Superb hospitality, great course and nice restaurant. Highly recommend!
I only played the front nine which was challenging but very enjoyable. It gets quiet hilly in places so a buggy is recommended, the tee boxes are in good shape, the greens good to be fair but have some sort of low lying plant growing occasionally which could affect your putting. The fairways are a bit rough in places, but playable. The holes in the main are varied and offer a really good challenge, but generally with stunning views. I’d certainly play here again if visiting the Alsace.
Very nice place to stay and along with the golf it makes up for a brilliant stay. The course might not be completely kept during the summer but it's a great challenge and there's more than enough memorable holes during the round but be sure to rent a cart otherwise you'll get too tired to enjoy the course along with the amazing scenery.
Good mountain course, very challenging.
Tough course but great to play in this mountainious area. Sourrounded by forest and wijnyards with beautiful views. We advise to take a buggy.
Difficult mountainous golf. 1 to 9 is ok. 10 to 18 is very mountainous. But what a sight. I consider it worth a visit.
A really nice, family-friendly golf. It's a public golf with a nice restaurant and 19th hole

If you are in the Colmar region, make sure you go to this premium winery in the village of Ammerschwihr. The wines are absolutely wonderful, especially the Grand Crus. Most wines are organic, which is wonderful. The staff is super friendly and they will let you taste all the wines you want. Hopefully you don’t drive and can enjoy the tasting fully. Otherwise they have spit buckets. Among my favorites, the organic dry Muscat, the gewürztraminer, Pinot gris and Riesling grand cru. If you like sweet wines, ask to try the late harvest. Wow. Make sure also you ask to see the cellar, you will see casks that are several hundreds of years old. It’s stunning. Cheers!
Good wine tasting where we got to kind of pick and choose which wines we wanted to taste. Our host helped us chose based on what we like and what we’d already tasted and guided us through the wines. After the tasting we had a walk around the cellar and bought some wine to take home with us.
Excellent winehouse with (free) acces to the cellar. Thomas was an excellent tasting host and presented the wines with flair and passion. Bought a few boxes of wine and I know that I will be sorry that I did not buy more!
Very tasty and quality wines. The service and the explanations are great anf very useful. We bought a great variaty of wines and will come defenetly back!
I recently had the opportunity to visit Jean Baptiste Adam winery in Alsace, and I must say that it was the most disappointing winery experience I’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that this visit would not live up to our expectations. The staff on duty seemed incredibly cold and unwelcoming. There was no warm greeting, no introduction to the winery or its offerings. Instead, we were handed a wine list without much explanation. When we inquired about the wines, the staff’s responses were brief and lacked enthusiasm. We were left to figure out the wines on our own, with minimal guidance. To make matters worse, we encountered an uncomfortable and challenging situation during our tasting. We expressed our interest in trying different wines, only to be met with resistance. The staff questioned our preferences and even went so far as to tell us that we were tasting the wines incorrectly. This lack of assistance and the confrontational attitude left us feeling uneasy throughout the process. As we sampled the wines and realized they didn’t meet our expectations, we decided to leave after trying just a few. However, our departure was not without further confrontation. The staff actually stopped us and challenged us for not making a purchase after tasting the wines. This was a stark contrast to previous winery visits where we were encouraged to explore and enjoy the experience without feeling pressured to buy. Ultimately, we felt coerced into purchasing a bottle of wine, under the guise that it was the best course of action after tasting. This kind of approach left a sour taste in our mouths, both figuratively and literally. We left Jean Baptiste Adam winery feeling disappointed, uncomfortable, and regretful of our decision to visit. In my years of exploring wineries, I have never encountered an experience quite like this. It’s unfortunate that what should have been an enjoyable and educational outing turned into a disheartening encounter. I hope that the staff at Jean Baptiste Adam can reflect on their approach and strive to create a more welcoming and customer-friendly atmosphere for future visitors.
Watch out! The guy who sold us the wine is extremely rude!!! We bought 3 boxes because we liked the wine we had at the restaurant, but we left the shop feeling insulted. First, when we asked for other recommendations beyond the one we liked, he brushed us off, saying it was “up to us to choose” and that it’s hard to recommend. Then, when we asked to try three wines — with the last one being the Clément — he suddenly turned rude and snappy, telling us we shouldn’t try Clément after a Gewürztraminer and that we should “listen to him if we don’t understand wine,” in a tone that bordered on aggressive. A truly eye-opening experience !!!!
We had an excellent experience here, starting with a look around the cellar and learning about the wine making process and different wines. We thoroughly enjoyed the tasting. Everything we tasted was delightful. Bottle prices are affordable as well. Everyone was very friendly and of course knowledgeable about the wine.
We got to try some very tasty and special wines before we buy. Historic place and a lovely and generous tasting experience and free (as it should be when you want to buy unlike some wineries charging a set fee for tasting). Reasonable prices for the bottles too.

Great group wine tasting experience. Definitely elevate your tasting with the cheese and meat boards. Enjoyable vineyard and vibe
We really enjoyed our visit. The wines were great, the personal was very nice and helpful. The price for tasting was very grateful for what you got, We would have paid the price for just half of the experience.
Had such a lovely experience at this wine tour. The price was reasonable and we tasted 6 wines. We then even got the chance to taste the Pinor Noir at the end of the tour, which was a lovely touch. The host was really great and informative. We would definitely recommend for anyone in the area who would like a really great tour and tasting session.
Have visited twice over the years and both the wines and the staff are excellent here. Warm welcome for wine tasting, patient and helpful description of the wines, and ease of purchase. Our favorite Alsace vineyard of several visited.
We happened on this domain on a bike tour and were welcomed by a warm hostess and a wide variety of wines to taste. The Riesling left a good impression! Thank you kindly, the young couple on the bikes from Belgium :-)
A friend suggested we go there and buy him 5 bottles of a specific wine. We bought it for him and after a relaxed wine tasting session bought another dozen for us 🤣
Family winery, friendly, really good price for value, tasty wines and creamant
Absolutely top notch wine b&b. High points - service, porch, ease of travel in the region, plenty of restaurants for dinner. Don’t miss out on their wines - very good prices and excellent quality.

We had the most amazing experience doing a tasting. The owners are absolutely outstanding! Out of all the vineyards we visited, she offered the best customer service experience. She was knowledgeable, kind, and welcoming as well as extremely accommodating. All of the wines we tried were delicious. Bottles to take home were very reasonably priced!. Our next trip to France, we definitely will come back.
Absolutely perfect. Nathalie is an incredible host and it’s amazing to understand the details of how the whole process is managed and the depth of knowledge of each of the wines. We had an 8-wines tasting experience, and came home with 12 bottles. Couldn’t have asked for a better afternoon.
We made a spontaneous stop here and spent more than two hours. Mr und Mrs Freyburger offer a perfect selection of wines and guide through the whole the tasting. Our highlight and an absolute recommendation for the region.
We had a really amazing time at Marcel Freyburger. I would 100% recommend this to anyone visiting the region, it’s a must do. The tour was informative and incredibly interesting paired with some delicious wines. Thank you for having us!
We had a really nice tasting of some of their wines accompanied by chocolates. Nathalie gave an exstensive explanation about the region and their wine making proces. She took us to the cellar as well. All in all it was a very fun experience and of course we bought some of their bottles.
We've visited, unannounced, and we were given a great explanation in English were possible, with French added. We felt more than welcome and felt the passion. Very balanced wines, each with their own taste. As a wine novice, I was very impressed and would recommend to anyone.
Nathalie was very kind to this English speaking only traveler making this by far the most attentive Domain visit and tasting experience I had in Ammerschwihr. The story behind "La Trilogie", a rare and unique Grand Cru marriage of Riesling, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer from the terroir Kaefferkopf, was as interesting as the wine itself. The wines are also a good value, making this a recommended wine visit for all.
Nathalie and her daughter gave us a fantastic tour in both English and French. Their hospitality was amazing and their Riesling Essentielle is second to none. Looking forward to visiting again in the near future.
