So many places to visit in this area with amazing history and this is no exception. Find the time to visit - a long weekend is essential.
It's a magnificent palace to visit. A short guided tour reveals the history of this noble place.
Excellent town to visit and excellent tourist office. The guided walking tour of the town is really worth the while
Nice place except for the front office staff.
(Translated by Google) I would like to give an opinion of the complex and not just of a palace, no matter how historically important it may be for our country. The town deserves to be among the top positions of the most beautiful towns, it oozes history through all its streets and alleys. It is literally impressive, just a piece of advice regarding the restaurants, being a town visited during the day does not mean having an expensive restaurant only oriented towards tourism.

It is advisable to take this guided tour because it is a small city but with a lot of history that the guide explains to you in great detail.
(Translated by Google) We took the guided tour and found it very interesting. Just being able to enter the crypt and see those wonderful paintings, we are delighted. Some anecdotes such as the inscriptions on the stones of the French soldier and the eclipse of 1300 complete the experience.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful Romanesque church, with Gothic and Renaissance parts at the foot of the remains of the castle, which hides in its crypt some wonderful Romanesque frescoes, which can only be visited if you do it with the guided tour (lasts 1.15 hours), which on the other hand is quite interesting. Cover that must have been fantastic in its day, but today is very deteriorated due to erosion. Guided tour only, but worth a visit!
first they took my money and then told me not to take photographs
(Translated by Google) The church of San Esteban is in the highest part of Sos del Rey Católico, so if you want to get to it you must be willing to climb several slopes and steps. There, Fernando II of Aragon (Fernando the Catholic) was baptized and was born in the palace-house of Sada at the express wish of his mother, Mrs. Juana Enríquez, who wanted her son to be born in Aragon. The view from there is magnificent and you can even see the Pyrenees, on this occasion very snowy.

It is recommended to buy tickets to learn about its history. In this cathedral, King Ferdinand the Catholic, founder with Queen Isabel of Castile, of modern Spain, was baptized. It is a historical landmark of the country. Really beautiful. (Translated by Google) Both the San church and the crypt are very beautiful. The beauty of this church demonstrates the importance of Sos del Rei C. Important to know, the church is not always open and since it is not to be missed you must visit with a guided tour, alternatively find the caretaker, a nice old man who will act as your Cicero. In one case or another, don't miss it.

I visited this town on a Sunday, when everything was closed and this was the only place open. At first the servers were cold and uninviting (probably tired), but when I returned for dinner in the evening they were very friendly. They helped me choose a local dish for dinner and it was surprising wonderful, very country style. My dinner with a view on the terrace ended with a patxaran on the house. Thank you for laughing at my not understanding spanish and kindly welcoming a solo tourist.
We came here to eat three times while we stayed in the town. The staff were wonderful and so kind to us. I can only speak and understand a little bit of Spanish but they were patient with me the whole time. Food was excellent for both breakfast and dinner. Can’t wait to visit again some day!
Yes. Yes. Yes. We ate here this evening 4/4/22. Early, by Spanish standards... but we're not Spanish! Asparagus & ham and Migas de Pastor as starters... pig cheeks and chicken with herbs to follow. Washed down with a bottle of vino tinto in a small bar in a beautiful hilltop village. Lovely. Despite having no Spanish... we made do by pointing...and laughing with our hosts for the evening.
A great place with a friendly staff! They have a great terrace but It fills up fast in summer. The food is good with reasonable prices. We repeated three times during our stay in Sos.
Stayed in the town during festival week and visited here a few times. I have a food allergy and the owner (Sarah) took the time to put up with my terrible Spanish and went through almost every meal to find something safe. She did this each time I went there. Such a lovely woman. The bar staff were also extremely helpful and really friendly. I will definitely return and also speak better Spanish as I was a nightmare customer language wise and diet wise.
Lovely local bar great food, great staff, good prices. Genuine Spanish in a beautiful but tourist town. Lovely.
Menu al dia for 12,50 euro on a Sunday night was excellent authentic food and a great value. Seems to be the place where also the locals go while the other few restaurants in town do cater more to tourists.
In a town filled with overpriced restaurants Bar Landa offers a menu del dia at night on the terrace with no TV, which represents value for money whilst walking the GR1. Friendly service from a patron who speaks a little English, whilst rubbing shoulders with the bemused locals. If you want 4 or 5 star plenty of other restaurants choices.

Nice cozy village, one of the #pueblosmasbonitosdeespaña . Walking on its narrow alleys you will now why it deserved this prize. Highly recommended to take a detour, even if it is not on your route plan, to spend some time wandering around it.
Beautiful little town with picturesque streets and tiny alley-ways to explore. Lovely architecture and nice views from the castle, but the streets and bars seemed totally empty when I visited on a weekday in early May.
Beautiful city, small town but very nice. Beautiful catadrela . The house that the king of Spain fernande born ...
One of the topmost charming villages ever been. Only after visiting there is possible to grasp
This beautiful village in Aragón is where King Ferdinand was born.
Unbelievably well preserved medieval village.
Quaint medieval village with magnificent stone palaces and narrow cobbled streets. It is famous for being the birthplace of king Ferndinad the Catholic of Aragon. There is a tourism office that will also give you brochures and information about the surrounding villages.
Great views from a hill top location, interesting historic town to visit on foot plus close to other attractions. Restaurant was also very good.
