Excellent place to visit. The tour was informative and clarified well the process of making whisky and gin. The restaurant served tasty dishes and there was also a vegan option that was really filled bread. We participated to a cocktail course where we were able to make our own cocktail from famous Kyrö spirits.
Go for the tour, stay for the bar! The tour is brilliant, it gives a real insight to the history and ethos of the company and takes you through the full spectrum of the drinks that they make. The bar is incredibly well stocked and has a cocktail list to make many London bars blush! The kitchen is also fantastic and their use of their own drinks in the dishes they make is done with a real eye to making their dishes unique.
I enjoyed your guided tour 6 years ago 8 August 2014 during the Napue Battle 300 years -reenactment! The bar was not even open yet! I will add photos from 2014- the start of your world famous Napue Gin.Well, it was not available yet... In 2015 we hunted it around Helsinki for our British guests. Lovely memories enjoying Napue Gin in London and on a remote Finnish island.
Nice place, worth a visit! English tour on Wednesdays - could be faster as I think too many extra info. Tasting available but we opted for a meal & gin tonic, really good :)
The home of the delicious Kyrö gin and whiskey line. We had the tour and the tasting - both very reasonably priced. The tour guide was very knowledgeable! It was great to hear about the history of the area, the company and most of all the distillation process. During the tasting we discovered ways to get to know the gins and whiskeys, and also their new products. We are sad to have to leave but will definitely visit again!
Excellent and very interesting tour describing some of the history and the process. Finished with tasting. Highly recommendable Kyrö Distillery Tour. Thank you Nadja!
Surely worth a visit. The tour is interesting and gives you a good background about the place, the brand, and whisky and gin making.
We took the "whole package" so to say, including first a Distillery tour, then gin tasting and to finish it off, an excellent dinner. The tour was excellent and really dug deep into the history of the company as well as the area in general. The gin tasting they organized very educational and covered their raw product, barrel aged rye whiskey from the batch 8, some Napue gin of course, some barrel aged Kaskue gin and their new lactose free Dairy Cream with rye whiskey. Our guide really went through all the steps of the tasting and everyone in our group really loved it. On top of this, we took the dinner package which for us inlcided a variety of starters, a main course with salmon and a dessert made from the new dairy cream product. It was paired with both red and white wines and our special dietary requirements from some of the people were really well taken into account. All in all an amazing place with fantastic people. A must to visit if you happen to be anywhere close by!

(Translated by Google) It's always good to stop and think about the momentary nature of our lives. Jesus came so that we could have eternal life and joy with Him already now. There is no need to fear death when you can be in mercy with Jesus. A large number of possible Lappish people have been buried in Leväluhta. They may have had some knowledge about God, but it was only after centuries that the good news about Jesus' tremendous work of redemption was proclaimed here in the North. Now is the time of grace, THANK YOU HEAVENLY FATHER FOR HIS LOVE and Jesus. It's worth a visit. (Original) On hyvä aina joskus pysähtyä ajattelemaan elämämme hetkellisyyttä. Leväluhtaan on haudattu suuri määrä mahd. lappalaisia. Kannattaa poiketa.
Strange Palace with interesting history. We had also Jason Voorhees with us.
There is not much to see here as such, but while visiting you can’t help imagining how things were 1500 years ago...

(Translated by Google) So where was that source? Having watched the documentary and read a lot about the subject and seen the pictures, it was disappointing to arrive there and see a dry, small land plant waiting for the traveler. There is no information about the source, nor about the red water or water in general. There was an information board and a dry earth press with an upright haystack. Only the wet base of the soap could tell that there was water in some form. It is likely that the cultivation and drainage of the fields has left this unique object in ruins. As such, I can't very warmly recommend stopping by the place, if you don't happen to be right along the route.

(Translated by Google) 18th-century Old-time market and summer weather - the best. My little cousin and I enjoyed barley porridge and donut coffee, and we went around the stalls. This year we also went on a free bus tour and learned about local history. In the old church of Isonkyrö, we lingered admiring the wall paintings and the crucified figure of Jesus on the pulpit. The swallow had got inside the church and was flying back and forth and couldn't get out. Sat on the arm of the wooden reliefs on the end wall of the altar. ❤️ We got to hear music played on old instruments - for free too. ❤️ Vanhoilla soittimilla soitettua musiikkia saimme kuulla- ilmaiseksi sekin.
