It's a perfect spot for a family picnic or a friendly gathering. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and it provided a lovely break between the excitement of the rides and activities. The staff at Ketteler Hof GmbH deserves a special mention too. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring that our visit was smooth and enjoyable. The park was clean, well organized, and felt very safe, which added to our peace of mind as we let the kids explore freely. We left with great memories and look forward to our next visit! Rating: ★★★★★ - Highly recommend for a fantastic family outing!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An absolute must-visit if you live in or are visiting the area with kids! We take the whole family and always stay from open to close—there’s so much to see and do that a full day is never enough. We usually bring our own food and enjoy grilling on site, which makes the day even better. A big bonus is the indoor park, perfect if the weather suddenly changes, so the fun never stops. Parking is easy and the entry tickets are affordable, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. This place really has something for everyone, and it’s one of the best family day trips you can make. Highly recommended!
Visited Ketteler Hof with the family in August and it was an experience to remember! The sunny weather complemented with a gentle breeze was the perfect setting for a day out. The park's vast array of attractions catered wonderfully to our kids, ensuring non-stop fun and laughter. From the meticulously maintained green landscapes to the thrilling rides and interactive play areas, there's something for everyone here. Would highly recommend for families looking to create lasting memories. A great destination for a wholesome day out!
Very recommended park for the little ones. Besides the extension and the variety of the things to do, what I appreciate the most is that is a very active park. Me and my family have the yearly pass and my daughter enjoy very much moving around. She always ends exhausted and you can see the improvement in her motors skills. Every single visitor from Spain we have, we bring them there and they are always amazed about the park.
The park exceeded our expectations. Although there were a lot of people, the queues for the games were never too long. My children were enthusiastic and played almost all the games. Climbing, sliding, exploring, floating on rafts. The indoor games are also the wonderful ones, an endless tangle of tunnels and secret passages.
Been here many times now. There's something new every time we come. (Every other year) so many playgrounds, slides, activities that you can't even play on them all in a day. Just pick your favourite and then plan another visit!
Our favorite climbing Park which we go every summer. It sets right in the middle of the forest., lots of shades, resting places. Wonderful for kids under 14 years old. Lots to do for the whole day. Going there is Better than being in a kirmes with all the rides and climbs. The best is kids above 6 can all do it themselves without adults.
Great place for children under 12 Huge park, lots of things to do. We liked the fact that children has to be active and do things , not only rides. Indoor space is amazing and good for any weather (with smaller children).

A wonderful animal park with many types of deer. Nice woodland trail, children's play zone and plenty of picnic spots. Feeding the deer is the highlight. Great way to spend a few hours.
We visited Naturwildpark Granat and were absolutely thrilled! This is a wonderful place to enjoy nature and see animals in a natural environment. The park is spacious, well-maintained, and provides large areas for deer, roe deer, wild boars, and many other animals. One of the best experiences was feeding the animals by hand—they are friendly and not afraid of people at all. The kids especially loved it because they could not only observe the animals but also interact with them. Walking through the park is a true pleasure: fresh air, scenic forest trails, and peaceful surroundings make the visit even more enjoyable. It’s a perfect spot for a family outing, and we will definitely come back! Highly recommended!
This is certainly a jewel in this area, and a bit of the beaten track. Nevertheless, it's a popular place at it offers a very unique experience for young and old. The biggest attraction is the grand opening area that allows visitors to walk among deer, with some do used to humans that they willingly feed from your hands the corn kernels the gift shop offers. Bring plenty for your nature hike, the cost for the boxes isn't prohibitively high. The rest of the park is also a worthwhile experience. The kids playground is fun and you can be certain that they fall to bed that night happy and exhausted.
Parking is scarce. Specially on public holiday. Also entry through ruhr top card is very limited. Reserve in advance. Park is good. Petting zoo is big. Trek is moderate.
Amazing, I can’t explain how much that place is amazing, it’s heaven
Beautiful park, big recommendation to visit any time.
Awesome place! The entire family had fun. There are playgrounds and picnic tables at a few locations. Highly recommend to all.
Cash only! Otherwise a perfect excursion with kids. Deer, kangaroos, birds, wolves, lots of nice animals to see and they get close as you can bring or buy some food for the animals.

Another must-visit place, it s not too far from bochum or other cities there, kind of a suburban. City centre is also worth to visit, there is a huge stunning church. Museum was huge, there happened wars between romans and saxons; when u got there you ll see the wooden castle and lots of models, so helpful to realise how romans invade and colonise and what they ve done there… tickets are way too cheap, can be purchased on the counter there
Must see! You can learn a lot of Roman history.
Great museum! Rome is amazing. Real antiquities, architecture, ancient "technology" and weapons.
It's small but nice to pass an hour or two
Loved visiting it. Well reconstructed. So much to see. Come have a travel to the past. You won't regret it.
Museum with a copy of a Roman fortress attached to it. Worth a visit if around
Immaculate displays of crockery, loved the mini soldiers display too.

Really fun place for both kids and adults. Fair price and you can pass there almost the entire day if your muscles allow it.
Ran 2 summer camp groups of 20ish kids thru here. Site was great, equipment perfect, the climbs fun and challenging. And the Staff were polite and very friendly. Plus there was a dog. Can't wait to go again.
Cool climbing experience for dare devils. Young employees, friendly and sensitive for scaredy pants like me. English spoken. Value for money and great location.
A well laid out "climbing forest" with various levels of difficulty. Interesting obstacles including a toilet you need to ride. Solo and team based challenges possible.
Had a very good experience.. Enjoyed it !!!

I've been going here to this HUGE out door amusement park for years with my kids. It is a great park for all the family at any age. Plenty of parking outside, entry prices are reasonable and you can get food, drinks, ice-cream etc inside plus beers. You will love it for sure. Great way to spend the day or days!
Very nice and huge park. Playgrounds everywhere, jumping cushions, water streams to play in, Sommerrodelbahn, pedal go-kart track, huge water and tyre slides, and much much more. There is a large indoor playpark, which is great when it starts raining. It's worth a visit!
We visited here for our grandchilds birthday. A beautiful place, well kept and so much to do. All at a reasonable price.
Best place of the sort I’ve been to in Germany
It was sooo big and I need all the day. Positive and full of happiness 🥰 I was working with beautiful children.
I don't know why Google classifies Ketteler Hof as an indoor playground (maybe it has one?). It is a fantastic outdoor playground, although the word playground seems insufficient to describe it. There are lots of big play structures, a couple of water slides (no swimsuit needed since you don't really get wet), some huge slides, a fun Rodelbahn (like a bobsled on wheels), some animals to see, and much, much more. A fun place for families, both for the kids and the adults.
Awesome experience..kids were very happy
This place is amazing, weather your 6months old or 65 it's fun for everyone.

The tower dates from this time. The nave dates from the early 13th century and the choir is from a 15th century extension. At this time some things were also rebuilt in the Gothic style. In the middle of the 16th century the abbey was converted into a free women's monastery. Since the monastery was abolished, St. Maria Magdalena has been the parish church of Flaesheim. In the church on the left at the entrance there is a wish book where you can write your heart's desires and requests to the good Lord and light a tea light next to it for 50 cents.
