This is a very nice campground. We spent one night and really enjoyed it. The facilities are very clean and reception made the check in easy. Its just a short walk to an almost completely empty beach.
This is by far the best campsite in Scotland . It’s a relatively small site in a wonderful location with spectacular views. It has great facilities, it’s dog friendly, it’s safe for kids and has wonderful staff. Make sure you book your pitch early . You will love this place it’s very close to the beach .
Lovely site. Beautiful location and access to amazing beaches. Super facilities. We had a quiet pitch on the top field. Was aware that there was a large noisy group of campers on next field. This would have spoilt our stay . Would return but would be concerned about the fact the site clearly attracts large groups of.
Fantastic campsite in an awesome location near to breathtaking beaches. Facilities clean and modern with hot showers. Short walks to local beaches. Delicious fresh pastries in mornings. Everyone on site very welcoming, and couldn't do enough to help. Shop on site limited range, and with no other local shops nearby, best to stock up in Mallaig Co-op. West coast a little off the beaten track, but well worth the trip. Highly recommend.
What a great site, stayed here for two nights earlier this week. The owner was really friendly and after checking in saw him a couple times working around the site. Nice hard standing pitches for motorhomes with artificial turf to the side so no muddy feet when getting in and out. Facility wise a very clean and tidy shower/toilet block, one shower in the gents was out of order (no light) but they’d left the disabled unlocked incase it was needed. The great thing about the site are the surrounding beaches, straight out of the camp site through a field (tidy path) and you’re there. Would definitely return in the future.
Nice campsite with access to a beautiful beach. Very friendly owner. Motorcyclists welcome. Best check availability in advance, because site can be quite busy at times.
Superb location. Very helpful and pleasant family staff. We had a self catering flat that was very comfortable with some very nice features. It probably has a bit further to go in the bathroom/shower department but overall we loved it.
We recently moved to Morar, choosing to stay a night at Camusdarach was the ideal solution to ease the stress of moving house. We have stayed at Camusdarach many times before for family holidays meaning it was an easy decision to ensure sanity and much needed breathing space.

Excellent little museum with a great display on the SOE training that took place in the area during WWII. Also has some interesting book on the subject in the gift shop for sale and a collection of book for the researcher.
Wonderful small village with its unsuspectedly interesting history. Passionated and keen to help volunteers are happy to transmitt you their knowledge.
Brilliant wee museum in Arisaig. Free with suggested donation but please support this great project. Plenty to see and do for all ages with interactive items for young and older kids. Very friendly chap on the desk too. Small shop with local made items too.
Such a lovely place to visit and learn about local (and by happy coincidence our national - Czech) history. Highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area. Lovely little souvenir corner too!
Worth a visit. It's small but very interesting. Friendly, happy staff. Nice wee gift shop. I bought the most delicious satsuma & Lemon marmalade made locally! 😋
One of my favorite stops. It has a lovely museum and I learned so much about this beautiful area and its history. I bought a lovely watercolor calendar made by a local artist.
Great wee museum with friendly staff. Very informative and interesting displays. Gift shop had lovely local produce and art.
Volunteer run museum which is well set out small but beautiful. There's space to sit & read some of the historical information about the training that was done by the SOE during WW2 & other military activities. They also hold archive materials & assist people with family research especially military service in this area. I sat & read for almost an hour about those who trained within the Special Operations Executive (SOE), which was fascinating!

First class. The best 9 hole golf course in Scotland. Fantastic greens and the views are second to none. Welcoming staff at the wee clubhouse too. Can’t wait to go back
Been coming Arisaig for 10 years now, and Traigh Golf Club is one of the main reasons. Simply stunning scenery, a testing course, the friendliest people in the wee clubhouse. Perfect. Have now been a member for (I think) five years and is the best money I’ll spend all and every year.
We love this course. Quite challenging 9 holes with fabulous views over to the islands. It's hard to concentrate when the views are so spectacular. Friendly welcome and reasonable prices.
Some of the most beautiful beaches and superb places no litter anywhere, don't forget to take a packed lunch as no shops close by
My favourite setting for a golf course..totally beautiful..great little course with some great blind holes to greens..Outstanding experience..totally brill views.
Really enjoyable 9 hole course with a couple of long par 5s mixing it up. Played it in July 25 and the course was in great condition. As a 20 handicapper it was a challenge, unfortunately only had time for 9 holes as for £5 extra you could buy an all day pass. The views as you can see were absolutely lovely too, and finally, maybe I was lucky but no midges to bother you due to the breeze off the sea.
A beautiful golfcourse.....AND if you are lucky you can watch the Highland games as well
The scenery is stunningly beautiful but the golf course is a disappointment . I was expecting a links course, but it’s opposite. Hilly, soft fairways, slow greens and many blind shots. If you are a bonafide golfer, do not waste your time and money.

Arisaig Archery is now open! I'd highly recommend the experience. Booking was tricky - we got a phone number from the hotel and connected to Mike, who told us he couldn't make the day we requested so maybe Tina would come. We weren't actually sure whether anyone would turn up, but we arrived at the appointed time and were pleasantly surprised that Tina was there and the targets, which only the previous day had been hidden, were now on full view. Tina was a wonderfully hands-off instructor, giving us more arrows after we'd had some initial practice, helping us move the targets back, and generally providing intermittent commentary. We had a blast, and paid £20 each for around 2 hours.
Brilliant. Mike, the instructor, was patient and informative with my 3 children (aged 8, 11& 13). My husband & children didn't want to leave, they had so much fun. Thank you, Mike.
Great fun! Great tutor and amazing scenery.
Excellent fun and really enjoyed it

10/10 fantastic day out with Chloe and the girls. My husband isn’t the most confident rider but they happily accommodated a mini lesson before the trek to help him feel more comfortable before heading out. Couldn’t recommend a better place to get your horsey fix while in the highlands, a must do if you’re in the area. It’s a real treat to ride such well behaved and cared for horses in one of the world’s most beautiful locations. We will definitely be back 🐎
As horse owners ourselves, me and my friend wanted a nice horse trek in Scottish landscapes on our Scotland trip. These horses were very well taken care of, they were very well behaved and the instructors were super nice and friendly. Even though it was reaaaally rainy, we cantered on the beach. Thank you so much for making our Scottish trip more special.
So good I did it twice! Staying in the area for a week and Silversands was just around the corner. How could I not? I enjoyed it so much I went back for a second helping and I managed to snag the lovely Flora both times. The scenery is stunning, and my lovely little pony was fabulous. Chloe and the team are wonderful, and brilliant to hack out with. They know their horses inside out and match carefully to make sure each rider has the best time. They’re also mindful of nervous and novice riders and are extremely supportive. Will definitely be back!
My daughter managed to tick off a childhood dream of cantering on a beach thanks to Silversands Trekking. A good experience from start to finish. They checked my daughter's ability in the arena first, before setting off on the road down to the beach. There she trotted in the surf and cantered on the sands. One happy girl.
A great beach ride for Grandparent, Mum and 5 year old. All three horses were so well behaved with staff and helpers professional and safety conscious. A wonderful memory in a stunning location; highly recommend, 5 Star 🌟
A MUST VISIT AND MUST DO If your visiting Scotland Highlands! The horses are so well behaved and the staff and Shelagh is fantastic with communication right upto the day. I wasn't quite a beginner but I joined a beginners trek out to experience the beach ride and the views and it is well worth the money! Smiles all around thank you so much See you next summer for a canter and trot! X
This is a great stables with lovely horses and staff. The experienced ride was great although we where on the road alot it was great when we got to the beach and had a canter
Had a fantastic hack with wee Flora on the gorgeous beach, thank you so much, I can't wait to come back!
