A beautiful place to admire nature while seeing falcons, hawks and vultures flying in blue skies.
I've never been at a better place to see birds of prey. Spectacular view of both the birds and the scenery
One of the few places where you can see big birds from the top. Some vultures have 2 meters in wings. Closer to the sunset you can observe them returning to nests for a night. Also great view at river Douro.
Nice view where we can see some exotic birds
Very nice and well built lookout. A lot of sitting spots in the shade and good place to watch eagles and other hunting birds.
This is a five star viewpoint. Sit and watch the vultures play in the evening thermals ...
This is the best place to see the valley from above

(Translated by Google) A visit to the main church is not to be missed! Built in the 16th century, in the Manueline style, it is speculated that it may have been built by Boitaca, given its similarities to the Jerónimos. After passing through the façade, with its Manueline portal, you enter the interior with 3 naves of the same height. The altarpiece is magnificent, with Baroque carvings and on the side wall there are 16 panels attributed to the Grão Vasco school. The two other chapels are also interesting and it is worth looking at the details of the construction, where you can see crosses of Christ and armillary spheres. Very cool castle you can visit for free when it’s open. Gorgeous views from the top of it, too. Majestic old, almost hollow tree held together with a giant steel belt was very neat and dare I say, poetic. The visitor center across the street was nice, the woman working there gave us ever since English-language brochure about Portugal she had which was funny and helpful I guess.
No tickets needed! The steps are steep and well worn, not for the faint hearted! The view from the top is awesome!
No other tourists when we visited which was great! Really interesting castle with a great view of the town. Its free to go inside and explore.
Check out the beautiful graveyard next door as well. You can see the chapel and the tower in the pic. And go to the top of the tower.
A bit strange village. Few guys walking around and it was difficult to get a beer nearby the church.
Wonderful views, historic,worth visiting
Excellent views from the top of the tower. Free entry
Interesting place to visit and it will be interesting to see again once the current works are finished.
