Amazing place in the woods. The guide was magnificent. The houses are authentic and filled to the brim with interesting items. Last but not least the smoke sauna is simply fantastic.
An easy two hours or more can be had just looking at the objects. There is a range of tools , arts and crafts and building with furniture. Then there is the stories of discovery and adventure. Getting into those sparks discussion and wonder. It was quite a fabulous afternoon. We cycled from the beach. The cafe is sparse. Just a tea and coffee and bread roll bun and ice cream. The whole display spans a wide range of interests. So good for kids and adults
This museum is very interesting to understand well the arctic pioneer. Several replicas or chalets, rustic houses and of the northern church in the world with inside all the furniture and accessories from a century ago:: Amazing !
It is a hidden treasure in Pietarsaari, west coast of Finland You can feel the passion for Polar Bear (Nanoq) and Greenland in the founder and his volunteers of this museum. You have to park your car at the designated visitors parking lot. The entrance fee is 10€ per head for an adult. Recommended! Worth to go!
Thoroughly enjoyed this exhibit of how several Arctic peoples live, and also Finish history, including the Winter War. Knowledge docents, some of which speak English. Structures were built by volunteers, started by one man whom has visited Northern Greenland 5 times.
Make sure you take the guided tour. It's not just a museum. It's a journey to the lives of the greatest adventures of our lifetime.
One of the interesting hidden treasures of Finland. The different buildings and scenes are well worth seeing. Museum it self is interesting but could use some elimination. Now it's in many places a "pile of all the items we have" and a cafe would definitely be in order. I mean self service ice cream is ok, but would have gladly paid for some sandwiches or some such after a long visit.
A unique place, set up with passion, dedicated to the history of arctic exploration and explorers. You may also hire some facilities for family celebrations or business meetings.

Good service and an atmosphere with rock music, one of the best places in Pietersaari to have a beer and enjoy a game of darts
Friends Pub in the heart of Jakobstad was surprisingly quiet on a Wednesday evening. Quiet enough to offer us a place to extend the workday a bit. A relaxing beer after work was also served. Quite limited selection when it comes to beers, but a pint of Guinness did it well. Only one local brew (Strengbergs Lager) available. Friendly service and a cozy place.
Absolutely brilliant place. Owner and staff is very kind. Live music was good.
Very frendly please, super music, nice peoples.
Still the best pub in town!

Nice place to have fun with friends. Bar is also nice, non-alco choices are also pretty great.
Jazz night a little odd. Beer variety good and pool table. Slightly more sterile than years back but solely due to clientele rather than atmosphere. The main pub in town!!!
You can come and get your car tomorrow if you have too many strong drinks.
Best pub in Jakobstad. Great prices and the best pub n terrace vibe in town. Though no guiness on tap.
Nice and cozy 😊good place to hang out with friends. I Always have a good time there.
A great place to have a beer Good music, good atmosphere and a full bar All you can ask is right there!
Best pub in town, run by great people and the place is cozy!

Not my kind of place, at all :(
(Translated by Google) Nothing special as a place of course in a leading position as the only night club in Pietarsaari the music should be better more the same old rallies have been playing there for 10 years I preferred Black sheep the opening hours are also on Saturdays pretty close to the same level as Melody (Original) Ei mikään erityinen paikkana tietenkin johtavassa asemassa kun ainut yökerho Pietarsaaressa musiikki saisi olla parempaa enemmän alkaa olleen samat vanhat rallit soinut siellä sen 10vuotta itse suosin Black sheeppiä aukioloajat ovat myös lauantaisin aika lähelle samaa tasoa mitä melodyssä
(Translated by Google) There were quite a few people when we visited. Too little time open. The bartender didn't know what his moomin was. Expensive entry €10. A lot of scum considering the size of the place and the number of people. The other customers were not terribly open to getting to know each other, but were in their own small groups. The music was at an appropriate volume. If there were other dance places in Pietarsaari, this place would also have to invest a little in customer satisfaction. (Original) Aika vähän väkeä oli kun käytiin. Liian vähän aikaa auki. Baarimikko ei tiennyt mikä on muumilimsa. Kallis sisäänpääsy 10€. Paljon järkkäreitä paikan kokoon ja väkimäärään nähden. Muut asiakkaat eivät olleet kauhean avoimia tutustumaan, vaan olivat omissa pienissä porukoissa. Musiikki oli sopivalla voimakkuudella. Jos Pietarsaaressa olisi muitakin tanssipaikkoja, joutuisi tämäkin paikka hiukan panostamaan asiakastyytyväisyyteen.
(Translated by Google) Quite a shocking place... You can't talk because your ears are bleeding because of the insanely loud music.. The only plus is that the only places in Pietarsaari that are open until 04 Fri-Sat.
