One of the most beautiful places in Slovenia) We climbed the Rivka waterfall in the spring (when it's warm and the mountain tops are still snow-capped😍) and then rested in the valley itself. Unfortunately, we didn't have bicycles with us, but we did have a scooter🙂.
An absolutely fairytale-like spot, with scenery that feels almost Swiss — at times even Norwegian. The valley is breathtaking, with sharp color contrasts and sweeping mountain views. There’s plenty of space to walk around or ride a bike, and the road leads straight to the waterfall trail, which is an easy 15-minute walk. Definitely a place where you’ll want to linger, because the views are just unreal.
10€ per car for entry. The various parking spaces within the valley are then included. Worth it if you take the time to enjoy the valley. Take the time to walk the various trails, have some local food and see Rinka Waterfall at the end, or perhaps climb further to the mountains from there. Saw some cute highland cows too.
Very nice place, if tou fo with car you have to pay a ticket, we paid 10 euro for 2 persons and car, there is also a verry nice waterfall. You have to go on the trail fkr 15 20 min but deffinetly worth it
You pay 10€ to access the national park, you can't walk outside the path, no bikes, everything super strict and that's super fine. But in the middle of the national park, near Hotel Plesnik, a really bad stink coming from open dumpsters and an open sewer.
Loved the nature here. Everything looks so beautiful and organised. Will highly recommend to anyone who loves hiking.
Winter really gives different experience, really nice plce to visit, recommend it!
Nice place to take a walk and spend half a day. Went up to the waterfall. The photos are from 11 May

We happened upon the panorama road on the way to Logar Valley and decided to take it. It did not disappoint!! Amazing, breathtaking views. Not for the faint of heart, or those who have car sickness issues. I did read later that it is popular to hike the trail. Maybe next time, we will plan for that.
Tourist information centre is warm and cozy, our problem was with the bike rental service. We chose a regular bike (25€) and an E-bike (45€). Prices were similar to other places, but we had to return them 2h after having taken them because of the rainy weather. Of course weather's not their fault, but instead of reducing the total price, or charging just half-day (this option is available in other rental places), the girl attending us just invited us to a tea. After paying 70€ and not having been able to use them properly is, in my opinion, too much. In fact, that's not exactly "good" for the company, but having given us some advice on not taking them that day would have been really nice and human). We've been renting bikes all around Slovenia, and the attention has been sincere and helpful, we can't tell the same with these people.
We rented four bikes today. While one of them was brand new and worked well, the other three were clearly older and not up to standard. Their batteries drained very quickly — one of them was completely depleted after just 20 kilometers, which really shouldn’t happen. This left us in a tough spot, especially given the challenging terrain we were riding through. On the positive side, the person at the reception was very friendly and helpful, and arranged support for us promptly. That said, for the price being charged, we expected better quality equipment. I’d recommend the owners consider updating their fleet to ensure a reliable experience for all customers.
The center of Solcava where you can get tourist and other information and enjoy in home-cooked food and home-made drinks and in enjoy beautiful views.
If you want to go into past this is a great place. Friendly staf and good coffee.
Tourist information centre in Solcava. There is also coffee-bar and souvenir shop. Helpful staff.
Exhibition in the underground is a tourist trap. Just one narrow corridor with few pictures, few logs and an unwilling angry reception lady shouting on us when a kid used an axe on a wooden log there. Definitely avoid wasting even 5 minutes of your life there.
We booked and paid for e-bikes online day before, came and were surprised they do not have any available.

Really friendly and beautiful church. Hidden gem. Stop and enjoy.
Beautiful place, very helpful tourist information center.
(Translated by Google) The church is certainly the most beautiful building in the place, which should not be missing from any photo. Interesting interior with bark. It is also worth taking a walk through the cemetery. The church can be reached by car. A staircase and a gentler path also lead from the center of the town.

Nice little chapel next to the road. YOu can leave your car free, if you dont want to pay for the road to Logarska valley. Anyway the Rinka waterfall from this chapel by car ~ 15 mins, by walk ~ 2 hours. So for families I would recommend to pay for the road or take a looong walking.
Lovely chapel in Logar Valley. Park here and bike into the valley. Beautiful views most of the 7km to the Rinka Waterfall.
Awsome place..worth a visit..
