One of the most impressive caves in Europe. Massive underground halls with incredible stalactites and stalagmites, some over 20 meters tall. Formed over 10 million years ago by underground rivers carving through ancient limestone. The tour takes a little bit more than one hour. The guide was friendly and told a lot of interesting things about the cave. You really get a sense of the cave’s age and geological history. The cool temperature (~10°C) was refreshing, especially for kids, so long sleeve jackets will be helpful. Recommend to check a time when excursions start to avoid a long waiting time. A must-see for nature lovers
We enjoyed it a lot! Absolutely stunning place, 2km walk through real natural masterpiece! Be aware of 10 degrees Celsius in the cave and entering hours in the high season. Highly recommended
Great cave that definitely worth for the visit. We were on tour started today 22.8. at 18:30. At that time many places to park. We bought the tickets onsite (adult 12€ and child 7€) and paid by card. At least huddie/sweater is more than recommended and of course good shoes because in some parts it is very slippery. In our group was 10 people + guide. The tour lasted almost 1,5 hour because she (guide) spoke first italian and then due to us english, otherwise the tour would last shorter. The way out of the cave is the same as the way into the cave. I must praise the guide (sorry, I forgot her name) - she was very kind and nice. The way back we were talking not only about the cave itself but also about the Sardinia, life and interesting things in this country. At the end, when we were leaving the cave, she showed us one of the cave inhabitants - some kind of salamander which is all black so the photo it is not very good. Nevermind, thank you once again for great experience
Amazing place to visit. Great value for money. You need to be relatively fit as there are 800 steps in total. Some of the caverns are 50 metres high and the temperature is around a constant 10C. Closed in the winter months as it's inhabited by a large bat colony. Check tour times before arriving as you can only visit on a guided tour. Languages are Italian and English
Spectacular cave worth the visit. The staff is really friendly and the guided tour gives an interesting insight into the place. The parking space is not a long walk to the entrance and you’ll find the start of the cave after a few stairs going up. Don’t forget to bring something to cover up as the temperature can get a little chilly at the bottom! And look up in advance for the schedule of the guided walk in order to wait as little as possible.
Unmissable piece of Sardinia's complex beauty! A truly awe inspiring experience. A cathedral (the scale is easily comparable) of limestone carved by millennia. Access was remarkably straightforward and our guide was superb and absolutely thorough. The architecture of this place dwarfs you (and your comparatively fleeting existence).
I just can’t praise Grotta su Marmuri enough – it’s an absolutely extraordinary place that leaves a huge impression from the very first moment. The cave is enormous, majestic, and full of stunning rock formations – it’s hard to believe that nature created something so spectacular. Walking through its vast halls truly feels like stepping into another world. A big highlight is the guide – a speleologist who leads the tour in both Italian and English. Her knowledge, passion, and way of telling stories are remarkable. You can literally see her love and dedication to this place shining in her eyes, which makes the whole visit even more special. The organization of the tour is top-notch – everything runs smoothly and the atmosphere is very welcoming. This is without doubt one of the must-see places in Sardinia. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for unforgettable experiences! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
It is the largest cave in Sardinia. Entry was possible immediately or in two hours, we decided to go in two hours because we had been in the sun longer and wanted to have a snack in the restaurant by the cave. We had visited the ghost town before that, which I am also writing a post about, because it is worth visiting. We had delicious Sardinian specialities to eat and Sardinian beer and grappa. The way to the cave is uphill, you have to climb a lot of stairs and it is challenging for people who are not physically fit. Then you enter the cave down many stairs. The cave is beautiful and well lit. It has a stable temperature of 10 degrees, so it is good to have something warm to wear. Some only had a T-shirt and it was very cold. But when we reached the middle of the route, the electricity went out, so after some time of waiting we returned and we were even refunded the entrance fee without asking for it. The staff were very serious.

Lovely little art museum with a fine collection of pieces by the legendary Sardinian artist Maria Lai.
I tried to visit the museum today (Thursday, 4:30pm) and it was unexpectedly closed. I drove 2 hours just to visit the museum and checked google and Instagram beforehand (both said it’s open). I recommend highly to call before you want to visit or ask if the museum is in fact open!
Interesting place, beautiful art with great story behind it. Nice stuff, although they don't speak English a guide put a lot of energy to explain us exhibition.
Amazing works from Maria Lai. The guides are very competent, real experts (specialy Claudia). A must see in Sardinia
Fascinated by this genius artist and the unique atmosphere of the place. A must see!
Very impressed by exhibition. Strongly recommend guided tour!
Cute exhibition, made me think a lot

Simone is a great guy! Contact with him went very smoothly. Simone is helpful and he gave us some tips and nice routes. The environment is beautiful and the bikes are handy to use. We would absolutely recommend this! Thanks Simone!
We did a 10 days e-bike tour organized by Simone and we liked it very much. Simone is very friendly, professional and helpful. He organised for us the e-bikes, the accomodation, the transfer of luggage and a couple of excursions. Everything was perfect.
A great way to learn more about the region and to appreciate the landscapes and panoramas even more. They have great equipment, a fantastic experience!
(Translated by Google) Beautiful experience: led by Simone, riding bicycles with electric assistance, we spent 3 hours discovering beautiful and suggestive areas. The bikes, with carts attached, allowed us to share the adventure with our children, who had a lot of fun. For those of us looking for something nice to do, which even the little ones can enjoy, it's no small feat. Thanks again and truly an experience that I recommend.
(Translated by Google) The tour with Simone was definitely one of the highlights of our vacation. We drove through the mountains with him for over 4 hours. The bikes are great, Simone always adjusted the saddle height depending on the road conditions and gradient. We felt very safe with him. He also explained a lot to us about the region and showed us beautiful viewpoints. Communication in English was absolutely problem-free. We can definitely recommend a tour with Simone 👍👍👍 (Original) Die Tour mit Simone war definitiv eines der Highlights unseres Urlaubs. Beautiful location…even more beautiful in the rainy season when the waterfall will be quite spectacular. Pictures are during summer, so low rain conditions
I would like to ban all the donkeys giving one star to a natural formation that turns into a waterfall after rainfall 😂 if you feel let down by nature then why did you choose Sardinia? Btw- yes, you will definitely find a place to park, don't read the comments.
Remember: only after heavy rainfalls! So it's basically useless going there in springtime/summertime
We were here in the beginning of April and it was almost dry. Really not worth it after the long and awful drive through Ulassai. Don't know when to come here for it to be like in other photos.
What can I say there’s no waterfall, as dry as a nun
After a very rainy night in november we expected to see the waterfall, but the river was completely dry
We arrived at the place on an incomprehensible road and did not find anything marinating time.
03.04.22 - Not so much water. I would not say this is worth the visit due to the road to get there. Its like playing a video game of dodging pot holes and oncoming traffic. We also had to avoid a man trying to walk a wild and out of control pig that seemed to be scared of cars (naturally...its a pig) But if you really like waterfalls or know the water is flowing a-lot, maybe worth a trip.
