A beautiful former country house. It's lush gardens are picturesque. Lake Bagsvaerd is like in its backyard. The whole region around is very beautiful to bike or walk around with lakes, and forest.

If you go there to visit the cafe, please don't! Apart from the sensorial disappointment, you might also get diarrhea or other unpleasant sensations. Me and my partner did. The captain was incredibly friendly and welcoming. It's a journey rich in history and beautiful natural scenery, making it a truly peaceful and memorable escape from the city.

We were really disappointed with our Baadfarten Boat Tour experience. Even though we had the Copenhagen Card and arrived early, we weren't allowed to board. The staff claimed the boat was full, but we saw many empty seats. It felt like a poor excuse and left us frustrated. We expected better service and transparency.

We had a bad experience on our trip today 2025 Aug. 9th. We got on at 10.50 at Aldershvile. - The boat captain is borderline dangerous and we are considering notifying the police. At one point the boat needed to overtake a kanoo with a parent and two small children. Instead giving them plenty of time to steer to the side, the captain honked at them quite close to them, so they had only the absolutely shortest amount of time to react. When we overtook them I'm pretty sure that our fast boat was touching their kanoo (with two small kids). The look of the parent was "what the hell are you doing". - At two scheduled stops the captain did not stop. A couple with a small child had to wait until the route returned the boat back again. That took a long time. When we had to get off the captain lied and told us they asked if anyone had to get off, but he clearly hadn't. We were also standing up in the middle of the boat, moving towards the exit. With such a small boat, and two staff they should be able to simply turn their heads and see if anyone was preparing to get off. I had to yell to get the captain to actually stop at the scheduled stop. - When passing under a bridge the boat hit the underwater guides and we had a small bounce back and forth. - Tickets were not inspected, and we counted 40 people on the right side of the boat, the total capacity being 60, so it was very likely the boat was over capacity.
