Best resort I have ever skied! Came here around Christmas with my wife... Huge slopes, snow was great, weather was great. No lines. Amazing lifts. Friendly staff and people. Overall the is my all time favorite ski slope!
Big area, but the quality of skiing very much depending on being on the north side (less sun impact) and altitude (1800-2800m). This leaves the Nordseite above Fiss & Ladis and the Lazid / Scheid and Masner areas further away from Serfaus as the best areas. The areas to and back from these areas are really bad in the afternoon when temperatures are above zero and sunshine (slush snow and pistes a mess). So once in an area with good conditions better to stay there till the end of the day. Higher areas are subject to poor visibility when low clouds, though. Overall I would not recommend this area for beginners to medium level skiers, unless very small children that stay in Berta’s Kinderland areas. For skilled skiers the area is much better suited with most pistes challenging red and black ones. My preferred area was the Nordseite. Since only red and black pistes there, not much bad skiers around, and being at the extreme end of the area also less crowded, especially the area of the Almbahn gondola and 12er-bahn chairlift. Nice stop there is the Schöngampalm restaurant, just before the Almbahn gondola. Ladis is very small and quiet, more focussed on families with small children. Fiss is much bigger and best located in the centre of the whole area. Serfaus is also big and more happening, but logistically more challenging, with the metro playing a big part in logistics (cars only allowed for check in & out), with the ski lifts only at the complete other end of the village from the entrance and car park. Overall I enjoyed my stay from 15-22 March, but I will not return here due to the mentioned fluctuations in ski conditions between the sub-areas, with much better areas nearby for the same price level.
My family and I have had a wonderful experience here!! Well worth the travels from the United States. It is gorgeous, great ski, and everyone is so kind. It is also very family friendly!
One of the worlds best ski resorts and arguably the very best for families. An exhaustive network of runs that are nicely favored to intermediate skiers. The mountain restaurant huts are modern yet traditional in style with fantastic meals and service. The infrastructure is very modern and well maintained. And value is probably the best around when you throw it all together. But most of all, this place goes out of its way to keep the kids happy.
Absolutely beautiful and charming place. There are a lot of pistes of all types, which is great. In high season it gets very busy and the blue pistes in Serfaus end up being quite destroyed halfway through the day, due to less experienced skiers and being the only way back to the bottom of the mountain, so getting back at the end of the day can be a challenge, but overall it is really a fun place to spend your ski holidays!
Great ski resort. A lot of ski runs, high altitude resort. Serfaus is a bit on the quiet side, but this was great for us. The resort is very good for families and kids. Locals are not so friendly to tourists, this was the only minus.
One of the big ski resorts in Austria, and a quite touristy one. You'll find a big choice of slopes which you can all access with your pass. Since the resort is actually comprised of 3 places, you can also easily spend 3-4 days here with constant skiing. The area is well known so expect lots of other people during peak season, though they're getting distributed quite well just because of the size of the place. Transportation and parking is convenient. Unfortunately the quality of piste preparation is rather mediocre, slopes were already bumpy around 10 a.m.! The food is also mediocre for a high price. It looks like the restaurant owners get low purchase price food to maximise profit (pizza, burgers, sausages, low quality meat).
Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis is a very nice ski area. Serfaus has a nice metro line to bring you to the 3 gondels (Komperdellbahn, Alpkopfbahn and Sunliner) which bring you to the main ski slopes from where you can go further into the SFL area to explore more of the area. I would go back here!

Cool place! They have easy rides however we are not beginners and were challenged on the blue tracks. Relatively expensive. Half day bike, gear and gondola 150 per person. Getting the bike in the gondola is exiting lol
Bike park has potential, but it is not that big and charging 57 euros for day ticket and also parking is ridiculous. SFL area is busy, so I understand why the parking but the day ticket should be cheaper. Specially when you spend over 20 min in line waiting to get on gondola. What is even more ridiculous, they don't even have some type of bike rack inside the gondola, so you have to hold the bike upright the whole ride up, which is uncomfortable. They should invest in some type of rack system right away, never seen this.. specially since they charge so much for ticket. Even smaller bike parks have them. Also, they mention in review replies that crew of 13 people take care of the trails. Well there is lot of braking bumps and that doesnt happen just after few days or week(s), so maybe they should start working on that. Also it would be great to see somewhere which trails are opened (online, by ticket line), because there were few trails closed. Overall dissapointed with this bike park, definitely won't be back. I enjoyed the enduro singletrail from the top of the mountain, but the line and waiting time was even more crazy, in the morning, recommend going up there after lunch, no line then
Bikepark Fiss is an absolutely amazing all-around experience. The gondola up is fast, there are plenty of trails to choose from so no matter if you are a beginner or pro, you’ll find fun lines to hit. The trails are split into numerous sections so you can mix and match your way down the mountain. Trail quality is also quiet high with a crew almost always working on fixing something. Lift tickets are a little pricey, but for the quality of Bikepark + scenery, I can’t complain. Honestly feels like a Mini-Whistler everytime I visit. 10/10!
The Gravity card now includes all trails in the area and all lifts!! Before we would head straight to Nauders for variety, now this place is on top of our summer list! Frommerseen trail in my top 10 ever. And brand new Almbahn and Alpkopf trails make it as much fun for families as for experienced riders! Top!
Disappointment. Good trails for beginners and kids, that would be only good thing I can still say about this bike park. Been there multiple times over last 12 years, also stayed in Fiss and Serfaus. But if I pay 186 euro for 2+2 plus parking, I would like that at least trails and features are opened and not closed for maintenance. Closing 1/3 of a trail for half a day, because you patch 4 holes in 2 berms is a joke, maybe check how other bike parks are doing maintenance and detours. All in all, seems that Serfaus/bike park would be more like swiss posh resort like Zermatt or St Moritz not place for bike park rats, sad.
Bikeparks is nice, no doubt about it. but it's too expensive and they have the audacity to charge you with 6€ for parking when you already payed hundreds for the lifts. who thought this would go down well with the customers? will not go there again.
I loved it here. There is a nice selection of trails, but I especially liked the jump line - Strada del Sole - most of its jumps are between 4 to 10 meters and there is a nice mix of table jumps, step ups and step downs, a few shark fins and lots of optional lines. But what I loved the most about it, was the natural flow, not much need to pedal or brake to get the exact speed to hit each landing. We also rented stuff there for my son and the service was great. It was also awesome, that we got a small price deduction, due to the super summer card, which you get from partaking hotels. The store is also well stocked and the staff was very friendly. The gondola is reasonably quick and there was seldom a line for me. What is also a bonus, that there are a few very nice trails in the surrounding mountains, which can also be included in the lift card for a small extra fee. So much fun can be had. Full recommendation. We’ll be back. 🤘🏼🤩🤘🏾

Amazing breathtaking place with a play ground for kids. Note that there is no parking at site, you have to park a bit far and walk to it.
That’s a lovely park with a huge walkable path. Very clean and not so crowded.
With a beautiful sunny ☀️ weather this Lake is so peaceful and beautiful. I just wanted to stay there for hours and hear the sounds of Nature.
Great place to relax and enjoy the views. If you can handle the cold you can dip your feet in the water. Children will love the playground, lots of this to climb and play with water
Fantastic view, great place!
Nice place, easy walk from either Fiss or Ladis. There is a machine where you can buy drinks and ice cream. Unfortunately, it only takes coins.
There is plenty of things to do and play with the kids. Very beautiful arranged playing ground with themes and educational part. The artificial waterfall and river just look as nature did it by itself. You can rent umbrella's for free at this place. There are free and clean toilets as well. You can spend a whole day at this place if the sun is shining and you are keen to get wet! ;-)
Nice place! To swim and for kids to play

Great service and flexibility covering a broad range of age groups and levels of experience. Easy to book, either through a pre-booking via the website or directly on-site. Staff is very helpful. Private lessons also possible.
Had not so great experience with out private lessons for 2 adults, at least not for the price. Paid 700 EUR for 2 days, 3 hours each. Overall practiced good exercises, but the instructor would rarely stop to give proper feedback and it was more effort from our side to specifically ask. Sometimes he would just run off a lift without looking if we were even ready to follow him or take a lift with a fellow instructor instead, leaving us alone from what could have been valuable learning time. These were the most expensive prices in Europe we had so far and the service/attention received was well below. On a different note it was rather interesting that upon booking 1 month in advance we indicated language preference for English, but were informed that could not be guaranteed. We got lucky I guess at least with that, but come on – if you get a booking in advance, then just find a right person and reserve him/her. Should not be hard. To the contrary our friend had all positive experience from her group lessons which were rather small (6-10 people on different days) and had lots of productive feedback. Obviously it was also much cheaper. All in all, I'd say you may get lucky or you might not. UPD: Received a call from the instructor and spent 12 minutes on the phone. It is not clear what he was trying to achieve, but it did not sound like an attempt to genuinely understand and listen what went wrong; in short, he believed that the comments made are not exactly fair and we could have said if some things were not working out for us. I guess it is a reasonable observation, but for some reason we did not feel comfortable sharing it that directly during the lesson, but have made similar points when discussing after the lesson. It is also worth noting for full transparency that on day 1 the lesson was by me and my wife. On day 2 it was my wife and her friend since their levels of skiinng were better aligned. This review was written based on feedback of all 3 people and all made very similar observations. Some things happenned on day 1, some on day 2.
Hiring process for ski instructors is not transparent at all and very dodgy. No one answers the phone (tried for 3 days in a row), people with lower qualifications get hired over highly qualified and experienced people. Luckily found and got hired at another ski schule that used a professional interview process (personal video call) as it should be, instead of hiring people based on gender or online survey form.
Best skischule for kids We came with a 6 years old son with basic skills and left after 6 days with a quite good skiing child. Hint: try to chose Ole as ski instructor - 18 years old, very good teaching skills and loved by all the kids in the group.
We had an outstanding experience with the ski school. Our son enjoyed it and big thanks to Katja for her kind support thru the lessons!
I had a fantastic experience with Skischule Fiss-Ladis! The school is impressively well-organized, and I can't praise my ski instructor, Franz-Josef W., enough. His exceptional talent as a ski instructor was evident in the way he paid attention to every member in the group, ensuring no one was left out. He motivated us by acknowledging even the smallest improvements, creating a positive and empowering learning environment. It's a testament to his exceptional teaching skills and dedication to ensuring each student felt accomplished. I genuinely enjoyed his classes, and beyond being an amazing teacher, Franz-Josef proved to be an incredibly kind human being. Additionally, I want to highlight my daughter's instructor, Femke, who she adored. The positive experience with both instructors made our time at Skischule Fiss-Ladis truly memorable. Highly recommended!
We book with the ski school for second year group lessons for our two kids and this time we booked a private lesson as well. The ski teachers and the school is the best we ever used and we are very impressed of how good everything is , how well organised is and the teachers are great. We will highly reccommend the school and we will use it again next time.
Very good ski school, our daughter started in bambini and has progressed a lot up to k3 this year. Good and clear communication online and great infrastructure onsite. Teachers in many languages available. Also strong offer for private lessons

Good food for a decent price. The staff was friendly (though 1 friendlier than the other 😅) and very quick with bringing out our drinks. The hamburgers were really good and of a decent size. Would definitely recommend going here one night when staying in Serfaus.
As always amazing food and perfect service. When we're visiting Serfaus, we go for burgers here twice! If you like good food, and love mear, this is the place to be. Thank you!
Great food, super-friendly staff, and a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. I had the beef short ribs which were delicious (the portions are huge, so depending on the appetite, you might consider sharing). There is a veggie burger for the vegetarians. Great experience, highly recommended!
Supreme burgers (we had the signature ones - wow), very friendly and attentive service, and overall a very nice and cozy place to spend the evening. Highly recommend!
Hamburger was really good! However the ribs and chicken wings were average.
Best beef short ribs I have had in some time, nice and smokey, and my kids loved their burgers. Friendly staff, good vibe for a bbq joint.
Nice place with gustatively quality food. Kids menu is bit small, only for kids under 10. Just a burger is enough for a mean person, do not even try any chips, otherwise you will eat for next two days. Menu is upon the QR code (see pic attached). On first plan is a farm burger, on the second - cheesy bacon.
Great setting, with true attention to detail… this is also reflected in the food: fresh, high quality ingredients, lots of flavors, and clearly prepared with love… perfect mix of distinguished and rock ‘n roll!

Super fun family hiking trail. The children will have a good time solving the riddles and finding the stars (ask for the booklet at the bottom lift station or download the app - QR code found at first sign on trail). The parents will have good fun as well and can enjoy the views.
Great walking trail. Fun for the kids, and very well maintained.
Amazing for kids. Very well taken care off. There is an app you can download for free to explore the path.
One of the best things I’ve ever done with kids! Magical, creative, so awesome - if. You have book from Info office with stickers especially! Go after 5pm when it’s more spooky and not crowded, just ask someone to pick you up at the end (cable station will be closed after 5pm) or bring a bike there beforehand
Nice walk for children
Great for kids, really crowded and would suggest to make it one-way as the path is quite narrow to pass
Interesting hiking your for children with riddles and a prize if you bought the booklet for 2€ at the info point
Not for small kids
