Unique place, one of the most remote castles in the Iberian Peninsula, nobody around. It was once a wonderful place to observe the huge Vultures, even the very bad and difficult dirt road makes the access difficult! A must place if you want to be alone, and in communion with unspoiled Nature
Incredible isolated old hill top town. Super atmospheric, great short trails available to walk. Bumpy roads to get here but well worth it 👌
Nice place. Good to spend time with the family
Its a bit difficult of access, but that's also what makes it fun and the view is worth it. It's the perfect belvedere to the rivers nearby and a part of Alentejo, provides a beautiful scenery.
Stunning castle, bit of a trip to get there but really nice surroundings and a place to take in history.
Abandoned Middle Ages castle in the middle of nowhere. Fantastic scenery in the Portuguese-Spanish border.
It's amazing place, surrounded by nature with spectacular views!!!
The castle is worth the visit. The current castle is build on top of a mourish one that sits on top of some roman baths 😊
