Historical place. Clean neat and tidy. There are two restaurants and two play areas for kids at this brewery. Gift shop is pretty awesome too. Delicious food in the main restaurant friendly and fast service. Gets busy over the weekend so better to go in a bit early if you are aiming for lunch. You can get different types of beer and one of its kind rothaus whiskey.

I've been to this brewery twice and have enjoyed my visit both times. Maybe sometime I'll take the tour. But tour aside, there's lots to experience and the surroundings are just so very pleasant and peaceful. Maybe with bus loads of tourists it would be less so but fortunately there were few during my visits. Everything is just so clean and perfectly maintained, showing you that a state-owned brewery is clearly a money maker! The restaurant is very nice, as well as the new Schnellimbiss toward the back of the huge "essplatz". Lots of outdoor seating. The gift shop is interesting (a bit pricey) and the small museum toward the back of the big building to the right of the restaurant is very interesting, regardless of your German comprehension. You can of course sample the beers within the gift shop/bar area (not sure of the cost of that). A very pleasant drive (on a nice day - it would be a nightmare in rain or snow) to the Rothaus complex. I'll go back!

Was very sceptical about this park, but we actually had a very nice day, park was completely free. Sculptures were overall in good condition, there is also an activity course. Overall a well maintained park with nice picknick spots and stuff to do for the kids. Great pub and brewery nearby. Recommended with young children for an easy day out.

The museum is nice and exhibits over 3 floors. The kids tried all of the activities and enjoyed it well. The catch is that all the models are described in Dutch although you can get an English notebook fwith expositions for them.

Disappointing and Not Worth the Time Honestly, I have no idea how this place got so many good reviews. We were hoping for a fascinating experience that would engage all the senses, but what we got was a short, boring trail with unclear stations and poor maintenance. The kids got bored after 10 minutes, and some of the installations didn’t even work. The explanations were minimal—some only in German—and nothing really gave a sense of “senses” like the name suggests. Even the scenery wasn’t impressive. On top of that, we paid full price—and there’s absolutely no justification for it. Not recommended, especially if you’re traveling with children and looking for something fun or stimulating.
