The best place on the planet 🌎❤️❤️💕💕😍😍!!
One of the most beautiful lakes in Austria, and also the clearest water in Austria. But almost all areas were private, which meant it wasn't easy to find areas to enter the lake. But we still found some secret places that make us like have a private lake area. We didn't do full complete ways around the lake because we didn't use comfortable shoes for walking. Notes: parking can be a bit confusing as no one was present to accept payment, but there were plenty of areas available for parking your car.
Beautiful lake and nice trails around it.
Beautiful lake with crystal clear water. As I found out, motor boats are prohibited (thanks God!), therefore you can enjoy peaceful and quiet time at the one of the beaches around the lake. Highly recommended!
So many times I have been in and around this beautiful lake and it never disappoints me. Sunrise or sunset and everything in between, it’s gorgeous. The water is pure and most of the time you see the ground. A real gem in the heart of an amazing area.
The lake is gorgeous, the water is unreal blue and the surroundings are just as beautiful! Is really easy to get there from Salzburg, we went after work and just stayed to watch the sunset.
Finally the weather changed, so we could make a hike in here. We choosed tour around lake - it takes around 3 hours easy walk with many stops for enjoyable views. It is 12 km, can make a stop in Fuschl am See for beer or coffee. Really easy hike, we can recommend for everyone
The beauty of Austria. The reason why I am here. Simply amazing. Water is sooooooo green & clear. Love this place. Local hotels are very nice. Parking facility available. Good for children as well. Lots of activities to do.

Great place, it pleased me to see the RedBull center in my own eyes. great environment, for work perfectly. The work inside such offices allows people to invent perfectly perfect products, one day I will have here also my own place too
Even without stepping inside, Red Bull GmbH’s headquarters near Fuschl am See is a striking symbol of innovation, bold design, and global influence. Nestled in the breathtaking Austrian landscape, the building itself is a visual standout — a futuristic, glass-dome structure set against the serene alpine backdrop. It speaks volumes before you even get a glimpse of what goes on behind its sleek façade. Driving or passing by — as we did three times on a local bus — you can’t help but be drawn to its clean lines and sculptural presence. The headquarters exudes confidence and ambition, mirroring the company’s brand identity: energetic, modern, daring, and driven. Surrounded by lush green hills and pristine lakes, the setting seems almost poetic — a place where nature and high-performance culture meet. While public access inside is limited (and we didn’t get the chance to tour it), the sheer scale and design of the building offer a sense of what Red Bull stands for. It’s more than just an energy drink — it’s a powerhouse of creativity, marketing genius, and sports innovation. This is the epicenter of a brand that has turned sponsorship, extreme sports, and content creation into a global lifestyle movement. The surrounding town of Fuschl am See, while peaceful and picturesque, contrasts delightfully with the sleek modernity of the Red Bull campus, showing how the company has managed to blend local roots with international ambition. What’s particularly impressive is how Red Bull has maintained a strong sense of Austrian identity while expanding to over 170 countries. The brand’s energy, precision, and attention to detail seem reflected in the very architecture of its headquarters — structured, ambitious, and always looking forward. If you’re in the region, even a passing view of the Red Bull HQ is worth it. For architecture buffs, branding enthusiasts, or curious travellers, it offers a glimpse into the home of one of the most dynamic companies in the world. And if you’re lucky enough to get inside — even better. Highly recommended as a landmark stop, even if only admired from afar.
Good for a quick stop if you visited Fuschl. The exterior is beautiful, mostly in the Autumn.
Nestled amidst the jaw-dropping landscapes of Fuschl am See, the HQ isn't just a corporate building; it's an architectural masterpiece that beautifully marries innovation with the natural beauty surrounding it. Driving up to it, the first thing that strikes you is its seamless blend with the tranquil lakes and rolling hills. It feels more like a retreat than a global company's headquarters. But don't let the serene exterior fool you; inside, it's buzzing with energy (pun intended!). While you might think a company HQ isn't on the typical tourist's agenda, the views alone are worth the detour. The pristine lake, with the backdrop of the Alps, offers postcard-perfect sights, especially during sunrise or sunset. And the staff? Super welcoming! I had the chance to chat with a few folks, and they're brimming with that iconic Red Bull zest. They even dropped some hints about the best local spots to check out and some off-the-beaten-path hikes in the area. For anyone who's into business, branding, or just soaking up stunning views, swinging by the Red Bull HQ in Fuschl am See is a no-brainer.
I wish I can put 0 star but Red Bull is bad for your health bad for your liver all that stuff
The Sound of Music tour stopped in front of this. Cool building.
I love red bull best drink ever
Very impressive building which blends in with the forest surroundings, making it an exceptional working environment for the staff. The garden layout is well designed with waves of different perennials and ornamental grasses. Very impressive indeed. Red Bull staff can be proud to work here.

6 stars! What an experience! €35 for 6 rides is great and the whole experience is awesome. You grab your cart from the shed and haul it on to the track (they are very heavy), then you get winched up a long track backwards to the top of the slope and the start of the rodelbahn. You have a choice of two routes and both are great. The tracks are fun, offer plenty of opportunity to go fast, last a good amount of time, and offer glorious views. We went on a Friday in late August in mid-morning and there were hardly many others there - perfect! People complaining about safety have lost the plot. It's super safe, has plenty of signs in English and German, and nothing I saw across 12 trips suggested this was anything other than a phenomenal way to spend a few hours.
I can’t say enough good things about this place! It’s not just about the ride itself, but the stunning beauty of the nature surrounding it and the breathtaking views. It’s a really nice slider — we went for 6 rides, split between two of us. The view is absolutely astonishing. You’ll be amazed by the scenery, the fresh air, and the peacefulness of nature all around. Going up backwards so you can take in the lake view, then sliding down surrounded by nature, is simply incredible. Highly, highly recommended!
An exciting experience, the slide can accommodate one or two person ( with a kid) and us a good family activity. Family ticket available if you want to play more, reasonable price as well. Highly recommend.
The Sommerrodelbahn Strobl-Gschwendt am Wolfgangsee is a fun and scenic summer toboggan run perfect for families and thrill-seekers alike. The track offers beautiful views of Lake Wolfgang as you speed down the hillside, and the ride is long enough to feel exciting but still safe for kids. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Whether you’re stopping by during a day trip or making it part of a longer stay in the Salzkammergut region, this toboggan run is a great way to enjoy the natural beauty of the area in a playful, active way! Love it❤️❤️
Very nice and fun! Go early so that lesser people queuing. Ticket can be bought at the counter. Beautiful scenery from the top
We had so much fun here! This is the best place for tobogganing with incredible views, and it's quite affordable too.
The ride is fun and exciting, but it’s not very well-managed. Make sure to read the safety instructions carefully before starting — accidents could happen as many people go quite fast and there’s no proper system to maintain safe distances between riders.
This is a great place that totally worth the drive to. The staff is very kind and professional. We did a few rounds and the prices are very reasonable

Great place to spend a day. You have shade, can rent a board, sun bed, umbrella or simply bring your own stuff. Convenient parking, you can pay directly at the entrance together with the entry tickets. The whole area is very clean and well-maintained even if there are a lot of people. The territory has volleyball, basketball and mini golf spaces. Good restaurant and drinks with reasonable prices as for the service offered. Fuschlsee at direct entrance from the beach with clean water. Also, a possibility to buy swimming suit/towel/flip flops, etc. big pool for swimming and a small one for kids. Friendly and helpful stuff. Have been visiting during summer time for 2 years already and can only recommend (both for adults and families with children).
The ideal place to spend a sunny day in summer with all your family.
One of the best swimming pools/locations I have visited in my life. Get there early to really enjoy the place and train in the pool. If you are a strong swimmer - swim to the yellow buoy about 500m out in the lake. It's a strava segment so go for it!! If it's a sunny day it will get very very busy!
Great spot by the lake with the pool. A lot of entertainment for kids (toboggan, minigolf, corner with sand) as well as for adults (beach volleyball, SUP etc). Prices are reasonable (beer 4€) and staff are very kind and friendly. I was there in hot sunny day and the place was quite busy. However, the facility is well maintained and recommend to visit.
Easy to get to on the 150 bus fro. Salzburg. We had such a good day. Dine there orr take a picnic. Swim in the lake or pool. It was well catered for everyone. Good changing facilities.
Fuschlseebad is a very nice and beautiful place for taking your family and kids with many amenities, but I did have a bad experience with my family with an employee named Biliana. She was overall rude with us and what really upset us was that she would not let in our brother who left with his ticket and tried to return in and was refused. We were told that he would have to buy another ticket. We asked another employee to confirm this rule and she was very nice and helpful stating that people who leave with their tickets should be allowed back in, which Biliana told us was not that case. If it was not for this experience with Biliana it would have received a 5 star rating.
A very clean place with many facilities like changing rooms, toilets, small restaurant, sport equipment rental and beach volleyball and basketball courts. If you are lucky - as we were - your host gives you a free card while you stay at Fuschl. The outdoor pool is a nice addition to the lake, but in the afternoon it's crowded even the 2 "closed" swimmings lanes too, in the morning it's OK. The beach scenery is wonderful.
Potentially my fav place in Fuschl! Great outdoor pool and sitting area. Gym included upstairs with an amazing view to the lake. You can also rent paddle boards or kaiaks and wander on the lake. And if you get thirsty or hungry they have a nice restaurant where you can sit outside and enjoy good coffee or a cold beer. Definitely worth the visit if you are in Fuschl!
