Really excellent place, and worth a visit. History is very well done. Great cafe on site with very friendly staff. Grounds are great for a visit and the donkeys are freindly to pet!
Stunning castle set in well kept grounds. Sun shining today which made the walks even more enjoyable. The interior was well worth seeing. Not too busy which allowed time to take in everything on display. Certainly would recommend a stop here, parking just across the street. Staff really helpful too 😊
Very nice place. For young parents: you can walk around the castle with baby in baby carrier, stroller cant come. The castle is beautiful and the story is great to, good tour.
Well worth the visit; chateau and the area to walk around. Beautiful interior and the history was well presented. I wouldn't get overly excited about the wine it's pretty average, considering there's some really excellent producers/vineyards in the near by area.
Lovely place to visit with a little wine tasting in the cellar, well with a visit! It is worth noting that while there is a lift inside the castle there is still about 20 steps to reach the castle at the start. Also the cellar is not accessible by lift so you would need to leave the castle (20 steps again) then walk around the side to enter. However despite this, the accessibility was better than expected for such an old building.
As part of our recent western Val de Loire tour (south of Angers) we revisited the Château de Brissac, this time to experience the landscaped park as we had previously toured the château interior in May 2024. Tip - there's a special rate for a park only tour and a map available on the château website. Our walk took us round past the stables then up the hill to the Mausoleum. afterwards the  walk to the pont rouge then back along the river to the château. All in about 1h15. Absolutely beautiful and well worth a visit I recommend.
The guided tour (in French) was really worth it, lasts just 45 mins and covers the outside of the castle and the first floor (you can do the rest by yourself). The guide was a good speaker and had a lot of interesting anecdotes. There is a wine tasting in the cave. The park is beautiful and has several long trails.
This is a beautiful castle next to a river. Not as impressive as some others but worth a look. Watch out for parking: if the gate at Rue les Barrieres is open DO NOT DRIVE in. It looks like there is parking for the visitors but this entrance is obviously only for the people working in the castle. Once inside the gates, they can be closed remotely and you are locked in. I made this mistake and had to wait quite a while until a person working in the castle left for lunch. I couldn’t find anyone to open the gates as it was lunch time and the cafe and the ticket booth were unmanned.

Really well put together leisure park for the whole family. The place is well laid out with plenty of things to do for children and teens to burn some energy and for adults to have fun. Go karts and big inflatables, waterslide and pedalos, trampolines and summer bobsleigh and plenty of covered picnic spots with lots and lots of greenery and classic playground offers. Will have to come back to do the maze and the sensory paths! Very reasonable prices for both the entrance and the food offer (7.90 for Nuggets and chips a dessert and a drink) and you can even buy swimsuits there if you forget yours! Visited with 8yo and 4yo and stayed 10:30-17:30... They did not want to leave!
What a wonderful experience! Park really well maintained and the staff is very kind, a lot of activities for the kids, a lot of green areas and shades, options to eat and drink. Riding the donkey , mini trains and boat in the lake were amazing. Would definitely come back. What a pearl. !
Awesome for young children.. And even some things for adults to feel young again. Can spend a whole day here with family, friends and kids. There are plenty of picknick spots and barbecues for public use. Kids run around with the biggest smiles. Water slides, water attractions, donky rides.. You name it. For the youngest and for the eldest children. Too much fun. And super clean!
Good place to spend a few hours with the kids. Plenty of covered picnic benches available and also public bbq's to have a nice meal. The rides, slides and other activities are very varied so something to do for all age groups here. Prices for the food are ok, the food itself is edible at best (don't expect too much). The train ride around the park is not worth the time imo, most be the slowest train in all of France! Takes about 20 minutes to go around, your faster of walking... It also uses a very smelly diesel engine and is extremely bumpy, detracting further from the experience. They kids liked the water slide best, followed by the little bob-sled track. There appears to be plenty of parking available as well. Some of the catering staff seemed a little disinterested but the person welcoming us when we arrived was absolutely great and very helpful. Not sure I'd go out of my way to go here, but as we were camping across the road it was an easy choice.
Loads to do, great fun for families and reasonably priced. Coming from England, it seems strange that they don't have a member of staff managing each of the rides/attractions, but they aren't needed, and this obviously keeps ticket prices down.
A fabulous place to spend hours with the kids. So much to do. Great value!!!

Lovely little city church which is cosy and one can tell that it must have some active community in the atmosphere. I went when the church was empty but I enjoyed that they had live plants along the altar. Simple church for a small visit and moment of peace.

A freestone pulpit, openings with elegant tracery adorned with beautifully crafted stained glass windows (19th and 20th), and a Stations of the Cross are to be discovered. This church is worth a visit. (Original) Une église construite au 16ème par le châtelain, chapelle castrale et église paroissiale, classée en 1978. (Translated by Google) I really like this church, which is dedicated to the patron saint of winegrowers and was rebuilt in the 16th century on an earlier building from the 14th. It is made up of a wide nave, two slightly projecting arms of transepts and a sided apse. A bell offered by the Cossé-Brissacs dates from 1574. Another complete glass roof dates from the years 1532-1540 and was offered by René de Cossé and Charlotte Gouffier.
(Translated by Google) Beautiful Gothic church with beautiful stained glass windows. The interior is a bit messy and in need of restoration, but that actually only makes the visit authentic. (Original) Prachtige gotische kerk met hele mooie glas-in-lood ramen. Het interieur is wat rommelig en toe aan restauratie maar dat maakt het bezoek eigenlijk alleen maar authentiek.
(Translated by Google) Very beautiful 16th century church. Beautiful vaults and above all a surprising stained glass window teeming with animals which is worth a look, above the entrance door to the church. Look for the little dachshund dog in the middle of this magnificent bestiary universe. (Original) Très belle église du 16ème siècle. Even though I am not a believer, I admire the architecture of this church and its stained glass windows are magnificent, I am thinking of going back to visit it.
