Had the most incredible and memorable wine tasting experience at Bodegas Tritium. They’re producing some truly interesting and innovative wines that reflect both tradition and creativity. Ara was fantastic! She gave us a warm welcome and a fascinating tour of the 15th-century cellars, sharing the rich history of the winery and the stories behind each wine. Her passion and knowledge really made the experience unforgettable. An absolute must visit if you’re in Rioja!
I had reserved a tasting here and we were lucky to have the owners daughter give us a tasting and tour. The winery is in a neighborhood where the building have cellars built in the 1500’s. It’s amazing to see them perfectly preserved and used today. I loved that this family run winery makes wine how they want. Using ceramic vessels for aging and bottling. The wine in the clay bottle is cool, but the bottles aged underwater that look like they came off a shipwreck are amazing. We enjoyed the tasting and the bread, in house made olive oil, and salami were great. They make some very tasty and affordable wines. We purchased multiple bottles to take home and enjoy. This is definitely a winery worth visiting and such a great experience.
What an incredible experience! The staff were welcoming, knowledgeable and very friendly. Special thanks to the awesome young man. And the the wines… wow, they were perfect! Also visit their wonderful cellar
You may miss the entrance as it’s very unique 🧐 look for the black door 😆 The tour is very informative and run by owner’s daughter. The price is reasonable and it’s managed as small group with the Eng provide if needed Very nice !
Unexpected gem in the Rioja region. The newly renovated tasting room is exquisite. Breaking all the wine rules this is a place to check out. Ara was a lovely guide.
We loved this tour and tasting! I believe our hostess spells her name Itziel, and I apologize if that is incorrect. She was wonderful. Knowledgeable and passionate about Tritium and wine in general. The wines were great, and the property itself was just old school awesome! Highly recommend!
Wow, we had the best tasting tour. Great hostess like, great winery, great location, great story, great wine. You've probably realised by now, it's great.
Fantastic wine!! Very unique tasting and very friendly hosts. The wine aged in the ocean is transportive.

We had a very pleasant and great tour with our good English speaking beautiful guide Noemi at this Winehouse. Huge, mainly underground facility. Nice wine tasting and good offers (with no strings attached). All the time you need. No hurry. Best experience in wine cellar ever!
We had a wonderful wine tour with Santiago - it was very immersive and educational using all 5 senses - the wines were great and so was our host. Highly recommend to make a stop here!
Noemi was fantasic, it was a very good tour & I very much enjoyed myself. The wineries were very good & the video brought everything together.
I guess I forgot to rate this place back in 2018 but this was by far our favorite winery to visit on our honeymoon in Rioja. We had a 1:1 tour with no other guests. They served us Manchego and chorizo at the end and really made the experience exceptional. When all was said and donex they didn't even charge us a cent for the tasting or tour. We were shocked. My husband and I walked out of there with a new appreciation for Rioja and Spanish wines. (We obviously bought a few bottles as everything was delicious). Napa - take note.
Didn’t join the tour but the ambience at the wine tasting area is nice
Great visit to a historic winery with loads of information and an informative tasting.
Fantastic wine tour!! Guide Naiomi was awesome!!
Extremely rude and unwelcoming lady at the entrance.

We, as a family had an unnforgettable Wine Experience at Marqes des Cecares! We had the privilege of spending three unforgettable days with our amazing guide, Natalia, exploring all three wineries owned by the Marqes des Cecares brand. From the moment we stepped foot in the first vineyard, we felt like welcomed guests rather than just tourists. Natalia was an exceptional guide – knowledgeable, passionate, and attentive. She shared with us not only her deep expertise but also her love for wine and the history and roots of these wineries. Her dedication made sure we experienced not only the fine wines but also the culture and philosophy behind the brand. Each winery we visited had its own unique charm, and the tastings were truly a sensory journey, also special thanks to Manuel at la Capilla. The wines themselves were outstanding – perfectly balanced, with deep and complex flavors that delighted our palates. We were particularly impressed by the innovative approaches to production, blending tradition with modern techniques in a way that honors the terroir while adding freshness and dynamism to every sip. We had the chance to improve our pallets and and explore new flavors. The entire experience, from the hospitality to the vineyard landscapes, beautifully designed cellars, and of course, the wines, was truly memorable. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire Marqes des Cecares team, Kristina, Fernando, Manuel, Karmen, Raul and especially to Natalia, for their professionalism, warm welcome, and for making this visit one of the best wine experiences we’ve had to date. We can’t wait to return! Best Regards Family Čulić
One of the best experiences in Rioja that we had ! I definitely recommend booking a visit or just stopping by to taste their amazing wines ! ❤️
Set in the lovely town of Cenicero where we stayed. Beautiful and historic winery with great wines to taste at the end of the tour. Just six people on our visit so easy to see and hear. Natalia is an excellent and passionate guide and conducted the tour in very good English for the benefit of the other guests. Great prices in the shop at the end. We'll definitely be going back.
Excellent winetasting! Very, very nice and interesting introduction to the wines of Marques de Caseres! Highly recommended to take the trip there and of course to buy and enjoy their excellent wines! :)
Beautiful bodega and a great and fun tour given by Valentín. We learned all about the history of the Forner family and the variety of wines they have etc. Valentín was a gracious host and made the tour really enjoyable. A must do if you come to La Rioja
Booked & paid for a wine tour while on holidays but could not attend due to car breakdown en route. Did not have time to go another day/date as was returning home. Emailed several times to ask for a refund but all emails were ignored. Very bad customer service.
5 stars and not one less ! I’ve been drinking Marques de Caceres wines for years but it was a truly delightful experience to be able to visit the bodega and to taste the wine here directly in Cenicero the heart of the Rioja ! Muchas Gracias Natalia for all the explaination during the visit we’ve spend a really nice time with you 😊
I called to check on opening times. They said shop was open until 6pm. Arrived at 5pm and it was closed. Rang the bell and person told me they had actually closed at 130pm

José gave my friend and I a really nice in depth tour of his winery yesterday. Having toured a number of wineries in La Rioja, this visit really stood out. Not only was it the only bodega that still keeps to traditional production techniques but the tour also felt a lot more personal than the ones I'd done previously. José was a fantastic and very friendly guide. His deep knowledge of, and genuine passion for, his products was clear to see. If you are looking for a fantastic tasting tour of an authentic bodega in La Rioja I hands down recommend paying Bodegas Valentin Pascual a visit!
An amazing journey back 100 years into the original way in which local wine was made. Oddly enough, their wine is still made the same way and using much of the same equipment and processing facilities from those years. They are the last winery in Spain still pressing grapes from their own plots with their feet, at their XV century cave. Jose, the winemaker and son of the owner, Valentín Pascual, was our host for the tour and tasting. We coordinated the visit through email and he was willing to open on Sunday for our visit. Our visit began with Jose opening a stone door in the floor to dip a glass into one of the century old vats of between 7,000 and 10,000 liters of capacity vats which reside under the foundation of the street-level floor. Remarkably, it was the most recent vintage and it was a hugely fruit forward, carbonic maceration wine. This winery produces under the streets around the main plaza in town. A living museum of totally artisan wine production. Jose's grandfather, Don José María Pascual, the third generation of the family, installed a bottling machine that is still being used. They produce one red wine, Valentín Pascual. Tempranillo and Grenache grape selected from their own vineyards with an average of 50 years. Cherry red color with purple hues. Nose highlights aromas of black fruit and flowers, with light notes of citrus. In the mouth it is tasty and smooth and well balanced, with a good body and a long finish. Aged 5 months in the vats before bottling. Much of their production is made into Vermouth at a local processing facility where the alcohol content gets much higher. This was the most interesting tour of a wine facility during our 3 week, 25 winery journey around La Rioja. Just 20 minutes outside of Logroño, La Rioja,, it is a MUST SEE for any visitor.
Insightful, historical, and unique. One of the last wineries in the town to use the traditional methodologies. Definitely visit.
(Translated by Google) We visited Jose Maria and his father's small but very nice bodega with a group of wine lovers. After we visited everything and learned a lot about the history of the bodega and the production of the wine, we were able to taste some wonderful wines and also the pleasant vermouth. This place was a real highlight on our trip through Rioja!
(Translated by Google) It is a beautiful winery due to its originality. Originality refers to the fact that it is the only one in all of Rioja that maintains the tradition of making wine as it has been done all its life. The pressing, the stomping of the grapes, the draft... All traditional. Also during the visit they give you to taste three types of their wines. The owners of the winery are the ones who serve you and visit you and they are very nice, charming.
(Translated by Google) Impressive family winery where wine, vermouth and mistela are made in an artisanal way. You tour the city of Cenicero below, through the caves where the barrels are. A recommended stop for those visiting La Rioja. Thank you very much José María for your enthusiasm and the unbeatable guided tour you have given us. Please don't miss out on trying this delicious mistela.
(Translated by Google) The concept of traditional and manual takes on its full meaning. Last weekend I was with some friends, José took great care of us and we were able to see step by step how all his wine was made. All manual, as before. I have been to many wineries, almost all of them larger, but here you really learn, you can tell when things are done with taste and love. To finish we tried the wine and their vermouth, I wouldn't know what to choose, it was perfect.
