Our most prized tour. Elizabeth, you were so knowledgeable and kind. Thank you very much from the bottom of our hearts. We have been to wineries / regions all over the world and shared many experiences with our hosts. You allowed us to really feel what Rioja is about. Gracias😎🍷🍷❤️
Best vineyard experience we've ever had! 14th century wine cellars, an amazing guide, very special wines at the tasting, including 1983 vintage as well as special selection bottles they don't even sell.. Edu was so knowledgeable and generous! Make sure to leave this winery as the last one you'll visit in Rioja because it makes all others look like massive factories with no personality.
By far the most fascinating winery in the La Rioja region — a must-visit! It’s hard to overstate the historical significance of this place. The underground cellars are mind-boggling — an unbelievable maze filled with centuries-old wine and stories involving figures like Ernest Hemingway and professional bullfighters. Our tour guide was fantastic, and the entire staff went above and beyond to make the experience unforgettable. A truly remarkable and memorable visit. Mil Gracias to the incredible team!
This was the coolest wine tour I’ve ever experienced, and it truly used all senses. You can see the innate craftsmanship of the cellar architecture, as well as the physical bottles resting from years past, smell the fermentation, hear the silence of the cellars 40 meters below street level, feel the humidity and coolness of the environment, and taste the end product that is a harmony of plant, soil and climate. Elizabete graciously offered this tour in English and was so detailed with sharing the winery’s history and heart, which left us feeling deeply connected to the wine and people of La Rioja.
We visited Conde de los Andes during our honeymoon and loved the tour and wine so much that we decided to purchase a case to be shipped back to the U.S. as a special memory of our trip. We were told delivery would take four to six weeks. It has now been six months and we still haven’t received our wine. The winery has stopped responding to all communication and it’s become clear they have no intention of sending our order. We paid over $1,000, including extra fees for U.S. tariffs, which makes this experience even more disheartening. What was meant to be a meaningful souvenir from our honeymoon has turned into an expensive and frustrating disappointment. It’s incredibly disappointing to see a respected winery operate with such a lack of accountability. I would strongly caution anyone from making purchases here.
Fantastic tour, atmospheric place steeped in history and tradition. Expertly led by Elizabete, a masterclass in wine making and wine business. The cellars are fascinating and the wine is really one of a kind. The family owners have a philosophy of taking things slowly which means we get to experience spectacular, historic vintages. The tasting is very special. I'm coming back to taste the 1983 white one day! Highly recommended.
Wonderful experience! The cellars and property are beautiful, the wines are deep and delicious and Elizabete was a fantastic host. Highly recommend if you appreciate great expressions of Rioja wines.
The visit to the wine caves was absolutely worth it. We had great guides (Cristina and Eli) who handed us vests to make sure that we we not cold, and gave us a really interesting and personal view of the wine and the area. The wine tasting was one of the best we had in the region, with plenty of wine and good cold meats. The caves (calados) are massive, and they hold some excellent wine from the old Paternina winery. The history of the place and its atmosphere was very hard to beat during our 3 days in La Rioja.

We arrived during harvest and while they were setting up for a large group. Luis still took the time for a tasting and was a great host. We sampled some amazing wines (first trip to Spain) and this was a great first stop. Would highly recommend stopping here if you are in La Rioja!
Very nice place with a warmful welcome, a lovely wine tasting ... thank you to Carmen and Luis!
(Translated by Google) I visited the winery with my friends and we were fascinated. Ana showed us everything with passion and conveyed all the love, dedication, and work behind the Valenciso brand. Quality and attention to detail are, without a doubt, what defines them most. The visit ends with an excellent wine tasting. It's a wonderful experience that you can enjoy from beginning to end. We'll be back ❤️🍷 (Original) He visitado la bodega con mis amigas y nos ha fascinado. Volveremos ❤️🍷
(Translated by Google) A very enjoyable and interesting visit. Ana knows a lot and knows how to convey her passion for wine. A wonderful tasting of two reds and a white, complete with cheese. It's worth buying a few bottles at the end. The Diez Años Después wine was marvelous. Thank you so much, Ana, for the great time we had.
(Translated by Google) A wonderful experience from start to finish. I visited the winery with my friends and we were delighted. Ana, who was Valenciso's first employee and is still part of the team (which is not at all surprising given her passion), guided us throughout the tour with enthusiasm and knowledge that shine through in every word. Her way of conveying the love, dedication, and hard work behind the brand made the experience unique. During the visit, we also met one of the founders, who was with another group, and we thought he was incredibly nice—it's nice to see the project is still so alive from the inside out. The final tasting was excellent, carefully curated down to the last detail, with wines of exceptional quality. A highly recommended experience, and one we will definitely repeat.

(Translated by Google) It's a small winery, but that doesn't make it any less interesting. In fact, because it's small, the service was very friendly and welcoming. A great explanation of the winery and its surroundings. The tasting was excellent and engaging. A good wine that they clearly take care with, and it shows. Highly recommended. We arranged a tour and wine tasting with Roberto. He was quick to reply and we agreed on a suitable date and time. The tour was very educational and Roberto answered all of our questions. We can only highly recommend the tour and the tasting of wines was superb as well. Prices for the wines are of excellent value.
Although we contacted them last minuten for a wine tasting, we we're warmly welcomed. Laura took her time to show and explain us their different wines. Clearly they have a lot of knowledge and passion. There is a wide variety of wines but they manage to keep all of them high quality and unique. We bought a lot of them to enjoy them after our trip.
Email ahead for a tasting or a tour. We emailed very last minute but we’re welcomed regardless. We had a lovely time tasting wines the son whose father started the winery. Delicious wines with many types from Orange to sparkling and the classic Riojas. Well prices and not Disneyland like or elitist like other wineries in the region. Bottles start at €8.
This winery is run by a family business and is a must visit if you are in the area. We got a tour by the owner, who gave us a lengthy explanation of the wine making process with much passion and dedication. They greatly value the organic production of wine. Very kind people!
Amazing experience. A second generation family owned wine farm producing a range of very exquisite wines. A must visit when you are in the area.
The winery is not bad but the wine is mediocre, for the same price many.
We had an incredible time visiting this winery. Laura was an excellent tour guide and taught us so much about how the wine is made from harvest to fermentation to barrelling. And the tasting itself was spectacular. She taught us how to get the most out of the wine's taste and smell and the accompanying food was so tasty!
A group of five had a private tour and tasting by one of the owner’s family member, Laura. It was the best wine tour I have ever done. We learned so much about the winemaking process. The wine tasting included tapas. The pairing of the tapas with the wine was excellent. Laura was so generous with her time and sent recipes that we requested. This is a must see winery.
