An unforgettable day out – a true gem for car lovers! Castle Combe is hands down one of the best circuits in the UK. Whether you’re a die-hard motorsport enthusiast or just looking for a fun and adrenaline-filled day out, this place delivers on every front. The track itself is brilliant, fast, flowing, and packed with character. It’s beginner-friendly but still offers a real challenge for more experienced drivers. The facilities are great, the paddock has a welcoming community feel, and the atmosphere is always buzzing with energy. There’s something for everyone here: track days, car shows, food stalls, and even family-friendly events. And let’s not forget the food. It’s surprisingly good! From breakfast baps to proper coffee, they’ve got you covered. The staff and marshals are helpful, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do. Safety is clearly a top priority, but the whole experience still feels relaxed and enjoyable. If you love cars, speed, or just want a brilliant day out with mates or family. Castle Combe should absolutely be on your list.
Wonderful place to travel to, if you’re using public transport would recommend taking the 95 bus from chippenham bus station(£3 for a single). Weekday morning will be the best time to travel.
Had a brilliant time here as a family day out. Lots of stalls to look at. Loads of amazing cars to see My favourite was the drifting cars in the track My partner and son got to go on the track and they loved it
Good day out.. row upon row of cars old and new .. lots of merch and food stalls, timed events drifting, racing ect. Its a huge event and alot of people!! Not a good place for dogs but I don't think i recall seeing any. They have changed to entry to the park.. you now park ya car first then pay to entre so there wasn't a long wait in ya car to get in this time!
Drove a Supercharged Ariel Atom with 6th Gear Experience day. Got taken off Track on my 2nd lap (of 6) for a Bollocking, I spun out driving like a Maniac. I was given the benefit of the doubt and allowed back on track to finish my remaining 4 laps which was nice because the policy rules state that if you spin it's game over. I drove sensibly for the 3rd and 4th lap then the instructor freed the reigns a little bit and allowed me to push again (not quite to the levels prior to the bollocking). In brief I was made aware that "it's an experience day not a track day" which as a grown up (which I'm not really) you have to respect as there are many inexperienced drivers out on track with you and it's not just your life you are putting in danger. Despite all of what I've mentioned I had a phenomenal day and a real buzz, and I know more than ever that I need to purchase an Atom of my own and get out on track days with it, so I can drive it like I stole it without the bollocking's 😂. Would still recommend, it's a well run place with excellent staff
Great circuit, good to be able to admire bike up close in the pits.
Brilliant day out .well organised .good vantage points ..will return again soon
Absolutely awesome day it was the first time I've taken my 10yr old son to a car event he loved it! The best part was the drifting it was superb and very loud! My only complaint which is why I only gave 4 stars not 5 is the prices at the food/ice-cream stalls/vans is way too expensive the average price for a burger is £7! I will definitely be taking sandwiches next time😁 Oh one other thing if you don't get there early enough be prepared to wait in the traffic queue!

This was our fourth visit to The Manor House, and once again, it was an incredible experience. We booked the Lazy Sunday package for my husband’s birthday, and from start to finish, everything was perfect — the room was elegant and peaceful, the bed unbelievably comfortable, and the staff warm and professional. Dinner at the Bybrooke restaurant was a highlight, with the sommelier offering a brilliant wine recommendation and food that was simply out of this world (the bread deserves a special mention!). Every aspect of our stay — from the beautiful grounds and serene Italian garden to the exceptional service and dining — made it a truly memorable visit. It’s the perfect escape from the busyness of everyday life, and being only a short drive away, we can’t wait to return soon, especially to try their Sunday lunch!
We stayed in one of the cottages for two nights. At first, this place was lovely. It’s a beautiful area and the house is stunning from the outside. However, I wouldn’t stay here again. The food isn’t great at the main house or at their pub in town. It also takes forever for food to arrive. The Inn in town took 45 minutes to make our food (we were the first to arrive and to order). We had to run to a wedding and they don’t provide takeout boxes. So we wrapped our food in napkins. The breakfast at the house requires a reservation to eat. The food also takes forever and is extremely sub par. We ordered coffees and it took 20 mins to arrive. For such an expensive and fancy location, we were expecting a bit more than we received. We had previously stayed in Edinburgh at a less nice hotel that was more accommodating and timely. Our shower wasn’t working and we told the front desk who said “oh we don’t know unless someone tells us.” Which worries me a bit - shouldn’t you check the amenities at a 4 star hotel in each room? Finally, we had turn down service while leaving for the day. Upon returning, none of the trash was taken out. We had left empty water bottles for them to take, none were taken. The bed was made and that seemed to be the only thing that was done. Again, for such an expensive location I would expect trash, towels, and recycling taken. This was such a disappointing stay. Do not stay here. Find another spot in town and come visit for an hour.
We spent two wonderful nights here with our family, and it honestly felt like living inside a movie set. The peace and calm of this place are truly magical — you can feel it the moment you walk through the gardens. Every corner looks like a postcard. The food was absolutely delicious — beautifully presented, full of flavour, and served with so much care. And the breakfast… just out of this world! Fresh pastries, local products, everything perfectly prepared. The staff were warm, professional and genuinely kind. If you’re dreaming of a true countryside escape — peaceful, elegant and full of charm — this is the place. We’ll definitely be back!
Had the Lazy Sunday package with dinner in the Bybrooke restaurant for my husband's birthday. We had a lovely time. The bed was so comfortable and I had the best night's sleep ever. The room, the grounds, and the staff were all wonderful. The sommelier made a great wine recommendation for our dinner. The food (especially the bread) was out of this world and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Noticed they do Sunday lunch, and as we are only 25 minutes away, we will be back.
I believe 5 stars are not enough to show the level of satisfaction of our stay at the Manor House. Right from the get go, we were met by professionalism by the wonderful girls at the reception. A mix up with the room selection, was handled immediately, with a smile, (with a better room) and with complementary drinks. When this is the first impression, you just know your stay will be 10/10. And it was! During our stay we pretty much experienced the full level of hospitality at the Manor House, dined at the Michelin star By Brook restaurant, had amazing cocktails by the bar's fireplace, walked around the grounds, experienced Castle Inn cousine, enjoyed the lovely autumn colors of the British countryside. Special shout out to Declan at the bar, his cocktail suggestions were spot on! All in all a prefect stay, super recommended.
Beautiful exclusive hotel. Rooms very well appointed and our vathroom was fabulous. Lovely gardens but sadly weather was awful so we couldn't look around. Excellent tasting menu dinner in the Bybrook. restaurant. Expensive but worth it!
We ended our trip to England with a stay at The Manor House, and it was a highlight of our trip; and the best way to wind down and prepare for our long flight home. This hotel and grounds is one of the prettiest places we've ever seen. The staff are also so friendly and caring. The Manor House is the perfect blend of old charm and beauty, with modern touches of comfort. This was our second stay, and is now one of our musts when we go to England.
Completely disappointed. We ended up changing 3 rooms. The first one was completely dirty and one of the devices for ordering stuff was not working. The second one had an electrical fault which kept blowing the fuse. We ended up in a third equally dirty with the first one which was completely different from what they advertise online. It did remind me actually of a premier in room. Completely waste of money. It was a treat for my birthday but they ended up ruining the day. The Thornbury Castle offers a much better experience and is spotless with excellent customer service.

We visit in a lovely sunny day in august, noy crowded , also a bit of normand history lesson. Defo a must visit while in Cotswolds.
St Andrew's Church it's dates back to the 13th century,It's known for It's 70 foot tower which was founded by the cloth trade around 1434.The church houses a faceless clock that's believed to be the oldest working clock in the country.
Lovely historic church in an equality historic old village. Just a cluster of quaint old houses in narrow streets. Really worth the trip if you are in the area.
nice and peaceful, love that there are lots of information around the history of the church
Very picturesque church from the outside. We had a wander round inside. It's free to get in, but with a suggested £1 donation which is reasonable. There's a faceless clock inside which I've never seen before!
St andrews Church is set in the beautiful village of Castle combe. Parking for the village at the top of a hill and would be difficult for those of limited mobility. If you do get down to the village , the church is well worth a visit. It has some lovely architecture , stained glass windows, and tombs. It's a wonderful place and well worth a visit.
The village is so beautiful. I’m glad I could made it. Only a few tourists visiting this place in 2018. I think in the future will have more tourists visiting because the town itself so uniques. I feel like I walked in the village in legend :) wanna comeback again with my family.
Beautiful looking medieval church in the very picturesque village of Castle Combe. Door to church was open and inside on a table were lots of tourist gifts, key rings, fridge magnets, pens, guide books all on display and priced. You leave money in collection box. Beautiful church. Well worth seeking out. Parking at top of village, all very well signposted, and walk down into village. Can't miss the church. Totally recommend a visit here.

Would highly recommend this touring company to anyone looking for a great experience in the Cotswolds. Jon was simply wonderful, and our tour (the southern route described on the company website) was filled with the perfect blend of learning about the area and enjoyment of the scenery and landscapes. When starting this experience, Jon asked us for preferences and things we enjoy (we specified gardens and places for photos), and he did an incredible job of delivering that. I booked this tour especially for my mother's milestone birthday, and I think it will be a highlight of our entire trip. We were blown away by the hospitality, attention to detail, and kindness that Jon offered. The car was beautiful, spacious, and pristine. The ride was smooth and the balance of the day's tour was really sensational. There is no doubt in my mind that it was worth it to book this private tour even though there were only two of us! I'll be recommending to my friends and family for sure. If you want a great tour with positive energy, an attentive guide, and a beautiful locale, look no further.
We are fortunate enough to have hired Jon for our day trip through the Cotswolds. It was the highlight of our entire week in London! Jon was so friendly and really cared about crafting our itinerary around our interests. He has lived there all his life, so he had lots of knowledge about all the villages we saw. He had a great sense of humor and made the day fly by. We toured everything we wanted to and more! Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. He has a really nice Mercedes S-Class that is so comfortable and really makes you feel like a VIP. It was an absolutely perfect day and couldn't have asked for a better experience or tour guide. We can't wait to go back and take more tours with Jon!!!
One rarely has a tour experience this satisfying. Jon is extremely knowledgeable about the area, easy, accommodating, interesting and fun. He immediately picked up on our particular interests, and tailored our day with him to reflect them and to move at our pace. His van is very comfortable, we covered a lot of ground (which we wanted), saw everything of interest, got all our questions answered, and had a fabulous, fun day. Our experience with Jon was top notch in every respect, and we now feel as if we’ve really seen the Cotswolds in all its glory.
5 stars is not enough. Jon was an incredible guide and was extremely knowledgeable. My crew felt comfortable with him immediately and we couldn’t asked for a better guide. He also has a big comfortable new Mercedes van (aka phoenix) that was spectacular for views while we were driving (the van had us high up and with moon roof which really helps viewing while driving through the countryside). Our tour exceeded my expectations and Jon had an efficient schedule to make it a perfect day. Jon please contact me if you are ever in the states and I’ll be back to take you up on that round of golf!
Jon was a great guide on our tour of the Cotswolds in April. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and was able to take us on beautiful country roads to some off-the beaten track locations, and some "must-see" sights. Safe driving as well- which is quite the feat on some of the country lanes! Highly recommend for anyone looking for an unforgettable tour of this area.
Beautiful car for our daughter's wedding and Jason was very smartly dressed and friendly. Arrived in plenty of time. Jason was also very good and quick at answering emails about the arrangements - would definitely recommend.
We hired jason for my daughters wedding every thing was perfect the car was amazing and jason was the perfect chauffeur very highly reccomended
