Good place to hangout with friends and family. There are different cuisines, separate stalls for dessert and drinks. Food was tasty and place was clean.
Marcado de Algés is a charming and bustling market located in the heart of Algés, a picturesque neighborhood in Lisbon. Known for its vibrant atmosphere, this market brings together a blend of traditional Portuguese culture and modern flair, making it a must-visit for both locals and tourists. The market features a variety of fresh produce, from colorful fruits and vegetables to locally sourced seafood, meats, and artisanal products. The quality is consistently high, and many of the vendors are friendly and eager to share their knowledge about the products they sell. It’s a great place for those looking to sample authentic Portuguese flavors or cook up a meal with fresh, regional ingredients. In addition to the traditional market offerings, Marcado de Algés also houses a selection of modern food stalls, cafés, and bars. These serve up a range of international cuisines and creative takes on classic Portuguese dishes, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a quick bite or a leisurely lunch. The atmosphere is lively, especially during weekends, with people gathering to enjoy food and drinks while soaking in the lively environment. The market is housed in a beautifully renovated building that maintains a balance between historic charm and contemporary design, offering a comfortable space to explore. While it’s not as large or as tourist-heavy as other Lisbon markets, Marcado de Algés has a more local, intimate vibe that feels inviting and authentic. Whether you’re looking for fresh ingredients to take home, a meal in a casual but stylish setting, or simply a taste of Lisbon’s vibrant food culture, Marcado de Algés is definitely worth a visit. Its combination of quality, authenticity, and welcoming environment makes it a standout in the city’s growing culinary scene.
Very nice place for a dinner or lunch. well organised and its very good place to spend time with friends with some drinks. All the festival here well celebrated and variety of options available. There is many parking spots opposite and beside the road also. Open until late for drinks only
We haven't visited the market itself, so we can't say anything about that. But the restaurant was just a disaster. We were ignored for over an hour before getting our drinks, and then, to top it off, one of them was even the wrong order. The Aperol was tiny for the price, and honestly, the drinks weren't great anyway. Overall, a really disappointing experience.
We absolutely loved this food hall. It has a farmer's market also, that unfortunately wasn't open In this food hall, you had everything from Asian food, Mexican, Portuguese, etc. the had several bars and a stage which they use for singing and stand up comedy. Again, when we went it wasn't happening. They offer 2 for 1 drinks Thursday through Saturday for after work hours. Again, it wasn't the same time we went. So, the possibilities here are abound. I had seafood and it was great. The salad I had with my salmon was great, the veggies not so much. The grilled pepper and shrimp was really good. My husband had the Asian food and his soup was way too salty. My son had the spaghetti bolognese and he liked it, but I tried and not so much. He liked it, so whatever. We had a sangria that was sooooo good. I am obsessed with the sangria's here. The inside seating was rather hot so we went outside and it was nicer, but we felt the music was rather loud. Maybe because there wasn't too many people if felt loud. Regardless, we will definitely be back!! Hope to make it to one of their many events.
If you are in Alges I recommend you visit this place, it's nice inside, it has good air circulation, it has places to drink, to eat different styles of food, you have a very good Artesani ice cream shop, it's a good place to cool off, talk, drink with friends, important note: During the day it is a bit difficult to know if it is open or closed, there are not many people and the entrance is a bit difficult to find, I suggest you ask someone when you are around the place
Very nice market hall
Great food and choice. Eateries that don't have English menus on the wall beside them all seem to have English menus if you ask at the counter. Only downside is that the music is loud, so if you want to relax more, are hard of hearing or not in the mood for noise, this may annoy some people.

I used to go to Livia’s salon for almost a year when I lived in Lisbon. She is an amazing professional and nail artist. The work done is top notch. I also used other services such as eye brow threading that I was also happy with!
