The place is a good option if you are living in Aviles and want to go relax on the beach. However, the place itself is not that great, there are not many facilities around, not many rentals, often places are closed and the water is not great due to its vicinity to the harbor.

Got crowded in sections but still very atmospheric. Lovely little beach to pass the day. Vendors, bathrooms, and restaurants if needed as well.

Great technical beach. Good showers and toilets enough space for swimming and surfing. There are no life guards from October so go where locals swim to avoid rip tides and under currents. Get the bus there from Aviles evert 15 mins.

It's a beautiful clean place, with great waves and beautiful sand beach, I was comfortable leaving my belongings on a blanket to go in the water, a lot of families with kids, very safe, you take the train with direction Pravia and stop at Salinas, 15 min by foot and you're there, when you take the train back only get on it if it came from your right and it's driving to your left, otherwise you end you not in aviles

It actually is a series of anchors from different types of vessels, an outdoors museum. There is also a bust of Phillipe Cousteau and sculptures representing sails being held down by anchors. Great views of the Salinas beach and Cantabric Sea.
