I love this art gallery. It’s such a joy to know that in the middle of the countryside you find this cultural hub. Every year whilst at our summer cottage we visit the changing exhibitions, and they are always super interesting and have a great variety. However this year I think was my favourite, especially the exhibition of Devan Shimoyaman, as well as the super interesting and wide array of the exhibition about ‘Masks’, also the ‘art path’ that you can walk at the outside area is super unique, beautiful and meditative experience.
One of the best museum experiences in Finland and must also be one of the most hidden ones. Very interesting display Universal Symphony by Keith Tyson ongoing whilst visiting.
Absolutely beautiful place up to world's standards. Combines classic Finnish and European heritage, modern and contemporary arts. Place itself is great, exhibitions are very well performed. The restaurant is highly recommended for the visit.
Surprising find in the Finnish countryside! Great collection in a stunning lake-side setting.
Such a lovely place with beautiful scenery. Art exhibition was interesting, but the highlight was the old mansion and its wine cellar.
From an architect's point of view, the merge between new and old buildings was brilliant. The spaces give a fancy yet minimal touch without taking too much from the art on display. As we went in August 2021 this is what we saw: Banksy's exhibition was still on. A perfectly staged area with lots of nice descriptions and collections. Santeri Tuori - Posing Time. With a beautiful nature dark immersed room and complementing sounds. Jani Leinonen's - The Truth. With a stunning burnt attic like contrasting with a radiant and colorful vitro mosaic window with harsh modern society critics in a beautiful display. The staff is super friendly and nice. Worth mentioning the outdoors, neatly and beautiful gardens with so many panoramic natural views. Definitely recommend to stop by and set at least 4-6 hours to really enjoy the place.
Went to visit the Banksy -exhibition and it was also my first time at Serlachius musemu Göstä. A very fine setting for annart museum with beautiful architechture and well designed and maintained exhibition area. Signage was clear, customer service great and space was well designed and lit. Good curation on the Banksy exhibition which definitely filled my expectations as a long time fan of their work! One star missing for the remote location even though the milieu is super beautiful and all the green areas are well cared for.
Stunned by all the art treasures found here, both contemporary and the classics like Schjerfbeck, Galken-Kallela and Monet. And I really recommend the restaurant, especially the picnic set if the weather is good.

A very nice visit. I especially enjoyed the pulp making section, although it might be easier if there was some sort of captions or a guide for what happens in each step as probably not everyone knows - the process is explained as text on the walls. I think one gets more value if one takes time to do a guided tour or uses all the aids that are at hand. I am Finnish speaking so didn't really ask about the English materials but think audio guides were at hand, too.
Very nice presentation of the history of the factory and the art that they endorsed. A nice group of people next to the still standing and operating paper tissue factory. Not sure about the pharmacy side of things, but great place to live in the past to see how things were. Modern exhibits too, although there is an entry fee rather than donations
Serlachius museum Gustaf in the heart of the city Mänttä. Situated by the lake Koskelanlampi. A very beautiful place and the building itself represents great architecture, classism and functionality of the year 1934. The art collection inside is interesting and full of Finnish history. Worth a visit any time of the year, but especially in summer. Plenty of parking places outside.
It’s a magical place, 2:30 hours from Vantaa! Definitely worths a visit!
A high-level exhibition complex in Gösta. as well as many beloved classics.
Great place, very interesting for a visit. Get to learn the history of the place, as well as how cellulose is made. Has Finnish and English audio guide.
First floor gives the introduction of Mänttä histroy with Finnish or English audio guide. Second and third floor give some modern art exhibition.
Amazing place! Especially at summer. One of the great art venues in Finland.

what a beautiful hotel / art center, well recommended!
Stayed a night at King's room. Room was very spacious and had own bathroom. Beds were wide and comfy. Room had its own little balcony with view to the lake. Breakfast was served at Mänttä's Clubhouse.
Beautiful surroundings, a little dated but considering location etc I certainly wouldn't complain.
Great food. Nice view
Nobody is perfect, but this is pretty close
(Translated by Google) Favorite hotel. Beautiful funk house. Lovely landscape and nice to cycle to the manor's museum and restaurant. The atmosphere of the 30s has been preserved in the rooms. Will visit a couple of times a year. Kids like it too. The tennis and padel courts next door are a nice plus. Ventilation (gravity) is not the best, but opening the window makes it more efficient. It is worth taking a room on the 2nd floor on the lake side. (Original) Suosikki hotelli. Kaunis funkkistalo.
(Translated by Google) This hotel has a very unique atmosphere! You should choose one of the rooms on the upper floor, where you feel like you're in a factory cartridge. The luxuriously sized rooms and the old-time atmosphere as well as the peaceful and beautiful milieu have made me come back several times. The breakfast is disappointingly unsurprising, something that exudes past glory could be added to it as well. The beach sauna was worth the price, even though the new building didn't have the same atmosphere as the cartridges. Walking distance from art museums. (Original) Tässä hotellissa on aivan ainutlaatuinen tunnelma!

Nice seller too 🥰 We bought scented soap. (Original) Aivan ihana putiikki. Paljon kaikenlaista mm. vaatteita, kenkiä, sisustustavaraa ja kosmetiikkaa. Ehdottomasti käyn uudestaan ajan kanssa. Mukava myyjä myös🥰 Ostettiin tuoksusaippuaa.
Very nice exhibitions, restaurant/café didn't cater for vegans.
(Translated by Google) It's worth a visit to see what fun there is. Choosing clothes and all the little nice things for the home. (Original) Kannattaa käydä katsomassa mitä kivaa löytyy. Valikoimassa vaatteita ja kaikkea pientä kivaa kotiin.
(Translated by Google) A pleasant place on the shore of Keurusselä. You can find food, drink and it's nice to shop. (Original) Miellyttävä paikka Keurusselän rannalla. Löytyy ruokaa, juomaa ja on kiva shoppailla.
(Translated by Google) A boutique that sells a lot of all kinds of nice things, the finds of which are interesting to browse for a long time! Especially the products related to home decoration were a nice change from the selections in other stores. I also liked that there was Ronny Gilan's free art exhibition to be seen in connection with the store (both the sales side and the "There are many of us" exhibition)! Skillfully painted and filled with wonderful color worlds, the pictures evoked many kinds of thoughts and it is great that in Mänttä it is possible to see art in connection with a shopping tour: ) (Original) Paljon kaikenlaista kivaa myyvä putiikki, jonka löytöjä on kiinnostavaa selata pidemmänkin aikaa!
(Translated by Google) Personalized clothes and interior items and a happy/nice seller🤗 (Original) Persoonallisia vaatteita sekä sisustus tavaroita ja iloinen/ mukava myyjä🤗
(Translated by Google) Unfortunately, the characteristic smell of the building didn't attract me and I didn't make any purchases. However, the space was interesting. (Original) Rakennuksen ominaistuoksu valitettavasti ei houkuttanut minua ja ostoksia ei nyt tullut tehtyä. Tila oli kuitenkin mielenkiintoinen.
