Super fun. Suitable for all ages but few options for below 5. People with height above 140cm will be able to use all games, some will be for below 110 cm also. There’s shops in all area for fast food and some other snacks. The place is suitable for trolleys and special needs. Overall it is costly but great experience
The Park is 20-25km from Oslo. It’s got enough rides, food and activities to keep you entertained all day. The roller coasters are on the older side but still shakes you to the soul hehe Had a fun day out but the queue’s can be much for the main rides.
Tusenfryd is a charming theme park near Oslo. It's easily accessible with a direct bus connection. The park is built on a hillside so there might be some steep walks as you go through the park, but the view is well worth it. I visited on a quiet day, but operations were still fast resulting in really short queues. The food here is pretty good as well. The ride lineup is solid. Most of the rides are a bit older, but some still manage to impress to this day like the iconic Speed Monster or the Spin Spider. Even Loopen and Super Splash are pretty good and not too rough for their age. Thundercoaster is a bit unfortunate, because it generally has a great layout, but it's become so rough that you can't really enjoy any of it. Now where the park really shines is in the back, with the new addition of the prototype Inverted Infinity Coaster Storm - The Dragon Legend. That ride packs a punch. It is on the shorter side but it is just so much fun. Overall I feel like there is still some untapped potential lingering in this park, but that doesn't mean that it's not worth a visit. You can spend an amazing day here at Tusenfryd!
Tusenfryd is a large amusement park located near Oslo, and it’s very easy to reach by bus from the main bus station in central Oslo. 🔹 Entrance fee: 550 NOK per adult. 🔹 Size & Attractions: The park is huge and offers a wide variety of fun rides. The entrance ticket includes access to all rides except for two. 🔹 Food & Drinks: There are several food spots inside the park, but prices are a bit high (for example, one slush costs 95 NOK). 📌 It was a great experience overall and definitely worth visiting for both kids and adults! ⭐️ Overall rating: 4.5 out of 5
We had a lovely day there. Almost no cues on a sunny Monday, all the rides were open and the selection was so great that the day just flew right by. We brought our own food and drinks and I would recommend so if you are on a budget. Lots of cozy places to sit and snack from your lunchbox before the next thrilling ride. Hint: Easy on the snacks before you ride the “Stormen” though. 😂 This one will really curl you up.
Too many extra games with extra money. Some of them come in the form of guaranteed-win games instead of selling inexpensive items at a slightly higher fixed price. When the water park closed, the price should be reduced. The safety bar of the boat game is not totally safe
Rainy day 5. August 2025, several (4-5 we came to try) of the larger rides where closed or being maintained, very disappointing day, seems that the rides where closed due to bad weather, but nothing serious about the weather besides a breeze and some drops of rain. The two stars are for a very friendly and polite staff. The park might compensate with day 2 tickets, but we will be leaving Norway by then.
Watching The Final Destination is thrilling because you know it’s fiction — until you visit Tusenfryd. This amusement park feels dangerously close to the plot: outdated, run-down, and in dire need of maintenance. We visited on July 30th, 2025, and shockingly, three roller coasters broke down during the day due to technical issues: 1. Thundercoaster – 12:36 PM: The ride broke down mid-run, leaving people stuck in the carts. 2. Western-Expressen – 12:45 PM: The ride was closed while mechanics repeatedly tested the carts, trying to fix ongoing issues. 3. SpeedMonster – 3:15 PM: The attraction suddenly broke down, and people were turned away from the queue. The attached photos show all three rides during their breakdowns. This level of malfunction is not normal. I’ve never seen so many failures in a single day at any theme park. It raises serious concerns about safety. I urge the park’s management to report these incidents to the local health and safety authorities before something truly serious happens. P.S. On a positive note, Storm was an incredible ride — fast, smooth, and a lot of fun!

Beautiful Bridge! Drawing originally from Da Vinci. Aimed to built in Istanbul first at 16. century but never happened due to technical conditions. It was ahead of its time! Great Job Sand.
Nice bridge however if you are on a bike or walking from a cross road position is no walkway but then is no real reason to do so unless your car won't go😅🤔
(Translated by Google) Tried and fine Da Vinci, but he was not to be found anywhere. Very disappointed. (Original) Prøvedet og fine Da Vinci, men han var ikke til og bli funet noe sted. Velig skufene.

It is a pedestrian bridge that connects two areas separated by the E-18 highway with an elegant wooden curve. Its design is based on a sketch by Leonardo Da Vinci for a bridge over the Bosphorus. It is the first wooden cable-stayed bridge in the world and is 120 meters long. Shopping mall
Shopping
Slide 1 of 8
Big Shopping Mall just outside Oslo on the Southern side. All major shops are here - Grocery Coop Obs, Rema1000, Household items Rusta , Nille, Elkjop etc etc and if course Vinmonopolet the Govt owned liquor shop.
Large parking facilities, many shops, airy and bright light, clean corridors and toilets.
Employees are not nice to the customers, they dont know how to smile infront of the customers, to think they are not so busy
An average size shopping mall where one can find a selection of shops: clothing, shoes, beauty, wine, toys, health, and stationery, among others. Parking is made available free of charge for up to 2 hours. A good selection of cafés allows one to enjoy a warm cup of goodness accompanied by a warm kanelboller. Alternatively, there are several small restaurants such as Xa Xa, Subway, Bislett Kebab House, or Jordbærpikene for a hearty hot meal.
Pretty standard mall. Friendly people. Good oarking
Low Coronavirus risk, wide galleries and high roofs, bathrooms are clean, alcohol expenders everywhere, better hours to avoid crowds between 10 am and 3 pm, Saturday's are crowdy.
I like it here, but not all shops have great staff, I will say that much!
This is a small mall but full of everything I picked a cup of coffee to relax a bit

Very nice small sandy beach, with handicapped access. Big meadow for play or sunbathing. 5 to 7 minutes from busstop Nesset.
Nice recreational area with both sand and grass areas (majority of grass). You can choose between crowded areas and less crowded areas but all have water access. During the summertime there is a small kiosk at the beach or you can walk 5 minutes for a larger kiosk with larger variety. There are public toilets at the beach (renovated in 2018) and also two mounted BBQ areas at the beach.
Nice place to bring the hole family for relaxation. Easy access from parking. Not to far from comertial transportation.
Quite nice beach with something remind sand, not that rocky as other Oslo "beaches", water is not very clear or clean unfortunately. I like that there are spots with shade, trees growing almost right next to the water. Very crowded during hot days.
Perfect place for relaxing 😊
A very nice and beautiful recreatinal place, which had a bit everything; sandy and rocky beach, grassy area. Perfect place for a picnic, barbecue, swimming relaxing with easy access and ample parking space. Children friendly and not far from public transportation. Nice trials in the forest for walking and experiencing the nature. Toilets available in the vicinity. Good place to have fun with family and friends. During the summer time there is kiosk managed by local school band.
Nice area! Wonderful sand beaches, diving boarding and alot of space. Green grass and kiosk in the summer. One of the best beaches if you need parking for your car in Follo.
Perfect place for beach tanning, BBQ and walking in nature. Toilets are available and there is also a tiny shop nearby which sells delicious ice-creams and burgers.
