Highly recommend to visit this awesome place. Path to the place is nice, except few areas with huge amount of holes in asphalt. The best way to travel there is by car, but other options like tourist buses or cycling are nice too. Personally I went there by walk from Pylypets. View is awesome during the walk, but it will take at least 90 minutes to get there. Finally, the waterfall. Absolute excite. It definitely worth the way there, even if it was exhausting. I suggest everyone who ll be near the place, visit it. The price of 1 ticket there is less then 1 euro, and the place is not full of tourist crowds, that’s a nice thing too. So, this place is must seen. Surely.
This was the highlight of our Ukrainian trip, the nature of the the region is incredible 😌
Give my regards to Vasyl, the mushroom hermit featured in the “A Fungal Fairy Tale” episode of Hamilton’s Pharmacopeia (Season 2, Episode 7), who lives in a hermitage near Shypit, a village in Ukraine’s Zakarpattia Oblast in the Carpathian Mountains. In the episode, Hamilton Morris travels there to meet him, noting that people from Eastern Europe visit Shypit for summer camping. Vasyl is a reclusive forest hermit residing year-round in a modest hermitage near Shypit village, Ukraine’s Zakarpattia Oblast, in the Carpathian Mountains—unlike seasonal campers from Eastern Europe who visit the area. An expert on Amanita muscaria (fly agaric) mushrooms, he guides Hamilton Morris in sourcing and preparing them, sharing insights on their traditional Slavic shamanic uses, which evoke fairy-tale mysticism and sedative effects. Enshrouded in Carpathian mist, grizzled Vasyl—long-bearded, fur-clad elder—tends a thatched hut near Shypit, drying crimson Amanita caps by firelight. He forages fly agarics through snow-dusted pines, brewing sedative elixirs laced with Slavic shamanic lore, guiding seekers like Hamilton through fairy-tale visions.
Very nice place😍. If you will be in Transcarpathia, I recommend visiting Shipit waterfall.

Spent a few summer days here. Beautiful mountains view and really not difficult paths for hiking.
Had a great time in Pylypets . Went up to the mountain , had a coffee and pancakes at the restaurant at the panorama. Fully recommend especially when the weather is nice and sunny.
Nice and good place to be) if u are the new kind of skiers or snowboard users u will like it) no matter if u are new on the sport or old rider)
Excellent as a start point for tracking. Nice waterfall is nearby.
Probably the only place on Earth with ski-slopes getting worse after grooming at night. Nothing to do unless a 15 in of fresh powder.
Great place for the money for mid-level riders. Has a chairlift and a few surface lifts. Descend consists of three main routes, as well as some twisted forest paths and a freeride location on the very top of the Mountain you get to on a snowmobile for an additional fee, but beware - some skiers got lost and remained there forever.
+ Great nature, excellent place for hiking, height up to 1700 m above the saw level, waterfall 'Shypit'. All-year round operating ski lift. Great local cousin. Low prices. Good skiing provided natural snow is there. - out dated infrastructure, now artificial snow. Bad road.
Beautiful winter in Carpathian mountains

Been there few times, with my friends and with Sergeant Michael. We loved this mounatain, it took 4 hours to come ontop and 2 hours to come down. We met Kung Fu fighter clan training there and Offroad trucks crew. All were very friendly
