A lovely intimate wine grower experience
Called this winery to ask for possibilities to have a wine tasting. To my surprise, the winery replied by inviting me to the shop to because they are here "to produce and sell" and not to open bottles for a tasting. The tone of voice of the woman on the other end of the line was uninviting and schoolmarmish, which triggered me to write this review in the same tone. Wine tasting is a well-known concept as far as I am concerned, for which a service fee is commonly charged. Furthermore, the winery benefits from significant purchases of wine bottles by the participants at the end of the event. If such an event or tasting isn't offered by this domain, all fine. But please don't try to teach your potential customers going forward.
Worst experience EVER! Do not go to this place. She was rude, condescending and unfriendly. Acted like we were bothering her and called us “foreigners”. Made fun of every single thing we did and said about wine: ZERO STARS. Shame on you for treating perfectly nice tourists with money in their pockets like garbage.
we mostly get our wine from there. They do very Bio good wine and it's extremely good. They do take all modern forms of payment. Only downpoint is that I always buy to much ;)
Great staff, very friendly and welcoming. Very nice selection of wines
Friendly traditional Alsace winery.
(Translated by Google) Visit to the cellars by the owner during the bottling of Muscat 2022. Extremely friendly and educational welcome, glass in hand. Welcome to the cellar by Audrey, sommelier, who took us on a journey to the heart of the wines, big and small. Wines that I recommend without hesitation.
(Translated by Google) Although we arrived just before closing time, the very friendly owner took the time to let us taste a range of selected white wines. Coming from organic farming (with label), the different wines offer excellent value for money... We highly recommend! Issus de l'agriculture biologique (avec label), les différents vins offrent un excellent rapport qualité/prix... Nous recommandons vivement!

We had the wine and cheese tasting. Great host, very knowledgeable and passionate. Fabulous selection of cheese and wine combinations. 2 hours very well spent in a great location.
We did the picnic in the vineyard experience, which was such a nice outing -with good food and great views. What was not fun about this experience was the before/after when the staff were quite rude and did not want anything to do with us. It was very disappointing while traveling. Would recommend visiting a different winery that is interested more in hospitality.
Wonderful experience. We did the wine pairings with chocolates. The wines were delicious. Great explanation about the vineyard and the wines. Would highly recommend
We stopped off for a tasting while on the wine route. Ended up tasting 4 different wines each, all of which were delightful, and bought 2 bottles
Good bio wines. Not very nice service however.
We were recommended this place, but walked away empty-handed. The place is a posh looking place, with a very modern interior, but as fancy it might sound, it was unfortunately not the trip's best experience of all the wineries we visited. We were limited on time, and the minimum “menu” they offer is a 5 wine tastings, paid, and it would take an estimated 45 min. Found one wine I would like (without seemed to be an option to taste it) but the waiting time for getting to order was way too long. If you’re new to wines, I would recommend trying other places close by, to get a more relaxed atmosphere. Also book a time and don’t expect you to be able to get something fast 😅 Edit: The owner has added a response, and I don't know who they refer to at all. I visited the place on a slow weekday around 15-17 (can't remember the specific time)? There was absolutely no rush, and slots were available to book that day - in the time we visited. We as unfortunately never offered the smaller tasting, but that option is nice to know. If we get another chance to try this place, we would definitely stop by, and then try again with a booking instead of just showing up 🙂
An exceptional wine tasting experience. We did a wine and cheese pairing in Spring 2023. Every wine was truly delightful. Definitely try the Muscat.
Young and motivated team, excellent tour, friendly staff and stunning wine and natural wine. This stopp was the favourite on our little wine tour.

A wonderful place! Good wine and very friendly staff
Very friendly and welcoming, with some cracking Rieslings. Their crémant is pretty good too.
Very bood winehouse, wines are good and not to expensive. Very friendly even at nine in the morning.
Nice design wine shop, lovely personnel, great wines.
Great welcome and good advice
Great shop very welcoming!
(Translated by Google) I really liked the winery's advertising hall. Excellent variety of wines. Very good welcome and competent attitude. The wines are perfect, especially the Riesling and Muscat. Typical representatives of Alsatian wines, but there is something better than most. I strongly recommend!
(Translated by Google) We came across this vineyard by accident. We tasted Cremant, Pinot Blanc and Gewurztraminer. The lady who works there described the wines to us very well. A must-visit if you're in Ribeauvillé! The view from the top is absolutely stunning. It's incredible how well-preserved the castle is, considering it was built around 1200. The trek isn’t easy—we took the forest route, but you can also take the vineyard route, which is shorter. Either way, the view from up there is truly exquisite!
Gorgeous preserved ruins. The hike is a steep mile but well worth it to see from the top! The view is amazing
Castle in honour of Saint Ulrich is an amazing place. It is the one of the three castles that we can see in its original shape. The ruines of the castle make us to think how many centuries past away. Amazing view from the castle to the mountains and the little village Ribeauville that placed at the foot of the mountain. Anyway the climb was quite complicated and take more than hour to get there. Prepare comfortable shoes, clothes, take a water and be careful to not miss the signs in the trees to not miss the direction that will take you through all the path.
Ruins of a big castle almost on the top of the hill with great views over the village. Take into consideration that you will need to make a good 40 minute walk to get to the castle. As well as there is no cafes on the road there. So get walking shoes and get ready for walking adventure
Easy hike up the mountain. Take some water. Could be slippery coming down if it's been raining or threatening to rain.
hard walk up 500m with awesome view of Ribeauville and vineyard around.
Magical ruin with stunning views! The walk up from town takes around 1 hour, you can reach all three castles with from one path. The path up is stoney and not very easy but it's definitely worth it for the views!
Nice castle accessible with a easy hike (though a bit steep at some point) from Ribeauvillé. Despite quite many part are broken, the castle is still quite big. You can visit many rooms and it’s possible to go on top of the tower to admire the view on Alsace.
