Best ever decision not to take the Highway. Found the museum suddenly and the entry is worth of every kč. Great cars nice ambiente, great value.
very extensive and varied collection, everything kept clean and well documented, friendly staff and spacious catering facilities.
Unfortunately closed, although it showed open for the weekend and this information was updated by the museum itself 2 weeks ago!... Answer to the owner: The opening hours in Google maps were not adapted. But we are looking forward to visit you in may.
whatever I can write has already been said. So I'll just agree: one of the BEST museums I've ever been too. The man at the ticket office was super friendly. I honestly could go there again <3
I found the museum completely by accident. Well presented, some very unique machines. Well priced and they serve good coffee and cake, and a beer next door.
Who would think you can find all car history in a small town somewhere in South Bohemian forests. Plus you have a movie stars Gran Torino and DeLorean. The owner must be very keen into it because all cars are clean, without dust. The collection is getting bigger and every single car has its own text about history, previous owner and sometimes the cherry on a cake - button to play the sound of revs! PS I just love the idea to have a brewery right next to veterans museum. That is like every men dream.
How is it possible to find this gem in the middle of nowhere (Nova Bystřice is not a frequently visited tourist spot)? Variety of American iconic cars (from 1912 to seventies) that make curious even a non petrolheads. And for car lovers it has to be a heaven on Earth. To every single car there is a story (mostly very interesting including description of a journey that had to be done in order to get the vehicle in the museum). The only problem is, that the description is in Czech only (problem could be solved with Google translator camera). Worth recommended to visit.
perfect for both children and adults:)

(Translated by Google) Due to its size, the huge church on the bank of the Klášterské rybník can be seen from afar. It would certainly deserve reconstruction, because it is already worn out and from the south side you can see the ugly wall of the demolished monastery building from the middle of the last century.

Under the altar, three healing springs flow into one - you can find the well next to the church. The chancel is atypically facing the west side. In the interior there is an interesting Tree of Life - a wood carving by an unknown author, dated around 1720.

The guide perfectly knew every detail about the church, was personable and had a good explanation. Finally, I visited the underground, the atmosphere of which was enhanced by lighting only with a candle. I recommend everyone to visit! (Original) Kostel je okolní dominantou s velmi zajímavou historií. Uvnitř je krásná výzdoba s obrovským dřevěným oltářem. Průvodce dokonale znal každý detail o kostelu, byl sympatický a měl dobrý výklad. Nakonec jsem navštívil podzemí, jehož atmosféru ještě navýšilo svícení si pouze svíčkou. Všem doporučuji navštívit!
(Translated by Google) A monumental building easily visible from the main road between Nova Bystříca and Slavonice. If you have a moment, be sure to stop and admire it. During the high season, it is possible to arrange an individual tour of the interior (group of at least 5 people, contact phone on the door of the church). Something about the history of the church: In the small village of Klášter on the way from Nová Bystřice to Slavonice, a monastery of Paulans was built in the years 1501-1507, who came here already in 1491. The Paulans had the task of finding a place from the Alps to the east, where three healing springs converge, and they found this place right here. On July 22, 1533, the monastery was burned down by New Baptists, but after 1626 built again. In 1785, Joseph II. monastery abolished. It was completely demolished in 1959. Only the Church of the Holy Trinity, built in 1668-1682 on the site of the old one, according to the project of Domenico Orsi, remained on the site. In 1674-1675, this unique building in the region was decorated inside with early Baroque stucco work by G. B. Cometa. Until recently, the unique monument in the church was the Tree of Life, a unique and beautiful fine wood carving from the mid-seventeenth century, probably of southern German origin, which can now be viewed by those interested in the sacristy of the church of St. John the Baptist in the Jindřichohradeck Museum in Jindřichov Hradec. The church is also unique in its spatial concept (the chancel is turned to the west - because of the three springs flowing under the altar and flowing out in the well near the church). There is a peat meadow nearby. The church, whose significance goes beyond the Jindřichohradec region, has been dilapidated for many years, today it has a new facade and is being gradually renovated.
