The ski resort is actually good, but the hut is horrible. Also the glacierexpress train is terrible.
A great experience. Two stages - train in the mountain and then cable car. At the top, breathless because of view and thin air :)
There was no proper View from train, but it was fast to reach till 1st point. Where we could get out and also do a small hike till a beautiful blue lake on the way back. From 1st point need to get out and take cable car which was nice. Glass from cable car was lot of scratches but view was still good. Saw water streams, waterfalls for top. On the top, was small cafe. But the view was pretty amazing. We got to experience snow even in peak summer time (August end). Had an amazing time with all the peaks around. Definitely worth going
I will not write here about the cafe at 3440 meters above sea level, because it has its place. If it's purely just about the train and the general place under the glacier, I have to say that I've only been here in winter so far. Except for the occasional crush on the train, it's wonderful here! They really always enjoy skiing here. Prepared slopes, plenty of snow even at a time when many resorts are already closed. Many different tracks with different levels of difficulty. I personally like the black one and especially its beginning from the cafe, although sometimes it is one big ice. I recommend everyone to go here and enjoy the beautiful scenery and great skiing.
Fun glacier that is easily navigable. At the time of visit there were a few blue runs, majority red runs and one black run. Highly recommend the fun park section !
Breath taking view over the mountains and must have hot chocolate.
Beautiful views, but getting to the top on the cable car full of drunk "skiers" is a nightmare. There are many slopes; at the very top, there's a beginner's slope where my partner learned to ski. The weather is always great, as you'd expect on a glacier. The prices at the top are very high, oh well. There are plenty of parking spaces, and it's really worth visiting this place at least once to get on the "roof of Europe" and look at the Wildspitze.
The ski resort is no longer what it used to be. Rarely are all (already limited) ski slopes open—closures occur due to wind, excessive snow, insufficient snow, regulations, fallen rocks, or shifted stands, ... According to the website, the resort opens at 8:00 AM, but in reality, the first train departs around 8:30. A typical day looks like this: you arrive at the parking lot at 8:10, only to find a long, unmoving queue of hundreds of visitors. Around 8:30, the line starts moving; by 9:10, you’re on the train; and by 10:00, you finally reach the top and can start skiing. However, out of all the lifts, only the anchor lift operates—and only halfway—forcing everyone into yet another queue. And this is all for the full price! At noon, the chairlift finally opens, so if you’re there to learn skiing, you can only start then. As for the restaurant, expect extremely high prices for poor-quality meals—just another disappointing detail. Nice views and surroundings.

The first time to go to Pitztal. A lite hike around the lake that everyone can manage. Picturesque landscape. Tyrol is ❤️forever
We were lucky to admire the frozen Rifflsee with the impressive white crown of peaks around.
Cool lake, with beautiful surroundings and plenty of Alpine cows
Excellent one day excursion.
The lake is amazing, but impressions were bad due to a floating staff. Me and my friends were sitting (we didnt know it was a boat) and without any announcement the boat was going away. And only after that lady was asking for payment. We asked to go out because we werent announced about s trip and price and didnt have enough of cash (they use only cash) and time for the trip. But the lady started to scream and was very rude. Afterwards she was discussing us with other passengers which is not intelligent and not appropriate. Very rude. Never waste time on a service like this!
Beautiful place!
Beautiful family walk around an emerald green lake.

Beautiful view and the best Knudel in restaurant
Wonderful 360° view

(Translated by Google) Super nice view of the Wildspitze. Definitely worth it. We drove here specially from Grainau. Really didn't regret it. We were very lucky with the weather because when we went downstairs it started to rain.
(Translated by Google) It's breathtaking. We are here at 3,440 m above sea level, the highest ski lift in Austria and the most fantastic panorama of the Alps accessible. It's breathtaking, with a 360° view of all the surrounding mountain peaks, including the famous Wildspitze peaking at 3,774 m. We went up in summer and the spectacle is magnificent. There were a few people there, no crowds, enough to quietly admire the landscape. To do if you are in the Pitztal, even if the ticket price is not cheap, but it is an unforgettable memory.
(Translated by Google) To the roof of the world. Worth an experience. 42€ up and down. The mountain railway takes you through the rock to the middle station. Continue with the 6-seater gondola to the café with a great backdrop. You also like to pay a little more for the drink. Also an experience as a hiker. With the great sunshine, I didn't want to go back to the other "world".
(Translated by Google) The rear Brunnenkogel (3,440m) is a peak in front of the Wildspitze (3,770m). The Wildspitzbahn takes you directly to the summit where there is Cafe 3440 and a little above there is a 360° viewing platform from which you get an indescribably beautiful view of the hundreds of mountain peaks all around. Highly recommended! Sehr empfehlenswert!
