This was a great day out. Fun for kids on site with the zoo and also mini golf. It was nice to sit and listen to the staff's knowledge of the area and the wildlife.. preservation is key to the work that they do here. All of the marine life were amazing to see, especially I must say the baby skates. Great for families and adults. Easy to get to Food and gift shop on site.
It's not a massive place but is nice for a visit. It has disabled parking, but these aren't laid out wider bays, just 4 ordinary bays allocated as blue badge only. There is a disabled toilet outside the building, but not practical for wheelchair access due to the metal lip at the entrance. Inside it was very worn with rust on the metal rails. The animal tanks have seen better days and there were some with animals inside with no natural habitat, but the layout was pleasant and informative. There is a cobbled path that takes you around the exhibits, and it is manageable for a wheelchair user. Whilst 'accessible' for the most part, this is not by precise design and there are some ramps/inclines that are steep, and loose gravel in the car park, which makes it more difficult for wheelchair users. Saying that, the majority of the exhibits were accessible and easy to view from a wheelchair. There is a specific concession for carers, with free access on production of proof of being a carer. We produced our National Trust Carer Card and this was accepted. The entrance fee isn't bad, and was overall an enjoyable hour. A nice cafe and gift shop.
Small local sea life places beat the big ones anyday, love the quirky exhibits. Really enjoyed the lobsters and octopus, the play area was for smaller kids really and there was a bit of a long wait for food but otherwise a nice little day and great views. Would recommend.
Not a bad little sea life centre with good viewing areas. But it was slightly over charged for the size! Would say it would be better for a younger family as there is a play area and mine golf outside that my older children wasn't interested in.
I first visited this place 30+ years ago, & wasn't disappointed this time either. Lovely exhibits of local marine life, knowledgeable staff and very helpful and friendly. I must give special thanks to Megan who worked in the gift shop/cafe. She was so patient, helpful and knowledgeable about the gifts, with a lovely, bubbly personality to match.
Lovely little place! Fantastic job at helping sea creatures! Lovely staff, sweet cafe. Great for a short visit
We visited on a rainy day and left slightly disappointed. While the Menai views outside the zoo are stunning, the actual building feels quite dated and relatively small. There are some interesting creatures and informative displays, but the whole place would benefit from some investment and serious TLC. The cleanliness of the aquariums and the overall quality of the displays leave much to be desired, and everything feels rather outdated. I wouldn’t visit again.
You can't book tickets on line, we came over on a light rain/shower/overcast day, my daughter love sea animals. We rite by the coast and on narrow roads so be careful when driving here. When I arrived it was busy but not heavy. However I do find disorganised car park attendants. When we parked in the overflow, we arrived at the reception there was a big queue. We wait around 20 mins to get to the till. As soon as I saw the inside I thought it was gonna be tight. There was a good selection of different sea animals but the problem I found was very overcrowded, people crawling over each other rather than staying in one place felt like we did a quick walk round cos it can be too much especially for sensory people. Once we finished, we ended up in a shop, overcrowding again but managed to get through again with 5 mins wait until the till. Then I decided to go to the cafe for a drink, the wrong idea again. Wait another 20 mins for services. I'm glad I didn't order hot food because I dared to see how long I would have to wait. The playground is more for underage 8, the golf wasn't open. Overall it is a shame as it has a good view for seeing sea life but felt a bit old, hazard and lack of service and long wait. To be fair it feels like I waited longer than exploring the sea life world.

Foel Farm Park is a charming escape for animal lovers. You can get hands-on with lambs, goats and rabbits, all of which seem well-cared for. The staff is friendly and informative, making the experience educational and fun. Besides the animals, there's a play area, a cafe with tasty treats (even a chocolate shop which I had to visit of course) and scenic walks. It's a great spot for a family day out, offering something for everyone. The farms appeal is its simplicity and the connection it creates with nature and animals. Overall, Foel Farm Park is a delightful and engaging experience that's perfect for a family outing. The combination of animal interaction, play areas and beautiful scenery makes it a memorable visit.
Absolutely wonderful day out for all. From bunnies to pet, lambs to see, piglets, wonderful staff (especially the guy from new Zealand), tractor ride, jumping pillow, a nice walk and lovely well kept outside space! Enjoyed by all 3 adults and 2 kids (9&11). You can take your own picnic (which we should've done) but food reasonable on site and cakes looked good too. Dog friendly which was nice to include her. I enjoyed the whole day and recommend to anyone with kids. (PS nothing for ceoliacs food wise apart from cake or crisps)
Amazing place to visit with children. Just the right amount to do. The tractor ride ( included in the entry fee) allowance you to gwt up close to horses for a pet or a feed ( small fee for food as you go in). Bouncy pillow an extra bonus. The cafe was amazing, catered for our daughters allergies demonstrating extra care and knowledge, guiding us to make safe choices. The bunny barn was highlight of my daughters visit.
Fabulous! Everyone from our 1-year-old daughter, the grandparents and Even our two dogs had a fantastic day. Thanks to the animals and to the great staff. The bunny barn, lamb bottle feeding, the tractor & trailer ride and quad bike ride are a fantastic editions to what is a lovely farm.
As far as farms go for a Saturday in May with nice weather this was pretty decent, I did however think that the lambs may have been allowed out for feeding rather than just fed through a fence, however the rest of our time at the farm was lovely, it wasn't too busy which was nice and it is a spacious farm, the tracker ride was lovely and one of the better tracker rides I have experienced taking my daughter on, the cafe was nice (we sat outside enjoying our morning coffee on the sunshine) staff very friendly, I think possibly between where the inflatable pillow is and the mini trackers to ride could be developed with potentially a children's outdoor play park with swings etc would enhance the time for the children. But overall a lovely visit and worth popping by if visiting nearby, we spent about 3 hours there.
Charming little farm. Family run, with a decent cafe and lots of opportunities to touch goats, rabbits, sheep and horses. Ideally suited to families with children under 10. Beautiful views from all over the farm. Older children would enjoy the maize maze when it is on (summer months).
A wonderful farm with lots of animals to interact with, including horses, sheep, goats, and rabbits. The tour guides and other staff were very kind and friendly, and we found many delicious treats in the chocolate shop. Would definitely recommend a visit.
A brilliant day out with the kids. The quad bike ride was ace! Kids loved the animals, tractor ride and of course the bouncy pillow! Maize Maze was a bonus too, spent the whole day there with a picnic, great fun and the staff were very informative and friendly.

Went to the seaweed bath experience with some friends to celebrate someone's birthday. Rich explained the benefits of the seaweed and we were provided with additional salts to either put in the seaweed bath or take home with us, we were otherwise given our privacy with a brief check in about half way through the session. There were small huts to change in close to the baths. Stunning views. We were also able to order some drinks in advance. Would go again!
We visited here whilst on holiday. We did the tour and I had a salt bath. The tour was great, very informative and the salt tasting at the end was interesting. I loved the salt bath. Very relaxing 40 mins whilst looking at the wonderful view. Staff were all very friendly.
We visit Halen Môn every time we come on holiday to Anglesey (twice a year). We've previously been on the salt cote tour and this time wanted to try out the seaweed baths. (2 friends have tried them with glowing feedback). Wow!! We were not disappointed. 45 minutes of pure bliss. Immersed in a barrel with the 40° water up to your neck, seaweed is then poured in . You are encouraged to rub the seaweed over your body to help release the oils. You can feel the oil and it's wonderful to rub it into your skin leaving it silky soft. I had a nice Jin Môr and tonic whilst overlooking beautiful Eryri . One if the best experiences I've had. Will definitely be doing it again Highly recommended
The seaweed bath was an amazing experience. You sit in your barrel of nice warm water, the seaweed is added & it releases its oils, your skin feels so smooth! The view of the water & Caernarfon castle in the distance is lovely! So peaceful & relaxing….ahhh! Would definitely recommend & would return if I ever make it back to Wales.
We booked two seaweed barrel baths and it was an amazing experience. The water was so warm and remained so throughout the 45 minutes. The seaweed added a silky oil to the water and left our skin feeling refreshed and pampered. The views were amazing and the staff were really informative and friendly. We will definitely be encouraging our friends and family to go and we'll be back again soon.
Seaweed baths are so much fun! I came last Sunday morning with 3 friends. We had such a great time! Relaxing, fragrant bath with stunning view. All of us in a row having a natter and a delicious coffee. We would definitely do it again!!
Tour, shop and cafe all wheelchair accessible. One accessible parking bay and an accessible loo in the shop. Very interesting tour and enjoyed the salt tasting. Lovely shop. The scenery is spectacular - go on a sunny day if you can. We enjoyed basking in the sunshine, taking in the view and drinking tea at the outdoor cafe. The Halen Mon family own the adjacent sea zoo, which is also wheelchair accessible.
We didn't have time to do the tour this time unfortunately, but purchased some flavoured salt from the shop. I bought the chilli and garlic. It's amazing, so flavoursome and crunchy. I've had it on all my meals since getting back from holiday. I probably will try it on my Weetabix too! Worth every penny, and it will last for ages.
