We visited Monkey Mountain today and we had so much fun! The monkeys roam freely throughout the park and get really close to people. You are not supposed to touch them or anything, but they do not seem to mind people being near them. There are many workers in the park, and all of them were very friendly and offered to answer any questions we had about the monkeys. Many of the workers spoke French, English, and German fluently. Killian asked us if we had any questions about the monkeys and explained to us about the different groups of monkeys in the park and even showed us where there was a baby monkey with its mom. We learned a lot about the park and monkeys from him. It was really hot when we were there and many of the monkeys were taking naps or relaxing but they were still visible, active, and fun to watch. We got to see a number of younger monkeys jumping off tree branches into a small pool of water for fun. There were some newborn baby monkeys visible as well. After leaving the monkey area, there were little talks and activities along the path. There was a gift shop and then an adventure playground where my kids spent so much time climbing around. The park also has a Cafe with drinks and snacks. Parking was free and readily available. Overall this was a fun place to visit for people of all ages.
This place was awesome. The monkeys just walk around unbothered, the staff are super friendly and we caught it at a time when there were so many sweet babies to see. Be respectful and follow the rules... Some don't, which is unfortunate. These are wild animals not pets.
This is such a beautiful zoo. The monkeys are all roaming freely around and the staff is very friendly and answers all your questions. I can highly recommend
A very unique experience. The monkeys are uncaged in open areas. It is a very safe atmosphere. There are quite a few staff members monitoring and guiding us through our walk in the park. We are also informed on Do's and Dont's before we enter the park. It was really interesting to see the monkeys up close and they are also well behaved, doing their own thing. Free parking available onsite. There is a cafe/restaurant and a gift shop present here too. The staff are really kind and helpful.
It's a nice activity to do with children. From Selestat train station It's a 10 minute drive. If you don't have a acres, there is a bus (500) that will take you there . The monkeys trail took us around 30 minutes maximum, but outside, there is a cafeteria and a nice picnic area, and a great obstacle trail for kids, and a small playground. Overall our visit was around 3 hours. Beautiful forest. Stroller friendly.
Amazing place ! There are around 250 monkeys in the park 🤩 Definitely recommend to visit the park it is very special 🫶🏼🫶🏼
Highly recommend! Lots of monkeys to see in a very beautiful and well kept forest. Aside from the animals there is also a really nice playground for older kids and a separate smaller one for younger kids. The whole family enjoyed it!
Very nice place. The monkeys roam around freely and not aggressive like some other monkey parks or monkey temples we visited before. Staff are very friendly, knowledgable and ready to answer questions in Englisg, German and French. We love the park and would love to come back!

Hilltop medieval castle hosting bird-of-prey shows, plus an exhibition on birds in the old cellars.

Beautiful medieval castle and a very impressive show with birds of prey! They display a wide variety of birds, which fly close over the heads of the spectators during some acts. It's worth pointing out that it's a bit of a walk from the car park to the castle. Very highly recommended!
I enjoyed the eagle park but only gave it 4 stars as parking for motorcycles is nonexistent and you are left to park on loose rough stone on a fairly steep slope.
It's a well-oiled machine with an exciting speaker, overall interesting and with an activity sheet for children to fill in. Minus points were that 1/ I felt there isn't any innovation in this attraction. 2/ The gentleman responsible for the children's activity room was sleeping at his desk (for real!), and 3/ the PPT presentation (20 min) was interesting but should be a little more children-friendly.
A really great way to see raptors/ eagles up close. The flying display will educate and entertain people of all ages! A must visit when in the area.
It was very fun for the children. The passion of the trainers was very evident. All the employees were friendly. And the birds can be watch really close, but not beyond the barriere. The information was adequate. The pricing was fair.
Excellent location and many beautiful birds. Do not miss the show here, it's really really good for the whole family.
Great place and a must visit! Their show is not to be missed, but was a touch too long.
A very nice place for people who love nature and birds.

Amusement park with a family-friendly roller coaster, plus carousel, water rides & a mini train.

We took our two grandchildren there on a very hot Tuesday. It became very apparent early on that they were a little old for many of the attractions; they are 8 & 10. However, the water features saved the day, they particularly liked the water slides. There were plenty of places for us to sit in the shade, despite it being very busy. As others have said, the mine train ride was also much appreciated and worth the queue.
Full of Storks and domestic animals this amusement park reminds us that enjoyment can be achieved by simple and relaxed activities. This park is for kids between age 2-12 so it is interesting for younger kids. There are among others, a nice and quite smooth ride roller coaster, a tractor and stork ring and a water area. So, if interested bring your swimming suit. There is also a circus offering small and simple shows and a big free of charge parking lot just outside.
I didn't expect one of my favorite parts about visiting Alsace to be a trip to an amusement park but the decorations were very Halloween/autumnal and we really enjoyed ourselves. We were celebrating our son turning 4 and did something different in coming here. While a bit pricey (€60 for us and him), we spent most of the day exploring the attractions and it was worth it.
Cute places to spend a few hours with your kids (up to 10 years old!). Not to much attraction, but the atmosphere with Alsace views and storks are worth the fair price. Don't miss the circus show!!
Very nice local amusement park, perfect for small children, with the theme of the local stork (cigogne in French). Activities are quite fun and unique. Can spend a good 5 hours here, including lunch.
I quite enjoyed the experience though it was slammed. The waits were often close to an hour each without a cloud in the sky. There was some shade but limited on to nonexistent on a few ridea. Still, my son had a great time and I'd take him back if he asked.
We had such a good time in Cigoland, even as adulrs. My expectations were not high, we went to bring joy to our 4y kid. But everyone was allowed to get on most of the attractions. There's a good choice of food options. The real animals are bringing a lot to the atmosphere
Very nice parc with nice attractions for little kids
