I wish I could give Quaryat Dillar a 6 stars!! I enjoyed so much the tour and I learned so much about the whole production, process and even the tasting. This has been one of the key highlights from our visit in Spain. Thank you Grey for your passion and storytelling - making this visit such a pleasant one. I’m not sure how I will be able to survive in a year from now - once I’ll have gone through the oil I brought back to Canada.. perhaps we’ll have to come back!!! I visited Quaryat Dillar last September and was blown away by the passion of olive oil production of this family business. I got a tour around the area and could gain a deeper understanding of their sustainable production of the oil. The tasting afterwards was also great, since I received guidance on what and how to best taste it, which was a new experience to me. I still remember my pleasant visit when tasting now the olive oil I brought back from my visit. Definitely recommend it!

One of the most wonderful experiences we've had in Andalusia! José is a great and compassionate guide with a great amount of knowledge on the ins and outs of olive farming. He has shown us the fields and the production processes. Despite the olives not being ripe yet, he's shown a variety of photos and videos to balance it out. For the last part of the tour we went back to the fields to sit down for a tasting demonstration underneath some shelter. It was a truly magical tasting experience that lasted for over an hour! We will definitely recommend this tour!

Antonio hosted our tour last minute and was a gracious host. He explained the olive oil process starting at the tree in the orchard and walking us through the cleaning, extraction, and bottling process. His passion for the craft and obsession for quality was evident throughout. We were impressed with the commitment to sustainability. The final taste testing was a treat. This is an award winning operation and well worth a visit.

Don't mind yourself going there for Dracula. There are just a few exhibitions plus this is not the famous Dracula castle. The real castle is somewhere else, the castle from the story and the Bram stoker is based on another one. However for the sake of this castle it is very worth, good price €9. Couple of rooms to visit and lots of history. The town itself is also nice as there are many bars and restaurants. A cool transilvanian vibe.
