One of my favourite beach walks. Usually fine for parking but can be tight in the summer.
Lovely quiet sandy beach, with shallow waters. Sadly too cold for me to swim, but I did paddle. Amazing views too, meaning the waters are calm. Very clean beach also
What a beautiful beach on the Wild Atlantic Way, well worth the little detour to get there. Beautiful white soft sand and rock pools with small sea creatures. The sea was blue and chilly, some brave people were having fun in the water. No facilities here, but that would spoil it.
This was definitely a treat to visit! Strongly believe if you’re the vicinity, make the trip up here…
The only word is sublime. Well worth the €18 entrance fee!
One of the best beaches I've ever been to in my life. So pristine, the sand is so soft and it's nice for swimming. There are no toilets, showers or life guards. Parking is limited but that is not a problem. The water is surprisingly not as cold as the other beaches in Connemara.
Best beach in Ireland...Great views on all sides...beautiful sand and endless skies
Beautiful beach. Not very deep so it's safe for children. The only problem was that the car park is small so you may have to park on the roadside.

What a 5 star diving experience! Best instructor, best equipment, plenty of sea lives, ship wrecks and pleasant weather. We also reach our new record depth. Thanks Cillian not only help us improve the skills, but also guide us to find everything we would like to see. Not sure if any instructor could be better than u. Really appreciate that! A Must Go place in Ireland for diving and high recommend!
First time diver and it was amazing. Signed up for the taster course which included a full day with 2 dives. Was super nervous and I definitely didn't take to diving so well but Cillian our dive instructor was so knowledgable and super patient. Saw tiny octopus, a dog fish, flat fish, other fish, crabs, jellyfish and a massive lobster. Great centre, location, equipment and facilities. We got sent a video of our experience after which is brill and I would highly recommend this to everyone. Beautiful area and I definitely appreciate sea life a lot more. Fish are friends!
Great place to learn to dive. Breffni and Cillian take the time to give the required learning and still enjoy the experience, always felt like we were going at our own pace. Equipment was perfect. Would recommend to anyone.
Loved this place. It's ranked as one off the most beautiful beaches of Europe but I'm not sure it is. Although you need to visit it, its so nice, good sand and cold water ❄️😊😊
I been here few times now... absolutely love this place one of the best diving spot in Ireland. Is great for underwater photography and many more fun things to do...
Great service and value, amazing staff & facilities.
Excellent dive centre. Staff are all very friendly, professional and helpful. Equipment is in excellent quality and condition. Well equipped dive centre with everything you need, hot showers, changing rooms, kitchen area. It is just a short walk to the jetty for a lovely shore dive or to get on the boat. A inflatable rib with a dive ladder makes it easy to get back on board. Highly recommended. Will use again.
It's a good set up with nice changing rooms, friendly staff and fully functional equipment. The views around are spectacular and below water is also magical. Would highly recommend
