Excellent information center on the local animals and the history of the region. It is situated in the middle of nature with the possibility to see local birds that you do not cross that often normally. You can borrow binoculars to better observe the birds and learn about their natural habitat. There is also a conference room and plenty of space to learn, try, smell and discover! Excellent for kids!
Biodiversum Camille Gira Nature and Forest Center: A Fun and Educational Family Adventure in the Heart of Nature!" The Biodiversum Camille Gira Nature and Forest Center, located in the heart of the Remerschen nature reserve, is a must-visit for nature enthusiasts and the perfect spot for a family outing. From the moment you arrive, the building’s unique, modern architecture—resembling a large ship floating on water—invites exploration and wonder. Surrounded by wetlands and natural landscapes, the center offers an engaging and immersive way to discover Luxembourg’s rich flora and fauna. Inside, interactive exhibits are designed to captivate visitors of all ages, and they are especially engaging for children. The educational and sensory pathways let young explorers dive into nature in a hands-on way: they can touch plant samples, examine insects up close through magnifiers, and experience the lives of animals through games and interactive workshops. There's also a dedicated space where children learn about the importance of water, soil, and ecosystems in a fun and approachable way. The Biodiversum staff is welcoming and eager to answer children’s questions, making the visit both informative and enjoyable. The center also hosts practical workshops and guided tours around the nature reserve, where families can observe birds, frogs, and other species in their natural habitats. Outside, a natural play area and walking paths provide the perfect setting for kids to burn off energy while continuing their learning experience. After a day at the Biodiversum, children leave with a head full of discoveries and a newfound excitement for protecting our planet. In summary, the Biodiversum Camille Gira Nature and Forest Center is a not-to-be-missed destination for a rewarding family day out. It’s a place where learning and fun come together, and the beauty of nature inspires curiosity and environmental awareness from a young age.
The museum and its surroundings are beautiful, but it is not so kids friendly. I visited this place with 7 yo and almost 2 yo. I did my best that they don’t touch anything (which is difficult as everything is at their height and reach), but still the security man was following us around reacting to every move and sound my kids made. It made me stress because my visit focused on understanding what they can and cannot touch or where they can and cannot sit. There are more warning signs than actually things to appreciate. So if your kids like to make an occasional sound or jump out of excitement, this is not a place for you.
Nice walk in relaxing environment. The staff is very helpful and the trail is very well marked. The birds are at the distance so we recommend to take binoculars.
Never thought I‘d find something so beautiful in the little country of Luxembourg. A definite recommendation for a detour. Beautiful scenery and well-maintained paths. The building itself has free toilets and itself is very interesting and fits into the landscape.
It's a pretty cool, seemingly abstract small museum regarding the local fauna. It's in DE/FR, not English, so keep that in mind. The staff was very friendly and did speak English. The location is beautiful, definitely worth it if you are closeby to admire the lakes. Wheelchair access is okay-ish to the entry of the building. Inside the building it's fully wheelchair friendly. The paths you can take around the lakes however, are not wheelchair friendly.
Very nice place. They have lift and toilet with table for changing baby. It's a good place for children from around 4/5 years old, there are many activities that they can enjoy.
Lovely place. There is so much information about all kinds of biodiversity. Loved it , must see

Super interesting foundation! Quite specious, therefore it can accommodate many people. The building itself is a masterpiece already, there are also other interesting buildings nearby. The foundation has a large and super bright room equipped with a piano. I would love to listen to a little concert there sometime! I can only recommend, if one just wants to enjoy the art pieces or maybe even buy some - this is the best place for that! Schengen is close as well.
Its a really nice place to visit in Remerschen Schengen. Very nice building in there you could find a lot amazing works from the great architect Francois Valentiny. Also there u could visit other artists exhibitions, concerts as well as workshop. Love this nice place in such a lovely village. 100% Recommend.
Architectural gem in Remerchen. Fascinating space exhibiting works of Valentiny - one of the top Luxembourg architects. We had tons of fun discovering spots we know from day to day life that were designed by his studio. There are also temporary exhibitions of other artists' works, art workshops and events.Worth stopping by
Such a nice place! Very impressive for artists. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
