A really large cave with beautiful formations of stalactites and stalagmites. Unfortunately most tours are only in Bulgaria language and it is forbidden to take photographs; but I did not understand the advice.
We visited the cave two years ago, July 2023, and again yesterday, July 2025. It is worth visiting every time. It has a lot to offer and is a long cave to walk. The guide is also very knowledgeable and polite. Please wear long pants, a long sleeve jacket, and closed-toe shoes. The cave temperature is 6C / 43 F, and almost 100% humidity. It is very safe even for elderly people and children. But consider you have to go up and down the stairs. Don't forget to visit the gift shops along the way back. Very friendly people and good things to purchase, whether it's food or souvenirs. I highly recommend this place and I'll visit again.
You have to drive through a breathtaking and awe inspiring gorge with roaring water and very high walls filled with trees that seem to grow vertically on the rock surface. The cave itself is amazing and awe-inspiring and you can take a 45-minute walking tour with a guide that will answer all questions in English and will also give you a very detailed pamphlet with all the information concerning the route. You will see amazing formations of stalagmites and stalactites pillars of the aforementioned united, curtain type formations, even cave pearls!!!. It is only 12lv per person and cheaper for children. Alles photographs are not allowed inside but you will remember it for life. That is also restaurant and many stalls with local produce like honey and also souvenirs. Parking will not be a problem.
It was great! Definitely recommend it. The tour is taking about 40mins and you walk about 1km. You enter from one point and exit through another. The cave ks beautiful and the story of the cave is also interesting. The road to get there is super pretty but a bit challenging.
One of the biggest and most beautiful caves in the country. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. Guided tours run every hour, and the full walk through the cave takes about 50 minutes. The temperature inside stays at a chilly 6°C year-round, so be sure to bring a jacket.
very big groups during holidays, up to 50 persons.
Impressive and worth the visit. Thr nature around is amazing as well. Allocate some time to tour around and spend time in the nature
Nice to See. Entry is allowed every full hour.

First of all, take the jeeps that do the off-road path to the view. This just makes the whole thing so unbelievably better and is such a joy. It's really fun and you get to appreciate and see the whole trip until the view with music and the wind pleasantly hits you. Of course the view is also really beautiful. You can see really far and a big part of the mountain range and it is just a vibe to chill at.
Beautiful view. Very hard way up . with jeep. Jeep costs 100 lev The driver, Osman, was very careful and knowlegable. Recommend
Eagles eye is accessed by 4 x 4 vehicles. You can take a ride for 12 euro per person with many of the drivers, most of the vehicles are sturdy Toyota land -cruisers, these drivers and vehicles have my respect. During the summer, the vehicles are open top, and you can stand up and hold on to the roof bars if you have good balance. The drive up to Eagles' eye is breathtaking, and you see birds and a vast array of pine trees, herbs, and amazing landscapes. You can stop and take photos. The drivers are very patient and helpful. When we reached the top, it took my breath away, see my photos and video as I was unable to find the words for its beauty. We tipped the driver at the end, and these drivers have big vehicle maintenance bills and charge little. Our driver asked if we would like to stay for sunset, which was 30 minutes more. He took photos of us and explained where Greece, the Perin and Rila mountains were. He tried hard to speak English, I spoke enough Bulgarian to get by as I lived here for many years, but my Spanish speaking guests spoke some English and appreciated his help. I would recommend a trip to Eagles eye as the views are incredible.
We chose to hike to the top. It took us like hour and a half with lots of stops for pictures. I advise having good shoes, it's very rocky path!
If only i had known i could walk.. never mind i took a truck and that was a great experience the road up is really crazy!! You can walk from jagodina , the walk down takes about 40min. The views are really beautiful
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The Eagle’s Eye Trail in Yagodina is a must-do! A medium-to-hard climb, but every step is worth it for the jaw-dropping panoramic views from the platform. An unforgettable Rhodope Mountains experience!
Amazing view! You have to arrive on a day with good visibility. You hire a driver with a jeep who drives you for half an hour on a challenging and bumpy road... You reach the top of the mountain and overlook the area like eagles🦅
The efect of the balcony at about 1500m, hundreds of meters above the forest and the nearby towns is probably what a real eagle would see, so it is a well named place. You can go walking or by jeep, and then you don't want to go back!
