One of my favorite wineries in all of Spain. All the wines are delicious and I especially love the reds. They are doing wonderful things with local grape varieties and the bottling is beautiful. Their tasting experience is top of the line. Highly recommend visiting here if you get the chance.
We had a blast! Emma was very good in her explanations, very knowledgeable and making it easy to understand and follow! Very well explained and an amazing tasting! Highly recommended if you want to learn more about Penedes wines! We tasted up to 5 wines with excellent cheese pairings!
I've done quite a few vineyard tours & tastings throughout the world (Australia, France, Spain & more) and this was up there with the best. We opted for the vineyard tour and wine & cheese pairing, the tour was super interesting and the wines and cheese were all delicious. A special mention to our guide Marta who was incredible! She was so knowledgable but also super friendly and really good fun, her English was also exceptional!
What an amazing way to spend a few hours. Extremely interesting history, friendly staff and great wine. Highly recommended.
We had a wonderful wedding at jean Leon. It was out of this world. Was a magical place
What I would call to be a boutique winery nice and small but owned by the giant company Torres we entered a new modern building and they certainly have some great artifacts of Jean Leon and the display of the wines and photos are amazing. We taste tested some of the wine with cheese, olives and crackers and it was a very enjoyable trip and our guide was very knowledgeable which always makes these guided tours more enjoyable.
Great experience on our wine tour this was one of our stops. Love the video to learn Jean Leon's story great information. Tried the 2013 Reserved Cabernet Sauvignon. I really like the experience & I wanted to love the wine but it was not for me.
Unprofessional and rude, cancelled just hours before the visit. They first called us that the tour we booked in English is actually in Spanish and we can't go because they don't like translations. Then we said that it's ok in Spanish and they called later again just to cancel completely. We are travelling with sommelier from very far away and we are speechless from this situation.

Fantastic tour of winery. Our guide Matilda was amazing. Ancient history this vineyard started in 1950s though. Get a tour super affordable and worth it!! 3 hours including full tour of winemaking process, going from cellars to boxing. Then we had a 4 wine tasting and tapas within their ancient wine house.
Best winery I’ve ever been to. I’ve been to plenty around the world and this one took the cake. The wine tour and tasting was incredible. Matilde was very in depth and very polite. The tasting was amazing, they refill your glasses constantly and bring out incredible tapas as well. Must go here when in Barcelona
The most modern winery in Penedès back in the 50s, so amazingly retro! An actual time travel machine. While the winery was modernised in the 50s, they actually go back all the way to the 11th century. So when you’re visiting their beautiful stone manor house and cellars, you can admire the Visigoth, Romanesque, and Gothic styles, and even some battle scars and bullet holes from the times of the Reconquista. It’s now owned by Freixenet but it’s managed to keep that more personal approach to visitors. We did a tour followed by a brunch paired with 5 sparkling and still wines, including the highly acclaimed (and intricately bottled) Reserva Heredad Cava. Penedès offers great value for money and that’s a case in point - EUR 32.
Fantastic winery. The staff are amazing and extremely knowledgeable. The winery itself us stunning and I highly recommend. Very good value for money.
Most educational wine tour I think I have ever done , we did a private tasting with Matilde , absolutely amazing, she is so knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about the industry .
I would highly recommend visiting this winery when you are in Penedes. Our visit was very informative and we were received and guided by very friendly and knowledgeable guides who all were passionate about their product. It truly felt like being a guest. You can learn a lot especially about the process of making sparkling wine (Cava) which is very interesting and impressive. Of course tasting the product is a great experience as well.
We enjoy Segura Viudas cava on a regular basis in the U.S. and were excited for the possibility of actually visiting the winery while we were in Barcelona for a few days. We checked their website for hours of the wine bar, figured out the train from Barcelona to the closest town, got there and took a taxi that cost 20 Euros to get there, it was a Monday at 2:30 p.m.and they were closed!!! No explanation and even the security guard didn’t know anything. So disappointed!
This very tastey sparking wine is very unique to the palate .. wonderful pleasing off dry flavor at such a reasonable affordable price for all 👍
