We went to the mountain cart. Excellent experience, go for adrenaline. Spectacular views, very nice hiking trails, there is a lake near by.
Went here since the ride on the cable car was included in our Innsbruck Welcome Card 👏 Easy to reach by car and there was plenty of parking! Great tour and the view on top was magnificent 👌 Playgrounds for the kids, restaurant for a cold drink or snack and lots of hiking and mountain bike trails down hill 👏
Easy accessible mountain cable car ride. The parking was not really clear since you can only buy a full day ticket. We had free acces due to our Innsbruck Plus card (more than 3 nights stay with selected accomodation) and got to the top to take a small hike. Outside of ski season it is very popular to take a mountain cart or mountain bike downhill.
We went in July (summer) using our welcome pass to access the gondola for free. Side note: the welcome pass is such a cool initiative by Innsbruck (free transport, discounts off activities and 4 gondola rides on the lesser known cable cars) we received our passes through our accommodation the day we arrived :) we took a bus and then transitioned into a tram for most of the journey up the mountain (stunning views along the way) then a short walk to the gondola/cable car. From the peak, walk up a steep hill which leads you to a lake overlooking the mountains, you then pass by cows grazing and end up back at the gondola in a 30 min round trip. So beautiful. Many other trails around but we only did the one.
Great walk. Up very steep gravel and rocks. Not for beginners and not great if you are not used to altitude
Used to be my favourite bike park but it’s lost something recently. You used to be able to buy 2-3 hour tickets. Now the min is 4 hours so everyone is forced to pay a higher price. On top of that the prices go up every year. For that higher price you think you’d get more? No, the opposite. The Götzens trails aren’t even accessible this year. So pay more and receive less is the motto. Sad that it’s become like this. Still a great place to ride but the value is no longer there.
Incredible views, warm cozy restaurant at the top, and fun cable car experience for the kids. There’s mountain bike paths and go carts for the kids to ride.
Actually a great place, awesome view and well located but... Carpark: they sell only full 10€ tickets no half-day or hours-ticket + XXL stupid regulation to refund parking tickets only between 8:30 - 17:00 Bikepark: they charge full ticket prices although only 60% of bike trails were opened... Sad but normal game of capitalist monopolies

Lovely church. The church was first mentioned in documents in 1327. After 1440, a larger church was built, which was consecrated in 1469. It was expanded in 1510 and baroqueized in the mid-18th century. The Late Gothic nave is followed by a retracted polygonal choir, the Gothic tower with a high pointed gable helmet and the sacristy in the south. On the south side of the tower is a sundial created in 1736 and around 1759 by Peter. The interior is decorated with rich rocaille stucco and ceiling frescoes by Anton Zoller and Josef Anton Zoller from 1759.

It was first mentioned in a document in 1327, was enlarged between 1440 and 1469 and redesigned in baroque fashion. On the south side of the tower there is an old sundial from the 18th century. Very beautiful church with a pointed green tower and a well-kept cemetery. Definitely worth a visit!

It's open on Thursday mornings (you can also reach it by phone) and is on the first floor above the library, for everyone who wanders around like me ;) (Original) Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiterin, die sich viel Mühe gibt und auf wünsche eingeht.
