What a road! Very beautiful, but it depends on the weather. In the valley, can be sunny and warm, but up there , can be cloudy, foggy, windy and you are freazing and cannot see anything . It costs you 40 euros to enter this road. There is a paytoll ,no toillet at the entrance, probably there is one on the other side of the road, but no sign,we cannot find it.
The place is wonderful but the road up to the top by car could be really crowded. We queued about 1 hour. It was worth it altough :)
An amazing spot to take in the view whilst travelling the Grossglockner. Definitely worth the slight detour off the main road onto the paved section.
Great location to visit on your driving trip on the Grossglockner High Alpine road. The panoramic viewpoint at the top is just a few steps from the parking lot. There is an adjacent shopping store and a restaurant nearby with a great view of the High Tauern mountains of the Austrian Alps. As always, make sure to have enough gas (or charge) in your car before leaving Fusch or Hellingbut, the last stops before high alpine road. This is the highest point on High Alpine Road.
One of the nicest bike trips in my life.Last 1,6 km is true hell but rewarded with spectacular view.
Unbelievable place, breathtaking! Highly recommend to visit! It's pricey though, 40 € per car. But worth it to enjoy the view from the top!
very nice Alpen location,,GREAT
