Our experience at Wicklow Equitours was incredible. As horse enthusiasts, we found it to be a perfect blend of safety and adventure. For first-time riders, the staff ensured a comfortable and enjoyable experience, while experienced riders enjoyed breathtaking views and well-trained horses. The friendly staff and picturesque farm setting added to the charm, making it a memorable day for all. Highly recommended for horse lovers of all levels!
Wonderful people to trust getting onto a horse for a trek. Simone was amazing in answering our questions and concerns since we had 2 kids who had never been on horses and Michael was just an amazing guide on the trek. They absolutely are dedicated to the horses and making sure the treks are safe for horse and rider. I would absolutely go on a trek with them again, and recommend them to anyone who's ridden or who has never been. We had Guiness, Snowflake, Ms Grey, etc...and they were amazing. The trek we were on was gorgeous and calming. Definitely recommended!!
So, when we got here, there was a surprise inspection by some government officials (I think they were from the food and agriculture department). So the tour started late. There were no clear instructions on where to park. Once we met the instructors, who were both very new, there was not much instruction on how to handle to the horses, which was an issue since this was supposed to be a trek for all levels. The rest of the ride went without incident, but the horses were hard to control and were not very well groomed.
Forest riding. No experience. My first experience in life was amazing. It was a very memorable experience full of memories. Christine took me and my friends into the forest. My horse's name is princess. My friend's horse is named blue. Christine's horse is Messi. They are all very beautiful. (But to be honest, I really want to ride Christine’s white horse. Hahaha) There was a little rain yesterday and then it became foggy. That feeling of relaxation in the forest and the tension of riding a horse all at the same time. My friends and I hardly dared to talk for fear of shocking Blue and Princess. But they are very stable. If you are really scared, please don't take it to heart, it is very quiet in the forest. Nature and the chirping of birds will make you let go of all your worries. At the beginning, the uncle was repairing the horseshoe. Although we waited for a while, seeing the horseshoe being repaired on the spot was very relaxing. Uncle, Christine and the others are all very nice people, very kind and friendly. I like them very much. I really hope to meet them again, but unfortunately I have to return to China. I will miss you all. I will also tell my friends to try horse riding. This was the best experience I had in Ireland. Friends, life in Dublin is very monotonous, come and enjoy a different experience! ! ! ! (To be honest, I fell in love with riding and Christine. Her smile is unforgettable. She is very skilled, polite and really handsome when she is off the horse.) Note: Never stand directly behind a horse! ! ! ! ! This is very dangerous. Reminder: It is best to bring Go Pro, etc. Otherwise you will rarely record your scary and exciting moments. Ha ha ha ha.
Fantastic experience on the forest trek today. Beautiful scenery and I got to ride the loveliest horse called lady. Staff are so friendly. Looking forward to going back.
"We had an amazing time at Wicklow Equi Centre! The staff (Martine) were very friendly and accommodating, and the trek itself was breathtaking. It was the perfect way to spend quality time with my fiancee and son. We can't wait to go back for another adventure!"
Great day with horses. Even for people who don’t know how to ride. Is lovely tour around Wicklow forest 🌳 I went with my 9 year old daughter. We have super day. Is not lessons though. I lot of dogs so good idea bring snacks not only for the horses 😅
Thanks Amelia and Michael for today. We had a wonderful time. My wife's first time on a horse today so naturally she was a little nervous. The guys in Wicklow Equi Tours were so professional that before both of us knew it we were on the horses and half way along the forest track. Great time. We'll be back.
