The best farm of any kind that I and my partner had visited across Western Europe. We booked the 4pm appointment, with a complement of 7 visitors. Paco is the enthusiastic guide (and owner) who gave an informatic lecture on alpacas, his journey into this endeavour, his achievements and the uses for alpaca fibre. Next, each visitor was assigned an alpaca to walk (on leash,) and we were armed with carrot sticks to encourage our newly minted furry friends to walk along with zest. We were also given the opportunity to feed a herd of adult and juvenile alpacas. Pilar gave an interesting description of the many steps on how alpaca fibre was treated before being spun into yarn. The tour ended with a game of guessing the alpaca fibre from a tray of various fibre (including wool, cotton, yak, etc). There were merchandise to purchase at the end of the tour. Though me and my partner do not speak Spanish, Paco took great pains to engage my partner and to answer her questions. Pilar has a great sense of humour. The visit had been an eye-opener, but the most heartwarming matter is the hospitality of Paco and Pilar. We will come back again at the drop of the hat. Adios!
(Translated by Google) What a wonderful day we had! It was a wonderful experience getting to know these magnificent animals a little better. Pili and Paco do a fantastic job with the alpacas, and the talk, the walk, and feeding the alpacas were all very fun and educational. I highly recommend this visit if you're spending a few days in Cantabria.

(Translated by Google) I went with my family, and the truth is that the six of us loved this experience. It's something I recommend, and will continue to recommend to everyone from now on. Alpacas de la Tierruca is a personal project by Paco and Pilar that started in 2023 (I think), and it's clear that everything is done with care and love. The alpacas are super adorable and kind, and they're very well cared for. (Translated by Google) We loved visiting the alpacas; they're so cute and adorable. The love this couple puts into what they do also makes you love everything. The entire wool-making process and the stories they tell are incredibly interesting. It's always a pleasure to learn about things you don't know, and even more so when it's with this kind of devotion! (Original) Nos ha encantado visitar a las alpacas, son muy graciosos y adorables. (Translated by Google) We were a group of 18 people (10 adults and 8 children) and we were amazed by the visit: collecting blueberries, contacting the donkeys to feed them, brushing them and riding them. We also went to the chicken coop to feed the chickens and then the goats; And in addition to all this there is a native forest where you can see animal skeletons, it seemed like we were in Costa Rica. After the spectacular visit in which we were all delighted and in love with the views, they gave us to try their delicious blueberry jam and the homemade cake, everything was delicious!! Miguel Ángel's attention was exceptional, very kind and charming. Totally recommended, don't miss it!!! Greetings from Mazarrón (Murcia). Después de la espectacular visita en la que quedamos tod@s encantados y enamorados con las vistas nos dieron a probar su rica mermelada de arándanos y el bizcocho casero, riquísimo todo!!
