Amazing experience, very authentic feeling. Inside the mine if feels like the miners have just left. Does not feel like "tourist attraction". Very professional guiding. Expect to get your shoes dirty and some dripping water on your head- but this is important part of overall experience. BTW, we went there with our 2.5 years old daughter and she really enjoyed inside the mine. Even though at the end she fell into mud puddle, it was a lot of fun for her. Riding a train could be quiet noisy and dark. So be sure that your kids are comfortable in dark, narrow and cold (ca. 8 degrees celcius)... dungeons :)
Did a tour which was very nice! Old guy. Didn’t understand a word he said. I speak a little German but it might’ve been his accent. Saw a lot of fluorite and quartz in the mine! It was cold, but with a few layers totally fine. The tour was about an hour. Even cooler was the stones you can buy at the ticket-window. Beautiful little gemstones for 50 cent and 1 euro. And there were more, higher-priced beauties at the restaurant inside to buy. Bought four of those, very cheap compared to the netherlands. It was all good vibes.
Definitely worth a visit, for adults and children alike. The guide was teeming with knowledge about the mine, its history, and mining in general.
Very Nice experience! The guide only speak German but still it was very okay. Very friendly ticket salesman, he spoke english and loved to answer All our questions. The food looked very nice. You can buy Stones from the mine for 1 euro.
(Translated by Google) A superb afternoon with a fantastic tour. Unfortunately, the restaurant's kitchen closed at 3:15 p.m. (according to the website, it was 3:30 p.m.), and we would have liked to have a bite to eat after our mine visit. What we saw the guests eating before the tour looked so delicious. What a shame. Schade
(Translated by Google) A beautiful day trip destination, totally fair in price, and you get a pleasant and informative one-hour tour. There were also more tours than the website actually said, so we didn't have to wait. Great! It's always about 8°C in the mine, but that's also stated on the website, so don't forget a warmer jacket ;) (Original) Schönes Ausflugsziel, preislich total fair, man bekommt eine nette und informative Führung über eine Stunde.
(Translated by Google) A very enjoyable 1.5-hour guided tour, including a ride on a mine locomotive into the tunnel. Very detailed and interesting for only €10 per person. You get to see a lot of the tunnel. Afterwards, there's a nice little exhibition in the building. Highly recommended! Good luck!
(Translated by Google) I crossed an entire country to see this mine, and I certainly wasn't disappointed. I just regret skipping German class. :) It's very interesting and well explained. You'll find different minerals, like fluorite. A passionate guide will lead the little train that will take you inside!
