Excellent walk along amazing cliff tops with fabulous views along the way. Well marked route and helpful walkways if there's been bad weather. No people!
Multiple walks in the area. Can be windswept and wet, so plan your gear and which route accordingly. On a dry clear day, amazing views. Start in the village, there's a centra for snacks to stock up on. Posts with arrows mark the way.
Free Walking trail. Views were amazing and luckily we were there on a dry sunny day. Definitely recommend hiking boots or athletic sneakers. The chances of stepping in sheep scat is great. It took us about 4 hours to do 13 km here. Bring lots of water.
Nice walk with beautiful view off the area. Would recommend the long to the top.
This is a true hidden gem. One of the loveliest walks I've done in many a long time. Someone else on here called it the best walk in Ireland. Whilst perhaps this is a little hyperbolic, it sure was fantastic today. Really helped by the great, dry, warm weather we are having. 22°C ish today, bright sunshine, 🌞, dry turf underfoot. The views in places are truly spectacular. High sea cliffs, deep blue water, not a soul to be seen. Today, we met ONE other person on the way round. Real escapism. Great exercise. Lovely views. Fresh air. A real sense of achievement! What else could a person want! Highly recommended. Be sure to drink in the views. Some of the loveliest in Ireland. And no hordes.
What an experience! Totally loved climbing high above the ocean on the cliff edge. Came across "Eire 63" written with big coloured stones on the grass just near one of the cliffs. Is it for helicopters? Also saw someone is rebuilding a look out tower just on the edge. Saw fishing twawlers below is that looked like tiny dots in the ocean. Even the seagulls were flying below us. So glad we did the walk and so glad I had my inhaler. Definately not for the faint hearted as there is a lot of adrenaline moments to be had. We were very fortunate that we had fantastic weather 28 to 30 degrees. Went for a swim in the sea after to cool down. Highly recommended.
Pictures and videos don't place any justice, views from the outset. Lovely coastal walk. Few places are a bit of a climb but mostly fine. Boggy in places so waterproof boots a must.
Fab walk very well marked out, great to see toilets start of walk. Spectacular coastal sceenery un spoilt great views throughout. Very good terrain underfoot; good four hours walk if you want to stroll and take in the sights. Definitely recommend if you are looking to get out and away from it all. Mary and Joe
