We love this place! Excellent food and service and great wine selection. Bonus: dogs allowed. UPDATE: the restaurant never disappoints. The menu is not extensive but the food is fresh and delicious. The cheese trolley is huge and has an amazing selection. Service is friendly and attentive.
I went there during the last Champaign weekend and I can tell it has potential to be an excellent place to rest, there is only a few details that I didn’t really understand, the fact that the schedule for the use of swimming pool, spa, etc.. was very limited till the point you can’t use it. In bedroom’s terms, I understand it is not a pretty luxury place and not so modern neither, quality of furniture is old and bathrooms could be make over for sure… they could look cleaner. With the food I honestly felt that it was not fresh most of the time and it’s a shame.
Beautiful hotel. Rooms look good, clean. Close to charming villages although the village which it’s situated in itself is empty. Restaurant has tasty food, but choice is little and portions are small. Breakfast is very good and reasonably priced at 15 eur each. Service is above average.
This hotel ticks a lot of boxes. The room was clean and delivered as per description. Slightly odd to walk through a function room to get to the room though. The restaurant food was delicious and the breakfast was excellent. The catering exceeded my expectations. Some staff were friendly, some not so much. The pool area is extremely well presented but do watch your bill as we were charged for the jacuzzi which is advertised as included for hotel guest. The hotel owner removed the charge with no trouble. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
I would not recommend this hotel to families with children. I do recommend this to couples who would like to take a day of to relax. Although the spa with swimming pool were lovely, it was meant to be for relaxation and not for "childrens fun". The bedrooms were ok. It was small but good for one night. The shower in the bathroom was weird, did not like it at all. The breakfast was nice.
Booked a table for four our 50th wedding anniversary and our friends 49th. Girl in reception spoke English and was charming, she showed us to our room. Room was past it's best wallpaper peeling paintwork worn away mould around shower frame and not worth the euro 93 price. Went to dinner had a gin & tonic to start, no ice or lemon, shown our table by a second young lady who could not raise a smile and appeared to be totally disinterested. Table was dirty and no attempt to clean it, after the main course the girl attempted to be a proper waitress and clean the table with a brush and silver pan but missed the pan at every sweep. Meal was good but very Cheffy. Woke up with puffy eyes, never had this before or since, maybe I was allergic to the pillows. Not a hotel or restaurant I could recommend to any friend.
Excellent Restaurant food always of the highest quality Wine choices superb with excellent attention by all staff. Will always return. Spa of the highest standard.
Great food and lovely atmosphere. We were a table of 8 having the set menu. Excellent
