Great place to visit with fantastic views and friendly people.
Great historical place with lots of character. Stunning views so make sure you have plenty of room on your memory card. There is a local community hall that provides food and drinks, check online for opening times
Although this is expensive it is still good value for your money. In fact if we had done nothing else it would have been worth the whole trip to Ireland. The guides Declan and Seamus did a fantastic job of explaining what we were looking at and bringing every thing alive and personal. Bring allowed to cut turf(peat) was a wonderful experience. One recommendation is to bring warm cloths and something warm to put on your head. It didn't rain while we were there but rain gear might be worth while. I would recommend this tour to any one who travels to Ireland. Be sure to plan on the full day tour.
An absolutely fantastic experience, we were here for a Christmas family dinner and the staff went above and beyond for us, even had arranged a visit from santa to the kids,!!
