Small house and cannot take photo inside the house
Interesting concept. There's not much u can do here other than enjoying the view and taking some pictures outside. We were not allowed to take pictures inside tho...But it was interesting. The staff were friendly and accommodating. They also have a souvenir shop here if u are interested. I bought some cute stickers here for my journal. 😆
Visited Rumah Terbalik in Sabah and it was quite a unique experience! The whole house is literally built upside down, furniture, decorations, even the car outside. It’s fun and creative, especially for taking interesting photos. The staff were friendly and gave a short guided tour explaining the concept and details of the house. The only thing to note is that photography isn’t allowed inside, which was a bit disappointing since the interior is the most interesting part. Still, the tour was short and informative, and there’s a small souvenir shop at the exit. Overall, it’s a fun and quirky stop, great for families and anyone looking for something different to see in Sabah.
Not bad. Just too bad didn't allowed to take photo of the inside of the Up Side Down House. The 3D interactive gallery was kinda fun. A bit stuffy inside as the aircon was turned on quite late.
Couldn't take a picture inside The Rumah Terbalik, unlike the other Rumah Terbalik in other countries. Well, it's the management's right to do what they think is best. Shared some old photos here back in 2014.
We went early so no Q to all attractions. We had fun posings @ the 3D section. There is a new AI section that need enhancement to attract the visitors
It is such a unique place to visit but unfortunately you are not allowed to take photos from inside the upside down house. A lot of things in the house reminds me of my grandma's place. A lot of nostalgic things there.😊 And the staff there are super nice too!
Very unique. A place of attraction. The owner is innovative to construct an upside down house to attract the attention of the tourists in order to introduce the culture of the local bajau where the house has a distinct open concept. The kitchen, the sitting room and the common area are not divided with walls.

Historical suspension bridge & the underneath unique concrete bridge (only 1 way traffic allowed at a time with vehicles at both ends have wait for their turns almost based on first-come-first pass). There is schedule cultural performance at ghe entrance of the suspension bridge (donation box or buy some souvenirs).
At entrance, we will welcomed by the story teller and a music performance by the dancer and musician. But. The original bridge according to the history, is not the extention bridge. But the one that the cars use to crossed the river. After the welcome performance, please donate to the donation box. And they also sell a mechandise to tourist.
The most famous bridge in Sabah with a song dedicated to it. However this current 200m suspension bridge was not the original one crossing Tamparuli river. The old suspension bridge was swept away by flood in 1999. The walk along suspension bridge is not too unnerving as there is a limit to the numbers of people allowed at any one time. The view of the river, Pekan Tamparuli and the surrounding is spectacular from the bridge centre. Interesting is the folklore connected to the old bridge built by the British in 1930s, concerns the sacrifice of a maiden to appease the river spirit. Her body was supposedly buried alive under the first pier of the bridge. How's that for a macabre story! Today the bridge is well visited by tourists. A volunteer(?) group from a local cultural NGO provides traditional dance performance at the western bank start point of the bridge. No fees collected but donations are most welcomed. Visitors can park their cars at an open space near the river western bank. Else you can park in Pekan Tamparuli and approach the bridge from the eastern side, next to the market place.
It's a good experience crossing the bridge. It was the rainy season when we came, so the river's quite high. At the other end of the bridge is a team from the Cultural and Arts Society Tuaran, entertaining us with their music and dance.
A very historical place to visit and get to know about Kampung Kionsom history
Just like any other bridge but it has its history though. Entertainment is provided after you alight from the bridge in the form of cultural dance.
Nice outskirts historical place since early 1930.lots of small stalls selling fresh fruits, vegetables
Stop by here to visit the historical jambatan tamparuli all the way from kota kinabalu to our homestay at kundasang.

Relaxing Stay at ZipBorneo Chalet – Highly Recommended We stayed at ZipBorneo Chalet for two nights and absolutely loved it! The chalet faces the rafting river and is surrounded by adventure activities, making it an exciting yet peaceful retreat. The property is well-maintained, with a spacious area and beautifully landscaped surroundings, offering excellent value for the price. There’s no Wi-Fi or TV, but that only adds to the charm of the place—it’s perfect for camping enthusiasts or anyone looking to disconnect and unwind. The morning breeze is truly magical as you wake up to the sight of the clean river and lush trees all around. It was our first time here, and we’ve fallen in love with this serene escape. Highly recommended for nature lovers and those seeking a relaxing getaway!
Hidden gem good spots for photos and chillin. Suitable for family or even big groups
Activities were so much fun, we're so having so much fun also, Staff so friendly and nice, instruction easy to understand, kalu ko berbahasa malaysia la, And easy to go with road, please becarefull with cars driven through la, because it is only one way in out, just nearby riverbug side, ask them nicely you'll get you answer nice too, Enjoy your day here, 💃
One of the best, beautifully maintained and jaw drooping place for you to experience outdoor activities such as wall climbing, zip lining, abseiling and high rope challenge. The operator offer jungle trekking and team building as well. A good place for you to challenge your self if you are acrophobia like me. Operator are super friendly and they are expert and well trained. All the equipments and facilities are really well maintained. Just a piece of advice for outsiders, for you to get here be prepared in advance to download offline map in case your mobile carrier reception are not good, it will be helpful. Booking is not necessary but contact the operator in advance for the operating hours plus weather condition need to be take into consideration for the activities to take place. A really good place to well spend your time for all age of generations plus gaining new experience in outdoor activities.
The place is super clean, staff is very helpful and friendly. The nature is well deserved. About the games, we really enjoy each of them and worry not, the safety features and equipment is well manage too.
such a nice place to spend your weekend, recommended!
Maybe because of sunny days and lack of rain water, the water is a bit calm, suitable for families. If you are looking for excitement, padas river should be a better choice.
Great place for camping if bringing toddlers. Clean, maintained facilties and helpful crews. Beautiful scenery.

The experience was fun and suitable for all ages! The guide was experienced and knew how to assist and guide participants during the trail. Based on their expertise, the guide selected the best trail to ensure maximum excitement. Highly recommend it!
Did this a week ago with Joe and Mr Sideon, amazing guys and a great experience. We both loved it, 2 hours of ATV driving and professional as well. There were 4 of us in total and lots of time explaining the route, safety.
A day that we could thoroughly reckomend. Started with a lovely driver that collected us from our hotel and who was very generous with his time and knowledge. Then the quad bike instructor who was a very nice young man with patience and great smile. The bike trip was really fun and challenging. The lady who we organised the trip online was very helpful and responsive...We would highly recommend this day as a great day out.
What a great place for bonding time with friends and family
Booked a ride with a bunch of friends. Track used is gravel road with a bit going uphill and downhill. Our guide even let us race with each other and that's the best thing 👍👍
Good fun and some stunning views but limited to a bumpy unpaved road rather than proper off-road trails.
Awesome experience! Highly recommended for those who loves adventure
great fun and we always felt safe
