This chateau is always a hit with visiting guests from out of country. Numerous rooms have been restored and contribute to the beauty of the chateau and its storied past. The gardens provide an enjoyable walk, whether you stay close to the chateau or wander out to the folly. The staff are friendly and helpful. The chateau can accommodate group tours in English; otherwise there is a written guide to help you along as you tour.
Nice example of a french chateau. Decent guides offered (paper or audio - in french and English). Dressing up clothes for the kids were pretty fun, and they got to wear them all around the chateau inside. Well worth the visit. Grounds outside were also nice, though worth knowing that they don't allow picnics in the grounds.
This is a privately owned Chateau that has been for 100's of years. The latest owners with the help of the Local Government have restored alot but they desperately need a new roof. You can see in some of the rooms that water is coming through and affecting the rooms beneath. Such a shame. You can only visit the first floor. The rooms are very intricate and pretty with some seriously pretty floors. Parquet and tiled which are in very good condition at the moment. We managed to capture a QR code at the entrance which allowed us to listen to an audio guide which was excellent and allowed us to appreciate the history. Really enjoyable and we spent 2 hours inside and the time flew by.
As in france we wanted to go to a Chateau wow this was a fine one too open all day (unlike everything else in France shuts 12 till 3 🤨) fine rooms amazing painting on the walls. Followed by a pizza from the village/town.
Beautiful and historical place in a small village but good area with good foods and people are friendly. I didn’t get inside as it was an event day But recommend it
Beautiful chateau and gardens worth a visit. €25 for 2 adults. They close for lunch 12.30-2 so we had to split our visit house before lunch then gardens after. An unusual exhibition of hairstyles through the ages A section of the ground floor rooms are being restored. Amazing detailed work.
Beautiful castle. Wonderful gardens. Lego exhibition going on. Audio guides available in different languages. Friendly staff. We enjoyed the visit! Totally recommended.
Magnificent decor and impressive building, ground floor still in process of restoration. Very reasonably priced and immaculate gardens. Having been vacant, somehow lacking in personality but well worth a visit
