So much fun. Some of the best slides I’ve ever been on. Park was well organised, and queues were minimal. Good mix of slides for thrill seekers as well as some family friendly ones. We bought a ticket online, then caught a bus from Porto, and walked from the bus station along an old railway for about 4km. Such a fun day trip.
Excellent destination to spend a day with children and family. Perhaps a bit of over crowded and regarding to slightly remote location visitors should be indicated better and earlier(not almost on the gate) of the possibility to be turned back in case they arrive without reservation. Luckily we had an online tickets booked and almost everything came up roses.😊
Lovely little place to visit with lots of rides, pools, facilities and friendly staff. However it's really not suitable for people with mobility issues. It's all on multiple large inclines (which is of course, the nature of the location). They do have a lift for one part of the park but other than that you have to make do. Most of the main rides are restricted by weight, so note that if you're about 160kg+, you're limited to the pools and small slides. The website does list all the rides and their weight capacities but this is only on the original/Portuguese website. The food and drink is really expensive for what it is. I recommend bringing snacks and drinks to the park! We went on a random weekday, and it was full to the brim of school children. Wait times were long, until about an hour before closing time. I waited for the last wave pool round, but they refused to do it due to it having less than 10 people in the pool. So I kind of just swam and got cold from waiting, until I asked them about it and took that as a sign to leave the park. Overall, lovely for the family but lacks accessibility.
Absolutely loved our day at the park. I would have given it a 5 but marked down as the traffic to get in and out was hectic. Plus the queues were extremely long. Having said that the rides were fun and there are plenty of cafes to get food and drink. Space is a bit tight, so we opted to hire sun loungers. Finally, the location is unique, right in the valley next to the river, stunning views, unlike any other water park I've been to. So, my advice, plan your day in advance, hire sun loungers, be prepared to queue but go. Great fun!
Lovely water park 45 minutes from Porto. Many different slides, pools, bars and fast food options. You can rent lockers, umbrellas and loungers.
We come here every year and we always manage to have a great time. Clean, friendly staff and amazing slides.
Bought our tickets online few days before coming, saved a bit and didn't had to queue at the entrance. Early arrival is recommended to be able to get chairs and nice spot. Many people bring cool boxes with food for a day, but if you don't bring it, food prices are good, especially for a place like this. A bit of disappointment - long queues for the slides. Overall enjoyed our day out there.
What a disappointing experience. The park was packed far beyond what felt safe or comfortable. We had to wait for hours in the scorching heat just to get on a single slide. The pools were overcrowded and didn’t feel clean, and there was absolutely nowhere to sit and rest. Maybe it was the high season, but the fact that they don’t limit the number of visitors made the entire day miserable.
