Great for a morning bike rides, an evening walk, or night shopping. It’s a safe and clean place, and shines above other boardwalk locations if you enjoy less crowds, and a more organic atmosphere. A lot of the shops are fun to explore and plenty of interesting events to come across.
Loved it! Was very clean. The beach was PACKED but on the boardwalk it wasn't. Like that at noon bikes and the cart thingys had to get off the boardwalk so you could just walk without worrying about people zooming past!
Less seagulls and very enjoyable walks. The longest boardwalk in NJ didn’t disappoint. There are less seagulls because the city employs falconers to work to protect the people due to the amount of people and a previous incident. Great views and great food options and stores. Had fun and would recommend for any one who likes to walk and enjoy a beautiful scene with lots of action and fun.
This jersey shore town was on my list to visit for this summer. 1st make sure you get here early before 12 if you can. This is because the parking lots in the area will fill up very fast due to its being a popular destination for the summer. I arrive after 1pm due to traffic so all the lots were full so I had to park on the street which have meters. Meters are $2/hr and the max is 4 hrs. So plan accordingly. Once on the boardwalk each street has single person restrooms. Here youll find a variety of eateries, arcades and other establishments. Pets or bikes are not allowed nor is alcohol or smoking. You'll have access to the beach which is free after certain time. Boardwalk is kept clean with visible police. Here youll also find activities like, mini golf, ko karts, amusement rides and much more. Overall is a great place for summer fun with friends and family I had a great time here definitely worth the visit.
The Best Boardwalk on the Atlantic coast! Shriver's Saltwater Taffy, Manco & Manco's world's best pizza, Kohl's frozen custard, amazing Ocean 7 motel, Music Pier, best beach walks, very best people watching, better than my wife's oatmeal oatmeal at George's Surfside Grill. What's not to love. Come on over to OCNJ.
What a beautiful place to spend the day. Sad that the amusement park was closed. Still beautiful sights to see and watch everyone doing there thing. Surfers taking the waves and 5yr old getting surf lessons. Walking the beach collecting shells. Can't wait to go back again.
This is my absolute favorite south Jersey boardwalk. A "dry" town so no bars or drunks to deal with. Music Hall Pier has many acts. Check out their schedule. Fun amusement rides and boardwalk shops. Don't forget to have Johnsons caramel popcorn and Schrivers candy and Gelatto.
Interminable space to explore on the boardwalk. With numerous activities to do on the boardwalk, there’s something for everyone, from food and golf to restaurants, souvenirs, and the sights that the boardwalk offers. Even if you’re there simply for the view, the boardwalk offers marvelous scenery at times.

My first visit to Ocean City Beach was a memorable and enjoyable experience. The combination of a beautiful beach, a vibrant boardwalk, and a friendly atmosphere made it a perfect getaway. I look forward to returning and creating more wonderful memories in the future. I appreciated the variety of activities available, from sunbathing and swimming to beach games and kite flying. The presence of lifeguards also added a sense of safety and security, allowing everyone to enjoy the water with peace of mind.
The cleanest beaches and town , any time of day/ night, and safest beach boardwalk. I have been on many long walks on the boardwalk past 11pm and approached the surf in near solitide. No one has made me feel uncomfortable or unsafe in the dead of night. Actually while walking with earbuds alone back through town I have passsd many people on their porches and overhangs in the evening without incident. It is a very quiet town at night. It is a dry beach, so no alcohol crowd to be found. The memorial plaques on the boardwalk benches all comfirm a very special sentiment. This is a unique area with a huge impact on those who live here in generational gratitude for the ones that have passed. Having lived on Florida, beaches in the tropics are very different. There is a lot to be said about the lack of bugs here. I wouldnt suggest this place for the party croud at all. This seems to be a completely chill and civilized backdrop to dining and various recreational endeavors. Biking, kiting, swimming, orchestral performances, thrill park rides, mini golf galore indoors and out, car shows etc.. Little kids to full on retirees are well adjusted and I havnt seen a single outburst or confrontation of any sort. You are on vacation here and they know it. Fully expect to pay double except in rare occasions. Prices in shops are dropping now in September but food is crazy. $7.50 for a slice of pizza, 7-10 dollars for any small thing like french fries, a cone or small gelato, pretzel, funnel cake. $20 bucks and up per person to eat on the boardwalk adds up to a couple hundred bucks for 4 in no time. Thats one meal and a snack. Im not rich so 2 weeks of that would bankrupt me. Sorry OC, shop inland and find locat gems when you can. Support the beach culture if you can afford it. They dont need it as much as you think. If you pass a fri shop then spot anther just down the boardwalk and another still further it begins to dawn on you. These family owned businesses running 50 plus years have played monopoly with boardwalk. Some families have multiple candy shops, fri shops, dairy shops, clothe shops, pizza shops etc.. The one shop owner we got great end of season deals on clothes and backpacks exclaimed to us how she put all her kids through medical school and was planning another trip to Hawaii this December. They are not broke but you will become broke if you dont go inland for some meals. God bless OC for its sanity and safety. PS, its a smoke free beach and shops on the boardwalk.
Ocean City Beach in Maryland is a stunning destination with a fantastic boardwalk that runs parallel to the beach. The parking is conveniently located at the beginning of the boardwalk, and if you prefer, a local shuttle can transport you to any point along the beach effortlessly. This beach is not overly crowded, and you can easily find beach umbrellas, lounge chairs, and boogie boards at reasonable prices. While the food prices may be a bit high, the convenience is worth it. Additionally, there are plenty of shops selling clothing, snacks, ice cream, and delicious funnel cakes. The area also offers a variety of nice hotels nearby. In my opinion, this beach is the best on the East Coast. It's always well-monitored by attentive lifeguards. Just keep in mind that the water can be chilly, so make sure to bring an appropriate amount of towels.
It's the most beautiful place on earth, best beach in new Jersey but I am very biased
Loved going to the beach in September when it was less crowded but overall this beach is great. Really enjoyed time with my family and I'm so blessed I live so close to such an amazing shore town!
One of my favorite beaches in the country to go to! I've done quite a bit of travelling and so far none compare to the Jersey beach & boardwalks done right. Lots of entertainment value! It has everything from the eateries to the amusement rides, with arcades, clothing stores and carnival type games interlaced inbetween. Want a fun day at the shore? Pick the places that have something for everyone in your party. Making fun memories every step of the way.
If you want to find street parking that is close to the boardwalk, come here before 9am or else you might need to park farther or park in the parking lot, still not bad for $15 daily early bird and $30 normally, parking lot get filled up fast! Clean beach and nice boardwalk with lots of stores! $10 for beach tag after 9:30am, make sure you get one even if you come in early, they will check your beach tag randomly at the beach! Public bathroom with climate control.
I should have done a review a while back, but my husband and I have a family connection that have a small house they allow us to stay at for a week here each year. we love this tourist town. it's so great to just walk around and enjoy the atmosphere. It's worth visiting, with family or just a group of friends.

This location is PERMANENTLY closed. Forever. Due to the mayor - who owns wonderland sold it to another company a few years ago and since then has mismanaged this park and drove it into the ground. COUNTLESS family's memories are embedded I this part, generation after generation and all we got was a cowardly statement released on Facebook. Selling and closing this park is nothing short of an insult and a huge disservice to ocean city and all who visit there. And for what? A luxury hotel with a possible liquors license? The property now belongs to Eustace Mita. *you can look up all this info and more on public records of the sale* 5 stars only because this was a lovely place that so many people loved. This was the heart of Ocean City,NJ. When you drove into the island the first thing you saw was the big wheel - and at night it was a sight to see. This place will be forever missed by so many. I hope the owners do the right thing. They probably won't tho 😕
Gillian’s Wonderland is the ideal family-friendly park for folks with younger kids. While my family has spent many more hours at Playland’s Castaway Cove, we’re very sad to see this iconic park close after the 2024 season. It truly is an icon on the boardwalk—its Ferris wheel towers over its surroundings, and its entrance facade is adorable and nostalgic for those of us who grew up coming to OCNJ every summer. I’m so glad I got to take my first and final ride on the Ferris wheel before Wonderland closes its doors. I just wish I had more pictures and memories to share.
This was the hardest goodbye, I wish wonderland would stay open by a new owner❤️ had many great childhood memories here! If only I could take my own kids here…
Sadly, as of 2024, this place is apparently shutting down. They're finishing out the summer, but then that's it. It's a shame because I took my kids here every summer and while they sound like they were having some issues recently, it wasn't always that way. It was a nice place to go and we didn't have problems with the rides or waiting for anything very long. My kids will miss Gillian's as they would visit both big parks on the boardwalk each chance we had.
Absolutely wonderful experience. This wonderland Pier has been part of the summertime culture in Ocean City and South Jersey for many many years and it will be sadly missed as 2024 as its final year it will be closing so you better get there while you can take the kids take their friends. Wonderful experience
I know this is the lesser of the two OC parks, but the nostalgia factor is absolutely off the charts. Sure it’s way more expansive than PlayLand, less rides, rides take longer to get fixed, but the nostalgia! The fact that they haven’t remodeled that rickety old blue train is a major win to me and my family. It’s got charm, and a unique old school feel that I really love. The fact that my children all rode the very same rides that I rode 4 decades ago is so wonderful! The very same untouched rides! That little fire truck ride that my son loves to death is the same seat I sat in when I was his age! I remember riding on that world class carousel as my dad reached out to get the rings, and now I’m doing it with my kids. I hope they just fix this place up to keep it working and never change. PlayLand by comparison has more intense, newer, flashier rides, but Wonderland it where it’s at, especially with small children 2-8. My 12 year old goes on all the thrill rides at PlayLand but my two younger kids have way more fun at Wonderland, with way more to choose from. I can count 10 rides off the top of my head for that age group at Wonderland, and only about 5 at PlayLand. They did add a pretty neat arcade too. Having said all that, again, it’s pricey, and more for the younger kids. Worth every penny to me though! I hope those same rides are around for my kids kids!
5 stars for all the memories. 0 stars for running this place to the ground and selling out to developers. Castaway Cove survived. Wildwood is doing ok. Now look at Atlantic City because that's what OCNJ is turning into - a boring dump. Anyway, Wonderland really was a dream as a small child. This was generations of first rides and amazing memories. It was a shell of what it used to be when I visited a few years ago. That's the result of disinvestment. You drive the prices up to insane levels yet fail to operate rides. It could have been and still has the potential to be great. My last visit there was bittersweet. It was my son's first time on the ferris wheel and log flume since they were closed completely the last time. It was so packed but they only allowed 4 seats on the ferris wheel? I didn't have time for much since the lines were so long. I took a video of the carousel, which btw is almost 100 years old and one of the last of it's kind. I got nice videos and pictures from on the train. I loved that ferris wheel so much as a kid I used to draw pictures of it. I remember my Dad (RIP) took me on my very first ferris wheel and it became a yearly tradition as my siblings joined. I am keeping my fingers crossed that they manage to preserve Wonderland rides and hopefully bring it's shine back instead of some stupid condo. It is uncertain and not likely. Let's stop erasing history, family fun and sanctuaries one by one in the name of greed.
OMG! The joy of our youth rushed over us just watching the kids enjoying themselves! We really needed this step back in time to balance out the stress of the daily grind. GET HERE BEFORE IT CLOSES FOREVER. You'll have a flow of emotions well up in you. I remember being here, then watching my little sisters here, then having my kids drive me crazy here, followed up with my nephews running me ragged here. Several generations of my family and many other families will be crying this season's end.

Wonderful Boardwalk Park just feet away from the beach, tons of shops, and plenty of good times! Prices are rather steep, but the variety of rides and things to do nearby make up for it! Public parking nearby was $15 for the day when I recently went, and there is a beautiful hotel (The Flanders Hotel) right around the corner if you wish to stay in the area for the night! Well worth the trip to visit!
The rides are amazing. I highly recommend Gale Force extreme thrill seekers. It's a mostly family focused park, so most of the rides aren't too thrilling. That being said, the prices are not cheap, there can be long lines sometimes, it can be crowded, and it opens at 4:00 PM, unlike other theme parks. Very good theme park overall. Definitely recommend.
Playland's Castaway Cove is such a fun place! 🎢 There’s a great variety of rides for all ages, from the little ones to thrill-seekers. The park is clean, easy to get around, and has that classic boardwalk amusement vibe. Perfect spot for families or just a fun night out by the beach. Definitely a must-visit when in Ocean City!
This place offers a very epic experience for kids for kids and adults to be like kids again. I loved how friendly the staff is and if your kid is under two they ride free. I didn’t realize that but didn’t matter we bought about $50 worth of tickets and it lasted two days. Daughter loved the merry go round and the speedway. It whips them around really fast so if you’re the adult you want to stay on the outside. Ferris wheel provides epic views of Ocean City from the top. Would highly recommend going because it’s a safe place and felt very family friendly.
It's not as big of a hill as the other log ride, but I'm thankful to at least have a log ride to enjoy on the boards. RIP to the older one. It will be forever missed. This log ride won't really scare you or tickle your tummy like the other one but it does have 2 hills and you get wet.
This is where the rides are located and it will get much busier once the sun sets. Rides are 4-5 tickets each. The main roller coaster is $10/tickets per ride. They don't have alot of rides but a decent amount to have fun.
Ocean city is the best place for families out of any beach I have ever went to! The boardwalk and Playlands Castaway Cove is like the cherry on top! I have been taking my kids every year for 12 years! Rides are fun and we tend to go on the later side like after 9pm to avoid any lines.
The mega ticket book cost 150$ was plenty for 3 girls 10,8,6 for 2 nights of rides. Well worth. Most lines moved along...no rowdy kids on a wed night.

Absolutely amazing. Finally a place that is the jersey shore but so unspoiled. Sure you have to walk about 1/2 mile to get to a beach but it’s worth it.
At the southern end of West Ave in Ocean City NJ is Corsons Inlet SP. It is renowned as a very good place for fishing. However, on Jan 1 it was way too cold and windy for that! There are two parking lots. One at 59th St and the other, where we parked, off Ocean Drive. No fees are charged. There is a boat ramp into the inlet and a short, sandy trail leading to an expansive beach on the Atlantic Ocean. It's a remarkable place to visit, especially at sunset.
Loved our walk in Corsons Inlet! Easily found parking the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. The bathrooms at 59th street are great (we parked on the street nearby). I highly suggest that you wear sneakers, high socks and/or pants. The path is fun, and while you can do it in flip flops, it is FULL of poison ivy. So.much.poisonivy! Everyone’s comments about bugs is also accurate, but we used bug spray. Not a big deal. Wearing flip flops on this hike (totally my fault!) with all the poison ivy was very stressful. Thankfully we came through unscathed. That being said (if you’ve read this far), I LOVED this walk and will do it again, walk the whole thing, while wearing sneakers! My three year old had a blast. Ya know, until we were at the farthest point from the car and then she wanted to be carried. We were able to take a path to the beach and she loved running back on the beach.
A short yet out of this world experience. The trails are amazing to walk through. One of my all time favorites. The trail is all sand with unique flora that's often just taller than 7 ft. The trail leads out to the beach as a reward. Can't wait to do it again in the future!
Not the biggest park, but appreciate some of the shore being preserved. There's three easy trails with the bulk of the interior being off limits for shore birds. I walked the shore from 59th St around to the cove and then took the yellow/red trails inside, took probably an hour or so. Would recommend bug spray for ticks and especially the deer flies.
Beautiful place for a nature hike. A local gem.
It was a pretty trail, but.... There was waaaaay too much poison oak. One of the trails was okay, but the other was completely overrun with poison oak and other plants, you couldn't walk through there at all if you were wearing shorts. You can keep going on the good trail, just be careful not to touch any poison oak.... or step on any snakes. I saw two snakes, they were small but still too big for comfort. So, overall, good trail but overrun with poison oak, poison ivy, and worst of all, snakes.
This is a nice beach and it’s tough to tell where the Ocean City beach ends and the State Park begins. But that doesn’t matter. There’s meter parking, a bathroom and changing room house. There are discretely marked hiking trails in the state park. The Red trail starts here and about 1 mile into the bush ends and intersects at the yellow trail, which leads to the beach in one direction and back into the bush to the back bay in the other direction. There are ticks, including the Texas Tick, aka the Lone Star tick, which aggressively seeks out humans. So, wear long pants and sleeves. I found 3 ticks after a 1 hour hike in the bush.

My daughter heard about this and we went in there to see what we would find to do it's really nice the staff is very friendly and helpful they have a huge selection of everything u can paint it's really neat to paint them they you get them glazed couldn't paint this time but will definitely be back
Will definitely be visiting again next time we are in OC!! We needed a low key afternoon activity out of the sun and this ended up being a perfect option. My kids loved the pieces they worked on and they were even finished a day early. The staff was super helpful and kind.
Loved it here! the kindest workers! my friends and i have never done pottery before and they explained everything perfectly. prices made sense. i painted a slice of cake which was $30, and had an inside. Will definitely come again it’s a really nice activity.
My wife and I were looking for an indoor activity to do on a rainy day. Found this place and it was so awesome. The way it’s set up is so easy. You pick your piece, you pick the colors, and start painting. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Perfect for a rainy day or if you just want to get out of the hot sun.
If you get anything out of my review read this, bring drinks/snacks and get there as early as you can. They say each color takes 3 coats to be a solid color without brush strokes after firing so it can takes hourssss if you want it perfect. Show up early and if need be have a backup plan for another day you can come back to finish. Overall 5/5 and would DEFINITELY recommend to family and friends and we would be back regularly if we lived here! So many options and the prices include glaze (with refills), brushes, sponges, firing, and friendly service. $20 for a handmade Christmas ornament? Yup! $30 for a custom mug you’ll cherish for years? Yup! $5 for a little statue as a vacation keepsake? You guessed it, yup! You get hours of entertainment for that price AND gifts to take home with you which is wonderful. Firing takes about 3-5 days when we were there so go earlier in your vacation week or call ahead to see the next scheduled kiln firing if you wanna make sure you’ll have it before you leave, or they can ship I believe. So so so happy we did this and hope you guys can enjoy as much as we did!
Fun family activity with large selection of items. Friendly staff. Large area to paint. Excited to see our finished products.
Planned a family trip here with my daughters and husband spent several hours here. Then came back the next day to finish up. My daughter even dropped her piece she has been working on and the owner allowed my daughter to pick out another piece at no charge. Very lovely ladies working there. Would definitely recommend anyone looking for something fun to do to go there. We will definitely be going back for more pieces.
My husband and I had a great time doing this. Just got them in the mail and they look so cute. Would do it again.

Great place, so much fun. My granddaughter can't wait to go back. Only negative I can say is I wish there was more shade on the dock running alongside the park for parents. I know there is seating for eating at the bulkhead end but I wasnt sure if that was for the general non-eating public and I wanted to stay closer to her due to her age and being the first time.
My nine-year-old daughter and I had a lot of fun with this. The 45-minute experience ended up being the ideal amount of time for us. I'm thankful it wasn't crowded due to the weather being overcast and somewhat cooler than normal, so we had plenty of space while moving about the course.
I brought my daughter and her freind, 13 yrs old, they had so much fun! Life guards were very attentive helping and watching kids. Definitely will come back!
11 & 7 year old had a blast! And my husband might have had more fun then both of them 😂
Kids had a great time, it was nice to do while we waited to check into our condo. 45 mins is plenty of time for kids to bounce around and get some energy out after a long car ride.
Super fun water course!! The obstacles are all so much fun and it is guarded by several lifeguards. However, when it is crowded, a lot of the fun is lost. I would recommend booking a 2 hour session if this is your thing, as you will get at least fifteen minutes with few crowds. It has some challenging obstacles, as well as easier ones and slides!
Great fun for the kids. A little bit expensive but what isn't at the shore. My one issue was the lifeguards. One pretty much sat on her phone the entire time. That's not a good look.
Family of 5 went tubing for the first time and had an absolute amazing time ! Josh was so much fun and made it the best time ever ! My family and I will be coming back for sure !

We specifically stopped here so we could check out the rookery. I was in complete amazement at how many birds were in the trees , there were alot of white ibis feeding there young while nesting in the trees. We also took a walk under the bridge where we saw alot of egrets, herons and different ducks.
If you are into birds, you can't skip this place in the spring. There is a heron rookery with white ibis, glossy ibis, great egrets, snowy egrets, and black crowned night herons. Some of the white ibis had hatched when we were t here. Amazing place!
If you enjoy bird watching, this place is a must! Bring your binoculars and plan to be in awe! We stopped here in late June (the center was actually closed) but had heard it was a great birding location. Up close we watched a great egret feeding her babies in the nest. We couldn't count the ibises....if we had to guess, we'd say hundreds of them.
Great place to stop and take a break. Beautiful scenery. Especially for birdwatchers. You can see herons and other shore birds nesting.
What a gem of a birding spot. Rookery gas nesting birds such as White Ibis, black crowned night heron, yellow crowned nigh heron, little blue heron, great and snowy egrets. Wonderful bird filled spot. Highly recommend. Close access to all theses birds without disrupting their nesting activities. A joy to watch.
This is so amazing. If anyone wants to view seashore birds, this is definitely a place to go. The birds are all sitting on eggs as well. Take your camera, binoculars it you have. If not they do have the ones on site. You pay a .25 There are fishing piers & you can also walk around. It's beautiful ya'll. I can't say enough about it. 🥰❤️❤️❤️🕊🦅🦆🦢🪿🐚🦀🐟🐦‍⬛ And best of all, except .25 for the binocular, it's honestly FREE . Children will love it & learn about wild beautiful birds
An amazing birding spot for viewing and photographing nesting egrets, herons, and ibis. A must stop for anyone who enjoys seeing birds.
Nice welcome center with a wide variety of brochures. People at the desk are friendly and knowledgeable. It’s a pretty large building for its purpose, with a lot of space inside. Around it, you can see plenty of birds, and you can learn about them inside. Very nice visitor center

I use the veterinarian clinic here Dr Julie and Dr Bob are both amazing . I hesitate to write this review because they are so busy already and I’d liked to be more selfish but I can’t ! Great veterinarian care here !
I visited here towards the end of August. My visit was unannounced. I just showed up...which is awkward. So why was I here? I am from another state. I had no business adopting a pet and I had never been there before. So again...why was I there??? I have to back this up a year to tell my tale...ir is it tail? I was walking on the Ocean City boardwalk...minding my own business and sadly visiting an amusement park that was slated to close....and sadly did. Lo and behold ...I saw a voting station for the "pet of the year." There were photos of several animals ...mostly dogs and cats...but there was one bunny. Well, while i love friendly dogs, my family are huge rabbit fans. So I dropped some change into the section for the bunny and hoped he or she would win. (Talk about buying an election!) Well...as the weeks passed...we never heard who won. We even called. Finally it came to pass that the bunny didn't win...but heard he or she was offered a cabinet position. So I when I was back on vacation...I thought...let me stop by.... When i got there, I was given a tour, bought a shirt for my son and left knowing that all of the critters in their care are in excellent hands. They work with the town for animal rescues and is a well run organization that deserves your support. Thank you for opening your doors to me and for all of the critters who knock on them.
I had begun looking around to Cape May County shelters looking for the perfect set of kittens. After having a solid back and forth email session with Jen, we set up a visit and while there met the three beautiful girls you see in this review. We immediately fell in love with the trio and as of writing this, it is day 3 of having them in house and it's been nothing but an absolute treat. The staff of the humane society made the adoption process super easy and they were very thorough with us. The amount of food given to us and services they offer to adopted alumni amazed us. The HSOCNJ staff helped us form our family and we are so excited for the many years ahead with our babies. :D
The women there were outstanding. They responded immediately to our call that we had a bat in the house when they came. They couldn't find it but they couldn't have been more understanding and said they would come back at a moment's notice if the bat appeared again
Helpful staff who really know their pups and kitties. Clean, well maintained facility. Highly recommend!
My favorite place to come on a rainy day or when I need some kitty loving! The staff is so sweet and passionate about their work. Great place to adopt or visit!
I took our kitten to be spayed & was very pleased with their professionalism and organization. I understand that they are a no-kill shelter, and that puts them at the top of my, “extra effort good guys” list. Scout is now fully recovered, and I am grateful that organizations like HSOC offer such reasonably priced veterinarian services.
Expert staff, knowledgable, caring and provided an in depth analysis of my new addition to my family. I HIGHLY recommend considering the Humane Society of Ocean City if you are looking for a great pet from an excellent team.

This shop is amazing! We stopped in to browse and walked out with 4 paintings! Friendly service and reasonable prices. We never felt rushed at all! C.P. wrapped them up securely and gave us instructions on how to care for them. We’ve seen this shop for years but today was our first purchase. I highly recommend you stop in. You won’t be disappointed.
This art gallery may be something that you want to walk past at first glance but they actually gave a pretty affordable collection of authentic paintings and prints. We stopped in on Labor Day Weekend and they were having a 40%+ Off sale. If you are looking for cheap, real painting, go here. They only get 4 stars because the art was not all that interesting. The collection is essentially a lot of hotel art and beach themed stuff. If that's what you are looking for, this is your spot. However, for my money, there are many more unique places to find local art nearby. I will say that this place gets nostalgia points from me. They have been in business for my whole life and I have walked by hundreds of times. I never need much art and I have never felt the desire to buy anything.
We have lots of art from here. Always love seeing the different original oil paintings they have. Seriously the best prices ever, everything comes with a frame that complements the art nicely.
This art gallery has a lot of really nice paintings. I recently bought 4 from here and am very pleased with them. The frames are all very nice as well. CP really has an eye for frames. The first one he puts on always ends up being the best looking frame for the painting. Highly recommend this gallery to anyone.
I have bought 4 huge oil paintings from here. Beautiful frames as well. Plan to get my 5th as soon as I get back. Very reasonably priced and wonderful quality. My first painting I bought back in 1988 and to this day it hangs proudly in my home.
Beautiful paintings for a very reasonable price. You get a nice wooden frame free with your painting. The best part you can browse without pressure to buy. We brought our painting then picked it up after we were done hanging out on the boardwalk.
What a find! We were walking the boardwalk after a day at the beach, when I spotted the 7th Street Gallery. We wanted a lighthouse-oriented oil painting for our home office and found a really nice one by an artist who signs her (his?) work, "Sue." I love the power in the images of all that artist's paintings and I noticed a little bit of business with the water--an almost cartoonish rendering of waves--you know, the linked set of crescents a kid would use. "Sue," however, uses it to great effect, making it an unmistakeable trademark. Anyway, the proprietor picked a perfect frame to make the artwork"pop" and we went home completely satisfied with our purhase of an original oil painting for less than $100. I just wish I could find out more about the artist, but just try to find an artist named Sue online. You can't miss with the 7th Street Gallery. Why settle for an overpriced lithograph, or printed copy, when you can have an actual, one-off oil painting gracing your wall?
Staff was nice, helpful in making selection. All the art hand made and a pretty wide selection for taste. No WWII battleship paintings :(

This was our #9 stop on the 25th Lighthouse Challenge NJ. Our first time here, what a great experience. So much to see in this museum, and it’s the only 1882 type station left in NJ. There are docents in each room and they will share lots of history - both about the Station and the local area. Very knowledgeable! Great for kids. Street parking.
Such a beautiful, history-filled museum! Our guide was fabulous & stayed late for us. Definitely recommend if you are interested in historical context!
We visited the U.S. Life Saving Station 30 during the NJ Lighthouse Challenge, and it was a fantastic experience! The employees and volunteers were incredibly friendly and passionate, sharing fascinating stories about the station’s history and life-saving efforts along the Jersey coast. The station is well-preserved, giving a glimpse into the tools, equipment, and daily routines of the brave crews who once operated here. Walking through the exhibits really brings the history to life, and the attention to detail is impressive. If you enjoy history or maritime heritage, this is a must-see stop. Highly recommend it for anyone doing the NJ Lighthouse Challenge or just exploring the area!
Extremely interesting!! The docents were extremely knowledgeable and made their presentations very informative, enjoyable, and interesting. I learned alot about the hardships that we today hardly even think about. I cannot imagine the lifestyle these heroes led back then. I'm so glad I visited. A hidden gem in Ocean City!
Oh my goodness, what a surprise! So much to know about the Jersey coastline. Loved going to the museum. The gentleman really made it special, taking us around and telling us a lot about the history and how things worked with this life-saving Network way back when
My son wanted to see the last remains of the Sindia. We learned at the ocean city historical museum that they were at the last life saving station on the island at 4th and Atlantic. The man there gave us a tour which was fascinating. There’s so much history there and everything is set up so well with interesting details to discover. We really enjoyed our tour and thank the staff for the wealth of information they provided. I’m so happy to share a love of history with my kids even while on vacation.
I have visited the Light Saving Station while on the NJ Lighthouse Challenge. It’s wonderful to see the amazing work they have done on the restoration. There some period furnishings inside and a lot of information.

Very interesting, well laid out museum documenting the history of Ocean City. Great displays! Volunteers were quite friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the display of the beginnings of the boardwalk and the Sindia shipwreck. Our group of 7 combined this museum with the US Lifesaving Station in Ocean City for a great and fun afternoon!
Very nice local museum showcasing history of Ocean City and its boardwalk. Very helpful staff and small gift shop.
I like this museum. It showed a lot about the history of Ocean City.
The curator was very kind even though they were short staffed. His knowledge of local history expanded on what was already displayed and beyond. It’s a really cool place. It also had a nice little art center above it, and a library adjacent! Definitely a must visit for newcomers and regulars alike.
Nicely done, welcoming atmosphere and engaging staff/volunteers The concept of having multiple cultural elements in one place is a hit here. Library, Art Center, Public Indoor Pool/Fitness Center and this museum Good location not far from the current end of the boardwalk located on the "bay side" Surface parking in abundance, ADA compliant parking etc. FREE museum sharing the documented beginning of Ocen City NJ. Gift store on site.
Free museum. Friendly staff. Really cool displays.
Small but full of history and worth the time!
Nice, small, and free admission to the museum. Covered the entire history of the island. From founding the island to the present. Also, a nice small art gallery upstairs to visit for free.

We had so much fun. My toddler loved the splash pad area! Everything was clean, safe, staff was friendly. The food prices were cheaper than I expected! Will definitely come again!!
When tickets are on sale and the park is not busy, it is a a welcome to relief from the heat. Maintained pretty well, staff very helpful and positive.
A small, yet very nice water park. The slides that they do have are a lot of fun, and in addition to slides, they have mini golf, rock walls, a lazy river, a kids area, and more. There are both tube slides and body slides, which are fun, and there is also a slide with a ten foot drop below. The kids area is pretty large, with small slides and play structures. They now installed dump buckets on the lazy river, which are fun. The only reason why this isn’t five stars is because it only has a handful of slides. Overall, a lot of fun though! Perfect for a few hours of fun.
For what it’s worth, this waterpark was fun for the three hour pass that my children and I purchased. We went shortly after they opened on a Friday and were able to go on all attractions multiple times with short wait times. I would definitely recommend going in the morning so that you’re able to fully enjoy your experience.
All-day family fun! We always have a blast at OC Waterpark and Adventure Golf! There’s something for everyone—our kids loved the Lil Buc’s Ship, water slides, and lazy river. The rock climbing wall and mini golf were also big hits. The private cabanas are perfect for relaxing and enjoying lunch in the shade, and the food options throughout the park are great—plenty to choose from. We love it here, and the staff was very attentive and friendly. The park is clean, well-run, and perfect for a fun day with family. We’ll definitely be back!
I was trying to save money because we were at Atlantic City and the water park costs $89 in the Showboat. Not worth it at all I pay $25 for parking. We went on a Thursday but the place was packed. The water park is very small, they don't have enough space for everyone to sit. Is good if you have little kids. You have come very early to get sit.
We host a party each year at this fun-filled water park. The team is exceptional to work with and flexible with ideas you might have to implement to help provide a little flare to your party. I'd highly recommend visiting the park for a day with your friends and family. I'd also highly recommend any type of party you'd like to plan, again they are great to work with! You won't be disappointed nor will your guests. Happy sliding!
So much fun. A few negative reviews on here about cleanliness. It’s not a brand new facility, but it’s quite nice and we didn’t have any issues. I’ve been going here for 25 years and still loved my experience today. The staff and life guards were very friendly and extremely helpful.

Great experience for my daughter with special needs. They give the kids the freedom to express themselves and grow their independence.
Shiboom was great! Great singing, nice backdrop, fun story! The seating was cramped. Seats too close together for full sized adults.
The OCTC produces and directs fantastic performances! They also run many theater camps and programs for all ages throughout the year. We are so lucky to have this theater company in our town.
Great school with teachers that care about kids and a great enviorment to learn. Kids enjoy summer camp program every summer.
My daughter loves their workshops and performing in the junior company plays. Highly recommend.
Saw Legally Blonde Jr. recently. Great performance, highly recommend.
The facility was clean. The staff was very professional and encouraging during the audition process.
Great group that conducts theater performances and has wonerful theatrical classes
