Steel Pier

Amusement park
Water & Amusement Parks
Theme Parks
Steel Pier is an amusement park situated on a pier extending over the Atlantic Ocean. It offers a variety of rides, a midway, and food vendors. The pier has a rich history as an entertainment destination featuring dances, musical performances, carnival rides, and novelty acts. Notably, it was known for the daring diving horse attraction that ran from the 1920s to the 70s. Additionally, Steel Pier boasts three boardwalk bars with refreshing cocktails and scenic views of the ocean.
I took my kids here over Memorial Day weekend, and to my surprise, it wasn’t very crowded. We first visited one evening after dinner but didn’t go on any rides. We returned the next day during the daytime and purchased $88 worth of tickets. Be sure to pay attention to the ticket deals—some come with discounts. One of our tickets included a free ride on the wheel with the purchase of two, and another offered a free popcorn or cotton candy with a purchase. Unfortunately, we didn’t use all our tickets since my daughter wanted someone to join her on the rides, and none of us are as adventurous as she is. The kiddie rides mostly cost 4 tickets, while others range from 6 to 8. Rides like the Ferris wheel, helicopter ride, and slingshot have separate pricing. There are also many fun games for both kids and adults, with the chance to win big or small prizes. While we didn’t try any of the food spots, I did buy popcorn and received a free cotton candy, which we enjoyed we had dinner inside the casino. Overall, we had a great time—and being right by the beach made it even better. What more could you ask for?
Kay B — Google review
An iconic spot to visit if you're an out of town visitor. My family and I enjoyed the sights and a few rides. Everything looks prettier at sunset when the rides are lit up. Prices are as to be expected for a high tourist area.
Jessica J — Google review
Classic arcade park fun. The wheel is worth the price. 2 full spins. Sunset views were spectacular. The helicopter ride is quick and limited to 2 people. It was great. Games are pricey as is the food. Just enjoy the smiles on your family's faces. Check for times. 5th visit to AC and finally here when it was open.
S B — Google review
3,5 stars if it was possible. not the most beautiful pier. there is very few spots to have a view on the shore. all the space is occupied with attractions. the city should improve the beauty of the general public space. there is enough money to building horrible casinos so there should be money to enhance the boardwalk and the pier. the giant wheel might be enjoyable. the attractions looks fun. the helicopter tour with the heliport at the end of the pier seams tour be very odd and dangerous. the helicopter flys very closed to the pier and the people. we all know this kind of helicopter tour is dangerous as the maintenance is usualy not as good as the maintenance done for helicopter used for real work.
Pierrick C — Google review
I had the opportunity to walk through this amusement park. It had a great mix of stuff. Price wise it was a little more expensive then a fair. The coolest thing was the helicopter ride that will fly you around the city or up and down the beach. It's a really quick ride, maybe 5 min for $75 beach flight but if you have never been in a helicopter to worth it.
Fewx J — Google review
The last night of our stay we went to the pier. Our party included multiple adults, teenagers, toddlers, and my elderly mother. We all had a great time! Wasn't too crowded, the lines were short, and the rides were a lot of fun.
Jaime C — Google review
Great place to be with family and kids... has a 2 bars to join yourself while kids can join rides and have fun.. if you ever come to Atlantic city the boardwalk is a must come.
AA — Google review
Great place for the family with helicopter rides, ferris wheel, bumper cars, roller coasters and many other attractions for kids. Fun place to hang out for a day or night

Absecon Lighthouse

Historical landmark
Sights & Landmarks
Absecon Lighthouse, the tallest lighthouse in New Jersey, offers visitors a chance to climb its 228 steps for sweeping views of Atlantic City. The site underwent restoration in the late 1990s and early 2000s, with funding from various organizations. Visitors can explore the two-acre property, visit the Keepers Cottage museum and gift shop, and experience the thrill of ascending to the top of this historic landmark.
It was a nice experience coming here. If it’s too high to make it all the way up in one shot for you, there are six landings where you can take a break. It was a nice view up top. Small though. Definitely tight spacing overall. Probably really pretty at night. Lighthouse keeper is friendly. When you make it up there, he gives you a little card congratulating you for making it which is so cute. It wasn’t too bad going up for me but when going back down, my legs felt jiggly. I can see the height through the little holes in the stairs. The little gift shop downstairs is pretty neat too. Wasn’t too pricey to go up. $10 adults and $5 kids. There’s definitely a lot of history here. Feels like a little museum.
Kelly C — Google review
5 Stars – A Must-Visit Historic Gem! Climbing the 228 steps to the top of the Absecon Lighthouse is absolutely worth it! The 360-degree view from the top is breathtaking and gives you a unique perspective of Atlantic City and the coastline. The lighthouse is well-maintained, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. There’s a small museum and a charming gift shop at the base, which add to the experience. Parking is limited to about 10–12 spaces, but we had no trouble finding a spot. At just $10, it’s a great value for a bit of local history, exercise, and unforgettable views. Highly recommended!
Deepnath D — Google review
Absolutely amazing visit. The kindest friendliest most knowledgeable staff. Dan at the top is awesome. He knows so much about lighthouses and how they work and very patient with teaching the kids. Great views and a great time and i can't wait to stop back
Thomas M — Google review
Even if you are local or from NJ/tri-state area, I highly recommend visiting this lighthouse. 3rd tallest in the US (I learned that there). The attendant downstairs could not have been nicer and more personable. Pace yourself and the climb up is not too bad, the climb down was more challenging as I was getting dizzy. The view from the top-breathtaking!
Leslie P — Google review
I visited on a Thursday. Dan, the volunteer lighthouse guide shared a wealth of information. He was quite knowledgeable, having visited many lighthouses up and down the East Coast. I enjoyed looking at and discussing the photographs he has taken over the years. 5️⃣ landings until you reach the 🔝 228 steps is not so bad. Catch your breath at each landing as you peruse the posted information and take a look out the windows. Each window offers a different view of Atlantic City.
Anevres — Google review
Spent a couple of days in AC and our first stop was Absecon Lighthouse. Nice property, loved the garden, the historic museum, and getting exercise while climbing to the top. Got some nice pics too!
Elizabeth H — Google review
Absecon Lighthouse was really cool to check out and climb up. The view from the top gives you great views of the casinos and beach.
Bill H — Google review
It was a small, charming lighthouse area with free parking nearby. There’s also a cozy little shop—very welcoming and nice to browse. A peaceful and pleasant stop!

Aquarium
Nature & Parks
Located in the Ocean Life Center complex at Gardners Basin, the Atlantic City Aquarium is a popular attraction showcasing over 100 marine animals and fish. Visitors can enjoy interactive exhibits, including a tropical shark touch tank and the Mid-Atlantic Coastal Zone featuring local organisms like horseshoe crabs and sea urchins. The aquarium also houses seahorses, moon jellies, moray eels, and Terrapins.
Atlantic City Aquarium – A Charming Comeback! Visited on May 16, 2025 After being closed for five long years, the Atlantic City Aquarium has finally reopened its doors – and what a delightful return it is! While the renovation is still in progress (with the second floor under construction), the first floor is fully open and offers a small but charming selection of exhibits. The aquarium may be modest in size, but it’s packed with personality and perfect for a short, relaxing visit. The marine life on display is well cared for, and the atmosphere is clean, bright, and welcoming. It’s a great spot for families with young kids or anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful hour or two by the water. One of the highlights is the incredible view from the third floor – a beautiful panorama of the beach that’s worth the visit alone. Currently, they’re offering a generous 50% discount on admission: just $6 for adults and $3 for children, which makes it not only enjoyable but also extremely budget-friendly. Plus, there’s plenty of free parking, which is always a huge bonus in Atlantic City. All in all, the Atlantic City Aquarium is making a great comeback, and we can’t wait to see it fully restored. It’s a sweet little gem that’s definitely worth supporting!
Deepnath D — Google review
The aquarium was really nice for the size and price. The second floor is still empty as they're waiting for more animals to arrive, but it was still a cool experience. I especially enjoyed being able to touch the horseshoe crabs and even the small sharks. They also had seahorses and jellyfish, which were fascinating to see up close. My only wish is that there were more information signs or descriptions about the animals, since it would have made the visit even more educational.
Alyssa G — Google review
We visited last week. The aquarium's second floor is closed for renovations, so the exhibits are limited right now. The loggerhead sea turtle was the star of the visit Great views from the upper floor. This would be a nice place in warmer weather to spend time outdoors.
Michele — Google review
My child loved the touch a shark area. The turtle, crab and lobster were great to see. They had a nice variety for only the first floor having sea creatures yet. We tried the photo booth, which was cute and fun. Behind the aquarium it is nice to see the area with the boats. We spent a good 40 mins total and it was a nice stop for the kids.
Suzanne L — Google review
The place has so much potential, but honestly, they have the whole 2nd floor empty and not much happening downstairs. We drove 30 min to get there and see like 10 species (including crabs and jellyfishes). Not worth the trip or the $6 they charge.
Luca S — Google review
This is nice looking forward to when it is completely open. Right now it's only part open just one floor. I really enjoyed watching my little cuz enjoy it
Ginger J — Google review
My wife and I took our grandsons (ages 4 and 5) to this aquarium. It was small and obviously not fully open (the 2nd floor was empty), but my grands enjoyed it a lot and would have stayed for hours touching the sharks, rays, and horseshoe crabs. The fish and other sea life on display were fun to watch and so beautiful.
Dan M — Google review
It would be a 5 star but it was not fully operational. Only the 1st floor was open to the public everything else was under construction. Tickets were half price to make up for the inconvenience. The customer service was excellent and the touch tank and other limited exhibits were great. This is great for small children.

Event venue
Arena
Located in Atlantic City, New Jersey, the Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall is a historic performance center that has been hosting various events since its opening in 1929. This iconic landmark was once the largest building in the world and is home to the world's largest pipe organ with over 33,000 pipes and 1000 keys. The venue hosts major concerts, sporting events, and shows including the Miss America Pageant.
Went to see Patti LaBelle, Chaka Khan, Stephanie Mills and Gladys Knight at boardwalk hall. Easy to find, parking wasn't a problem, entry and seating was no problem. We had a great time and would definitely go again
Cynthia M — Google review
I don't think there is a bad seat in the house for listening to a concert. Unfortunately when others stood for songs it really made it difficult to see the stage from my seat near the right corner of the theater. Monitors helped but sometimes even the view of them were blocked. However if you have ever been to a large concert venue, this place is a great change. Not sure about parking since I stayed in Atlantic City and walked the boardwalk to & from motel. So much nicer than fighting traffic in large venues. Defitely looking forward to more shows.
G K — Google review
Sommore, and the other comics did a fantastic job. Whenever she is in Atlantic City or in Philadelphia I look forward to seeing her. Lavelll Crawford is a legend will have you in stitches to uring his performance the entire time.Great individuals doing it well.
Donna — Google review
Acoustics here were not good at all for opening act, Caylee Hammock, at Stevie Nicks concert, but that girl had a big voice! I definitely want to check her out otherwise! I just couldn't understand most of what she was singing! However, Stevie sounded phenomenal! Like most venues, seats were very cramped & you feel like you are encroaching on your neighbor. Extremely difficult to navigate around after concert, everyone bottlenecks out of main entry instead of using side exits to help clear facility. I only noted a single merchant table, which was ridiculously crammed with disorderly lines, and folks waiting in line took over an entire area by a food court that made navigating around difficult. Security /event services were a heavy presence, and police station is located on premises. Medical services rendered assistance to a concert goer that had sustained injury right at her chair and environmental services swiftly & efficiently cleared all biohazardous waste. I didn't eat or drink anything here, but they sell the usual alcoholic beverages folks get toasted on to enjoy their favorite band. I did not need to use the ladies' room, so I could not attest or review those factors, but lines for restrooms were significant both before and after the concert. It was easier to grab a bootleg t shirt from a vendor on boardwalk than grab legit merchandise inside the venue. Depending on who the artist is, I would probably buy tickets directly from this venue again. Seats just over 10,000 with a lot of standing during concert. I stayed at Ceasars and you could see the dome from my room. It was literally a 5 minute walk down the boardwalk and very convenient
Storm W — Google review
Jersey is always has a pleasant breeze that just kisses your skin. It’s the sort of place that makes you want to kiss your lover on the hand. I had not been to Jersey for a while before crossing the bridge to see Lil. Wayne in concert, but it is always as nice as I remembered it. The staff at the venue were professional and efficient. You walk in, place your items on the conveyor belt, and move along. There wasn’t any sort of hold up because they got people in and through. Once we got our cocktails and waters, we chatted with a few people, and then were shown our seats. The show started on time, with Wayne coming out and receiving a standing ovation. It made him smile. The lighting was ok. Lots of dimmed red and silver lights with a smoky overcast. The sound system made up for the lightning. Incredible system. Show ended and the boardwalk was flooded. I’ll definitely be back!
Latasha — Google review
Excellent venue for the Stevie Nicks concert last night! Staff were friendly and organized and the venue was clean and easy to get in and out. Awesome time seeing Stevie Nicks at Boardwalk Hall!
Michael K — Google review
Venue was nice. A little confusing navigating to our seats but the concert was great!! It would have been nice to have an exit row at the end instead of a gate so people don't have to keep moving everyone in the whole row to get out.
Maryanne M — Google review
Nicely run venue right not too far from the Tropicana. Came here to see lil Wayne. Every seat in the house is a good seat at arenas like this one! They also have concession stands for food and drinks.

Tanger Outlets Atlantic City

Shopping mall
Shopping
Tanger Outlets Atlantic City is a popular shopping destination featuring over 60 retail outlets, including well-known brands like Nike, American Eagle, Chico's, H&M, Pandora and Kate Spade New York. The mall offers a variety of designer and brand-name stores at discounted prices. Visitors can also explore nearby shopping venues such as the Quarter at Tropicana and Hamilton Mall in Mays Landing for additional retail options.
The outlets definitely aren’t what they used to be 😕 — a bit dilapidated in parts, and I noticed a few homeless people walking around, which changes the vibe compared to 5–10 years ago. That said, it’s nice to see most of the stores still in business 🙌. There’s a solid mix of top name brands to choose from, and the directory is easy to navigate 🛍️. I do feel like the place could really use a makeover or some fresh marketing to bring back the energy it once had. Overall, still a decent spot if you’re hunting for deals — just go in with realistic expectations. 👍 Enjoy!
Nora M — Google review
No parking🤨 Some stores like Aeropostal, Nike, Puma, Tommy, Michaels Kors, etc. Normal discounts, is better Orlando 😬 (prices wow and lots of stores, (like Gucci and others more 🔝). Anyway, Atlantic city has very nice vibes 🛟⛵️⛱️🌊🎠🎡🎢
Andrea N — Google review
Went to Tanger for school shopping on a trip to Atlantic City. First, I must say I 💘 coupons. Tanger Outlets has an app with every store- and every store had a coupon!! I spent 315- but saved 225! The store options were perfect for my son. He got everything he wanted; and I got to pay what I wanted. The receipts can be used to earn points, too- just take a picture within the app and you get points for even more coupons. Parking was easy to find but not close to the stores I needed. You had to pay of course, and walk about a block & 1/2 to get into the area where the stores are. They also have parking decks available. We didn’t mind the walk, but others might.
Shamsia B — Google review
Tanger Outlet Atlantic City is definitely changed completely. There are so many empty stores and I feel the products given to these branches are just the bottom of the barrel. I’m really sorry for the decline in this area the loss of stores. I really enjoyed shopping here but now it’s a hit or miss.
Chrystal T — Google review
Really good collection of stores for the whole family. Bass Pro Shops is a must see for the outdoors enthusiasts. You'll have to find parking in the lots a few blocks away nearby. At least the kids have McDonald's 😅
Dee B — Google review
Convenient. But many stores carry limited stock or discontinued models. Lacoste was good as well as A&F and Boss.
Kosta R — Google review
The Tanger Outlets in Atlantic City is really great; they have a nice wide variety of stores, almost all with really good discount prices. If you go here, I recommend downloading the Tanger Outlet app so you can get more discounts

I highly recommend this specific Loft location on the Atlantic City Walk, especially if you get the chance to be there when Vicky is there , the store assistant —she’s truly exceptional. The store is well-organized and offers a fantastic selection of clothing for petites, which is so hard to find for me . They have everything from professional attire to casual pieces, all made with beautiful fabrics and great quality. The prices are reasonable for what you’re getting—this isn’t fast fashion like SHEIN; these are timeless, well-made pieces that you’ll have in your closet for years. I originally stopped in by chance and bought a pair of work pants. Since then, I’ve been back several times because their clothes actually fit me perfectly—no belts or alterations needed! Vicky was incredibly knowledgeable about their inventory, including items from their sister store, Ann Taylor. She guided me between both stores to help me find exactly what I needed, which is rare to find in retail these days. She’s the kind of employee every store needs: attentive without hovering, and truly invested in helping customers. Her understanding of the products and her professionalism set her apart. If she isn’t a manager already, she should be—her skills deserve recognition 🌟. She’s the perfect example of what a great salesperson should be and could honestly teach others how to elevate the customer experience. If you’re shopping at the Atlantic City Walk, I can’t recommend this Loft location or Vicky enough. She makes the entire experience exceptional!

The Quarter at Tropicana is a charming Old Havana-themed shopping center located in the heart of Atlantic City. It offers high-end shops, restaurants, and glitzy nightclubs, making it a must-visit destination for travelers. The Tropicana Casino, which has been standing since 1919 but was fully opened in 1981, is home to this vibrant quarter.
This place was awesome and it had a lot of really great restaurants in it. I wish they offered a little bit more for shopping... But For Food/ Atmosphere this place is a complete 5 and a great place for you to take your family to visit in Atlantic City. Definitely worth going in for nightlife... Three floors of really interesting shops and places to get awesome things. The restaurants are the true gem.

Awesome place! Our room had great views too! I enjoyed staying in this hotel!
Nicole C — Google review
The Quarter at Tropicana is a unique little place to visit while in Atlantic City! We stopped here to have lunch and few drinks. Cuban vibes, good food, and shopping on multi level floors! It's conveniently located just a few minutes from the boardwalk. Great hideaway indoors on a rainy day! They have a movie theater inside and other fun things to do too. Definitely worth making a stop!
How L — Google review
One of my favorite hotels in AC because they have a lot of stuff going on inside all hours of the day, hahahhaha. Even stopped by and picked up some Mrs. Field cookies 🤤
Phil B — Google review
Room nice, clean and spacious, good view of the ocean. Close to the boardwalk and beach!
Sabrina Y — Google review
Great time at the Trop in A.C. my stay there was even capped off with a beautiful rainbow
Michael S — Google review
Our first visit to the Imax theatre inside The Quarter. Almost impossible to find. They give a boardwalk address and there’s nothing there. Via GPS for The Quarter we thought we would have to take our bicycles into the parking garage to get there. After asking directions three times, “See that little group of people…” (on Pacific Ave outside a stealthy storefront) we finally found it! 20 minutes late. They have Imax banners on the boardwalk to try to increase their very small audience. I suggest adding a What’s Showing sign with show times and a good link for where the heck the theatre is.

There are a lot of shops and dining in the Quarter. More than most casinos in Atlantic City.

Atlantic City Beach is a wide stretch of soft, camel-hued sands that impresses visitors with its cleanliness and ample space for spreading out. The beach offers various activities such as body boarding, boogie boarding, and wave jumping for kids, while adults can enjoy leisurely walks along the flat terrain near the water or relax in beach chairs.
While our visit was in March, not in the summer months it was still wonderful weather for the time of year with sunshine ☀️. The beach is beautiful and very large. If you enjoy walking along the water , you can easily walk endlessly. There are plenty of sea shells 🐚 all along the beach. The boardwalk with food options and shops as well as Ferris wheel would be enjoyable in the summer.
J L — Google review
Nice wide beach, plenty of space to chill and enjoy the waves. Access via boardwalk, you can see plenty of shells in the sand, beach is mostly clean, only a few trash items observed over 100+m distance. 3 stars, will be back to see the sunrise.
Jugdeep S — Google review
Cool, active, at times choppy water. Beautiful scenery. Located steps away from the boardwalk. Something to definately experience.
Perry K — Google review
The beach was okay overall. The vibe on the boardwalk was really fun, lots of energy, music, and food. But chair and umbrella rentals were very expensive, which was a downside. Also, there were very few outdoor showers, so it wasn’t easy to rinse off the sand. Still, it’s a decent spot for a few hours if you’re already in the area.
Kiana T — Google review
Love the beach near the pier! Especially at night! No one bothers you and it's so beautiful!

I had an amazing time this oast weekend here. The beach was clean, the people were friendly, I found an awesome church called the crossroads to worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at. Definitely recommend checking this beach out once or many times weather fishing, swimming, or laying out and basking in the sun while enjoying the beautiful things, sounds, and animals God has provided us to enjoy during our earthly lives.

Playground Pier is a luxurious shopping destination located by the beach, offering an impressive lineup of retailers including Victoria's Secret, the Apple Store, and Tommy Bahama. Situated near Caesars in Atlantic City, this four-floor luxury mall features world-class brands like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and Burberry. Visitors can also enjoy renowned dining options such as Buddakan and Phillips Seafood. The pier offers fantastic ocean views and is home to Atlantic City Miniature Golf.
Always remember the old mall here and any updates along the way as well as it always being awesome in the future. That's the only way permanently forward. Everyone misses the water show and the stuff they closed down and they love all the new stuff too. This mall always needs to find a way to do everything that's ever been here. The lounge upstairs where there's beach chairs and beach sand and you get to look at the beach out of the windows is completely AWESOME 💯😎💯%
Jared D — Google review
I went here once in 2012 and it was so cool that it is the only positive thing i remember about the godforsaken atlantic city board walk. I returned 10 years later and the place was mostly abandoned bar a few failing stores and the entire place smelt like sewage
Fire W — Google review
There is no longer place of cleanliness. A lot of places are closed or rundown. The beach itself is okay.
Teria A — Google review
Place is dead with no stores and top level closed off. Owner doesn't care, needs to be demolished as its a shell of its former self. The glow golf and water feature was amazing. Now this eyesore is taking up space.
Gary G — Google review
This was a fun place to visit with our family. We visited shops and enjoyed the games and beach, though some maintenance could be done on the planks on the boardwalk. The view and experience is likely to be a repeat vacation for us again. The food everywhere we ate was tops!
Candelyn N — Google review
So. This place is a dead mall since many years ago. I remember going there for the fountain shows, but then they closed them and it would soon be the turn of the majority of thr stores and restaurants. Today there are like 3 or 4 stores open, the rest is empty. However you can still go visit around, unlike some other places. I love dead malls but I know it's not the case for many so yeah don't go there if you want to shop. I might add pictures from camera to this review one day.
Ink U — Google review
Nice looking mall, but barely anything to do. There are only about 3 or 4 stores open in the entire mall and the restaurants were closed too. I'm not sure if more things will open up during the summer but I was here during April 2023 and it was pretty dead. Definitely do not go out of your way to come here. It's nice to stop by if you're passing though. I still gave it a very high rating because there was good music playing, the views are nice, and I managed to get myself a ring from one of the stores that was actually opened. I've wanted a cheap, silver ring for a couple of years now but never actually got around to purchasing one so I'm glad the opportunity presented itself here. The store owner was nice. Basically everything in the store was $10, but because we purchased a lot of things, he told us that we can pick out 4 rings for $10 so I ended up getting my ring for only $2.50. My sister picked out the other 3 for herself. I hope more places open up here and it becomes busy again because it's honestly a really nice building and has a nice ambience.

I would highly recommend a visit but the place is incredibly sad. You can see what was once a great looking mall, and it almost appears it still could be, but it's largely empty now. Why the high rating? It's a nice spot in the AC that sits almost directly on the water. Just head to the third floor and all the way down the hall for a great view. Seeing the 70s theming is neat as well. Overall, another great location with absolutely great potential that has been left abandoned and empty. I hope someone can find a good use one day for this awesome spot.

Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa

Fun & Games
Located in the Marina District, Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa is a luxurious property that offers a wide range of amenities. The casino area is spacious and less smoky compared to others in the city, while the rooms are described as spacious and luxurious. The hotel's opulent spa, Tocarre, provides a serene retreat with an Italian-themed setting and a variety of global treatments. Additionally, guests can enjoy around-the-world dining options at the hotel's restaurants.
We arrived around 2 PM, checked in, and were able to get our room right away. Parking was easy—we used the self-parking garage, and by scanning the QR code on the wall and entering our stay information, we could come and go freely during our visit. Since we had kids with us, we didn’t try the casino, but the casino floor had a Starbucks, a bakery, and other spots where people seemed to grab a quick breakfast in the morning. The outdoor pool is for guests 21+, so with our two young children we used the indoor pool instead, which was perfect for kids to play in. The fitness center was spacious and well-equipped, which was a nice bonus. Overall, this was a fantastic resort for both relaxation and enjoying Atlantic City. We loved being able to see the ocean and still have all the amenities of a top-notch hotel. Highly recommend for families and couples alike.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a remarkable hotel that provided an exceptional experience focused on relaxation and rejuvenation. After several years of considerable stress and fatigue, this hotel offered the perfect escape. The ambiance was incredibly inviting, creating a serene environment that allowed me to unwind fully. The soothing sounds of the ocean added to the overall tranquility, enhancing my stay significantly. The combination of a peaceful atmosphere and stunning surroundings truly revitalized my spirit. I am immensely grateful for the positive impact this experience had on my well-being. The attentive staff and the quality of service further contributed to making my stay memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a restorative getaway that prioritizes relaxation and rejuvenation. It’s a destination that truly delivers on its promise of tranquility and comfort.

The lobby of the hotel is pretty. I liked the fact that the cleaners always made sure to keep the common areas clean. The Starbucks on site is great. They claimed they upgraded my room but it was a standard room. The hotel is very pricey for us hear the neighbor in the rooms next door talking. Parking is $10 per day. The indoor pool was okay and all restaurants on site were super pricey.

The room was excellent Except for cobwebs on the sealing, bed was very cosy and comfortable, The hotel was very clean. The refrigerator was small & wasn’t cooling.. The hand blown glass chandeliers were amazing. The staff was friendly, The lighting in the room is very dark so bring your own light for putting on make-up.. overall The experience was great! But the hotel can improve on the rooms.

Casino is still lovely, with some new refurbishments, carpet and such. Hotel and casino is very clean with Modern games, plenty of table games and slot options. Food at buffett is spectacular along with some good eats at restaurants. Food court has some fast food type options. Not as nice as in its hayday but still our choice When we come in from Florida. Clientele is much more casual these days used to be such a hip spot to go now just a spot to go. Overall kinda meh.

Alright, let’s keep it real. I stayed at the Borgata thinking, “I’m a Platinum member, this is gonna be fancy.” Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. If this hotel were a person, it’d be the type that brags about being “exclusive” but shows up to brunch in sweatpants. So, I walk in expecting an upgrade, some VIP sparkle, maybe a free breakfast croissant or something. Nope. Nada. Apparently, Platinum means “you get what everyone else gets, but you get to be disappointed about it in a shinier card.” The room looked like it time-traveled straight from 2008. The bathroom door was so poorly installed it got stuck halfway like it was trying to escape the place too. No water in the room, no bathrobes either. I had to call twice and wait an hour for those robes, which at that point felt like waiting for a miracle. The pool area? Actually pretty nice. Until they tell you it closes at 7pm. Because apparently, this hotel thinks people come to Atlantic City to tuck in early and reflect on life choices. Staff were nice enough, but in that “I’m-being-nice-because-it’s-my-job” way. No warmth, no extra effort—just polite autopilot. And the kicker: almost $400 a night. For that price, I expected at least a door that closes, water that appears without a quest, and maybe a robe delivery faster than a pizza. Final thoughts: 2 out of 5 stars. It’s not terrible, but it’s definitely not worth the price or the Platinum hype. I’ll give them credit for the pool—but that’s about it. Next time, I’ll spend my $400 somewhere that remembers what “hospitality” means.

The king size room was decent. No water in rooms, only for purchase in the vending machine (which wasn't working btw) Fridge in the room did not work. They charge added tax (about $50) when you leave a $300 deposit for a room. The pool and hot tub were out of service while the staff just watched as we walked and tried to open the door that was locked. We had to literally ask for them to tell us it was out of service.. anyway. The food was very tasty and the place was clean. They do not provide toothpaste so bring your own.

Can’t find a better casino. They exude quality and excellent service. I even won $200 from $10 FreePlay on the first spin! Great location. Excellent restaurants, coffee shops, and boutiques. Gourmet dining if you wish. Right next to the marina. Not a far drive from downtown Atlantic City. Close to the boardwalk and other attractions. It is easy to get to your location. I will keep coming back for more.

Oyster bar restaurant
Dock's Oyster House is an upscale seafood restaurant that has been serving customers since 1897. The restaurant offers a cozy and elegant dining room with nightly piano music, creating a charming and classic atmosphere. It is known for its commitment to serving fresh seafood and has been run by the Dougherty family for four generations.
Reserved this place after watching Mark’s video. Food was exceptionally good. Super fresh seafood, great service and ambience. I really loved the grilled oyster with champagne sauce. We also ordered flounder and Halibut. Halibut melted in my mouth. It was so soft and tender. Ended our dinner with tiramisu which was great as well.

Dock's Oyster House is a seafood restaurant located on Atlantic Ave. in Atlantic City. They are open Mon - Thu 4PM - 9PM and Fri - Sun 4PM - 9:30PM. Reservations required. I'd heard nothing but great things about Dock's, so I was excited to finally check it out! My buddy and I had a 7:15 reservation and we were promptly seated upon arrival. We started with the fried calamari. It was perfectly crispy and served with a flavorful marinara sauce, all rings, no tentacles. For our entree, we decided to split the 16 oz lobster tail and the 12 oz filet mignon. Both were enjoyable, but they fell short of the wow factor we were anticipating. The lobster could have been served hotter and with a bit more natural sweetness, while the steak would have benefited from a more consistent cook throughout. Our server, Taz, was fantastic! He was genuinely friendly, super personable, and incredibly helpful with navigating the menu. He really added to the experience.

Located in the mid town area of Atlantic City, Docks Oyster House is an iconic fixture in which their service dates back to 1897. They offer valet parking and I highly recommend having a reservation. They are well known for an extensive daily happy hour from 4-6 with half priced apps in the bar. The building is well maintained and the vibe inside is both elegant and timeless. Dress is casual, but men are asked to not wear hats within the dining room area. The service was excellent (hostess, servers, food runners, and bus team). They have quite an extensive drink/wine menu and they do offer a few mocktail options. We enjoyed various oysters: The Cape May Salts and Brigantine Salt as well as the Champagne Leek and Wasabi Crusted, which were all delicious. I enjoyed a lavender lemon infused mocktail which was not overly sweet and refreshing. For dinner we ordered the Crabmeat Sautee and the Pan Roasted Bronzino. Both dishes had an amazing pairing of fresh vegetables, herbs, sauces, and flavor. We were too full for dessert but the few I did see during our visit looked amazing. Overall, we had a fabulous experience here and will be returning in the near future.

If I could give this place six stars I would, the food is unbelievable 😁 we had a reservation for 5pm. This place is so busy to the point that we did not sit down till 5: 45pm. The blackened salmon is very good. There's steak is not their favorite but it's my favorite. Seafood Tower is awesome. Will go back in the future 😜

Great service, great drinks, and great food. Made a reservation at 4pm. This worked out well because the restaurant space was not busy and it made for a great experience for my wife and I.
Aaron P — Google review
This place was highly recommended, and it didn't disappoint. The beet salad was excellent. The salmon dishes were full of flavor and cooked perfect, and the apple crumble was delicious and not very sweet. Make a reservation if you plan on visiting.

Unless you're queued up for Happy Hour 30 minutes prior to their opening, secure a reservation. You won't regret it! Dock's is busy for good reasons; the food and service is wonderful! I will return!

Adding yet another review to the thousands of 5 star reviews for Dock’s. Nothing to say that hasn’t already been said. This place has been open forever. I think since like 1897. It’s literally amazing. The oysters are on point. The food is incredible. The service is very helpful and professional. Great atmosphere with live piano music. Great happy hour. Endorsed by Anthony Bourdain. I try to come here every time I’m in AC.

Restaurant
Chef Vola's is a long-standing Italian restaurant in New Jersey that offers traditional, homestyle Italian dishes in a charming setting. The restaurant has been serving classic red sauce dishes for over 100 years and is known for its veal parm and pasta. It is a small, intimate, and exclusive dining spot that often caters to regulars, offering a literal home-cooked meal experience in a single-family home setting.
First time here, and I heard so much about this place. I absolutely love the service, their staff is on top of everything. They replace your silverware instantly, they fill your water before its halfway, the waiters and waitresses are very knowledgeable. The food is fantastic, I have never had a veal parm taste this delicious. And the peanut butter pie is to die for! The owner is also hands on, greeting us at the door. Making sure every little thing is just right. The waiter, Stevie, top notch... ask for him, you won't be disappointed.

Great spot in AC, lots of history and culture here - food was excellent! Reservation process is very difficult, especially for peak times and season (Spring/Summer). Our server was an awesome guy - affable and experienced. The host team works well together, bringing out all of the courses and cleaning up. If you enjoy traditional Italian food, pasta, or veal you should dine here at least once in your life.

I hadn't been here in a long time, but went this past week. It was my dad's first time, and he was very pleased with everything! We were seated upstairs inside which offers the most space so I was happy about that. (If you're seated in the original basement dining room you get the full old school experience but it's tight there!) Food does take a while, but I'd rather that than be rushed. Our server Tommy was amazing too...no pressure from him in any way but still attentive to our needs. We got to chat with him a lot at the end of our meal which was great as he was into a lot of the same things as us and very genuine.

The only thing that is better than the delicious food at Chef Vola’s is the service. The menu is filled with a great assortment of appetizers and entrees, and the dessert options are exceptional. Shout out to Noah for his exceptional service and thank you to the owners for an amazing experience.

The food was fantastic! We had wonderful service from start to finish — from the entrées to the desserts. A great bonus is that it’s BYOB, which makes the experience even better. The chicken Parmesan was excellent, the pasta was homemade and perfectly cooked, and both desserts we tried were delicious. Our server was very professional and attentive. The restaurant has a warm, old-school Italian feel — a true hidden gem in the city.

Amazing oysters! Loved the jalapeno lime sorbet served with them. We also really liked the lamb lollipop appetizer. Good calamari and steak. The creme brulee was very creamy. Waitress was knowledgeable on modifications needed to meet gluten free requirements for some of the table.

An amazing dinner! We appreciated everything and the food and service were great! Our server was very attentive and their recommendations when we asked were on point. You are dining in the Prohibition era in this restaurant and if your a history buff it only accentuates the dining experience. I felt as if at home with the quaint and comfortable vibe. Everything we ordered from cocktails to desert was electric to our taste buds. I have dined here several times including Thanksgiving and keep coming back!

The steak is amazing. That is without a doubt. Do avoid the lobster. They claim they make it in a specific style and they have been doing it for the past 100 years and no one else can do it…well no one else does it because you don’t get chewy lobster… just get the steak and have a good time! Win and lose some money! We had a great waiter and it’s a cool joint

We started off at the bar with half price appetizers at Happy hour 4-6. Got the oysters and the fried mozzarella. Delicious! Great beer on tap and cocktails. Awesome attentive bartender. We reserved our table for 6:15 but got there at 5 - a good idea since u can partake in the appetizer specials at the bar and then head to the table. We had filet and of course lobster thermidor. Both were great! Great service - wine was excellent. A great treat knowing what u are in for $ wise. I will go back again next year for or our 1st wedding anniversary! If you can, for a table for two, ask if there is something more private. No biggie but the table next to us pretty much was on top of us.

We went for a birthday dinner back in August. Our reservation was for 8:15, but we didn’t get seated until almost 8:40. Once we were settled, though, the experience improved. The corner we were seated in was very dimly lit, which might make reading the menu a little difficult for some. We started with the calamari appetizer, which was delicious. For my entrée, I had the seafood risotto—and it was sooo good. Drinks were well-made, and our server was excellent: attentive, friendly, and helpful with recommendations. Overall, aside from the longer wait to be seated, it was a really good experience.

Had an amazing dinner at KNF. It was my first time eating here at it came highly recommended. I enjoyed everything I had. I started with the mixed greens salad, had the 12oz filet with spinach and lobster risotto as sides for the table. EVERYTHING was delicious. I will be back! Our server was knowledgeable and personable. It was a bit loud as the drinks flowed and kicked in at all the tables on the 2nd floor. By the end of the night, we couldn't hear each other from across the table.

An amazing night out. We appreciated everything and the food and service were great! Maddy was very attentive and her recommendations when we asked were on point. The only food item ordered that we would not ask for again was the Lobster spring rolls as the lobster seemed a bit overcooked. You have your own table space, yet you felt as if at home with the quaint and comfortable vibe. The tuna dish and the filet were just so good! Thank you, we highly recommend and we hope we will be able to return soon!

OMG ! If you’re lucky enough to get a seat in this restaurant you won’t be disappointed. Don’t skip on the table-side service. We had the fresh made mozzarella - yes it’s to die for. And we followed that up with q Locatelli cheese wheel table-side pasta service. Add in a Sunday gravy entree and life is good.

I felt like I was back in time eating in Italy! This beautiful restaurant is a must go to! Make a reservation well in advance (leave a message on the machine and someone will call you back). Get at least one tableside service, it is worth it! We had the tableside Caesar salad (they make it in front of you). I ordered the lobster marinara for dinner. It was fabulous! This restaurant is a place you go to if you LOVE food. It is simply delicious! And the owners care. They will come out and check on you. The restaurant is small, so you MUST make a reservation. I did see a big group go to the back, so they can accommodate if you book in advance.

Superb spot in AC! I’m originally from the north east but live down south now. On a recent trip home I was craving that authentic Sunday gravy dinner my grandmom used to make. This place nailed it and made my childhood memories a reality. The table side experiences are where it’s at. Fresh mozzarella and Cacio e Pepe is heaven. Main dishes were just perfection! Service is five star. I will be back! It’s hard to get into but worth the patience.

Everyone we know that has been here loves it. Maybe we went on an off night for them. Unfortunately, the hostess set the tone. Her displeasure over us not having a reservation on a Tuesday was very evident. There were more tables available than there were occupied when we arrived. There were still several available when we left as well. So, I didn't quite get the attitude. Honestly, I was ready to walk out with her attitude. I was encouraged to stay since we heard so many good things from others. Luckily, we had a much more pleasant server. We ordered the pasta sampler. It was good. I was surprised that they had a small up-charge for each of the 3 choices. I don't recall seeing that mentioned on the menu & we weren't notified that there would be one when we ordered. Not all of our choices had protein. So, not sure what that was about. I just wanted to leave at that point and wasn't going to prolong things to bother complaining. I'll say that their weekly classics menu sounds delicious along with the rest of their menu. I just wish we had a better experience. Especially since we were there celebrating a birthday.

Have eaten here twice. Excellent! Pics are only from 2nd visit. Pizza here is great. The eggplant app we had both times, everyone loves it. My son had a filet that he loved. Cocktails are very good. Cacio de pepe is not on the menu, but they made it for my son's birthday. Can't beat that! I really enjoyed teh Spaghettini Neri, I had that both times. Wife loved the carbonara.
Thomas B — Google review
Giving one star for the previous meals I have had here. We have dined here at least 10 times in the past but will not be returning. Upon checking in for our 6:30 reservation (on a hot summer evening) we were told the only table available was outside. Our guests from out of town and I did not want to be on the nearly deserted "patio" sweating through our meal. There was an empty table near the bar but the incredibly rude woman who runs things would not let us sit there. It was being saved for someone else. We asked if we could wait at the bar for an inside table. She claimed we could not because there was a large party in the back (what this had to do with anything escaped all of us). We would have been perfectly happy to drink at the bar until a table opened. She was not going to let us do that either. It was outside or nothing! We chose nothing. When my friends read the reviews about how "warm and welcoming" this place is we had a good laugh. No meal is worth being treated rudely for; I guess if you are not a "regular" or someone this front of house harridan likes the looks of your welcome will be anything but warm. Find yourself another place. Cafe 2825 anyone!

The food was excellent. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Our table was next to the pizza oven and a heater so it was a bit warm, other than that we had a wonderful time

The food was uniformly excellent. Outdoor seating was extremely uncomfortable due to blinding sunlight and tight seating. Service was good aside from one glitch. The waiter passed a full drink across the table rather than walking around and handing it to the recipient, resulting in massive spillage. On the whole, this is a lovely restaurant that needs a little more polish.

Pancho's Mexican Taqueria is a humble yet noteworthy stop for classic Mexican dishes, particularly their housemade tortilla tacos. Despite being located next to the popular White House Subs, this spot stands out with its tender beef tacos and cozy atmosphere. The restaurant gained attention after receiving praise from chef David Chang in Lucky Peach magazine, drawing in locals and tourists alike.
Let us start by saying that if you are looking for a fancy restaurant this is not the place However the food is extremely tasteful and they cook it right in front of you, They even make the Tortillas on the spot as you order reason why you have to know that waiting is part of the experience We ordered Sopes al Pastor & tacos de Carnitas needless to say that we LOVED them paired with 2 super cold Victoria Mexican Beer. They also have Huataches, Fajitas, Burritos, Quesadillas and more to choose from. The ladies who cooked our food are from Oaxaca and they were very Friendly Definitely recommended For more tips on trips, food and Bars follow us on our Social Media and YouTube as AVENTURASCONLOSPAIZ

The food was definitely authentic and a "hole-in-a-wall" vibe. Don't expect a red carpet with customer service or food prep time. The ladies handling the food do not use gloves and this is concerning.

Awesome authentic Mexican cuisine! I’ve been to White House a bunch of times as a kid and as an adult and just recently stopped into Panchos. Small cozy spot with a bar to sit at, they have a good selection of Mexican lagers with Modelo, Corona, and Pacifico. Food was excellent, I tried a steak burrito and chips and salsa.

This is a hidden gem! It’s about a block from the Puma store, between a row of shops, one can miss this easily! It’s popular so you might have to wait a minute for a table. The food comes out quick and hot! My friend got steak tacos and I got mole enchiladas! Both tasted great and were hot temp wise! The staff was friendly and the place is clean. The only reason I gave them 4/5 stars is because they charge for chips and salsa!

If you’re in the mood for tacos, don’t think twice! I wish I would’ve taken a picture of the food but the hunger was real! This place is absolutely worth visiting. Everything tasted FRESH! From the guacamole to the actual tortillas for tacos, this place is truly a hidden gem. I came with a group of friends and there were no complaints. We all tried their fresh natural juices (hibiscus, tamarind) and everyone was pleasantly surprised. 10/10!!!

Excellent food and generous portions. They are consistently busy with takeout, so be prepared for a wait. The kitchen is in full view of the dining area so you see the process which was cool.

I've been to this spot a few times usually the food is spot on. However on my most recent visit not so good. The tacos were dry and the chicken was overcooked.

I was super excited to eat here because when I seen they made tortillas in house fresh I figured it was going to be amazing but it was just okay. The food is handled without gloves which wouldn't be an issue if the person handling the register and other things wasn't also handling the food. The tacos are pretty dry and tortillas as well. The burrito was pretty good and large quantity but nothing special.

The staff works very hard and really cares about making you the greatest sandwich! I had simple turkey with lettuce tomato oregeno oil vinegar and mayo and it was the best EVER! It's a happy atmosphere and the clientele is a fun mix of people. The tables are very clean.

Heartbroken. Every summer,as long as i could remember, I enjoyed White House Subs. Never minded waiting in line to eat in. You could smell the onions wafting through the air. Didn't mind having to navigate past waiting crowds to pick up take-out. I knew my reward was waiting. I raised two sons who enjoyed the same. I moved to Florida several years ago and nothing could compare. I am here for a visit. We placed a large order for a party. As I unwrapped each one they just didn't look the same. Where was that reverse stuffing that kept the lettuce, tomato and onion from falling out and kept the roll from getting soggy? The lettuce was on the roll, limp and made the roll soggy. Obviously not the consistant, artistic pride executed by every sandwich maker no matter how busy they were. It's true...." nothing stays the same"

I ordered the chicken cheesteak, very tasty and juicy, tender and love those peppers that come in the tiny cup. The people that work there are very nice friendly/ pleasant. Clean environment.
Rebecca P — Google review
The subs here were pretty good. If you get the whole sandwich, be prepared because it was huge enough to feed 4 people. Service was great. The place is a bit run down, but other than that, it was good.

Italian restaurant
Angelo's Fairmount Tavern is a historic Italian restaurant that has been serving authentic Mancuso family recipes since 1935. Located in Atlantic City, it is known for its generous portions of classic Italian dishes and a diverse wine list. The cozy atmosphere and welcoming staff make diners feel at home, while the walls adorned with sports memorabilia add to the old-school charm. Despite being an affordable option, the quality of food and service is top-notch.
This place was amazing! Food was not only delicious but affordable and with big portions. Family restaurant with patrons coming here for 60 years. The house wine was perfect with our meal. This was by far the best part of our trip to AC!

A great old school Italian spot for dinner. We had the chicken Anthony and the eggplant parm. We also had the artichoke and spinach app and the key lime pie for dessert. Everything was delicious and the place feels so nostalgic. Especially for an Italian American from northern NJ. Loved it and when I'm down South Jersey again will definitely come here.

One of my favorite restaurants in NJ . Atlantic City's famous Italian restaurant, it started business in 1935, - a 90-years old historic great restaurant history. Comparing to other restaurants in Atlantic City, the prices are reasonable. The portions are generous and the food is delicious. Our waitress is very attentive even found out a slice of tomato was accidentally dropped in to my boyfriend’s soda before we released while serving salad and replaced it . Great Service. Thumbs up. 👍 The restaurant is filled with valuable historical photos, especially boxing photos ( at our dining area ) and more historical photos. It’s a great place for family gatherings. Reservations are recommended for groups of more than 10 people. I recommended to arrive early or late to avoid peak meal times long waiting on weekends and holidays as reservations are not accepted for groups of less than 10 people . My only suggestion is the salad that comes with the meal; the dressing tend to be too much . If you prefer light meal like me, remember to tell your server salad dressing separately.

Old school italian restaurant. Historic place with alot of memorabilia hanging throughout. Honestly wasn't as good as I had anticipated. Antipasto was OK, some meats and cheeses on a bed of greens. Chicken parm was large, however cutlets were thick and smothered in sauce which made them pasty. Linguine with spinach and artichokes, garlic and oil. The spinach was frozen, the artichokes from a jar. Garlic was diced from a jar. These should be cut fresh. Side salads were bagged salads. For the iconic status of the restaurant it was disappointing as we expected more from the quality. It was a decent meal, decent price, just under performed.

Enjoyed a big portion of stuffed rigatoni with meat sauce and some great colleagues at a work event on 6/7/25. Our server was solid and as good as they come. Inside was a bit dated and surprisingly us as a group of 8 walked right in on a Friday night and got a table within minutes so they were not busy at all.

Food and service is 5 stars!!! Our waitress was the best, very attentive and friendly. We’ve been here a few times and have never been disappointed. We had the veal parm, linguine with white clam sauce, lasagna, kids had spaghetti with meat balls and chicken tenders👌

Amazing! Staff to the food was amazing! Food was delicious! The house salad was on point. The restaurant is not shy with the portions! Staff was attentive and accommodating. Parking was easy to find. Great time, amazing food, and amazing staff! Will be visiting again.

Megan the server was excellent Casey the bartender was great also Get here before 5 pm Or have a party of ten to be eligible for reservations. It will get frustrating seeing the the bigger parties pass you while your outside dealing with the weather elements Lots of history the fireplace room was done in 2001

Kelsey's Atlantic city

Soul food restaurant
Kelsey's Atlantic City is a classy soul-food restaurant owned by Kelsey and Kimberly Jackson. The upscale eatery offers elevated versions of traditional comfort-food dishes and hosts live music on the weekends, creating a vibrant atmosphere for guests to enjoy. The restaurant is known for its soul food brunch buffet, where patrons can indulge in shrimp and grits while vibing to 90s R&B or other tunes spun by the DJ.
Amazing! Justin server was a joy. Whiting and shrimp combo, and the Fried Wings needed just a hair more seasoning compared to the fish and shrimp. Greens were a must have, yams are soooooo goooood. Sweeeeet with a hint of vanilla, baked Mac and Cheese prepared with sharp cheddar versus a creamy mild cheese sauce. Defiantly get the cornbread. You won’t be disappointed. We were there when there was live music. What a treat.

This place is a tough sell. I made a reservation weeks in advance. I accidentally canceled it. They don’t answer the phone only voice mails, I sent a email, sent a text. To no avail. Went there when they opened at 10AM. Young lady said still come back at 4PM my group of 4 should be fine. That was a lie. Was in line at 3:40PM. There is no place I want to eat at that I will wait longer than 15 minutes. But this was my wife’s birthday and she wanted to attend before the concert. We stood in line until 5:40PM. Then had to sit at the bar. None of us drink alcohol. This poor attitude by the staff has to come from the top. Word of mouth is huge for a restaurant, especially in a town with so many other options. You would think they would want to make sure your experience is pleasant. Now once we walked in, it was empty tables everywhere. I couldn’t believe it. I was so disappointed. Food was okay, didn’t knock my socks off and certainly wasn’t worth a 2+ hour wait. It did come pretty quickly. We didn’t take up a lot of time because you could see people still standing in line through the glass. We are considerate people even if the management is not. This place is a hard pass for my family next time in AC. Just expected better treatment especially from my own. I wish they would do better, start by answering the phone!

We really wanted to enjoy the brunch, but unfortunately we were disappointed. The red velvet and sweet potato waffles are good; you get 2 pieces per plate (they are not on the buffet tables; the server brings them). The mac and cheese wasn't good at all. It was oily and the cheese used was separating - not a good flavor. The pot roast had good flavor but was a bit tough. The shrimp & sauce for the the shrimp n grits was good. The grits were a bit runny. For the price ($45+ per person) I would suggest having more selections available. The music was great. Not much other ambience in the restaurant during brunch.

Kelsey's in Atlantic City is a fantastic spot for a Sunday brunch! We rolled in around 11 AM and were seated immediately – no wait at all. The buffet was $46 and honestly, it was totally worth it. Our waitress was super attentive and kept checking on us, which was a nice touch. While the selection wasn't huge, with about 12 different trays of food, everything they offered was really good. My personal favorites were the Grits with shrimp gravy, the savory Lobster Cakes, and the perfectly spiced Spicy catfish. The Jerk Chicken was also incredibly flavorful and a definite highlight. They also have an omelet and pancake station where you can get your eggs cooked exactly how you like them. To top it all off, the DJ really set a great vibe for the whole place. I thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere!

We went here for brunch on Saturday first time coming here for brunch it was $46.00 per person. At first I thought that seems a little high for brunch but when we got inside the atmosphere far as the DJ playing some good songs had the customers dancing and singing. It wasn't your typical type of brunch. The food that they had for brunch was a really good mix everything that I got I enjoyed. I really like that you can order your fish and they would bring it out to you nice and hot they had to cook making omelettes and pancakes right on the spot. Definitely will come back for brunch again.

My Husband and I had a FANTASTIC TIME here. It was our first time and upon entering the vibes were IMMACULATE. Our waiter’s name was Scott and he was SO AWESOME!! Super personable, super professional, and super kind. My Hubby and I came on a Wednesday to celebrate our anniversary and we were not disappointed. This place is everything and the food was DELICIOUS! I can’t wait to come back. We also had our picture taken, edited and framed in a cute little 5x7 frame and we were super happy with it. It was just a wonderful experience. Support this business.

I came here craving some soul food and had passed by the other day and wanted to come back. I got a seat pretty quick at the bar. The menu is a scan code for your phone that was pretty cool. I got a sweet tea and the fish and shrimp platter with Mac and cheese and black eyes w rice. The black eyes were great with just enough salt and shreds of pork in it. The shrimp were great, nice seasoning and the white fish was good. They did a good job on removing almost all the bones. Now anyone that has read my post when it comes to Mac and cheese, they know I am a critic. This Mac and cheese was a disappointment. It had no cheese sauce and was more like scrambled eggs, either they curdled it or to much flour but bartender said they dont use a rue. Needless to say it was very dry. I added a pic of it. Bartender was super nice and the music was great.
Fewx J — Google review
Everything about this place is overrated, food was okay but the service was terrible. Even with the temperature outside being above 100F they made us stand in the sun, when asked if we can move to the shade, they didn’t let us. When entered we saw there was plenty of space to fit everyone in the queue and more. I wouldn’t say they have the best seafood I have ever eaten. The crab cakes were smelly and the shrimp too. Fish Tacos were the only good ones from the menu

Kelsey & Kim's Southern Restaurant is a delightful gem that truly embodies the essence of soul food, crafted with genuine care and passion. With each visit, you'll be treated to mouthwatering dishes that leave a lasting impression. The cornbread is simply irresistible, while the cheesy grits served at breakfast are a comforting start to your day. Don't miss out on their creamy mac and cheese paired with sweet candied yams for an unforgettable experience.
Situated right near a beach so you get a great view of the sky with a beach breeze. The food was so good! Ray was a great server! I will go back for sure the next time I am in AC. Cornbread top tier. Catfish nuggets were the best I ever had. Highly recommend.

We haven’t had the chance to revisit Kelsey and Kim’s for a very long time. We were hoping to get breakfast, but we missed the cutoff by a few minutes. No worries, their menu is extensive and we opted for an early lunch. Our order took some time, but since the food is cooked to order, that wasn’t too much of an issue. We had the pork chops, the fried catfish and the chicken and waffles. My compliments to the kitchen staff, the food was delicious! I forgot to mention the delicious cabbage and collard greens of which we added an extra side. Our server was pleasant. Maybe on a return trip, we can make it on time for breakfast. Our lunch was awesome!

I ordered the catfish breakfast with cheese grits, scrambled eggs, and rye toast. It was flavorful and perfect for my taste palette. The grits were so creamy and the fish was nice and crunchy but juicy. Seasoned to perfection. My husband and daughter ordered the chicken and waffles. It was very delicious as well. The chicken had a wonderful crispy texture and well seasoned. The drink of choice for everyone was the “Uptown” which is basically a half-and-half, a.k.a. Arnold Palmer. It was good. If visiting Atlantic City, I recommend visiting and trying out some food here.
Mrs. E — Google review
I was hesitant based on the negative reviews about customer service, but we had great service as soon as we walked through the door. The food overall was good with very large portions. If you like soul food, you can find something here to like. I personally wasn't a fan of the collard greens or the rice and peas (too wet) but I thoroughly enjoyed the catfish and cornbread!

I love it here🥰Chef Rodney is the best cook ever. Everything was delicious the food was well prepared not expensive and worth the wait. I'm going back for dinner and this will be a new regular spot when we visit AC..

Breakfast time and looking for fish and grits. I got salmon cakes and grits and it's delicious. My server Yisel is professional and beautiful. Chef Rodney is excellent. The price is reasonable and the restaurant is clean with nice music playing. They had many other dishes too. Yesterday I had eggs, sausage, hash browns with onions and peppers and it's was delicious too. I highly recommend this restaurant
Jamesjr6109 — Google review
The food is as good as people say it is and the portions make it well worth the price. I lived in the south for many years and even down there, this would be high quality southern food. I ordered short ribs and they were spectacular. Tender and extremely tasty. My wife ordered turkey chops and they were also amazing. In fact I ended up finishing that for her at home! Like I said, the portions were plentiful so there was some left days later. If you like southern food, go. If you never had southern food, go. If you just like food, go!

Philadelphia International Airport

International airport
Airport
Philadelphia International Airport, located seven miles southwest of downtown Philadelphia, is the largest airport in the Delaware Valley region. It offers direct rail service and features rotating art exhibitions as well as aviation-themed play areas for kids. The airport provides a positive travel experience with friendly and professional staff, a variety of quality stores, and numerous dining options. Travelers can choose from various parking options to suit their needs and budgets.
Philadelphia Airport has always been a reliable airport. Customers service and vendor options have been improved a lot over the past couple years and TSA has always been significantly fast compared to other major airports across the US. Rankings and reviews are often lower due to connecting passengers on American, but most residents in this region voice their preference for Philly over New York airports. Keep an open mind, follow the signs, and grab something to eat! If you’re connecting - give yourself a relaxed layover. Don’t hate the airport because of the tight flights you booked. Excited for the future and rebrand!
Zac Y — Google review
The airport moves you along pretty smoothly. The signs let you know updates about your flight. It is kept pretty clean but the bathrooms se very old and the airport needs updating. They keep it very warm which is not pleasant after a long flight. The people are helpful and they have some cute shops to go shopping if your flight is delayed.
Naomi S — Google review
Overall a very clean airport and I can’t fault the airport for the stupidity of airlines making you run from one terminal to the next. Just remember best food and shops are in the main terminal. This is a layover airport for me so I don’t know of parking or security lines.
Michael B — Google review
Good experiences traveling through Philly airport on my way home Europe. Ease of transfer from one terminal to the next, via bus bus ok, was acceptable. International terminal with BA was comfortable with plenty of seating. Coffee shop, snack place close by....way too expensive, more than other similar airports for what they offer. The Lego liberty bell close by is a great spot for selfies.
C V — Google review
Not a bad airport - some bathrooms are really nice, not all. Some interesting art scattered and a nice open baggage area. Kind of hard to navigate to get to rental car facility. Not the best signage to help navigate and info desk misled us to walk to Avis. Which was not a good idea. Carts are not free which is okay but I know a lot of places are moving to free carts. Nice shops and restaurants though.
Suzie M — Google review
I arrived at the airport in the morning on a weekend on Saturday. There are many choices in terms of restaurants where we can have breakfast but I found it difficult to find the price because I saw there are menus on the wall screen without price. I hesitated entering the restaurants for breakfast because I don't know how much it's going to take. I found out that there are many bars. Even in the morning I see people sitting on the counter drinking. I'm wondering if they're drinking alcohol or they're just drinking morning coffee? I was Thursday because I didn't had any drink on the airplane. I wanted to buy water but after I scanned the water bottle I first find out the water cost $6 and I gave up and went straight to the Starbucks which I know exactly how much it is because I'm using the app. I'm astonished by the low rating of the Starbucks but I didnt find any problem with the service and also taste. I would suggest you scan the QR code outside of the restaurant and look at the menu before you entered. There are many places where you can got water if you have an empty bottle. So probably next time I will bring my water bottle when I came to Philadelphia airport. But if you have no problem with spending money in the airport, this place has a lot of places that provides you food, drink and all the things you need. And they are open early in the morning so 4 stars for the variety of choices.
Nan L — Google review
Fun airport. We had a 3 1/2 hour layover, and it was enjoyable to look at all of the things. A really fun touch was all of the movies that were filmed in Philadelphia, and the fun artwork pieces. Edit: we flew back through PIA on our way to Minneapolis. The process of going through customs to walk your checked bag to another belt was interesting, but my wife signed up for the app (MPC), and that made the process of getting through customs much easier. We then proceeded to walk outside to the sea gates instead of the egg gates so that we could get through security more quickly.
David P — Google review
This was my first time connecting here. We landed at terminal F and had to go all the way to B. They have a shuttle you take to get to.each terminal. There was no wait and were at our gate in about 5 minutes. The airport has a cool vibe with lots of shopping and food choices. The gate we boarded at was chaotic as we were on a large, sold out plane going across the US. I felt the boarding process could have had better communication and coordination but overall we boarded without issues. We were on the tarmac, in line, for 20 minutes waiting to be cleared for take off. This is a congested airport but overall not an awful experience.
