Small, but very complete and well done museum. If you have any interest in rocks and minerals at all, it’s a great place to visit. The house itself is an architectural gem. The house was the dream house the Rice’s They built the house around their hobby. Prairie style with hint of Frank Lloyd Wright and California ranch Well, worth a visit.
Unassuming from the outside, incredible on the inside. Interactive displays with opportunities touch and lift all kinda of rocks and minerals. The staff and volunteers are knowledgeable and friendly. Kid friendly environment. I had no idea what to expect and was truly impressed.
We visited Rice museum today with kids. We didn't have high expectations having known it's a small and local museum. The entrance fees was reasonable. Once we entered the museum and witnessed the extensive and exquisite collections of rocks, gems, fossils, and minerals, we were fully engaged and entertained. Very nicely organized exhibits with right amount of information. They had small activity rooms to engage little kids. Outside, they have play areas filled with rock and fossil digs that kids will definitely love. The gift shop is also filled with unique gifts for all price ranges. Recommended.
I had an extraordinary experience there. Even for the people who don't collect rocks, they are amazed by the beautiful exhibitions. The local road to the museum is clearly marked. We arrived at a weekend and the parking lot was half full. The collection was amazing, and more important to the regular audience, beautiful. Even if you are not a rock collector, you will be blown away by the details and color of all the fossil, petrified wood, agate and other minerals. I spent hours just admiring their beauty. The staff at the gift shop is very knowledgeable. He has deep knowledge of all the rocks and very friendly. I had great conversations with him during my purchase. I also noticed he helps local rock hounder to identify their collections. BTW, the gift shop worth your time. Not only the price is very good, but also the rocks are authentic. You know those rocks and gems in the gift shop is real, not lab made or fake plastic ones on eBay or Etsy. Before you leave, make sure you drop by the self pick rock pool to find yourself a nice souvenir. I found myself a nice piece of petrified wood.
Excellent displays of rocks, minerals, and fossils. Super informative and astounding exhibitions. Wheelchair friendly, totally worthwhile. Passed this place so many times, so glad we stopped for a visit. Beautiful grounds include a wonderful picnic area with tables and bbq grills. Highly recommend!!
We had an interesting time viewing one of the best rock, mineral, and petrified wood museums. It took us about 2 hours to take in all the specimens. Interesting videos on how the rocks were found and removed from the ground. Plus we picked out a free sample from an large pile of unique rocks.
Had no idea what to expect but this was a fantastic collection. Friendly staff and ton of exhibits. Lots of gift options at good prices. We saw stuff didn’t know could exist. Must stop if in the area! It’s down a road to nowhere but don’t give up it’s a short drive.
One of the best hidden gems in Oregon. They have an amazing collection of gems, precious and semiprecious stones, fossils, and many other things. Excellent for kids and family. They do have gem cutting program and many activities planned for kids as well as adults. Very knowledgeable employees and excellent customer service.

A beautiful and large park. It’s where Rock Creek meets the Tualatin River. Lots of trails both paved and unpaved, tennis court, restrooms, playground, picnic shelter and BBQs, a garden with a wading stream and, a launch ramp for kayaks at the Tualatin River. NOTE: Some trails may be flooded during winter months.
What a great place for some tree time, solitude, and low-impact hiking. We just happened to find this one while searching Google for something new to do with the dog over the Labor Day weekend, and boy are we glad found it. Lots of good, low-effort walking trails, with tree cover, and plenty of distance, if you want it. There's also a boat dock where you can launch small boats and a specific launch spot for kayaks (less chance of novices tipping over while getting into the kayak). The dog really loved it too. So many smells! Most amazing was the fact that all the other dogs we encountered during our walk, big and small, were very well behaved (just like ours). No crazy "dog incidents" during this trip. No barking. Nada. Rood Bridge Park is now one of our favorites.
One of the best parks in Hillsboro area with a lot of green fields and path walks with nature. Picnic areas are mostly booked on weekend by usually freed up towards end of the day. Great playground for kids.
This is a beautiful park and today I saw a male and female deers on my walk (please videos and pictures). I was told by a regular walker of the park that she has not seen a deer in 5 years. The park has some amazing views of trees and lakes along the trails. However, if you do not want to walk the trails you can overlook the views just by standing or driving next to the many benches. The park also offers tennis courts and for the last three days on my visit people are enjoying paddle ball on the tennis courts. If you have children the play ground is large enough for at least 20-30 kids can play together. I love the cabanas over the picnic table areas and one of the cabanas has a huge fireplace. There is so much room if you wanted to just bring a blanket and picnic basket to enjoy the beautiful landscaping.
I love parks and there is plenty to see here. Nice and quiet, peaceful. Walked around the park and it was very well maintained. They have picnic areas a playground. Good place to bring kids.
Great place for a walk. Has an accessible boat launch. Large grill area. I think one can reserve the large shaded areas for events. Well maintained green spaces and ponds with interesting flowers. Nice trail for a walk. Pet friendly. Has play structure for kids.
Great park! My family loves letting the kids play on the playground, biking and walking trails, throwing a ball, and letting our dog run around. We’ve spent so many birthday parties there as well.
This is a very nice park with paved and unpaved walkways. It is by the Tualitin River, we'll maintained, and has tennis courts, a big play area for kids and covered picnic areas. They seem to have ample parking, but that can disappear fast if it's a nice day or weekend. They also have a lot of rhododendron trees/bushes which are very beautiful when in full bloom.

My husband and I had the best time today on a tour of the farm with Matt! It’s been a bucket list of mine ever since the show first came on back in the early 2,000’s. We finally made it! He was a great tour guide and conversation flowed effortlessly. I felt like I’ve known him my whole life. Thanks for a wonderful time Matt!!
My husband and I attended the Roloff Farm pumpkin patch this year!! We had a blast. We even got to meet Jacob and his beautiful wife Isabel. We loved how Matt and Amy did a meet and greet with fans. There was So much to do. I wish we brought our grandson, but We will definitely bring him so he can experience it. Definitely on our bucket list and it didn’t disappoint. Such a loving, humble, and friendly family. The property is gorgeous as well. We are definitely coming back if we are able to. ❤️
I drove from central washington to visit the Roloff Farm. To be honest, the experience was great. I was overall very pleased with the experience. I can't get over how much stuff they have available for little kids. The age target for kids would be 3-7. Although, we had fun as parents. I felt like the price was worth it. My only negative critique would the food vendors. There was a vendor that was named "oh my sugar" or something like that. They sold "oreo shakes" that were not milk based. I asked the owners what was in and he said it was a milkshake. It tasted watered down , more like a slushie than a shake. We also ordered hotdogs that were 5.00 each. They were low quality and super overcooked... how do you over cook a hotdog? The mango smoothie tasted like tampico, not bad. My favorite highlights were meeting Matt, seeing Amy walking around in her pirate costume, the live music and wagon ride.
seriously, please do yourself a favor and visit roloff farms! i grew up watching their show and had always dreamed of visiting. fast forward to october 3rd and i had talked my friends into going with me (i’m from minnesota, my boyfriend is from oregon, and one friend from each washington, florida, scotland, and maine). this was part of my boyfriend’s birthday and we also had some of his longtime friends from his hometown meet us there. i couldn’t find much information regarding how much time to plan on spending at the farm. well, we were there for four hours and wished we could’ve stayed longer. we had such a blast. the farm is beautiful and everyone was so kind, of course including the family. it was well worth the price. i can say this is such an incredibly well run operation and their years of expertise truly shine. my credentials are that i was a survivor of going to halloweentown in st helens which is so poorly planned. i love supporting local and there were many opportunities to do so here. some of us got our faces painted, we had lunch here from the vendors, we got some merchandise, did the new paintball experience, cannon launch, played with a ton of the games and activities, and went on the incredible farm tour. please don’t skip the farm tour- it’s so worth it. there is a ton to do for kids, but all of us were ages 20s-40 and we had such a blast. everything was well set up and it really shows that there is so much planning, dedication, and love put into this experience. this is really worth the trip and it is so close to other things to do in oregon so there’s no reason not to visit if it’s open. thank you to the roloff family for sharing your love with us and for helping my sweet boyfriend, Alberto, have the best birthday ever. i really hope to return someday!
Hear me out…I’m 31 years old and I have never written a Google review in my life. Roloff Farms was really fun, my wife and I had a blast, BUT AMYS PUMPKIN FARVEST SALSA is AMAZING!! Pumpkin and salsa?! Sounded strange but Amy said it was her personal recipe so I wanted to try it. Blew me away and I ended up eating half the jar in a matter of minutes. Blew my socks off. Well done Amy Roloff, WELL DONE!!
If you watched the show it's a must see. Great if you have kids. A bit pricey though. Wish them well.
We went on a 13 day trip to traverse Oregon and this was the primary thing my wife wanted to see. She had long wanted to visit and was thoroughly satisfied. Many of the TV "stars" were on hand and accessible. Matt & Amy were personable and out and about. They were amicable and readily posed for pictures and entertained brief conversations. Matt made himself available for an relaxed, unrushed personal Q & A. There were food wagons on site and there were activities to see and do. If you're a fan, you'll enjoy your visit.
We had a wonderful time, the farm is gorgeous and there are SO MANY activities for kids.

I was so ecstatic when I saw that the Navy Blue Angels were back, that I bought tickets as soon as they became available! My husband and I attended yesterday's Air Show at the Mcminville Municipal Airport, and had such an amazing time! I'm still on an adrenaline high, and I know I will be for weeks! The lineup of performers was just awesome, and it actually felt pre pandemic! Thank you for making our year! 🙏🏼 No words can describe what it feels like to watch our countries' elite take to the air! Also, being surrounded by veterans and active duty military alike is a feeling I can not describe: you just need to experience it for yourself! I truly wish to take this opportunity to say thank you to each and every man and woman who have, or are currently serving our country! ❤️
Didn’t attend the airshow at the airport due to hearing about it at the last minute. Was visiting my sister’s house, and we heard the planes go by. She had told us about the show. Wish we had heard about it prior, but we saw the show from a distance, and it was so awesome! We will definitely attend the show next year. It’s on our calendar for things to do.
It was my first time going to an airshow and taking my little brother as well. We both enjoyed our time looking at the planes on display, the planes in the sky demos, and the food stands too. It was an overall very nice experience for me and my little brother, I would definitely recommend you to visit if you have children that like planes and such! The F-15 and F-35 were really cool !
The 2025 show was my first time attending an air show and I was absolutely blown away!! The show itself was beyond magnificent, but there were so many amazing vendors!! We will be back every year!
I wish I had gone to kaboom on Friday night, but still saw it from my hotel and it was amazing there too. We went in person Sunday and loved the F-35 and F15 especially, but all the performers did a good job. Id definitely recommend going during the fireworks show night if you can though.
I’m sure the show is cool, it’s fun to watch from a distance. However it’s insanely loud and I don’t think it should be done near and over residential areas. I understand for logistical purposes it has to be done at an airport. But maybe consider moving it into an area more rural and less densely populated and allow people to travel there for it. Animals, small children, and I’m sure veterans hate this time of year because it’s extremely disruptive simply to watch some planes fly in the sky.
A beautiful air show and is an amazing experience....the flights air show is really great and sparkles are there...it is for three days and the night time show is very beautiful...
Amazing show!! My son is obsessed with airplanes and we spend the whole day on Sunday at the event. We were amazed by the quality of the show, airplanes, pilots and the whole event structure. Super recommend and we plan to make a family tradition moving forward!

Delicious and beautiful food! Lovely atmosphere, great music, very posh. We made our reservations online. We were greeted in the entrance by two lovely hostesses who very enthusiastically helped to take a photo of me and my partner on our promotion-celebration/date night. It's so great to have a great upscale dining experience in downtown Hillsboro! The servers are very attentive and accommodating. The seating is excellent and helps to give an intimate feel at your own table while still having a very open feeling. The food is kind of spendy, but is consistent with similarly upscale restaurants (to my limited experience). We will definitely be back for future special occasions!
Nice restaurant, friendly personel. I was a little disappointed about the service. I had ordered a beer that didn't come and I had to reorder. Simply forgotten. The main course was too salty.
Delicious! From our tasty drinks (huckleberry lemon drop & Irish old fashion) to incredible entrées (seared king salmon & herb crusted lamb loin) and finished off sharing wonderful flourless chocolate cake. Perfect date night dinner and got a seat outside on a warm spring day to top it off. Highly recommend and will be coming back!
We loved the Venetian experience. The ballroom wasn’t opened so we only got to eat in and see the restaurant. Lovely service. Portland style decor (reminds me of Departure at the Nines). Wonderful small plates (you’ve got to try the cauliflower and Brussel sprouts). We will be back.
The Venetian offered their event space to Aim High for their black belt ceremony. It's a beautiful space. Very clean, with comfortable seating and a great sound system. It's a hidden gem!
Great service , amazing food ! 20/10 !
Great venue for events with excellent lighting and sound systems and plenty of space and a good stage. It also caters food for gatherings and has a dedicated function room besides the main stage space.
Best restaurant in Hillsboro/ Beaverton. The cocktails are incredibly aromatic and unique to the Venetian. Didn’t get any main courses and instead got a few tapas, drinks, and deserts. Highly recommend this establishment. Didn’t feel “stuffy” like you can expect from a restaurant of this caliber is another city.

Great place to go on a walk and see nature. Well maintained trails and places to sit and enjoy the birds singing.
Small parking lot Outside Pit Toilet Satellite mobile toilets in Park Nice wooded trails Lots of ponds with ducks, egrets, heron Lots of wide open exposure areas Sometimes you see deer North Parking lot small / North entrance Spring and summer are very nice Nature center is super check hours Nature center super clean inside Great place to run, walk, birding etc East side of Park the quietest Lots of planes overhead on weekends Water station inside N.C when open.
Well maintained trails withclear signage, ample parking and zero garbage that I saw. The nearest trail (Upland trail) was fully ADA accessible. If only using a cane I would say the entire place is doable, or with an off-road chair. There's a souvenir shop and visitor's center though I didn't check them out this trip. One restroom (one toilet) in a corner of the lot and no garbages along trails so plan for those and enjoy!
Super nice place to take a walk and get some fresh air ! Well marked walking paths . Saw lots of geese and a Nutria Entry is free , plenty of parking
This is a hidden gem for the outdoor enthusiast. Came here during the week and saw all kinds of wildlife, including egrets, great blue heron, nutria, ducks, yellow finch, honey bees, and bumble bees. There is a fun nature center with an authentic bald eagle's nest. The bathrooms are clean. Trails are easy, with no steep inclines, some gravel, and some dirt. There are plenty of overlook sites for viewing birds in the wetlands. Also, it is easy to take short walks or longer ones because the trails loop.
Wonder place to observe wild animal habitats. This place is well taken care of, and is related to OHSU. Saw beautiful birds, flowers. There is a snake habitat there, but could not see any. They also marked the animal habitat locations. Very peaceful place. You won't want to bother the animals. It has a good hiking trail.
Is stunning vista that provide a quick escape from the city. Walk with nature as you encounter a variety of wetland dwelling creature, plants and trees on a peaceful walk.
Always a great place to spend 2-3 hours. The visitor center has some great info. Also worth checking out and adding your own sightings of birds and animals. One of the loops has bird homes all along with beautiful tree swallows and the wetland had cranes, geese and egrets. There were also some wildflowers when we visited. Bring a hat and some sandwiches and enjoy nature.

Excellent dog park! This place was ginormous. Three separate areas, one for all dogs, little dogs and an agility course. They had a really nice gravel trail that looped around the area for all dogs and there were at least 10 poop bag stations through out the park. There was a water station and a porta potty. We stopped here twice it was so nice!
Great dog park for your furry friends! they have two areas, one for smaller dogs, and one for bigger dogs. the only thing i didn’t like about it was the area for the bigger dogs was all gravel, it ended up hurting my pups paws because of the heat. BUT, they do have a very nice large grass area for all pups with some gravel walkways! so that’s where we ended up spending most of our time!
This is like Disneyland for your dog. So clean, thoughtfully laid out, thoroughly maintained & the atmosphere just wonderful. The included photos and videos speak for themselves. Viewing them should answer most questions about this Dog Park. Parking was not an issue for on this early Monday morning. But with only 25-ish parking spots I would imagine this lot would be full on a sunny weekend. There are signs directing people to overflow parking when the circumstances call for it.
Excellent park for dogs. Has a good obstacle course for dogs in a fenced off gravel area. Floods very little when it rains, so great for dogs that need that energy out. The grass hilly field opens seasonally, but is excellent for even the most energetic dog to run around.
I LOVE this dog park❣️ However. There are several people who refuse to pickup after their dogs! Yesterday I saw at least 7 piles of poop, in the large/mixed area. The mentality of people who utilize this beautiful space and leave their dogs poop is baffling! Also. If your dog is running over other dogs, especially dogs smaller than they are, and pinning them down - refusing to allow them to move. This is a behavior problem that owners need to make an effort to correct. It is not your dog wanting to ‘play’ if they do not allow the other dog to find their legs and move.
This is a pretty nice dog park. We’ve gotten relatively lucky and haven’t had many interactions with dogs that shouldn’t be in this kind of environment, however(!!), it’s just a regular dog park. I don’t think people watch or clean up after their pets like they should, but the park itself is pretty nice. There are adequate benches in the grassy area, but the winter area could use a few more. The gravel in the winter area is kind of deep around the left side of the park, and the standing water can smell horrific, but, like I said, it’s a dog park. It’s well maintained and everything seems to be decently take care of. I have two dogs (a pit and a super mutt mix) and they both love the park. Either side. We have not been in the small dog yard ever though.
Nice dog park, sketchy parking lot. I saw a review here regarding the car break-ins which I took with a grain of salt, but within the first week of visiting this place a car was broken into mid day. The family wasn’t away from their vehicle for more than 30 minutes, so I would definitely make sure you don’t leave valuables in your car if you come here.
I would consider Hondo to be the intermediate choice for dog parks in the Orenco Station area - I consider PCC Rock Creek to be the best choice. The area is fairly well used, so it's likely your dog will at least have one other dog to play with there at any given time. Parking is somewhat limited, but there is overflow parking across the street at the stadium at Gate A. There's also the #47 Trimet bus and the free Hillsboro Link that have stops close by. The items that prevent me from viewing Hondo more favorably are: 1) The substantial gap between the small and large dog fence bothers me (I did report this to the city - and I'd encourage others to do so too) 2) Some owners on the small and large side are completely aloof/disinterested in watching their dogs, which is extremely irresponsible of them & potentially a liability if their dog hurts another badly enough. I've had 2 incidents in the small dog side where I've had to remove an attacking dog from my puppy & the owner has done nothing to help. I do know how to remove an attacking dog & am not afraid of doing so, but if you're not used to doing that, you'll be in trouble trying to get your dog away from an attacking one. 3) Some owners bring dogs completely unsuited for or are not allowed in a dog park - like a female dog in heat (that happened once to my knowledge so far), aggressive dogs, or visibly sick dogs. 4) The large dog area frequently has dogs that are aggressive and get into "semi-serious" fights with other dogs - meaning if they weren't broken up, there would've been injury to the dogs involved. I tried taking my puppy into the large dog area twice so far when it's less used & alas, on both occasions she's been bitten too hard by Huskies that don't have enough bite inhibition, so we have to stick to the small dog side. I would not recommend going to the large dog side unless your dog is at least 50 lbs and in good health (like not elderly or disabled) to be able to defend themselves from the larger dogs. If it matters to you, the majority of the large dogs are Huskies, German Shepherds, and American Staffordshire Terriers (aka "Pit Bulls").

Family fun at the ballpark for all! We were guests of a business group for a recent Hops game and we had a ball. It was absolutely beautiful day and we were scanned in and had access to an additional food and beverage lounge in the outfield. Food was fine but their staff was exceptional. Clearly highly invested in the fan experience. It happened to be friendship day at the ballpark so there was lots of Taylor Swift playing and even a friendship bracelet making station in the concourse. We loved all the local food options and I munched on some candied nuts while my friend cooled down with an açai bowl. Of course they had lots of traditional ballpark food, but I was pleasantly impressed by the alternative options. We had great seats a few rows up from the visitors dugout. Over all a great outing for a large group or a family day.
Staying in town for a night so decided to take in a game. Single A ball at Triple A prices ($17 dollars for a reserved bleacher seat). My seat was the top row of section 2 ($20 dollars) and had to lean forward to get a good view of the plate. The handicap row deck partially blocked the view. The safety net pole partially blocked the view as well The ballpark is lacking despite opening in 2013. The third base side backs up to the Hillsboro Stadium. The Hops uses the stadium concessions/bathrooms. Gives it an old run down feeling to the park. The 1st base side concessions/bathrooms look they are built out of conex boxes. Team is building a new stadium that opens in 2026 so hopefully it's better.
Visiting Hillsboro Ballpark was a great experience, the atmosphere was the best. We've attended the very last game at this venue and that made it extra special. I'm sure the new venue will be as fun as this one is/was!
Wow, this is an incredible minor league field. After only going to the funko field for aquasox, this felt like a major league field. Great food options and plenty of seating. We sat in the grass under the trees. The other grassy side filled up really quickly. The Sox won, so it was a great game all around. We also went to a wine night and had a great time.
First time watching a Hops game last night and it was a HOPS WIN! We also enjoyed a Drone Show afterwards. What a fun atmosphere. Just wish it was adjacent to a Max stop. Too far out in the ‘burbs though but overall a good time.
Great game and section 4 was perfect for us - no sun in your eyes, open air above w nice breeze, fireworks were straight in front of us. Fun that the fireworks are every Friday! Although 2026, the new stadium will be hosting Hops games. Curious to know what games this stadium will be hosting next year
Really good seating with good views everywhere. The staff was super kind and helped me find my water bottle that I left behind. They even had fireworks!
What a lame joke. The last 4 years would have been 5 stars. 2025 super lame. Apparently new management and pyro people really brought the 4th down. Can't sit by the practice field any longer. Forced many people to sit dangerously close to the road, with half hearted caution tape thrown up. The parking attendants from 7pm-10pm were causing chaos in the streets with drivers and pedestrians. To top it off the fireworks were lack luster to previous years. Wont be heading back.

Great Oregon Farm Experience. It’s a total vibe and it’s close to Hillsboro, Beaverton and Sherwood. We had a great time, looking at everything that they had to offer from fresh picked fruit and berries and vegetables to plant some flowers. They have really handy carts. Parking is plentiful and once you get inside, there’s just so much to look at. This is a great place to pick up a new apron and some matching oven mitts. They have various styles of aprons, but I like the solid colored ones in the video. They were very very cool. I will say that the blueberries were not very good. I would just go ahead and pick my own. Everything is beautiful and it’s quite a magnificent display of all of the wonderful artisan treasures that are produced locally.
Super cute place, a handful of fresh fruit and veg and lots of gifty things inside. Great place to find gifts for friends or yourself. Several local things, but make sure to check if you specifically want local! Staff was friendly and helpful and store was beautifully laid out.
We had lots of fun here. Came at the end of summer and picked some of the yellow raspberries and cherry tomatoes. They were super delicious. Also loved the options here, there are multiple u pick produce areas, u pick flowers, animals to feed, and an adorable farm store! The staff were very friendly as well!
Another great visit at the Smith Berry Barn! Apples were picked and so were tomatoes. We fed the goats and chickens (bring some quarters so you can too) from the food dispensary. There is a hand wash station close by, so don't be afraid of a little goat slobber! They do have a bathroom available too. This is a great place to bring the whole family! Check out their website to see what's available for picking and their hours. They have a shop too. You can buy ice cream and other goodies. If you have some gift shopping to do, you can find great items here also. I highly recommend visiting here.
I come here with my small kiddos every fall for the apples, pumpkins, produce, and shopping. The shop is adorable and I always find great gifts! The staff is very helpful. The grounds are beautiful!
Wow. What a stunning farm. Take my money. This is absolutely going to be a new family tradition. We came from Southern California to visit my mother and took them to go apple picking here. We had a fabulous time. I wish they opened at 9 am, so my 2 year old could make it through more stuff, BUT everything we did was awesome. Apple picking, eating ice cream, feeding the animals, playing on the hay playhouse. This is a big YES for us.
Loved this farm, they had a good selection of fruit and veggies for the season and you could also do a u-pick. Their gift shop is so cute with lots of cute things, I bought a pair of earrings which I love and it was so unique since it was from a local artist. Their Marionberry pie was so yummy and prices are reasonable. Will definitely go back.
Smith Berry Barn is an incredible property. They truly have captured the best of all worlds on a functioning U-Pick farm, plus retail shop, plus produce stand, plus indoor and outdoor plants, plus sitting area, plus ice cream shop! Haha. It has everything. We found there house plants to be perfect for our home. The fresh produce was incredible and delicious, and the kiddos got fresh ice cream to temper there boredom. If you do have a chance to go, take your time…see everything. Call ahead and see what is ripe in the fields and try to go on the weekdays instead of the busy weekends. You will thank me, they are so popular!!

Excellent center. The warm water pool was really good and kid friendly. Very reasonable price for in-district and out-of-district guests. The shallow end of the warm water pool is less than 2 feet deep which is ideal for younger kids. The dive area, lap swim area and outdoor pool are also fantastic especially in the summer. They also have a variety of different classes for children and adults.
Rating went from 5 to a 2...the outdoor pool schedule is kind of weird. The main part of the day it is closed for swim practice Also the girl said since I live in Portland, Or instead of Hillsboro than it would be 9$ instead of 6$ that I paid when I went last time. That is a sure fire way of not having me come out to the pool for sure!
I really appreciate the classes they have for babies and kids. I'd like for there to be separate saunas for women and men. Steam rooms too.
My kids love to swim. I prefer not too swim but will here. This is a nice place with great staff. The locker rooms are nice. Pool always seems clean.
Best Place to workout at the Gymnasium! Could get my heart-rate up to 145 bpm! 😄👍 But the rules apply here that you can’t quad swim here within the pool! Medicare Insurance Eligibility!
The "All gender rooms" need to switch back to family changing rooms. The line this afternoon was insane. Just a bunch if single users using it as a private changing room. While my 2 young daughters and I waited for 15 minutes before I got fed up and told my daughters to go to the lady's locker room and get changed while I waited at the door for them.
Swim swim swim... And love gym and classes too! They have everything from classes for my mom all the way down to baby. SHARC has taught my son over the years to swim, socialize in playroom, and movement with kids summer dance classes. Well the baby is 10 and is now on Hillsboro Heat Swim Team. Thank you SHARC family!
It has 3 pools and 1 hot tub. 1 slide inside and 2 outside. Lots of diving boards. Overall it in excellent.

My first time up here on a rainy day, and just needed a break from being overstimulated. The country drive itself is lovely and then you get up here and it's breathtaking. I didn't check out much other than a park bench near the top round about/parking area. There was only two cars around but it was an odd time of day with rough weather. Stunning though and will be back.
Exactly as described. This is a viewpoint. This small park has some conveniently located picnic tables, a beautiful view to the west, and some short (informal, unmaintained) trails through the trees. This is not a dog park. It's not a children's play area. This is not vast acreage with miles of maintained hike-worthy trails. It's a viewpoint. It is quite lovely and I will surely be back. For the view. That's what it's got. There's no reason to complain about all the things it doesn't have, it does not offer those things nor advertise them. My only negative observation is that some downed trees or branches have only been partially cleaned up (as of March, 2025), making the south end of the park difficult to access. I'm sure it's temporary. Nice spot for a picnic or a few minutes to just get away to reflect, even on a foggy, rainy day.
Always a great stop. The viewpoint gives you a wide open, scenic look across the valley, and the curvy road leading up to it makes the drive just as enjoyable as the destination. A simple spot, but always worth pulling over for the view.
No trails that we could see. The view is beautiful but that's it. It's not a maintained park and there's very little parking. The park is very tiny.
Beautiful place in our own backyard and we are all running to Rome, Tokyo, Paris, London! I rode my motorcycle up there this week. Having lived in Portland for four decades I didn't know about this place! Well, Chat GPT wasn't born when I moved to Oregon! So, off I go to Bald Peak. Loved it. Met some fellow bike riders and then headed to Henry Hagg Lake, another treasure unknown to a native Oregonian! Shame on me:) For those complaining about limited facilities, pleaseeeeeee, do your bit by maintaining these beautiful nooks and corners of our country. Parks and USDA have had budget cuts. They have their own limitation to maintain State and national parks. And, for those pet lovers, please pick up behind your do! Go and enjoy the gift of nature we Oregonians are blessed with.
Thos state park has some incredible views, a clean restroom facility.
The sunrise here is absolutely breathtaking. When we arrived, we were lucky enough to see the fog gently covering the valley below, creating a magical and unforgettable scene. The combination of the rising sun and the mist over the mountains made the view truly spectacular. This spot is definitely worth visiting early in the morning for one of the best experiences in nature.
Nice spot for a picnic. View is limited by trees. Several picnic tables. Free paved parking. Garbage cans. Relatively clean restrooms with pit toilets. No water.

We have a very pleasant visit & tasting as Oak Knoll. My husband and I both tasted different wines, his were sweet and white mines were reds. The reserve was very good but we ended up with a "Girls are Meaner" as a gift for my MIL She'll love it We had the last reservation time on a Friday and we had the place to ourselves, though it is the weekend before Christmas and I know they've had events other days around this one.
This is truly a hidden gem in Hillsboro. The whole staff, especially Kim and Rachel are amazing. They provide the best service and the most welcoming environment. I strongly recommend becoming a member here. Unlike other wineries, the monthly membership $ (point) gets accumulated that could be used for purchases. They have amazing events for the whole family. 100% recommend Oak Knoll winery
This peaceful winery offers an exceptional experience for visitors. The tastings and bottles are priced very reasonably, making it accessible to all. You can savor your selections in the lovely outdoor seating area provided. It's an ideal setting to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Overall, this winery is a delightful destination for wine enthusiasts and casual visitors alike.
Excellent weather to go to a winery. There are hundreds of vineyards around Oregon, and I try to take the time to check some of them out when possible. This year however we’ve made it more of a priority. This one is right close to our home (about 15 minutes away). One of my all time favorite wines is the Toasted Cow White Blend from Oak Knoll. Sweet but not too sweet and light and refreshing, perfect for a Summer’s day. Highly recommend.
Great experience! Great wine selections, snacks, and entertainment for the kids! We became wine club members before our visit and really enjoyed our wine choices. Friendly people. Thank you! Look forward to enjoying good wine for many years in the future!
Loved my visit here! Enjoyed all 6 wines I tasted plus ordered a glass. Rachel was welcoming and knowledgable. Thank you Oak Knoll!
Very nice grounds, the staff is young but very nice. Our wait was pretty long and the staff seemed to be a little too busy to give us much time to explain things. The wine was good but not great. We may try it again and hope we have a better visit.
$15/flight of 6 wines and choose your own flight too! Live events Fridays. Very informative for any questions you have. You get your flight at once, so it is nice to try wines and be able to have a good conversation. Every wine was good, some had amazing smells and flavors.

Loved coming here! It was a cozy and intimate vibe for our wine tasting, Derek was an amazing host and really made it special. We can't wait to go back again!
John was awesome... I learned alot and my husband learned to enjoy wine...tonight he actually shared a bottle with me!
The wine was amazing, and we throughly enjoyed the tasting and tour! My wife and I had a blast. The staff and John (the owner) were very friendly, accommodating, and insightful. We learned a lot and can’t wait to go back. Looking forward to next time, and highly recommend!
Helvetia wines is a complete gem. The staff is great and very knowledgeable about the workings on the land. We were very exited to meet the owner John and honestly spent a half an hour just asking questions and getting to know each other. Bonus moment was when he told us that if we were flying Alaskan Airlines, they will ship up to 12 bottles for free. I could have cried in that moment as they can not ship to my home state. A Family owned business is great to support and they really make you feel appreciated.
We had a wonderful experience with John. The tour was extremely informative, and the tasting and pairings were delightful. This vineyard has a very intimate and rustic charm, and the wines were delicious and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!
We had a charming visit at Helvetia. The wine was delicious, the setting was relaxing and beautiful, the staff very friendly. It was down to earth and unpretentious, unlike many tastings. The resident puppy was a major bonus. I would go again if I'm ever in the area again.
We had such lovely time. Jo and John greeted us as we came up the steps of their darling, historic winery. We had so much fun learning about Brix, their history and tasting their delicious wines. We look forward to booking a full winery tour next time.
Dog friendly. Great wines. Down a few dirt roads near farms. Easy parking and lots of seating. 1920 Sears catalog home, awesome. Everyone was so nice. 3 farm dogs come by to visit. Tasting fee is waived by purchasing a bottle. No one left empty handed. Highly recommend. They prefer a reservation but if you ask really nice on the phone before you get there they might have availability and say "Sure come on by".

Formerly known as 53rd Avenue Park before the monkey park was built across the street. This is a nice park to come to on a hot day to beat hot heat by water fountains. Bathrooms and water fountains available. Great entertainment for kids.
Love this park! Its beautiful all year around but is especially pretty in the spring. Lots of blooming trees and flowers. Fantastic play area for young and old alike. There is a ground fountain to play in during the summer. Absolutely amazing soccer field and great tennis courts and basketball courts. I love living across the street from this gem.
Soccer field may need reservations ahead of time Official games in progress during seasons Two full size soccer Turf fields Plenty of parking Tennis and pickle ball courts Basketball courts Restrooms Potter pottys Turf gets extremely hot on sunny days and heat can be felt through shoes Kids play area Water fountains Overall a nice place community deserves
Lots of easy access parking, the playground and a stage are sandwiched by sports fields and tennis courts. It's conveniently located within walking distance for a couple neighborhoods and is easy to get to for those driving in. The grounds and equipment are well maintained though the bathrooms are still "closed for winter" and the portable handwriting stations have neither soap nor water which is why I didn't give 5 stars.
A wonderful community park with something for everyone. There are sports fields for baseball, soccer, playgrounds for children of all ages and a dancing water fountain for kids to run amok as the water spurts from their feet into various heights rhythmically. A clean restroom and Activity Center too. My personal favorite is the combination 2 Tennis and 6 Pickleball courts. Hidden Creek Community Pickleball HAD a fabulous volunteer run Pickleball program which the City abandoned. It gave folks a scheduled program so beginners and advanced players could learn and enjoy this awesome game. Now it's open play, first come, first serve. Hidden Creek East is across the street from the new Hidden Creek Community Center and the Hidden Creek West playgrounds and amenities that ate noteworthy too. There is something for everyone!
Tons of easy, FREE parking. Giant splash pad with amphitheater style seating. Clean restrooms and shaded picnic tables. Loads of open grass for picnicking and play. Playground has 2 traditional swings, 2 toddler swings, and 2 disc style. Sand pit, climbing rocks (not a rock walk), large slide, and merry-go-round/rope climbing structure. Most of this playground is climbing, and I would say is geared towards 5-10 yr olds. There are also two small seesaws. Sports camps hosted in adjoining fields. Tennis and basketball courts available as well.
Interesting art and the "merry-go-climb" is a fascinating feature. The top of the hill gives an excellent vantage point to view both sides of the play area.
This is the best park we've been to!! So much fun and even with it busy there is plenty for the kids to do.

A fabulous shop! Great place to get a gift for yourself or someone else! Gourmet chocolate counter & items from over 50 local artisans!
I can’t believe places like this are even able to stay in business with the way they treat people.
Good selection of local art and cards from local artists. Nice local chocolates, but I prefer Study of Sweets around the corner. Good caramel popcorn. NOT wheelchair friendly or accessible! If you are mobility-impaired, bring an abled friend to roam the shop for you! Harry Potter n international candy section. Pricey!
Cute gift shop with a variety of collections to look at. Couldn’t spend much time since I went in just 30mins before store closing time but will visit again. Great place to shop for if you want to gift ‘Oregon’ related gifts to friends/family who are visiting.
I love this place! When I worked near by a co worker and I would always walk here on lunch get a chocolate and a lavender lemonade (soooo gooood) and it just made long days the best. Stop by!!
Sue the co-owner was lovely and helped me find a gift. The store is a great part of Downtown Hillsboro. Sue told me The Candy Basket (their candy line) has been part of Downtown Hillsboro for over a hundred years since 1914.
My goodness the chocolate here is fantastic. Try the peanut butter crunch bar. Try the seafoam. Try the maple cream. Try it all because it's some of the best chocolate you can get anywhere hands-down.
This place is like the best candy shop ever there are a lot of goods that are famous in other country's !!1 so I give this place 5 stars!!!

Incredible service by the staff Incredibly dedicated, kind and hardworking staff Incredible servitude towards the community Incredible programs for educating all age groups Incredible experience using the library on site, digitally, Spacious Parking lot with electric car charging ports Books, large prints, magazines, music, movies, games, documentaries, lessons, courses, Audiobooos in CDDVDs, Blue-Ray, digital streaming formats! One can even reserve study or meeting rooms which are professionally designed and facilitated. Library of things avails all kinds of necessary items one can try and use at home such a robotic kits, air monitors, musical instruments, kitchen ware, toys, metal finder, infrared camera etc etc. Please use the library responsibly because it's one of the most precious gift to the community from our tax dollars. Thank you America for the Library, Books, the Space, Facilities, and for keeping the wisdom, knowledge, history alive in this world! Not to mention, the outside of library is also superbly enriched with beautiful landscapes and artificial lakes. Come watch and feed ducks, geese etc.
This is the most amazing library! You'll find reservable study and conference rooms, art gallery, Collaboratory, Library of Things, free access to newspaper and magazines online, Adventure Pass for free admission to many local attractions, free access to DuoLingo, free movies online, Job Builder, classes and events, and much more!
My favorite library! Very clean, updated, friendly environment. I love that you can book study rooms. Tons of seating. Kid friendly and activities going on all the time.
Top notch library with excellent study and collaboration spaces and amazing view of a small lake. I use this space to do focused and inspirational work. You can borrow many different types of tools (and even musical instruments!) I also love the collaboratory space with sewing machines and 3D printers. This place offers so much more than your average library. I love it here!
It is one of the most beautiful and modern county libraries I have been to. The librarian is knowledgeable and friendly. She helped to create a library card with no issues. I found a variety of books across many subjects and languages. There is a kid's playground and silent space. Love coming to this library for studying and working
I call it - Treasure Island 🏝 Honesty, the library has changed my life, I have learned so much and prosper in my professional life. My best place - always to find books and read over the weekend. My recommendation to everyone- please visit this place, go to online and find great books, borrow it. Go to Amazon website, find top sellers in categories that suits your interest and find in the library. You will love this 😀
This is our main location and has an amazing selection of THINGS! You can also browse their online catalog and reserve an item to look at before checking it out. They’ve recently diversify their selection by including adaptive toys and tech solutions for children and teens with disabilities. Their collaboratory maker space is also really nice, though they recently discontinued their laser cutter due to safety concerns, though. They’ve upgraded some of their 3-D printers, so they have nicer ones. Unfortunately, you can only use them during library hours, so large projects cannot be done overnight.
A beautiful library with a WIDE selection of books! And they will automatically extend your check out for your book if you didn’t turn it in the first 30 days you’ve had it! Its perfect because I am so forgetful when it comes to dates. This saved me a fee! They also have a wide selection of general appliances you can check out. I haven’t seen that anywhere, so when I saw it here, I was genuinely impressed! Everyone is super kind as well. Thank you for all you do ! ❤️
