Park

Sports & recreation area for jogging, volleyball, basketball, tennis, roller hockey & more.
Slide 1 of 8
When you look up community in the dictionary there's a picture of this park next to the definition. It's lively at all times of the day with people playing softball, soccer, walking the perimeter of the park or just chilling in the grass.
Wilson park is spacious and pleasant on a day with a breeze. On a hot day with no breeze you may see the fires of hell. In general it is a well maintained relief from concrete and steel unless,...Unless you show up on the day that a homeless gentleman decides to cook a deceased sea lion on a bbq. Google that if you are so inclined. In closing, enjoy the ducks and the mini trains if they are open and if your asada or hotdogs taste fishy, you may have found the wrong bbq.
One of my new favorite places to go. I had visited the park many times over the last 15 years since I was invited to a birthday celebration there and although I live in Carson, it's just two miles from my home. In June of this year I was walking in the park and I heard the sounds of a train. That's when I saw the small train that runs twice a month over that track alongside the south end of the park. I love a train ride. I've told some local residents I know with small children that they should check it out. Last week I was in need of a place to walk that would have shade because of the August heat. I'm getting ready to walk in the Labor Day Parade for 2½ - 3 miles straight so I wanted to be prepared. I did :45 minutes the first day with my sister-in-law, a long time local resident unaware of the park's amenities. I've gone back now for 4 days straight before I saw the signage that has the .91 mile for the walking path which I appreciated seeing and thus confirming I need 3 laps and most of it is shaded by 5p. I love how well maintained the park is and it always feels like a welcoming and safe place whether I'm with someone else or alone.
The Torrance Farmers Market is on Tuesdays. Very fresh fruits and vegetables are available. To be honest, the fruit seems to have less pesticide residue than at other markets. I really enjoy Mushroom Culture for the variety of mushrooms they carry.
I loved it there, if you want to tire down your little ones, this should be your favorite place, one of the biggest parks I have seen, it also offers free train rides. (days are the 1st Sunday of each month (11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) and the 3rd Saturday of each month (12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.). Not forgetting a splash pad, so don’t forget swimming suits for the little ones.
I like to visit the farmer's market on Tuesdays and Saturdays, similarly to Downtown Long Beach on Fridays, and I walk on the tracks for the walkers, runners, and even seniors.
Great walking path (just under a mile distance). A Farmers market pops up every Tuesday and Saturday morning. It’s very popular so come earlier to avoid circling for parking. Great splash pad for the summer, play ground and treehouse are fun, but also get very crowded.
This is a cool park I was here for an open Concert family oriented nice group 😀 good music friendly people I forgot to bring a Jacket and it was Cold good thing we brought 2 blankets a couple of Chairs and don't forget your favorite drink and snacks.

Shopping mall
Shopping
Large mall offers trendy retailers, restaurants & a theater, plus a garden-inspired dining pavilion.
Slide 1 of 8
Del Amo Fashion Center is one of the best shopping destinations in Southern California. With a perfect blend of high-end retailers, popular brands, and unique local shops, it offers something for everyone. The mall is spacious, clean, and well-designed, making for a comfortable shopping experience. Beyond shopping, Del Amo has a fantastic selection of dining options, from casual bites to upscale restaurants. Whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee or sitting down for a meal, there’s plenty of variety. The outdoor areas and modern architecture add to the upscale feel, making it a great place to spend an afternoon. Parking is generally easy, with plenty of spaces and valet options. The mall also hosts seasonal events, making it more than just a shopping center—it’s a true community hub. If you’re in the area, Del Amo Fashion Center is definitely worth a visit!
This mall is huge. It took us so long to walk around. I love the different variety of stores. But I think it’s missing a big nike store. So many food stores, so many restaurants and the outside is amazing. You can go and hang out with your friends and your family. Have a good time. Spend some money and go home with some race stuff. This is my first time here so I’m very impressed.
Del Amo Fashion Center is amazing! It’s a huge mall with all types of stores and so many restaurants. It’s the perfect place to walk, shop, and grab a bite — whether you’re alone or with family. The mall is safe, beautiful, and just a great everyday spot for all your needs. I recently went with my husband, and we spent about 4 hours walking around, eating, and shopping. What a fantastic experience! I absolutely love this mall and highly recommend it. I’ll always go back!
This place gives good deals. 130.00 for 1200 points. Awesome place for family. We spent 3 hours and our grandkids came home with lil toys and candy, even got free balls for each grandkid. They played hungry hippo, rode motorcycles etc. Friendly family atmosphere. Service was available asap. Staff were friendly and understood when my grandson cracked a glass. The only complaint would be handicap parking. Definitely need more spaces. I had to walk a ways to get there in the rain. All in all my family had a great time
Large, spacious, and clean. Easy to find parking. Good variety of stores to look at and find something for everybody!
Freaking awesome, huge mall! It goes on forever. Went to shop at Animate, found all kinds of cool shops and food. The outdoor shopping area is really nice, too.
This mall is like another world! Not only historical, but also one of the biggest in the world!! This mall offers excellent food, if all different cultural standings. And has everything you need from high quality tailored, to gadgets, and jewelry. Ask to see the private selection if you know what I mean for high end custom jewelry. The service her is always friendly and the place is spotless. Kids love the giant Jenga, chess. And connect four pieces in the courtyard, there is also a train that the kids can ride with their parents! Not to mention some celebrys have been known to hang around. There is also a game of clue always in hand for the sleuths out there! My best friend died here last March, that was her last wish, so I know she's a happy now. Two thumbs up maybe I can enjoy this jem till my last days. Thank you
I’ve been visiting Del Amo Fashion Center for years now, and it consistently remains one of my go-to destinations for shopping for myself, my mother, and my granddaughter. I love that the anchor store Macy’s is located right inside—so when I’m browsing for women’s apparel or home goods, it’s super convenient. The women’s clothing section has absolutely stepped up: I find pieces that feel current and elevated, yet still accessible. For my granddaughter, there are cute kids’ lines and fun accessories that make it easy to treat her and keep things fresh. And for my mom, I enjoy browsing home-goods and lifestyle areas that make it more than just “clothes shopping.” The variety of stores truly shines. Whether I’m hunting for a stylish coat, the perfect pair of shoes, or even a “just because” gift for my granddaughter, the mall delivers. I recently dipped into the home décor section at Crate & Barrel – South Bay inside Del Amo, and it was fantastic—two levels of furniture, lighting, housewares, and décor that gave me serious inspiration. For apparel, I appreciate how I can browse women’s fashion, kids’ fashion, and pick up something for my mother—all in one outing. When it comes to dining, Del Amo doesn’t disappoint. The marketplace of restaurants is plentiful—from casual eats to more sit-down experiences. I especially like stopping at Luna Grill for a light, healthy Mediterranean bite mid-shop, which is located right in the mall. For the more relaxed, family dinner outing, there are great full-service restaurants as well: in fact, the mall lists a broad dining directory including places like North Italia and Outback Steakhouse to round out the options. It’s so nice to make a full day of it—shop, break for something tasty, then maybe another store or two. I also want to highlight that Del Amo provides more than just retail and food. If you’re looking to treat yourself, there’s a dedicated space for it: Pure Foot Spa & Massage in the Outdoor Village section offers massage and rejuvenating treatments right there at the mall. It’s a lovely bonus when you’re doing “mom + granddaughter + self” shopping and you want to pause for a relaxing moment. Parking and access are smooth as well. The mall is spacious, well-maintained, and the layout makes it easy to get between stores—for example from Macy’s or Crate & Barrel to the kids’ section and dining areas without feeling like you’re trekking forever. The ambiance is inviting for all ages, which is a big plus when you’re shopping across generations (mom, granddaughter, self). I feel comfortable taking my mother and daughter there, and we each find something to enjoy. In summary: Del Amo Fashion Center has grown into a full-service, multi-generational shopping destination. It’s got the brand variety for women’s and kids’ fashion, thoughtful selections for home goods, reliable dining to keep everyone happy, and even spa-style services if you want to low-key treat yourself. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to make a day of shopping, dining, and spending quality time with family. Five stars.

Real & model aircraft in a museum devoted to the history of aviation in Southern California.

This is a gem of a museum. They have some interesting stuff, much of it from Northrop Grumman, including one of only two YF-23 fighter competition prototypes. They have an F-5 you can sit in, and it's in great condition. Their docents are excellent -- cheerful, knowledgeable, and eager to share their knowledge and point out interesting nuances of the museum's collection.
Pretty good small museum. Note that it's confusing to find the entrance—you gotta go through the metal gate. The guide was reserved but knew what he was talking about and we got pictures in the cockpit of one of the fighters.
Charming place, though limited in exhibits considering the $10 entry fee. The highlight was our guide—kind, knowledgeable, and generous with his explanations
Very small museum. Had to go through locked gate to get in. Kinda feels weird. Staff did excellent job leading a tour when requested. Opened a bunch of stuff up and allowed us to sit in displays.
A great museum for any airplane or aerospace enthusiast. The YF-23 (PAV 2) is the main feature here. The $10 donation for admittance was well worth it. There was also an F5, A4, etc. The museum is inside of two large aircraft hangars and you could easily spend about an hour walking through and taking photos. The other reviews mention the locked gate, but forget to mention that the staff buzz you in right away, it’s no inconvenience at all. It makes sense given it’s inside of an airport.
Really interesting little museum. Some unique exhibits and had a fascinating tour from young Johnathon. Good luck with your aviation career John.
A nice though small aviation museum focusing on the aviation companies of Southern California. They have several interesting aircraft and numerous artifacts.
Tucked by the airport, it’s a compact hangar filled with aircraft and great stories from volunteers. You can stand right up close to cockpits and components. Parking is straightforward in the lot. Plan on an hour unless you get hooked by a docent’s tales—easy to do. The gift corner has unique patches and small models. Perfect stop before or after a South Bay lunch.

Wowwweee! What a beautiful place to hold an event !!! 😍 The Patio with its Shade Sailes and a Stage, plus a room off the patio, held millions of Beautiful Dresses, & pants sets. Easy parking. An overall beautiful day 🌞 I suggest this place highly for any Club event
Every year Andy & Renee and the band Hard Rain welcome other musical guests for their annual "Dylanfest". It is the most fun as the performers start at 12:30 and play all day!
Oh boy. You guys would not believe how much fun I had with the Torrance Cultural Arts Center’s AniFest 2023 event. First of all, my mom and dad bought the tickets first before we went to the event, we ate at Denny’s and then we move on to the event. From there are tons of people doing cosplay of their favorite anime characters, including video game characters or characters from different franchises, just waiting line until the center opens. After the event opens, I guess I showed them my purchase and we got our badges. We went walking around and purchasing stuff that is anime related be it fan books, figures, statues and badges, even retro games can be found and purchased as well; not to mention the Touhou franchise, now made by fans! Power to the REAL fans! Also, there’s a Japanese garden where you can relax after a good, long walk and you can see the fish in a very small pond. Unfortunately, I didn’t take pictures of the fish and the garden itself😅. Missed opportunity, I guess. You can even ask cosplayers to take pictures with you while on your journey to make fun memories with your friends and family. There is a ton of stuff to explore more, but we have to stop somewhere. Overall, the Torrance Cultural Arts Center and its event, AniFest 2023, are the one and two places you might want to check it out. Can’t wait to see you guys again. #Anime #Manga #LightNovel #VisualNovel #Tokusatsu #Japan🇯🇵 #JapaneseCulture #DramaCD #Vtuber #VirtualYoutuber #Vocaloid #Otaku #FanService #Kawaii #Gyaru #Waifu #Husbando #SourceMaterial 👍
Very nice place to visit and enjoy a show. My kid performed and facility is very well located, easy access and beautiful views from all seats. Enjoy your visit!
I came here for a small community theater performance and was impressed by the setup. The space is well-maintained and feels much nicer than you’d expect for local productions. Parking was free and easy, which is always a win in LA County. They also host art exhibits and cultural festivals throughout the year. It’s a great reminder that Torrance has more going on than just shopping plazas
Took my niece to the ANIFEST 2023 and we had a blast. Many different vendors awesome food trucks, anime art everywhere from shirts to beautiful posters can't wait to frame hers to begin her collection. Beautiful hologram stickers, key chains, collector dolls from $35 -$300 - manga books, plushies and more plus everyone looking amazingly cool in their outfits.
A beautiful space for performances and events. The theater has good acoustics and comfortable seating. Staff is professional and organized. Parking is easy and close by. A great place to catch a local show
It was a beautiful awesome place to visit... I really love it.. next time I will visit in morning time...

The museum is a true cultural gem. FREE, but reservations are required. The escort was knowledgeable, funny, and answered a litany of questions. A friend found it online and we were surprised this world-class collection is hiding in plain sight in Torrance. FREE. I have to tick buying tickets ahead of time because reservations are required! Well worth the visit.
This small and exquisite museum surprisingly seems to have the most extensive collection of Chinese artifacts on the West Coast. Dr. Chen’s taste is commendable. The enthusiastic guides make the experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone interested in Chinese culture to book a visit!
I recently took a small group of 7th grade art students to this very impressive gallery, and even though the tour was an hour and a half, the students were very interested and had lots of questions! The docents and employees are incredibly nice and accommodating. They accommodated my group last minute when other plans fell through, and I'm so grateful because this turned out to be much better! What an incredible collection of artifacts, the largest collection outside of Asia, apparently, with many artifacts dating back thousands of years. Definitely recommend!
Life changing experience 90 minute guided tour 5000 years of history revealed in art treasures. Come to learn and value their culture and achievements. My favorite lesson was the time that Mongolian victory in war led to embracing the culture and insisting on keeping the Chinese language and bringing balance of leaders to work together for the good of all. What an opportunity to inspire the world today that the example has been set and lessons from the past are needed to be valued and taught today. Reservations required :review Google for number to call (tour is free )but advance call is a must
The most amazing collection of ancient Chinese artifacts anywhere outside of China. Also a large collection of Picasso sketches and other European art. The docent was fantastic. A must do experience.
This museum has a private collection housed in the Sunrise office building owned by Mr. Chen. The collection includes furniture, jade, porcelain, and statues. The breadth and quality is truly amazing. It is open only Tuesday through Friday with tours at 10 and 2. The tour guides are experts employed by the museum. Tours are free, but reservations are required. We were with a group of 8. I don't know what the maximum tour size is.
Absolutely AMAZING collection of Chinese artifacts, furniture, jade, porcelain, etc. This exhibit is FREE. Dr. Chen keeps adding to his collection, now adding more European items. There is even a gallery for 50+ Picasso originals! The tour is about 1.5-2 hours. No places to sit or to take a bathroom break, just to let you know
This museum is absolutely INCREDIBLE! And FREE! You would never expect it, since it's in a business building in Torrance. The pieces are awe-inspiring, especially the Jade dragon that is 5,500 years old! In addition to amazing Chinese art there is also a wonderful collection of Picassos and Matisses. You get an awesome 2 hour guided tour by an expert, so you also learn a lot!

Love that they have variety, it's not just IPAs but they have stouts and sours. They have an adorable cat named Gracie that may make an appearance and todd is an awesome beertender. My husband and I enjoyed the beer and chats we had at smog city.
Smog City, Torrance, is a great place to get together. Excellent craft beers, atmosphere, and solid service. They have great music guests and food vendors are on point. It's a hidden gem in Torrance. I highly recommend stopping by when you're in the area.
I have driven by this place so many times but never actually stopped in. My wife was looking for a funky beer and we checked their availabile draft list online and saw a bunch of beers that fit the description. We were greeted by a friendly staff, ample seating inside and out, and a bbq food truck offering food options. We got a few tastings of fruited beers including a fizzy white peach, apricot farmhouse style ale, and a plum saison style. They were all tart and delicious! We got a couple of pints to enjoy at the tasting room. I was also really impressed by their togo beer prices. Four packs were about $14-18 depending on style. This is pretty low for 4-packs in my experience. We'll def be checking it out again.
In Torrance and just had to come check out Smog City. This place has the best staff, the ladies serving us really knew their beers. We got a couple of tasting flights and ticked off a few of the new releases. If you’re in the area visiting Monkish definitely worth checking out.
Nice place to grab a tasty beer or two and read a book on the weekend. Opens at noon. Food trucks rotate through. Dog friendly, grab a water dish and some treats and hangout for few...
Another great brewpub in Torrance. Very friendly staff, I felt at home here even if it was the first time I've been here. Lots of variety and styles of beer, with plenty of barrel aged, fruit infused beers, but well balanced, so it doesn't get too cloying. Plenty of beers to go in the fridge. I really enjoyed it here.
Yet another great brewery in Torrance! Big selection of locally made brews at this fully operational micro-brewery. Great outdoor seating but also indoor seating. A variety of food trucks stop by, so always something new to munch on. As for the beers, I bought a split four pack of the coffee porter and lager real. They are both outstanding...you must try those!
Took friends for a tasting flight—citrusy IPA and a rich imperial stout. Light industrial-chic taproom. Food trucks parked outside. Bartenders passionate and informed. Loved the weekend live blues.

There’s a wonderful variety of certified organic fruits and vegetables sourced from local farmers, showcasing seasonal treasures and nourishing food. I truly encourage you to visit; it’s a delightful experience that supports our community and promotes well-being!
THIS PLACE IS MY JAM!!! I LOVE IT If you're looking for quality farmers selling their goods, visit Saturdays and Tuesdays 8a-1/2p not sure when they close cause I go early. The egg line is infamous and worth the wait. Such good, fresh eggs there. I pay just under a buck per egg 🥚 The hot food options are great here as well. Stop by and visit the baked potato guy. They will load it up for you. Or have a fresh fruit juice, which always hits the spot. Fresh pizza, tamales, peanuts, popcorn, donuts, breakfast options and many more! I JUST LOVE THIS PLACE....
Great selection of produce and non-produce items. I like how it's organized with food trucks in one section, produce/farm fresh foods in one section, and non-produce/farm fresh foods in one section; makes it easy to navigate based on your needs. The vendors are all pretty chill.
Great variety of fruits and vegetables. They also give plenty of free samples.
It’s not the biggest market, but it has a great mix of produce and small local vendors. I bought some organic strawberries that tasted like candy and chatted with a vendor selling handmade soap. There's live music sometimes and plenty of space to walk around. Great atmosphere, friendly vendors, and plenty of free parking. I love how community-focused it feels.
Love this place! They have a great selection of vendors on Tuesdays and even larger one on Saturdays. I love doing all my groceries for the week here and grabbing a bite from the food vendors while listening to live music. Get the best eggs ever from the big eggs stall up in front. La Bahn Ranch. You'll never want to eat any other eggs again.
Best farmer’s market in Southbay. I don’t live in Torrance anymore, but I still visit on Saturdays to get some snacks and produce.
Super busy market, lots of traffic, almost impossible to find nearby parking. Lots of great vendors. Restrooms are available within the park center. Great for people watching as well since it's at the park.

First thing first this place is so beautiful. My sister and I both found this place so healing for the soul. We went through every trail that we could until we got hungry. But let me tell you it is splendid that Torrance has this gem. It has a indoor space that has information for all to read and interact with. I really am happy that this place exists. It is great for all ages. I ran into young and old visiting this place. If I come back I will love to come when ducks are in the marsh. I was told that there are ducks there.
Closed Sun/Mon at 10 am. The volunteers were super nice. I went for a walk the outer path is .92 miles around. Lots of small animals. Very nice place to get some exercise or just connect with nature. Free parking across the street, free to get in. A gift shop etc. Couple field trips the day I went. Not a lot of shade.
This is a very lowkey spot for bird watching. I went there for the first time, no traffic, easy parking, and even people there to welcome you in. I am not going to lie, the bird watching isn’t amazing. This is a list of what I saw there (I spent probably 1.5 hours): Allan and Anna’s hummingbird, Black head pheobe, Lesser Goldfinch, dark eyed junco ,song sparrow, house sparrow, house finch, western meadowlark, bushtit, oak bushtit, and either a tree or barn swallow. That being said, I also accidentally get within 3 feet of a coyote when i was wading through some bush which was awesome. There is tons of other animals there like lizards and bunnies. I would definitely reccomend this to a friend. It is also the first place i’ve been (naturally) where I have seen both Allan and Anna’s Hummingbirds together so that was cool. There was also like now one there so you can basically have the bush to yourself. My only issue with this place was the ambient noise. The perimeter are well used roads and planes fly over quite frequently so Merlin is hard to use at a times. But you should defo check it out. -Avi
I'm so happy to have such a space near my home. For my child, a place that encourages connection with insects and animals is emotionally beneficial and helps make the day more fulfilling and enjoyable. There’s no shortage of high-quality puzzles, dolls, and coloring activities to enjoy together. The beautiful murals and windows, in particular, provide emotional healing for me as well. There's ample parking, and admission is free.
I can't understand why I drove past this magical gem in the middle of Torrance so many times. It appears unassuming when driving by Sepulveda Blvd and Madrona on my way to buy gas. So long as I stayed away from the fenced boundaries, l could imagine myself being miles away from civilization. Walking and talking with my friend, I nearly missed seeing a wild rabbit hop a few feet from the path. How remarkable it was to hear the honking of a flock of Canadian geese as they formed a vee flying overhead. We spotted a colorful duck shepherding her flock of ducklings in the wetness of a low spot of the Marsh. I imagine that after a rainstorm, much more birds would visit the Marsh. The sight of brilliant orange California poppies emerging and slender fronds of delicate blue violet flowers rewarded us as we traversed the paths within the Marsh. It was a refreshing respite at the start of a busy day. I will return.
Madrona Marsh is a true gem. Located in the midst of the concrete jungle that is Torrance, Madrona offers folks the opportunity to view dozens of bird species, insects and the occasional mammal. The trails are flat and easy to walk. Bring a pair of binoculars or a camera, and you will experience a world of wildlife in the middle of a busy city. Madrona is well worth a visit.
A very nice place to spend your morning walk at. Quiet and peaceful with a lot of trees and flowers. We saw some ducks, geese, hummingbirds and red robins. We spent about an hour there. Kid friendly. A lot of parking spaces (we got there at around 10am). Nice staffs and it's FREE. Closed on Sundays and Mondays.
This is a beautiful Nature Preserve. The volunteers are amazing, you need to talk to them!

Although it is quite a small museum with a small selection of exhibitions, I thoroughly enjoyed visiting this place. It was my first time, and the worker was so incredibly inviting, sweet, knowledgeable, and passionate about each art exhibition. After finishing viewing each art piece, she was so excited to show us the Japanese garden in the back. I spent maybe 30-40 minutes max here but it was a very fun activity. 😛😄💓
We went on a whim and discovered this FREE museum, located in Torrance, behind Torrance Plunge. It is a small museum with a video room for movie art. It had some interesting pieces, but the majority was of dark subject matter, or of a sexual nature - not our cup of tea. We took a walk around the area, however, and found this lovely garden that saved the outing. I would not recommend this museum for children, but the garden is kid friendly. The surrounding building is a recreation center that offers classes to both kids and adults. We will be looking into it for sure.
Awesome museum for the price. It’s only two rooms and free parking. Dude at the front lost his sense of reality in the vr. I could see it in his eyes. 👁️👁️
This is an exceptional regional LA art Museum with a German Director/curator who hosts high-quality contemporary art ranging from installations to sculpture to video from California to accross the globe. I live in NZ where we have many high quality regional small to mid-sized high-quality publicly funded contemporary art galleries/art museums but they are quite rare in the USA. (Public funding in the USA is a fraction of what exists in most other developed nations.) It's worth the trip from the more central LA areas.
Great little museum showcasing California artists. I came for Sonic Exploration on the Patio, but enjoyed the gallery enough that we plan to attend more exhibits. Good parking, entry is free but donations are encouraged.
The Torrance Art Museum is a true gem that effortlessly blends contemporary art, innovation, and community spirit. Nestled in the heart of Torrance, this museum may not be the largest in the area, but it offers a deeply impactful experience that rivals any major art institution. From its carefully curated exhibitions to its inviting atmosphere, the museum is a must-visit for anyone passionate about art, culture, and creativity. The museum’s exhibits are consistently outstanding, showcasing a wide range of mediums, from visual art to multimedia installations, often focusing on thought-provoking, cutting-edge pieces. I was particularly impressed by how the museum highlights local and emerging artists, offering fresh perspectives and giving voice to those who may not yet have the recognition they deserve. The curation is always thoughtful, bringing together works that not only captivate but challenge the viewer to reflect on deeper themes like identity, society, and innovation. One of the things that truly stands out is the intimate, welcoming space. The galleries are clean and spacious, allowing you to fully engage with each piece without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. It's easy to get lost in the art and lose track of time, and that’s exactly what great art should do. The museum creates an environment that feels personal and inclusive, where visitors can connect with the art and each other. The staff is exceptional. They are not only friendly and approachable but also incredibly knowledgeable about the exhibits. Their passion for art and their eagerness to share insights truly enhance the experience. I felt like I was guided through each exhibit with a sense of purpose, gaining a deeper understanding and appreciation of the work on display. In addition to its fantastic exhibitions, the museum regularly hosts community events and educational programs that make art accessible to people of all ages. Whether it’s an artist talk, a family-friendly workshop, or an event focused on a specific theme, the Torrance Art Museum is committed to connecting with and enriching the local community. If you're looking for a space to explore cutting-edge contemporary art, immerse yourself in thought-provoking exhibitions, and experience the true heart of the local art scene, the Torrance Art Museum is an absolute must-visit. It’s a testament to the power of art to inspire, educate, and connect. "The Torrance Art Museum is a vibrant, dynamic cultural hub that offers a fresh, engaging perspective on the world of contemporary art. It’s a space where creativity thrives, and where visitors are invited to explore and be inspired by the transformative power of art."
Having been to museums in more than 40 countries, I was surprised to find such a small museum in my current home city be both free and also so excellently curated. The photography they had, in a special exhibit that isn’t permanent, was just exceptional and I could have stayed for hours just enjoying that aspect of the collection. I also enjoyed the exhibit in coordination with curators in Germany. The staff member I talked to was knowledgeable and super helpful. Parking is plentiful and the location is good, close to several other things to do if you’re visiting and don’t live in Torrance. I’d highly recommend making time to visit this museum if you’re anywhere nearby.
I love a free art museum in the community. It is a smaller place however the art makes up for it ❤️ always appreciate places that offer anyone to come and see their art. Thank you!!!!!!

Went for a beer after work this Friday. A good vibe, great bartender, and a hit-the-spot white IPA. We only stayed for one beer but it was relaxed. There was food outside available. We will be back to partake in some more tasting.
This brewery/ taproom has a great space, very open with a view of the magic-making area. I was able to get a flight of four of their many beers, all good; I especially liked their aptly-named Totally Awesome Amber. But, to paraphrase The Dude, that's just, like, my opinion, man.
Nice server and laid back indoor and outdoor sitting areas, read a couple reviews about a good stout, so I gave it a try- Dude! It was extremely strong tasting- kinda like drinking a FourLoko or strong mixed drink, took me a while to sip it through- be prepared! The other beers looked good, I may return for a flight of IPA's
Great beer at a killer price. Try the Double IPA. 32oz for $10 🔥 Casual bench sitting area nestled in the corner of the brewing facility colors every taste of draft beer with notes of fresh barley and hops... something you'll love if you're a serious beer drinker. There are two tv's with one playing a baseball game and another a football game. Nice to have something to watch while I sip. Music is a mix of The Beatles, classic rock and Metallica. Nice. While I was there the Owner was just walking around chatting people up. Super chill. Yet another reason to support local breweries.
Great place, beer is good. You have a nice selection of beer. Gets pretty crowded good idea to go early if you want a spot to sit. There is suppose to be good trucks but the night I went there was no food trucks. You can always bring your own food. Love that dogs are allowed.
Good times here Parking is good Hard to find off the beaten path Trivia night is fun Staff is cool Beer selection is big Always a line for the bathroom Has food trucks now and then Good seating selection Not bad for the area .
Good selection. Did a flight of 4 and all were tasty. Lots of room. Nice decor. Why not sit at a barrel table outside!?! Get a flight served on a bowling pin. Have a White Russian beer. Reminds me of that Lebowski move...
Not a bad place to grab a beer with some buds. Decent prices, snacks are available, and there are some large screens usually showing games. Cool place.

So nice, lots of beautiful antiques. Gal there is very nice.. the street fair is really well done with lots to view and select from.. Annemarie, Torrance
I’ve lived in Old Torrance my whole life and have never felt this kind of negative energy from any of the other antique stores around here. I stopped by hoping to find some Halloween antiques, but the whole experience was just… unsettling. There was this little girl in the store who kept following me around. I couldn’t tell if she worked there, was related to the owners, or something else entirely. At one point, I honestly started wondering… what if she was a ghost? The energy felt that strange. Meanwhile, I could feel the owner’s eyes on me from across the room, which made the whole thing even more uncomfortable. I came ready to buy some Halloween blow molds and a few other antiques, but the atmosphere was so off that I ended up leaving. My neighbor mentioned they’ve had the same experience, so maybe it’s not just me. The people running the place seem to carry the weirdest, most awful energy, almost like they’re tired of life itself, or ready to depart from it. It’s heavy, like something you can feel the second you walk in. It’s a shame, because the store has okay basic pieces, but whatever’s lingering there, whether it’s the energy or the attitude , makes it a place I wouldn’t want to step into again.
Fun shop, manageable amount of cases! I've never had a bad experience. Always manage to find something and everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. Picked these 80's babies up the last time I was there.
I’ve been coming to this antique store for over 15 years, but my recent experience left me really disappointed. I’m Latino, though I can be white-passing when my hair is blonde. Over the years, I’ve noticed a clear difference in how I’m treated based on that. When I visit with white friends or when I look more white-passing, the staff are kind and attentive. But when I go in as I naturally am, I’m followed around and made to feel unwelcome, as if I don’t belong there. It’s painful to realize that after all this time as a loyal customer, I’m still being treated differently because of how I look. I truly hope the owners take this as a chance to reflect and make sure every customer is treated with respect and fairness. EDIT BELOW- Since Google doesn’t allow reviewers to reply directly, I’m adding this clarification here. I noticed the owner edited her response to focus on her partner’s background and staff demographics, which doesn’t address my actual experience or the bias I described. Being part of a diverse business does not automatically mean bias can’t exist, and responding defensively instead of listening only reinforces the problem or her problem.. My review reflects my genuine experience as a long-time customer who was treated differently based on appearance. I stand by what I said. It’s disappointing to see continued edits to the response rather than genuine reflection or accountability. Google has notified me of several edits she’s made, which only makes that even clearer and, ironically, proves my original point. Dismissing lived experiences doesn’t make them any less valid, and editing a reply won’t change what actually happened. Growth starts with listening to customers, not rewriting their stories. True accountability keeps the business thriving.
Beautiful service. I love a smile and a welcoming greeting when I walk into my happy place, an antique store. I bought my daughters first Barbie here and a few other items. Can’t wait to come back!
This was a fun experience. What a great selection of things to choose from. All the vendors had something to offer. There are plenty of places to eat or grab a beer while you peruse the stands of antiques and collectibles set up all along the strip.
Awesome place. Love the antiques. Some very good deals as well.
This store is filled with treasures. I saw this piece on Etsy and purchased it three days later. Mike and the owner were extremely helpful and the sale transaction went smoothly. You can arrange to have your item delivered which was an added bonus. I will be doing business with them again.

Lovely theater, every seat has a great view. Seats were very comfortable, even for a larger sized person. ADA was also very easy to do.
This a hidden gem with a beautiful coy pond garden complete with 2 mini waterfalls. The auditorium is spacious yet intimate, and exceptionally clean, and unloading a packed house at the end was swift and easy. I really enjoyed this venue.
A very well maintained community auditorium with comfortable seating, orchestra pit, ample stage for performances. Refreshments in the lobby and clean restrooms with handicapped ramps and easy access from the free parking lot.
We love this place. It is located right in Torrance in the Torrance Cultural Arts Center. It is perfect. Parking is not only free, it is easy. I am disabled and was able to have my husband drive me right to the front and drop me off. He then parked himself and we met at the front. This is an all volunteer staff and they are lovely. They will help you find your seat or buy what you want. They have beer and wine and snacks. You can have them in the lobby or in their adorable outdoor seating error. I don't think you can take in anything but water, I just don't recall. They also have soda and all their snacks are in the cute logo bags. You can tell the volunteers are proud of this place and they should be. There is not a bad seat in the house. The seats are comfortable and the entire space is spotless. You can even go outside if you need a break or there is an intermission. We took out grandson to the see The Bill Withers Songbooks and it was amazing. The sound was perfect. The singer and his band were just great and he sounded like Mr. Withers. He also did some of his own music and it was great. Getting in and out is easy. The patrons are nice. The staff is the best, There is nothing not to like so you must go. Use their website or Google TOCA and you will find a list of upcoming events. The area is safe, it is all just wonderful.
We saw Peter Pan and loved the experience. The staff was courteous and professional, even with hundreds of kids running around. I loved that they had the dancers warming up on stage and then got some of the kids up to practice mime dancing.
Located in Torrance. A very nice theater suitable for mid-level productions. Strong audio visual system, and a deep orchestral pit. Very large stage able to accommodate many performers on stage. The seating arrangement is good. . There are no bad seats in the House. Every seat has great sight lines. Be careful because the aisles are very steep. Large Lobby able to accommodate many. Family friends and guests. And a small area where concessions can be sold. Ample parking.
This is so amazing if you haven't been here. This is a must. Come down and see how beautiful and peaceful the coi pond
Great venue - intimate & every seat is a good one! Also, has a full orchestra pit with great sound.

Nice place for friends gathering, and the yakitori booth smells good.
This place is GREAT! Bartender was super nice, the beers are soooo sooo soo good! We tried so many of them and we loved all of them!!! The decor and vibe are immaculate! they have a free arcade room in the back, many choices of board games and even event night such as paint night. The kitchen was closed so didnt get to try any food! Coming back for sure!
Nice selection of beers, friendly staff and a good atmosphere. The Brewer was there when we visited and gave good insight into the different beers. We enjoyed this brewery enough to go twice while visiting.
Great place for any event. Had our engagement party here. Staff went above and beyond to help out! Beers are delicious with a wide variety of style for any taste. Would recommend to anyone!
Another very decent Torrance brewery option for craft beer enthusiasts in the South Bay. The craft beer brewery ambiance is pretty standard, warehouse with tables and a food truck outside. They get bonus points for having games like Cornhole and giant Jenga inside. I have enjoyed their beer on both occasions that I visited, and their wide selection of beer styles ensures there should be something for everyone.
Great brewery! A bountful of options and great tastes. It has a relaxing ambience to get a beer with friends and just hang out. Chill place.
Great ales 🍺 and soo many different flavors and grades. You have to try the Evil Red. Apetizers are just good. The place is pet friendly and really great staff!
when it comes to breweries, Torrance is the place to visit; theres great breweries, a few that have potential and a few others with no future.when it comes to scholbs there beer is decent and they have potential to become one of the great breweries in Torrance. the brewery is welcoming and spacious, the people that work there are friendly and helpful and they have great merchandise on sale.

I have been a studio artist here since we opened. My home away from home. Great place to take an art class too!
Fabulous class today at Destination: Art with Robin Kirk leading a new technique in painting with tissue paper.
Run by a dynamite group of women, Destination Art is truly a hub of creativity—working studios, gallery space, and a great lineup of workshops! My two days there was not nearly enough—hope to return soon.
A great art experience for classes, gallery space, and studios in the South Bay!
Great resource for artists in the South Bay. I attended a workshop there and was pleased by how nice the space is and how welcoming the people are.
Excellent classes, workshops and mentoring in a collaborative environment. Love learning pastel painting here!
Great place. Phenomenal artist and gracious host. Spacious and warm environment.

Always a good experience here. I love when they host vegan pop-up nights with different vendors. Good beer always pairs nicely with vegan food :) Their dog rescue charity is a nice addition and makes you feel good about drinking here! Haha I really like the self-serve taps, and ability to walk in to the brewing room to see all the equipment. On a clear night, the owners will put telescopes out and zoom in on some celestial wonders and offer patrons a view. Such a cool place
Pour your own beer and watch the stars! They're always hosting awesome events & amazing vegan vendors are there every weekend!
Listen, the theme is super cute, there are free video games, and the vibe is chill. There were serve your own pints and they do a lot with animal rescue. Good people. But the beer falls very short. We had a flight of 4 and only one was finishable. One tasted like it was infected with chemicals. Nice place but room for improvement on the beers.
Love this spot! Beer on tap is beyond delish, the prices r beyond good. The environment is cosmic, the staff beyond helpful n friendly. Kid friendly, they serve sodas n chips as an alternative. The brewery is at the end of the driveway, it's kind of hidden, but an oasis, well worth the find
What a great "atmosphere" for really good beer! I hate to admit it - I'm not a big beer drinker, but I really enjoyed the beer at Cosmic - especially the Little Bagpipe. The Hellhound Ale was pretty tasty too - and I don't ever like dark beers. I love the way you serve yourself - super fun and strangely satisfying! The proprietors are friendly and helpful - they were on the floor and accessible the whole time I was there. Definitely going back with friends - and my dog! Yes - dogs are welcomed!
The beer here is particularly unremarkable, with all of it tasting similar. The tasting room is well put together and extremely polished. The pay for what you pour system is a interesting novelty, but more of a way to extract as much value as possible from us the beer drinker than anything else. Overall I think that there are far better microbreweries in the area (literally walking distance) that offer a wider and better tasting selection.
I live in Old Torrance and have discovered quite a few breweries in our hood. This is the first and only I’ve tried and hubby and I have been 6 times the past 3 weeks! They have board games you can play while enjoying the great beers they create. Super cool and friendly staff.
Great vibes, theme and service. Love the fact you can pour your own beer. The owner is a cool guy whose passion for astronomy is evident. Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a chill place to hang out, play board games, beer pong and even corn hole!
