I finally got all of my questions answered on what happened to the old facility and the animals after Katrina and it was pretty sad. This organization is still doing an awesome job in education people about marine life after all of these years. Everyone working on this end of the property were eager to answer all questions and educate you about every animal. This is more of a typical museum education component to the property while the Ocean Adventure seems to be geared towards entertainment. There is a great exhibit area that leads to the petting area. On the day we were there a couple of fish had just been introduced to the area so they were off-limits,but you were allowed to pet everything else after hand washing. The presentation about snakes and gators was informative and not boring at all. My only issue was the transport train that goes back and forth from the Ocean Adventure park to the Marine Mammal institute. Honestly you would get from point A to B quicker by walking as the distance really isn't far enough to warrant a train ride. It was a decent experience, but when we decided to head back to the Ocean Adventure area we walked. Its good to see this place thriving in the new location
What an amazing experience. My son did the dolphin experience and feed the sea lion. The handlers were very knowledgeable, patient and caring. Highly recommended for kids and adults both.
This facility is known for rescuing stranded and sick dolphins turtles and other marine life. It is so much more than a learning center. You are allowed to touch the stingrays in the stingray pool as well as the small tiger sharks. In the discovery room you are able to touch the horseshoe crabs starfish and hermit crabs. There are different tanks with different things in that you are allowed to touch. Every 30 minutes there is a different show they only last 10 minutes and so there's plenty of time to explore in between shows. Make sure you visit both buildings! The discovery room is set back so you might need to ask where it is. They also have a place where you can get food and drinks if you choose to purchase food there or there are picnic tables outside where you can grab your lunch from your vehicle and have a nice break.
This was a great experience. The kids enjoyed the encounter with the stingrays and sharks! It was an immersive experience the kids will remember. We planned this at the last minute, but next time we will sign-up for the Dolphin and sea lion experience. We all enjoyed the bird exhibit where we fed the birds. I really enjoyed the museum and found it be educational and interesting. We'll be back next year for another enjoyable experience.
Took the family here, and I was a bit skeptical from the website. This place exceeded my expectations. The experience was a great one for my boys. We did the dolphin encounter, and it was money well spent. We are on a 2 ½ week road trip from Oregon, and this was the boys' most favorite activity so far. The staff was excellent, thanks for the amazing time!
This is a very fun place to go. We had an experience with the dolphins and the sea lion which I very whole heartedly suggest to do. It’s a bit pricy but an experience you will never forget! How many times in your life do you get to act like a Biologist without the schooling it’s lots of fun. We had a great time!! The staff are awesome and will answer every question you ask them. Hats off to the owner for having a great staff!! The only thing I would change is let the person that had to change into their bathing suit should be able to change their bathing suit when they are done to the same room they started with instead of a cramped stall in a public restroom with no privacy! Other than that it was great time!
I came on a whim and I am so glad I did. Reasonable admission prices, interactive displays, the dolphin show was pretty amazing. Medium sized parking lot in front, employees are friendly and helpful, everything seemed to run like a well oiled machine.
We visited the park on Monday, July 28, 2025. PROS: · Reggie was driving the train (after the “manager” told us and several other visitors that it wasn’t running that day. Reggie was very professional, and had the patience of a saint! · Entry cost to the institute was reasonable, and included all shows, including the dolphins! Best of all, this institute is handicap accessible! (Although the educator in the stingray area didn't know that there was a viewing area on one end of the pool where someone in a wheelchair could get a better view). CONS: · The café was closed, and all of the vending machines were out of order. You can buy water and Gatorade in the gift shop for $4.50 a bottle. · We were told we could leave to eat and come back in. The logistics of that for us is next to impossible due to physical limitations, and the energy it takes to get one from the car to the wheelchair. We ordered a pizza and had it delivered to the park. We were reprimanded like children for doing so. (“You can bring food in, but you can’t have it delivered.”) · The train wasn’t running? Turns out, it was. · The dolphin show was great, but the speakers were not functioning correctly, and whoever was talking to the audience had a voice that was grating on the nerves, with feigned excitement. OVERVIEW: · This is a great place for children, but I recommend bringing something to drink with you. · Personally, I am always on the lookout for a non-profit organization to donate to, and I prefer those that care for the preservation of wildlife and/or our natural environment. The way that the “manager” spoke to us assured that this organization will never be the recipient of any funding from my company or person.

Everything is actually really good with this casino, except one thing and it's a very main thing. Their frontline employees could learn a thing or two about customer service. They just ain't got it.They're quite rude in fact. I don't know why they do this or how they're getting away with it. I wish I could explain it. They just don't really go out of their way for anyone unless they absolutely have to. I know a lot of their cleaning staff and night crew is pretty nice generally, and you know, cooks and back of staff employees. Get it together, island view. You could be so much more.
I was comped 3 nights, with endless buffet for my husband I and free play. We wanted to go for my birthday on Nov 3. We stayed Sunday Nov 2 nd and left today Nov 5th. Let me tell you, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Every employee in the hotel, casino and buffet area treated us wonderful! Our room was clean and good size, in the casino our servers were super nice and fast and the employees in the buffet area were so accommodating! We kind of felt like royalty for the past few days. Thank you Island View Casino resort for letting me have one of the best birthday get aways!!!
This is easily my favorite casino in Mississippi. As it’s always a fun and enjoyable experience. There’s constantly sounds of someone hitting a jackpot which makes total sense because they have some of the loosest slots in the Gulf Shores area. There’s always plenty of parking and I love they have one building full of slots and table games for smokers and a separate building full of slots and table games for the non smokers too. Highly recommended. If I could leave 6 stars I earnestly would have.
My go-to casino for best gaming offers, tier events, & complimentary entertainment with "acceptable" ups & downs on slots. Drink service is sometimes lacking ( up to an hour with no waiter, or waiters who hurriedly pass by "somewhere" in the area oblivious to players trying to flag them to order. Bars are available, but Im reluctant to leave my machines. However, self-serve soft drink stations are a plus. Buffets are sporadically, (not often enough), included in my monthly flyers. However, several food vendors offer a variety for purchase.
I’m soooooo disappointed & extremely upset with how management handled a $200 voucher I won on a machine. This was my first time visiting this casino. Initially, I was having such good luck winning tonight and had planned on giving an excellent review but instead, I’ve got to give this horrible review. Majority of the staff was very nice to me but management as I mentioned earlier, didn’t have the courtesy to even come and talk to me and give me a rundown of why they made the decision they made. But as I said I won $200 and I pull my phone out of my back pocket and my ticket slipped out and I was. I reported it to security and they found the person who picked up my ticket and cashed it in. I was told they Him that he has been seen on the camera Cashing my voucher in. When asked to give it back, he refused and the only thing they did for Me was to ban him from the casino for 24 hours. This is only going to encourage other people to feel like they can do it and get away with it because nothing’s gonna be done to them. I feel like they should require you to have to use your license or your pin number in order to redeem any vouchers at their kiosk & this will easily resolve this issue. They didn’t even call me to tell me anything, I had to call To find out how it was handled. If it was the other way around, and that person Had taken something out of the casino that didn’t belong to them they would press charges against him & banned him.But they made me feel like I wasn’t important to them as a new customer. 1st impressions are everything to me. I had planned on bringing my friends next time, but this First and last trip ever to this casino,
❤️ Luvin it,if you become an Island Insider, they give you an 3free night stay in hotel. Its lovely I myself loved the able beds&the deep tub, with all the amenities! Also Dockside Deli is a sit in restaurant with good food &waitresses are outstanding. Ask for Mrs.Cynthia she was so nice&pleasant!
Great pools, both are beautiful on both sides of the road but the newer beach side with the swim-up bar is awesome. I don't gamble, so I just hang out at the pools for days while my husband is in the casinos. The Diner has pretty decent food and the cafe has really great sandwiches and desserts especially the raspberry lemon cheesecake cake. The rooms on the land side are okay the newer rooms on the ocean side are pretty modern and very nice.
I haven’t been to the Island view casino in 10 years. It’s so much better than I remember. I really appreciate the beach view casino being smoke free. The layout was nice. My husband and I were able to play the slot machines side by side. We had fun and will be back!!

My son and I visited Friday, March 28th for their free Community Birthday Party, which so happened to land right on his Birthday 🎉 We had so much fun! He was so entertained and so invested in everything the museum had to offer. It's perfect for little kids. There's so so much for them to do! We will definitely be going again 😁
We traveled over from Mobile, AL because we’ve heard such great things. We were not disappointed. We came about 2pm on a Saturday and it was perfect. We had most of the place to ourselves. It was nice and clean. My 5 year old loved everything inside. Then we headed to the splash pad. We will be back for sure.
Great place to visit for all ages and they have a reciprocal membership from other science museums. It was fun our girls who were 3, 7 and 9! We went twice during this trip!
I spent the day here with my family and we had a blast. The museum kept my 7 year old and 5 year old busy for hours. There's no cafe, but they allowed us to do our own picnic lunch at the picnic tables. Most of the exhibits were in good working order. Children are constantly testing the exhibits so it makes sense to me that not everything was working as intended. Also, the tree house was being worked on at the time of our visit, but happy to see improvement and repair taking place. The art studio let us build a craft and the kids loved it. We closed out the day at the splash pad. $60 for the day for the family and we got our money's worth. My only gripe is that the power button for the splash pad needs a sign or something painted on the ground.
We had a fantastic time at the Discovery Center today! While it is geared towards younger kids, my 8 year old daughter & 11 year old son had a blast! We spent a good 2.5/3 hours there! It is SO clean! They especially loved the Art room, that was actually a highlight to the day. I love that we were allowed to leave, and come back since I didn’t realize we could bring food/drinks in. If you have smaller children, this is a must to bring them to get energy out. The grounds are beautiful as well, and it is quite a peaceful place. Well worth the money.
This place was fantastic!! The kids with us ranged from 5 years - 11 years (47 years technically 😉), and everyone had a BLAST!! Seriously, it is SO MUCH FUN! Can't wait to go back the next time we are in Biloxi.
This is a great place to take the kids and just let them get some energy out. It's clean, including crews that walk around whose job is literally just to put stuff back where it goes. There are such fun interactive areas from a grocery store to a vet's office, and even an area just for under 4 years old. There's a large climbing structure in the middle which is fun and fairly safe since the kids can't fall out of it. It does need some cleaning attention though. The areas are carpeted and it doesn't look like they ever been cleaned. I gave it 4 stars because some of the outdoor structures including some tree houses and climbable structures look like they need some serious maintenance and refurbishment. And with all the people inside, it was quite hot. They do have some pipes that deliver random areas of extra air conditioning but they could use some more. There's also a gift shop that has snacks and drinks, but other than water fountains, there's no vending machines inside the main building which would be helpful for parents. They could also use a few more benches for parents to sit while the kids run around or play in each section. Overall, great little place with reasonable pricing that allows kids some time for creativity and getting some energy out. We live out of state and come in for vacation to our beach house in Long Beach and this is always on our list of things to do.
It was an awesome experience with the grandkids and my big kids! We all had fun experiencing all the exhibits!! Very friendly for all ages!!

Gulfport premium outlet is a very nice outlet just outside New Orleans. It has a fairly good selection of high bread mixed with local brands. There is also food trucks and other people selling stuff. There is usually some good deals to be made when you shop in the premium outlet store. Check it out. 😎
Nice shopping center with plenty of parking and a variety of stores. We went to a few stores, Nike, Gap, Journey's, the staff was nice, stores clean and organized. We didn't really see any good deals for what we were shopping for and the prices we just ok. I would still recommend to check them out if you're in the area.
The Gulfport Premium Outlets is not quite as large as some but is every bit as nice or nicer than any other we have visited. Almost all of the major brands are represented. The grounds are kept very clean and well manicured. All of the store staff and mall personnel are very welcoming. A fun place to shop.
The Sketchers store personnel are the best! Helped me with my compromised mobility mom's shoe experience today. Didn't catch his name, dark hair in a ponytail and a mask. Thank u for being so kind!!
Nice outlet mall for those who like the stores that are there. Not many stores are there that I care for, but did go in Under Armour, who had a nice sale going on. No food court anymore. Lots of parking in front and back of site.
Great experience! The bathroom we went to was so clean and smelled good. Grounds were well-kept! Highly recommend this outlet mall!
It's alright but I was thinking it was going to be significantly bigger from the initial view from the I-10. Theres some good shops there but it's missing that taken care of feel it just looks like highschool hallways. It needs to expand, there's a whole closed off road to build off of. The parking lot, get rid of some of it. Build a good food court, give something to attract everyone even further. I just think there's much more that could make this outlet significantly more appealing and would bring more storefronts to the outlet scene in gulfport.
Very clean outlet mall with plenty of parking. Customer service at Michael Kors was excellent. My wife found exactly what she was looking for, and the sales lady went out of her way to make her feel comfortable shopping there. There was not many people at the mall so parking was great.

Rent the sun deck or cabana early. It’s hot. It’s worth it! Facilities are well maintained. Will run out of ice at peak time, but it fills back up. The staff, particularly at the top of the kiddie slides, are attentive. While the food options at the park are typical water park fare, they are adequate. Outside food and drinks are not permitted.
Visited with my 4yr old son this past weekend. We had a great time. It was a safe, clean, friendly atmosphere. The staff was readily available and very helpful. Plenty of rides to keep us busy. We didn't eat or buy any extras. The free drink bar was a pleasant surprise. We will definitely be back
Had great experience. Kids and adults loved it. Circular Lazy River (you can stand in) has multiple entrances and exits. Use rafts for free. In the center wavepool comes on every 20 minutes. Plenty of life guards. Lockers for valuables. Small restaurant for burgers etc... Free drinks!Looks like you can rent a cabana or get there early to snag an umbrella area with chase lounge chairs. Dressing rooms to change. Everything you need for a fun day. Very clean. Will return.
This place is awesome except for the price of food, which is insultingly expensive. Ice cream is $6 for barely 4oz of frozen yogurt. Chicken was good but I spent $35 on enough chicken for only 2 kids. Again, this place is really great but something needs to be done about food prices. We will definitely be coming back at least 2 more times this summer but we will never buy anything inside again. I feel bad for the employees. I can't be the only parent who is shocked at the food prices.
I came here with my daughter for a band trip in ‘23 so yesterday I took my youngest 3 and niece. We had a blast. The rides are really fun especially the one that waves a lil. We will be back again!
The staff was friendly and helpful. It's a nice size waterpark with decent food options. The free drinks and parking is a plus. I recommend getting there early to get a space with an umbrella. The claim shells aren't really work it. Only 1/2 is shaded.
You really can't beat the season pass price for some summertime water fun! The lazy river was fun. We only tried the water slides a couple of times. Many things need painting, cleaning, and updating. Half of the longers are broken and don't allow you to sit up. There's is noticeable wear and tear on all the slides. We like that they added frozen alcoholic drinks, but they didn't taste that great for the price. On the plus side, the bathrooms and changing areas were always kept clean. With a few updates, touch-ups, and a few special events, Gulf Islands water park could be great, as for now, it's just ok.
The locker personal storage area was convenient to store towels phones at a good price no outside food or drink unless your diabetic that was a great commodity.

Huge park adjacent to the marina, the beach, the aquarium, and a few blocks from downtown. It's very peaceful and beautifully maintained. The walking "track" is about 1 mile around, so it's perfect for fitness, but I also enjoy going there to just hang out. There's a farmers market here on Wednesdays, and all kinds of events during Summer and the Holiday season. I love walking my dog here, too. Jones Park is one of the best things about Gulfport!
One of my favorite beachside places in the world. The fishing was excellent that day. The vibe was peaceful and everyone got along well which is a rarity these days. You would be missing out if you passed Jones Park on a good weak day.
GREAT place to come and enjoy time with your family! Or just take a moment to yourself and catch a cool fresh breeze. There’s nothing like a beautiful day outdoors at Jones Park 🏖️! Also it sits right across the street from the beautiful Gulf Coast Aquarium 🐠!
Excellent park. Kept extremely clean and well-maintained. View of the water, beach, marina, boats, the harbor, the GP Lighthouse, Downtown, The Aquarium, the old Library, the stunning lighted Sky Bridge, and Beach Boulevard. Add to that the lights along to Coast to Biloxi at night. The nicest spot in GP. Friendly people. Great for dog walking. Plenty of free parking. Security and well lit. Regulars, locals and tourists enjoy this special Gulf spot. You also catch the boat excursion to Ship Island here which does a party cruise certain evenings. Don’t miss it! 🧜‍♀️🧜‍♀️🧜‍♀️🧜‍♀️🧜‍♀️
What a fabulous place. Highly recommend. It offered needed respite and shade from the heat to read my book, a beautiful sandy beach to take a sunset stroll, and fishing piers to make small talk with local fisherman at night as the waves lapped at the shores.
Nice big lot. I was able to park my 21-ft vehicle there. Spent some time on the beach. It was nice. Nice Sandy area for bathers. They have a pavilion and hold different events here. There is a large Park where they do a lot of displays for Christmas and things like that.
We visit here frequently! They keep it very clean! Beautiful place to walk on the path in the park, wonderful play area for the kids, great to play in the sand and watch sunsets. Also an extremely great venue for events. ONLY catch.. bathrooms are on one side and were built high up. Those are often not always the cleanest but that's from the public being careless.
It is beautiful! Lots of walking paths. The pier is so nice with great views! Walking around the marina is so beautiful too. The playground for the kids is in the shape of ships. Highly recommend for a peaceful walk! There are restrooms around the splash pad.

Cool little garage and gift shop. All the cars and motorcycles are owned by one guy. The gift shop has some cool items. A little something for everyone.
Great place! My kids loved it. The people that work there are super nice!
CLOSED DOWN The owner closed the museum down, but a very nice man that, I think, owns the garage let us walk through and spent quite a long time talking about the various cats with us
Super friendly folks! Nice little gift shop and don't nice cars and old motorcycles!
Very friendly! My kids loved all of the cars!
Went here as something free for the family, plus we love old cars. They did great on giving us some history of the cars. Stacey the lady in the gift shop was so nice! She even helped by telling us what else was close, free and where it was at. Plus put us in touch with some great local cuisine. Overall great experience.
John, the owner, is a class act. He has everything from an MG through a Rolls. The thing that makes this place unique is that most of the cars are still undergoing some level of restoration. John welcomes visitors and is not shy of providing information on each vehicle. If you are a fan of classics, you'll love this place like I do.
Owner is very nice. They were short-handed but he still took the time to talk us. He even let us into the gift shop even though it was closed. Very nice cars and down to earth people.

My girlfriend and I visited Traintastic in Gulfport on May 25th, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! This museum is much more than just a display — it’s an immersive adventure into the fascinating world of trains. What really made our visit special was the friendliness of the staff. Everyone we encountered was warm, welcoming, and genuinely enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge. The exhibit itself is enormous — one of the largest model railroad displays in the world — with dozens of intricately detailed layouts that showcase different eras and regions of American railroading. The craftsmanship is impressive, and the scale of the museum means there’s always something new to discover around every corner. The facility is nearly spotless and very well maintained, which makes wandering through the extensive exhibits even more enjoyable. We also loved the interactive elements, from operating model trains to engaging with hands-on displays that explain the science and engineering behind trains. Whether you’re passionate about trains or simply looking for a unique, fun outing in Gulfport, this museum is definitely worth a visit.
This place is awesome! It's like the Tartis, bigger on the inside. Driving up to it, you think there's not much to it but once inside the fun begins. My grandsons love trains and this place delivers. There are model trains, Lego trains, Thomas trains, riding trains! There is an "I spy" activity to find different things in the train set ups. My daughter and I had a great time doing it. There is a big open play area for big kids and a soft play area for tiny tots, with other activities for children all around. I highly recommend this place for kids and adults.
My family had an INCREDIBLE time! Initially, I felt that the price was too high given that we had been to their old location and it only took about an hour and a half to see everything. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they have VASTly expanded at their new location. It is huge and took most of the day. The atmosphere gets a 10 out of 10! The decorations and theming is so creative and fun. I don't even care for trains but they caught my interest. There were things for all ages, PERFECT for families like mine with kids ranging in age from toddlers to preteens. The museum starts with an immersive train ride experience with visuals from a train within the museum giving the illusion that you're of miniature scale. Then, there's a small model railroad history section. Next up was a wide variety and array of model train displays. The museum has done a great job making it interactive with I spy set ups for several displays, buttons to interact with the displays, interspersed children's train sets and legos, as well as tunnels into the middle of the displays. Our favorite part was the train with a camera that you can watch from a control booth. We all got a kick out of it, it's a must see feature. Next we went outside and enjoyed the swing, peddal trains, and train ride. These rides were my kids' favorite. Next we went to the indoor playground area which was very nice. The climbing equipment was high quality and offered a variety of ways to climb great for children of different sizes and abilities. The party rooms with cute storefront facades can be seen from here. They have 2 quarter machines and a very convenient coin machine so be sure to bring cash if your kids are small enough to want to ride. They also had a play area perfect for babies with padding that was gated in. There's also a picnic area. Next we played in the caboose, dining car, cargo mover, and engine play areas. In the middle are the restrooms. There's a great expanse of stalls, family restrooms, and even a nursing room. The facilities were all very clean and well kept. Next we played in the greatroom. They had a fun green screen train set up, train set building area (that was mostly empty when we were there), a replica of the coast, and a REALLY fun interactive art exhibit. There you design your own train on paper and bring it to life on the animated screen. Lastly, we visited the "STEAM" room. This was the only disappointing part for my family. The staff kept getting us they had games in there, but we found none 🤷‍♀️. There was just some coloring pages and building toy sets. The gift shop on your way out was really great! The prices weren't as bad as I had expected. Overall, HIGHLY recommend! Guranteed to have a GREAT time!
This place is amazing and a breath of fresh air for a family outing. Interesting and entertaining. The play area was unexpected but also welcome and really great! They also made accomodations for our autistic son without hesitation, which really let us exhale, ha. 10/10, 100/100. Bring the fam and have fun!
An absolutely amazing experience! We brought our 2 year old and he was so excited to press the buttons to make the trains go to playing in the activity area and riding the mini train. I was just as excited to see the set ups and the detail on each track. I recommend anyone with small kids or an interest in trains that this is 200% a place you need to visit. If we lived full time in the area we would most definitely buy a season pass.
An absolute gem on the coast! By far the best collection of model trains I've ever seen. The scenes, towns, people, all amazing. The attention to detail second to none. Extremely friendly, helpful, and informative staff were available and ready to answer any and all questions. Spent several hours and will definitely be coming back. I highly recommend checking this place out!
This a great little hidden gem for anyone who has even the slightest interest in model railroading. Several displays with running trains. It's self guides but there are plenty of the staff to answer questions and provide detailed info on the displays. Well worth the modest entrance fee. There are things to do for the Littles in your group too.
We thoroughly enjoyed our first time visiting the Traintastic museum. The displays are great to look at and very detailed. The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable and more than willing to take a few minutes to talk about the wonderful work on display. We will definitely be back.

It was a really nice venue I got 2 beers strange planet, tasted like champagne, Ole buddy smooth but potent. I also ordered freemason burger with freshly fried pork skins highly recommend.
Incredible brewery with an extensive draft list and amazing service. The bar tenders were very friendly and easy to engage in conversation. They also made lots of great suggestions ensuring that we enjoyed every brew. Food portions are on the smaller side so order extra bc it all tasted great!
I recommend visiting on a weekday. We visited on a weekday and on a Saturday evening. The difference between the two experiences is huge. While the weekday experience is a solid five-star rating, the weekend experience is a complete disappointment. Therefore, on average 5+2=3.5 stars. On a weekday, you'll get a selection of six drinks in beautiful glasses, while on a Saturday evening, the best you can hope for is one plastic drink from a limited selection. But if I were to recommend it, I'd suggest a Clarify or Oyster.
This is a fantastic local brewery! Lots of beer options, great space, and nice little menu with yummy food!
We had a great evening sampling the fantastic variety of beer on tap. The staff and crowd were chill and friendly, and the live music added to the atmosphere without being overpowering. Well-behaved dogs also passed through. We tried some of their food, too, and it is a notable step up from bar food. We definitely recommend a visit. Swing through Gulfport just for a visit here. We left with a couple 4 packs to share with friends at home.
Visited on a Saturday afternoon. Pretty large selection of beers, probably about 20 ish? Varied seating, a few TVs, and a stage for live music that was setting up to start but we did not stay for. Overall we enjoyed it. It was pretty relaxed and quiet which is kind of what we were looking for.
I love the beer here and the service is normally very good. But the recent changes to the music make it very hard to go for a beer and relax. No music without paying at the jukebox just doesn't work. I couldn't talk to my friend without the people three tables over listening to our conversation. Too quiet. Please bring back regular music.
My friend and I stopped in on Sour Sunday! She did some research and this was a place to stop when in town and I definitely agree! It's a seat yourself, order at the bar place. The food was so good! The bartender was adorable! They also had live music! I would make time to come back if I'm ever here again! (:

Loved to see it. Its just a stop by place road side. Take few pictures admire the work and move on. Dont miss it if you have 10 to 15 mins extra in your journey. Its free and no wait time. We went on Saturday. Nobody was there.
Well if it's roadside attractions you want to see, then this is a must do. It's literally a big chaircin a parking lot. Easy pull in. Grab a photo. Take the kids.
We normally drive out of our way to see The World’s Largest anything and The World’s Largest Rocking chair was definitely worth the drive. The huge chair is thirty-five feet tall and built exactly like the furniture manufactured by the company. Being on the Mississippi Gulf Coast it is designed and reinforced to withstand hurricanes and is great fun to see and take pictures in front of.
Who knew this was a thing?! 😆 Well now we know. Check it out, have a good laugh, take a picture. 😎
This is exactly what you expect a huge rocking chair in a parking lot. Much bigger that we expected, great advertising!!
Beautiful !! The area was nice and clean ! Definitely was a great experience
Definitely a cool spot, I wouldn't get off the interstate to check it out, but if you're in the area that is fine. Nice picture opportunity.
Interesting roadside attraction if you are in the area. Unfortunately the store wasn't open when we stopped.

My 3 year old son & I attended the fair for the first time here & it was Awesome!!!! We got good parking & it was very organized. Also the rides & activities were spaced out enough so that people wasnt stumbling over each other or feeling crowded. Thanks for a well put together, clean, and organized facility!!! We will be attending again next year!! Oan my son had a blast🏇🍟🎈🐤
I love this venue. It’s well maintained and spacious. Parking is plentiful and free. I don’t have to battle traffic. I go almost yearly for the Celtic Fest, and can’t think of a better place for it to be held.
Normally everything is great here however this year there was some upset and confusion about the arm bands at the fair they hold there. Be sure you ask if and when the wrist band time runs out because my kids were in line for a ride for about 20 mins and got up there to ride and they turned us away to go buy tickets. The arm bands were $25 a piece and patrons were lead to believe they would last the entirety of the hours open. They didnt! So you can imagine our discontent. It was most definitely disappointing...thankfully the lady at the booth we bought our arm bands at agreed there was even confusion on their end and she gave us enough tickets to go ride the ride we stood in line for 20mins for. Hopefully they get the situation resolved cuz we wont be back to another event there until they do. Thank u to the lady in our ticket booth who saw our side

This was a great place to see and buy works from local artists. The staff are very friendly, and the atmosphere is nice. It looks like the classes offered are fairly diverse, too. I'll echo some other folk's thoughts about accessibility, as I did not see an entrance apart from the stairs at the front. However, no one in my party required accommodations, so I did not investigate this any further.
Great spot to highlight local artists! There are signs on the doors downstairs to call if you need assistance getting in, but I am not sure how they would get upstairs to see the gallery. Everyone was nice and friendly and all of the artwork was beautiful.
Had a pottery class with the very talented gerrol benigno. It was a ton of fun and informative:) def check it out, plus they have exhibits from the artist on display
Beautiful and charming space that honors local artists. A hidden gem all should visit while in town.
Lovely and quaint. Local artists are supported here and there are classes that are taught, too.
Loved it!! Actually decided to get a Christmas gift or two from there. Excellent displays and talent from the artist. Pleases me to support the blessing it is. Differently going back.
My grandson and I visited the art center Sunday afternoon. We looked at the artwork, pottery, homemade quilts (which were so beautiful),and we saw the airplanes that were made from aluminum cans. Great trip
This place has beautiful art for sale. I didn't buy any but it was fun to look at.

I came to FUMC about 12 years ago thanks to a friend, and I am so thankful I did. The two pastors, Claire and Jill, are absolutely amazing! They make you feel welcomed, valued, and engaged from the moment you arrive. If you’re looking for a church home where you are truly loved for who you are, this is your place. God’s love abounds here!
I love being a member of FUMC. Everyone is so welcoming and it’s easy to plug in. People don’t judge when you walk in the door. Our church really has a “come as you are” attitude, and I think that’s my favorite part. I love our pastors and music team as well!
First United Methodist Church, Gulfport is a vibrant, growing, inclusive community of faith where all are welcomed and celebrated. The worship services are exceptional and typically include prayer, scripture, an informative and entertaining children's moment, traditional hymn singing, an anthem provided by the full church choir, contemporary gospel singing, and an insightful, inspirational message delivered by one of the pastors. The church supports multiple community ministries that assist and support the local homeless population, senior citizens, and a local elementary school, among others. They also have small group meetings and are starting a new ecumenical service formatted for those with particular sensory needs. In summary, Gulfport First United Methodist Church is an active, vibrant church that is working hard to spread God's love to everyone.
Wonderful church that is active in service to our community. My family and I are so thankful that we decided to try this church out 11 years ago. Claire and Jill do a great job leading us and the people are welcoming and willing to serve!
I have been a member of Gulfport First United Methodist Church since October, -2017. I never thought I would like a big church but I love my church family at Gulfport First. A warm and loving community. An outstanding staff that works hard in the community to help others. A ton of activities for all ages all year round The doors are open for you if you are looking for a warm and welcoming community of faith Bible study at 9 and worship in our beautiful sanctuary at 10. See you soon
First United Methodist Church was my spiritual home when I lived on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and Pastor Clair Dobbs and the team made everyone feel welcome. The team went above and beyond to provide a engaging worship, fellowship, and discipleship experiences, and their service to the community is a model that we all should strive to follow.
Five years ago, I visited First United Methodist Church- Gulfport, not knowing exactly what to expect. What I found there was a church that daily lives into its values: to trust God, honor everyone, and reach out in service. Through its pastors, musicians, and laity these values are the core and heart of this diverse, welcoming church. FUMC focuses on prayer, scripture, study, and outreach to the adults and children in the congregation itself and the community at large. At FUMC I have found a church that enriches my relationship with God and with others. I am both thankful and proud to call it my church home.
I love this church! Such a welcoming place where everyone, from staff to members, is genuinely happy and care you are there. FUMC Gulfport exemplifies the UMC motto: "Open hearts. Open minds. Open doors." My soul rejoices to be part of a loving, inclusive, positive and thoughtful church family. I very much enjoy participating in worship services and benefit from smart and relevant sermons. So much to feed your soul and grow spiritually -- engaging small groups, impactful classes and plenty opportunities to engage with, support and give back to our broader Gulfport community and beyond!

What a pleasure it was to visit and see Girl's Weekend this past Saturday night. The volunteer staff and cast members all were wonderful. I was so impressed with the lovely attitudes and exuberance! Please make sure to visit and experience for yourself!
My son went to this theater to make friends and learn acting. He paid for shirt and video disc, and never received it for a year! He got scammed and the chairwoman wouldn't give back money. If you take your kids to this theater, never buy their merchandise!
i acted at this theatre for a few shows a few years ago. i'd just like to say that what i experienced here has made me develop severe social anxiety and i was quite literally traumatized. i think about what happened to me here, nearly 3 years ago, and still cry remembering the panic attacks i had. the producer, lori, scared me away for good and i wouldn't recommend this place to anybody considering playing in one of their productions. i know several other people scared off by the staff team, as well. it's just.. not a very good place. and to lori, i dont know what i ever did to you to make you hate me so much but i hope you know i have generalized anxiety disorder now and still bring these events up to my therapist. thanks! <3
Quality performances from a historic theatre group. Gulfport Little Theatre (GLT as it's affectionately known) has something for everyone at any age and has been entertaining the Gulf Coast for 70+ years!! Children and adults work together to create and perform making stories come alive on stage. As a Theatre Mom I can attest to the self confidence that participating in The Arts brings... that's my daughter in red jumping up and down on the set of Bye-Bye Birdie.
When they give you a contract saying that you will pay for both video disk and shirt, don't do it! Because they either take five months or won't give you the disc at all! Furthermore, everyone at that theatre is two-faced. They will they you that you're their friend when they're actually cheating you out of your hard-earned money! I witnessed it!
Gulfport Little Theater is a beautiful stucco building on a corner address. The parking area is well lit. What makes this such a special place to see a community theater production is the welcoming all volunteer staff. You can purchase popcorn, cold drinks, and a slice of pizza to enjoy during the performance. They also sell mixed drinks. You would do yourself a favor, to catch the next performance of a play held here.
An extraordinary institution promoting the performing arts on the Mississippi Gulf Coast! I've attended numerous performances and events and have enjoyed them. Keep up the great work!
We called ahead to get tickets for the Secret Garden which was supposed to be running from June 22nd - July 1st, but when we go there an hour before the show ( which is what they said for us to do ) no one was there. We waited for 40 minutes to make sure we didn’t hear wrong and it was actually a half hour before, but no one was there. I’m extremely disappointed in the false advertising of this production.
