The wine was delightful, and the service was excellent. Our recent pickup party was fabulous, with plentiful food, ample wine tasting, and delicious desserts.
Great spot for wine tasting. Beautiful landscaped gardens, comfortable spacious outside seating area. Brilliant wine flight. Our host Thomas was great, friendly and knowledgeable.
Had a wonderful time at the vineyard with my wife for our 5th year anniversary. We had the pleasure of having Cody take care of us. He was awesome and I know that Fess would have been proud of the passion he had for this beautiful place.
Love Fess Parker Winery! Such an amazing place in a beautiful area. The staff is great and love all the Davy Crockett nostalgia around the venue. It’s a beautiful place to sit, relax and sip some of their amazing wines! Joined their wine club after my first visit! Also don’t forget to check out the Fess Parker Country Inn, it’s gorgeous in a great area! 5 🌟
Super dog friendly! Can be inside with AC or outside. Tastings $25 or $35 for non-members. Big grass area to picnic or for pet relief. This is a great spot to have a chill wine tasting session with friends. No food except a cheese board.
Celebrated a friend's birthday here in picnic area. What a wonderful property. Highly recommended. Enjoy wine tasting in the stylish building or the relaxing patio. Beautiful grounds to stroll or take a guided horse tour of the 700 acre property set among rolling hills dotted with pastures and small ranches.
From the moment we arrived, the staff made it abundantly clear that we were unwelcome. Rude, dismissive, and utterly lacking in hospitality, we were curtly informed that because we didn’t have a reservation, we’d be relegated to the “dirt area” quite literally a dusty patch of land with worn, splintered picnic tables that looked like they hadn’t seen maintenance in years. Never mind that there were plenty of empty tables in the nicer seating area we weren’t even offered an option. Out of curiosity (and frustration), I checked online while we sat in the dirt and discovered that reservations were wide open for the entire day. So I made one. Immediately. When we returned to the front to inform the young woman at the host stand, her attitude only worsened. Instead of correcting her mistake or offering a polite apology, she acted as if our very presence was a burden. No smile, no welcome, just a cold shoulder and a forced gesture toward a now-acceptable table. We should have walked out then, and frankly, we regret not doing so. We ordered a bottle of wine which, when finally brought to the table, was already opened. The server didn’t say a word, didn’t offer a tasting or pour, just dropped the bottle and disappeared. In a region overflowing with outstanding wineries, this place stands out for all the wrong reasons. Skip it. Spend your time and money at an establishment that values guests rather than treating them like an inconvenience.
Great ambiance. Service was excellent (thanks Cody). Highly recommend to stop by, taste some good wine, and if you like, learn bit about Fess' career in Hollywood.

Was surprised to find out that the owner of the winery is the owner of LV Golden Knights (Go Kings Go). Really enjoyed the views from the tasting room and the wines that were presented to us. Ben, our server was considerate and a pleasure to talk to. He really informed us of all the by-products and flavors that were incorporated into each one of the wines 🍷. Along with Ben, the rest of the staff were friendly as well. It was a pleasure stopping in.
Firestone Vineyards offers a timeless experience that transports visitors to a bygone era. Walking in is like stepping into history dating back to the early 20th century, where the estate exudes the charm and character of California’s winemaking legacy, an atmosphere that recalls the days of Henry Ford and Ronald Reagan. Situated on an expansive 400+ acre property, the vineyard is a visual marvel, with meticulously maintained vines stretching as far as the eye can see. The landscape is absolutely picturesque and timeless! Each wine in the tasting lineup revealed a distinct personality. Ranging from well balanced, fruit forward expressions to more complex, oak aged varietals with excellent structure, the craftsmanship behind every pour was evident, showcasing both terroir and technique. The hospitality was equally top notch. The staff demonstrated deep knowledge of the history, wine and had genuine warmth to tailor the experience to every guest’s glass. Firestone Vineyards is a standout destination in Santa Barbara wine country and a highly recommended stop for anyone seeking both exceptional wines and a taste of California’s viticultural heritage. I highly recommend paying a visit to this historic landmark!
We decided to drive along Foxen Canyon Road to see all the vineyards in Santa Maria's valley. If you are looking for a wine tasting, you are spoilt for choice. We stopped at Firestone Vineyard and we were very impressed with the wine and the hospitality. The staff was friendly, attentive and clearly knew so much about wine. They explained every little detail about the tasting notes, the history of the place and their approach to wine making. I was blown away by the quality and variety of wine across California.
Beautiful vineyard and tasting area. Comfortable chairs, shade, live music, delicious wines. A cork tree to touch. Very relaxing
We went to three different wine tasting locations and by far this one was different. It was a 109 degrees outside so indoors was our only option. I did not expect to be seated in the back area with the barrels. It was amazing experience. They had a live dj playing vinyl music and they were raffling off some merchandise. We brought our own cheese and crackers. They provide you with chilled water and the service was great. We will definitely come back here. Thank you Firestone Vineyard ❤️
Sebastian was great! If you know what you like, or even if you dont, he's got the right wine for you. Very attentive, knowledgeable and super personable. Thanks for the great experience!!
Worth a stop! Almost skipped this one since it’s the first down the vineyard trail but glad we went in. The inside is medium size with no seating just standing at the tasting counter, worked for me but some of the family grew restless. Beautiful views of the Los Olivos valley and great wine.
The entire staff is incredible. The wine is equally great. Been coming here since the early 90’s.

2025.01.19 - Honestly, the only downside to this place is that the bathroom is a public porta potty across the street - though keeping in mind it really is intended to be a tasting room and not a bar, it makes sense. That said, the place definitely has a locals bar vibe and the wines are very respectable with something for everyone in the offering. There is an indoor bar and a small "living room" area but most of the available seating is in the backyard patio. The last time we were in Los Olivos we dropped in for one last tasting before hitting the road back down to LA and we bumped into Mike - super nice guy with fun stories of crazy times in LA. It impressed us that the owner was there enjoying his product and "hanging out" with his employees and customers. Carhartt seems to take good care of their employees, and if you forget your servers name they are pictured in the menu which I appreciated as a nice personal touch. We had the same server we had years previously when we came to Carhartt for the first time - when employees stick around, its usually a sign of a well-run business that takes care of people. Carhartt will always be a stop in Los Olivos.
The vibe was super cool and the wines were good, from what I could “taste.” My issue is with the size of the pours. As you can see, a bit stingy on the pour. For a $25 tasting flight, I would expect a bit more to really appreciate the wine. Overall, wouldn’t return to their tasting room with so many other options in town and outlying area.
This place was really pretty and we had hoped to come back but we weren’t treated very well there today. We had grabbed bbq at the food truck outside for lunch today and asked them where we could sit to eat. The lady at the counter pointed to a little seating area next to this tasting room and said we were welcome to go to the back patio as well. Since the outdoor seating was taken up, we walked to the back patio. It was lovely and there was some live music as well. The server handed us some glasses and menus and left. We kind of had our hands full with the food ant the time and when she returned we told her we were going to skip the tasting for now. We could tell she was VERY annoyed by this, and she grabbed the glasses, simply said “OH” and rolled her eyes and we never saw her again. Mind you we did want to grab a glass after and sit and enjoy for a while but her attitude was so unwelcoming and off putting that we left. Especially since we were told we were able to sit there with our food, I’m sorry if that isn’t a thing but how would we know? We don’t live far and like to spend the afternoon enjoying a tasting in the area but I won’t be coming back here.
Super fun vibe. Service was great and Chase the owner is a cool guy. Will come again!
What a great place! Very cozy stylish yard and special compliments for the very comfortable chairs here! Exceptionally pleasant service, I felt like visiting friends who genuinely wanted to treat me to wonderful wines and give me as much information as possible about each wine I tasted. The selection of wines is perfect, really enjoyed all the ones offered for testing. Many thanks for the excellent wines and created friendly atmosphere! Hope to visit again soon!
Did the wine tasting. We all agreed it was not to our liking. While the Sav was smooth and not grassy like New Zealand blends, the reds had a wet stone—mossy taste which was not enjoyable for us. It would have been nice to been able to try some of their wines by the bottle and not their red blends. Tasting pours were small compared to other wineries. While they should be 1oz there was not a measuring spout on the bottle so I don’t believe they came out to 1oz. Service was slow and on top of that the server passive aggressively said some negative things about another winery we had come from. Seems like a very local hang out spot.
Really lovely back area for wine tasting or just relaxing with a glass of wine, nice vibe and great service. We tried their tasting menu, which was heavy on their Venture line, not our favorite but nevertheleas nice to try. Wish there was more of their local wines on the tasting menu or half/half. Regadless we had a great time. Taking off one start for no bathroom on the property! (Porta potties across the treet, yikes)
Good wine, great atmosphere, and a friendly team. Big thanks to Alyssa for the awesome tasting experience. We really enjoyed the cab!

My recent visit to Andrew Murray Winery in Los Olivos, CA, was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we stepped foot onto the estate, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. Our wine tender, Shanna, was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly kind, enhancing our tasting experience. The selection of wines offered for tasting was impressive, but it was the Grenache that truly stole the show. Its rich flavor and smooth finish convinced me to take a bottle home to savor later. The estate itself is a sight to behold, boasting breathtaking scenery and a charming patio setting adorned with heaters and yard games. The pet-friendly atmosphere was a delightful surprise, allowing us to enjoy our time with our furry companions by our side. Overall, Andrew Murray Winery offers more than just exceptional wines; it provides a memorable experience that leaves a lasting impression. I highly recommend a visit to anyone looking for a delightful wine-tasting adventure in the heart of California wine country.
Before we even started tasting, the owner came by with a bottle in his hand and gave us a free pour from his personal bottle. I was already sold at this point, but the wine happens to be top notch as well. Honestly some of the best stuff around here. The whites and reds were incredible, we bought 3 bottles.
loved our time here, we joined after a beautiful tasting of unique and delicious wines!! the atmosphere is mod yet cozy, with cushy blankets and great, prompt service. we learned a lot about Andrew and his love of wines, thanks to the amazing woman who helped us out and told us all about AMV. we are thrilled to be members now and visit when we come to town (up from San Diego). they have very affordable pricing and the comp tastings with a membership can’t be beat! we’re excited to have taken home some E11EVEN wines as well, yum! a great variety here, and for the right price. we are so glad to have made the trip over here while staying in Solvang, at our hotels recommendation. what a beautiful spot, we look forward to being back soon!! thank you thank you, would recommend to anyone staying in the area. Roasted Slope & Petit Verdot were my personal fave, and s/o to Enchanté which surprised & delighted, turning us into white wine drinkers this visit!! cheers!
Visited AM in Los Olivos and was immediately fascinated by the tucked away location, and super modern tasting room compound. Thomas was my wine tender, and did a superb job walking me through the selection. He answered my questions clearly and we had a great conversation about winemaking and Andrew's career. I got to closely compare the Syrahs which are marginally different from each other, but I was helped to understand how they differ which was great! Just an unrivaled experience with Thomas. Convinced me to join the wine club!
Very dog friendly winery. They have the little trash can with poop bags out front like you see at parks, which was nice to see. The wines were really good. This place had a lot of really cozy seating inside, lots of couches and tons of blankets to snuggle up under.
Great wine and amazing staff. The wine is definitely worth the trip and the staff make for a great experience. I love the grounds as well. Reservation are best but they did accept walk in during covid.
Amazing views, decor and ambiance. Great wine as well, I highly recommend sticking to the richer reds however, personally.
Great wines beautiful winery and to top off our great day they had a pizza maker on site. Great times.

Great winery to visit off the beaten path, be sure to have a reservation or you will not be admitted. The wine is quite good here, one of our favorites time and time again. Sommelier was knowledgeable, polite and efficient. We are members and enjoy the experience, so peaceful ad quiet there.
We started our day at a fairly if not super well known winery (name withheld) The wine was good but the crowd and staff was stuffy, not accommodating and somewhat rude On to our second winery …. Demetria … so damn awesome. This place is absolutely fantastic !!! Demetria blew the other winery out of the water The views, the staff, the wine … all top notch Tons of locals … which is a great sign. They even let us bring in our sandwiches that Adrianna from Preferred Limo and Transport had arranged for us. Logan was a great server/pourer and the proprietor, Lexi was fantastic. We joined the club and will be back in person I give this place my highest recommendation A+++++
Off the beaten path and we’ll worth the drive. Logan was our tasting guide and a great one at that! He really went the extra mile to ensure we had a fun and memorable experience. The grounds and views were beautiful.
We loved our experience at Demetria. Logan was very welcoming and kind. It felt so much more private compared to some of the other vineyard tastings in the area. Beautiful view and atmosphere. The kitty cats were also adorable. Highly recommend!
Summary: Gorgeous grounds with great views but wasn't the most welcoming. Also, the drive in is about 7 min on a dirt road with amazing views but be prepared with your car you may need to take it slow. We had a truck so it was fun. Wine wasn't bad but wine is also about experience for me so the memory it left isn't a great one. You definitely need a reservation, The guy Nick doing the tastings on first impressions seems like a stickler and like he's sick of his job. Maybe we caught him on a bad day but we left pretty convinced he didn't want us there. Full story: Full disclosure there is a sign at the gate that says reservations online but we made the call to go in thinking that maybe they would give us a break since it was a Monday and thought it may be a slow day based on the other wineries we visited that day. We walked in and immediately said we dont have a reservation and asked if it was ok and were totally ready to be turned away which would've been fine but the guy inside was sweet and said it's ok go ahead and find a table. So we did, it wasn't crowded and the views are gorgeous. When it came to the actual guy, Nick outside who was conducting the tastings, he was really put out. When he found out we hadn't made a reservation he started in on how slammed he was about to get and how he wanted to manage expectations, that tastings take 2.5 hours, and how people ignore the sign and of course we had, so we were still apologetic and thankful and just told him we'd get two bottles so he wouldn't have to worry about us making him more busy. (mind you it was just two of us) After bringing the bottles and the glasses he didn't have to do anything for us the whole time but it was clear he didn't really want to. It never got super busy, plus while we were there about 40 min another party of 5 just came in a sat down without a reservation and we heard him tell them it's ok it's slow today. Then when it came time and we walked in to pay the $130 for drinking two bottles with a view he was just as avoidant and unfriendly. So it just felt a little personal. We have a place in the area because we fell in love with this wonderful part of Santa Barbara county, the people and wineries are generally so welcoming and feel like community. Not so full of themselves, but this place definitely felt like Napa vibes. Which is some people's thing, just not ours.
my very favorite place to drink wine. I've been coming here for well over 10 years and always look forward to coming back. It is by far the most relaxing place to just be. We have been members for most of those years and love their wine.
A poor experience overall. With an appointment required and a few minutes of driving on a private road to get into the estate, we assumed we were going to have an elevated experience. That quickly disappeared as soon as we arrived. It was my wife and my first time at the winery. The gentleman hosting us was kind of a snob and unwelcoming. Seemed to not even care that we made a reservation so we wondered why we needed to in the first place. It didn’t seem like it was to limit customer capacity as the seating was full. Our host never engaged with us or was interested in helping to make our experience enjoyable. We split a tasting flight because wine by the glass isn’t offered. He couldn’t be bothered to bring another glass so we could split the tasting between the two of us so we had to share a glass. The time between pours was very drawn out so we had plenty of time in between to ruminate about how bad the experience was. He looked at our table numerous times as we just sat and waited for him to come with the next pour but it seemed like he was ignoring us on purpose. Even though my wife mentioned to him she prefers reds over whites and asked him if he could bring the red wine tastings out (partly to speed up the whole experience) he said this was the order they go in. It got to the point where I went inside and paid just so we could leave faster. We honestly didn’t want to be there any longer than we had to be, and we won’t recommend the winery to anyone. The wine might have been good, but since the experience overall was so bad, I forgot if they were. One star for the estate being in a beautiful location.
We showed up without a reservation, but it was no problem. They buzzed us in and we wound our way through a beautiful two miles of rolling vineyards to get to the tasting room. Immediately, we were greeted and told to sit wherever we liked. There were plenty of shady tables so we picked one with a nice view. They served generous tastes of five different wines then a bonus Syrah. The server told us about each wine as he poured and was happy to answer any questions we had. Overall, the wines were good. After the tasting, we ordered a bottle to have with our picnic lunch. What a beautiful and relaxing location to spend an afternoon. We picked up two more bottles to take with us and they waived the tasting fees. We even got to meet the winemaker. Fantastic!

I love this place, I've been coming here for years and they remain amazing! Their wine options are great, and of course their cupcake($12 for 6) and wine tasting ($20) option is fantastic. They have plenty of seating in the front or back patio, I usually make reservations to be on the safe side but they also accommodate walk-ins.
I will start with the positive… the ambiance and outdoor seating was great. Beautiful atmosphere and vibe. Beware… the cupcake pairing is simply that you get the same amount of cupcakes as you do for a flight of wine. The tasting constitutes of a girl pouring the wines and explaining the labels and not anything regarding the wine. Oh! Did I mention we didn’t get the cupcakes until we were well into our 4th wine because they ran out, or that no one except the cupcake girl (who I was told more than once is a separate business than the vineyard) was willing to explain the format or show any kind of customer service ? I should point out we didn’t care for any of the wines, which was a bummer because we drove up to stock up on cases before the summer. I’ll end with that the flight display was cute with little milk bottles and the cupcakes were ABSOLUTELY fabulous! Bottom line, it’s a cute place for a picture opportunity & cupcake, but you may want to purchase your wines elsewhere.
Keith went above and beyond for a friend's 6oth birthday. Made it so special and one to remember. Order arrived on time and as always great wine!
Wonderful wines in a beautiful setting. This is a must when you’re visiting Los Olivos. Keith and his team are awesome. Always an enjoyable experience when we visit. GO FROGS!!!
Wine plus cupcake. It's the best experience in the area, highly recommended that you order the flight and sit out front. Six stars
I stopped in Los Olivos on a Wednesday and Saarloos & Sons stood out quickly due to several tasting rooms near where I parked being closed, but i'm very glad I stopped in. There is a beautiful patio area, but the tasting room was so artfully decorated and had so much character that I stayed inside and did a tasting. They sell amazing candles and fun swag that was great to browse through. Kristin was at the tasting bar and I stayed about 3x longer than I intended to because taking with her was so much fun. I'm going to come back as soon as I can!
Friendly wine tasting outdoors. What more do you need? The staff was very friendly and had fun inout about the wine we tasted.

We arrived there early for our reservation, and since it wasn't busy we were seated right away. Mary provided the best service ever, presenting multiple wines to compare and contrast with those on our flights. A very well rounded tasting experience in a cozy yet comfortable setting. Will be back for sure...we have wines to pickup.
My girlfriend brought this home from a bridal shower (gift) she attended. I can say without any hesitation it was without question the worst bottle of wine either of us ever tasted. Mind you you my Italian import dad made his own horrible wine in the 70s and it tasted like gasoline. 2 sips and down the drain. Can't speak to the restaurant but this was truly aweful.
This place was recommended by our wine distributor in San Diego. He hyped them up pretty well, but they exceeded it by far. We loved every wine we tasted. I don’t think they have a bad wine! The staff is amazing as well! Thanks for a great tasting and great wines!
Cute tasting room in the bustling town of Los Olivos. Order a tasting flight for a full spectrum of the vineyards productions, or order single glasses. Lisa, our server, was extremely friendly and proudly flaunted her knowledgeable about the wines.
Love Stolpman wines! Cutest little tasting room with a nice patio and twinkle light vibes. Shout out to Will for the recs 🍷 cheers
Label this as a must stop! Not only are the wines delicious, the staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable of their product. We will 100% be back here in the future. Don’t hesitate, go grab a glass or few bottles. And their pup is awesome too!
We enjoyed the wine, and we had a great hostess, Whitney. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you!
My friends and I went wine tasting for our Bachelorette weekend. Matty was amazing and knowledgeable about the wine. He was super nice and provided us with amazing recommendations. The wine menu was presented to us on arrival. The wine tasting had 6 different wines from rose to white and red. The wine was delicious and the atmosphere was very relaxing! I would highly recommend Stolpman Vineyards and ask for Matty because he is amazing!

Server Bryce gets 5 stars, amazing service and friendly server. Definitely a good vibe and made us want to come back. I door atea has AC but can get a bit loud, out door has shaded area from big trees, couch style seating with center table for lounging and chatting and tasting along with chair and tables around back perimeter outside. 💦The water they serve is valley water or "tap" but it had a particular very hydrating taste. Somebody in my group descibed it as " heavy ", my perception of it was it was spring water with a low ph, not arrowhead like at all, very good water very hydrating and amazing better than expensive Voss or Evian or Fiji.
Wide variety and history behind every wide taste. It's simply heavenly to taste their wine served
Lovely, chill property in downtown Los Olivos, reasonable prices, friendly staff, and EXCELLENT wine. One of my hands-down, stone-cold, all-time faves. Highly recommended.
A lovely stop amidst the others here in this quaint ol town which serves as the storefronts for so many great masterfully blended (or sometimes not) wines from the region. Epiphany has classic innovation and traditional soul of the grape infused in there selections, which have also spilled over into their, "Bubble Shack" bubbly room. The wine, the people, and the hearts that make up the staff make Epiphany an investment of your life worth the time, if it's not to busy 😁 ... We are members there from the first time we visited, and Latoya and staff has taken great care of us ever since. You can also enjoy complimentary tastings at Fess Parker with membership P.S. nice outdoor seating area. "Clink"
Had a great time here. We sat outside on such a nice day. The atmosphere was really nice as well. Meghan helped us. She was very nice and informative about the wine.
Excellent wine, reasonable prices and lovely tasting room! One of my absolute favorite wineries. Have brought many friends here ❤🍷
Great place to relax over wine. The wines are excellent. They offer tastings, glasses and bottles. The outdoor area is big with plenty of seats and open space and the indoor space is bright and open.
Love the wines from Epiphany. Long time club member. Highly recommend! Great tasting room. Convenient location in Las Olivas. Join their club!

Last week we stopped by with our two young kids. The people were super friendly and didn't mind our kid running around the big grassy area. Wine was yummy and the emus were fun to see. Also loved the sweet winery cat (Willy) and dog (Leroy). Will be back!
An absolutely beautiful facility! But extremely expensive and even more extreme light pours.... So that was disappointing. Went to buy a bottle and still was charged for the tasting, which was about the equivalent of a 6Oz glass. Wine was good. But overall it would be tough to recommend...
First time here. Got here at around 10:am. Loved it. So nice. The lady serving namer Ameris us was so sweet. Will come again
Best winery visit of our two-day trip to the Solvang area. Warm, friendly host. Delicious wines. Lovely venue and garden. Would highly recommend.
Great winery!!! Koehler winery is very inviting with their welcoming staff and great wine. Additionally they are very dog friendly and allowed for a relaxing experience.
Going to wineries such as Koehler’s really makes you wonder why anyone goes to the tasting rooms in cities. The rolling hills of vineyards as you drive up set the mood and the professional yet amicable staff knock it out of the park with tastings of delicious wines. The cats on the roof, the emu at the neighboring fence, and picnic tables with beautiful, old trees providing shade, all serve to round out the very worthwhile experience
Friends revealed this charming winery with delicious wines on a recent visit. Dan is a hoot, and knowledgeable about the wine. The grounds are gorgeous with a nice patio for tasting. While indoors was not currently in use, it's spacious and inviting. Now for the wine. By far, my favorite was their 2017 Sangiovese. I also recommend their 2018 Sauvignon Blanc, 2016 Syrah, and 2017 Grenache. I have to mention especially their 2019 Rose of Grenache, which is the best Rose I have ever had. I gifted a few bottles to my sister. We ordered a mixed case and are still enjoying. Enjoy Koehler wine, and drink in the beautiful views and the good company. Salud!
Beautiful winery! Dog friendly, delicious wine, and very friendly staff! We will be back! Thank you.

Amazing spot! Loved our visit and have been enjoying my lavender oil. It smells wonderful!
Super cute small business with an assortment of lavender based goods. Highly recommend stopping buy. The owner is so welcoming and friendly. Such a beautiful place to relax and read a book near their lavender fields.
It’s a small business for Lavendel products. You get a very warm welcome from the owner when you arrive. Good selection of Lavendel products, enjoy to chat with the owner and just relax at that place. Highly recommend to stop by
This was such a cool spot to visit! My husband and I wanted to do a fun but low key weekend in Solvang/Los Olivos, and this place totally fit what we were looking for. The farm is super cute with very relaxed vibes. We got to chat with Sean, who owns and operates the farm with his mom. He was so nice and gave us some really interesting insights and information, but also gave us lots of space to hang out and roam around. The two little shops are adorable and had some really cool products- I bought quite a few items, with absolutely zero sales pressure. I was so glad we visited here!
The farm was super cute! The guy answered all our questions and we learned a lot about the history of the area. We bought a lavender lotion!
This place has lavender bunches and every lavender flower based, infused, and scented product you can think of! The family owned farm is super cute with tables to rest, eat, and read in the outdoors. Plus, they’re super friendly and readily available for questions whether it’s about the farm, general area, and how they make their products!
Nice and peaceful place to visit. The store has wonderful lavender products! The body butter is excellent and made by the owner at the farm. They also have lavender salt and pepper seasoning which were very interesting to try. The farm was not in bloom when I visited, will surely go back in July to see the bloom!
Best lavender products. The scone mix is delicious. The lavender honey is so addictive, is the perfect sweetener for teas.

It was such a welcoming drive-up to the tasting room. The sight and sound of the vineyard was very inviting and the serenity of it kept us "girls" in awe! We had a lovely time at Beckmen's. My friends did not have a reservation however, the young man did not turn them away. I was the designated driver while my friends were wine tasting hopping that morning. I had to say that the sommelier was extremely knowledgeable and patient with my friends who were a bit tipsy. I had a lovely chat, very brief, with Mr. Beckman. As promised, Mr. Beckmen, the drinks were exquisite, per my son's reviews. He truly enjoyed all of the flavours. Also, it was lovely to have your amazing vineyard as the backdrop of my van😉😉
We did the tour and tasting and it was a wonderful experience definitely recommend. Brett was very knowledgeable about the grapes, vineyards and wine making process. Would recommend the tour and tasting and am hoping to come back during harvest season
4.5 stars, but I'm rounding up just because they asked if we wanted still or sparking water with our tasting! (I'm a sparking water fan, but that option is offered more often in Europe than in the US, so yay Beckmen!) Besides that, the setting was lovely, with lots of outdoor seating to enjoy the view. Service was also excellent (thanks, Alia!) and the wines were quite nice. Well worth a stop when you are in the region!
Absolutely fantastic winery with beautiful grounds and great wine! Bring snacks ;) or picnic style.. These were taken in November. Now everything is likely green and vibrant. I love their Syrah.
Nestled along one of the most picturesque roads in the region, Beckmen Winery is a hidden gem that boasts not only stunning outdoor views but also a charming indoor tasting room. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted by the beauty of the surroundings, setting the stage for an unforgettable wine tasting experience. The outdoor seating area offers panoramic views of the vineyards, providing the perfect backdrop for savoring a glass of wine on a sunny day. Meanwhile, the cozy indoor tasting room exudes warmth and hospitality, inviting guests to relax and enjoy the company of friends and loved ones. But it's not just the ambiance that makes Beckmen Winery stand out—it's the exceptional wines they offer. During our visit, we had the pleasure of sampling a variety of their offerings, and each one surpassed our expectations. However, two wines truly stole the show: the 2022 Purisima Mountain Vineyard Viognier and the 2021 Santa Ynez Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. These wines were a testament to the skill and dedication of the winemakers, showcasing the unique terroir of the region. Our tasting experience was made even more memorable thanks to our bartender, Carols. His charisma, extensive knowledge, and genuine passion for wine elevated our visit to Beckmen Winery to new heights. His attentive service and personalized recommendations truly made us feel like valued guests. During our time at the winery, we were fortunate enough to witness the beauty of the grounds in various weather conditions, from the tranquility of a clear day to the ethereal atmosphere of a light rain shower. And to top it all off, we were greeted by a sweet little kitty who added an extra touch of charm to our visit. In conclusion, Beckmen Winery exceeded all of our expectations, and we can't wait to return. From the breathtaking views to the exceptional wines and outstanding service, this is a destination that we wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for an unforgettable wine tasting experience.
Great vineyard and tasteful wines. The estate Grenache was a favorite, as well as the Syrah Block Six. The grounds are beautiful and very peaceful (no road noise as it’s a bit off the road). Tom was incredibly informative and personable and was the cherry on top for our visit. We’re already looking forward to visiting again in the future.
This is a great place to taste. Good wine, reasonable prices, unpretentious and a great outdoor tasting area. The servers are pleasant, engaging, and down to earth. There’s a great pond area for the kids to explore. Our tasting fees were waived with bottle purchases. This is definitely on my list of wineries to revisit in the future.
What a special spot! A beautiful drive from Santa Barbara. Tom was a wonderful tour guide--he was very knowledgeable, friendly, and happy to answer questions! The vineyards are beautiful and lovely to walk around. Highly recommend the farm tour and tasting--I learned a lot and the vibe was very down to earth.

First visit to this winery and were able to meet the wine maker who is extremely passionate about his wines and wines in general. You can taste very good wines and learn a great deal about wines and how they are made. Well worth a visit. We purchased wines here and will visit again in the future.
My family and I did a virtual wine tasting from Arizona for Mother's Day weekend and we had a great time. Larry was awesome. His presentation was casual, down-to-earth, and very enjoyable. Shipping was smooth and fast and the wines were really good. Even our non-wine drinkers enjoyed the wines. We will definitely be buying more wine from Tercero in the future. Thank you Larry for allowing us to have such a fun family activity during this pandemic!
This is a smaller tasting room, but nicely laid back. Becca loves sharing what she knows about wine and learning about what works for YOU and why. Prolly would have gone home with a few bottles anyway but Becca made the experience even better. Plus they feature plenty of unusual varietals. Malvasia? Never even heard of it!
They were closed, but the door was open. There were 5 people already tasting and it stayed that many visitors until I left an hour later. Owner and wine maker Larry Schaffer was there talking about his wine and educating the visitors. He has an amazing wealth of knowledge about the wine industry and he answers all the questions you can think of. I have known him for many years, and still learn something every visit. If the door is open, come in! Even if they are supposed to be closed. Thank you Larry!
I've spent a lot of time up and down California's coast with the military and vacations and I've always come back here for some really incredible wines. Some of the best in my opinion and the owner is a very kind man who is a great pleasure to speak with. Highly recommend stopping by and getting a taster, I'm sure you'll leave with at least one bottle!
Top notch visit to Tercero. Larry was a great host. Always love the places where you can chat it up winemaker. Wines were great. Love the low key vibe of Los Olivos. Some great restaurants nearby as well.
My girlfriend and I were on a wine tour through the Santa Ynez Valley and wanted to squeeze in one last tasting. It was a bit after hours but the owner, Larry, took us in without a second thought. His tasting style is very personal. With just a few simple questions he was able to read our minds (or our tongue's if you will haha). To avoid biases, the wine descriptions did not include tasting notes to look for. Instead Larry engaged us in a discussion about what we were actually tasting and where those tastes might have come from for each wine. In addition to making his wines and running the Los Olivos tasting room, Larry is a professor at a local University where he teaches winemaking. His passion for the subject really shows; we could have listened to him talk about wine for the rest of the day! Thanks again, Larry!
Larry (the owner) took us on an amazing wine tasting journey. His wines are great and his knowledge makes the experience well with while. 5 stars all around!!!

Serious question: do you like port? If you do, then Daniel Gehrs is a must stop on your wine tasting itinerary. Yes, they do have other wines and they’re perfectly decent, but the real reason to visit is their ports. Do a full port tasting (now it feels like I’m saying port too much) with chocolate. Oh, and pet Miss Cleo for me. You won’t miss her. Promise.
Had a beautiful warm welcome right from the entrance by a cute little red-head young man. He was so helpful in explaining everything to me about the different wines they have and what to expect taste wise. The wines were great liked both the reds and whites they were featuring. Bought a bottle of their port. Will come back again for sure!!!
YES! Port tasting!!! YUM! So glad their next door neighbor pointed us to this direction. LOVE: - their $10 port tasting - the mascot cross-eyed-gorgeous-kitty that we didn't get to meet - the friendly staff - the yummy chocolate chips to reset our palette Small store on los olives with a relaxing backyard.
I found the wines a little hit and miss for my tastes, but most were good wines. Most of the wines we liked through there was 1 or 2 we didn't care for. The staff in front seemed distracted but pleasant, though given the place was fairly empty....
Easily the best wine in Los Olivos. Very consistent ...almost every type of wine is outstanding.
Amazing wines and the friendliest, most knowledgeable staff anywhere. We always make a point to visit Daniel Gehrs whenever we're in the area.
White wines very tasty, agree with everyone else about port.
An amazing Sunday afternoon with a wonderful girl, a fat cat, and some wonderful wines, oh yes how about the ports! Thanks, Ronnie

My husband and I love this spot in Solvang! The outside patio is perfect for any season of the year. The inside is so welcoming! The atmosphere was phenomenal and inviting. To top it off they have live music every other weekend Friday and Saturday! We enjoyed every sip of our wine and the charcuterie was too die for with local olive oil. Eddie and his team are genuinely the best! Whenever you get a chance to come up to Solvang, you gotta stop by to have some local delicious wine and experience true hospitality🍷😍
We’ve now visited Sanger Family of Wines two months in a row, and I’m honestly still kicking myself for not writing a review after our amazing wine tasting last month. I told myself we’d be back and here I am, finally sharing what’s long overdue. I’ve been a loyal fan of the Sanger Family of Wines for years, and there’s a reason I keep coming back. It’s not just about their exceptional wines (which truly speak for themselves) it’s the warmth, hospitality, and genuine connection you feel the moment you walk through their doors. Whether you’re there to purchase bottles or simply explore a tasting, the team makes you feel like family. Last month, we were lucky to have Tyler as our wine host. He took the time to explain the details of each pour and made sure we were relaxed and having fun throughout the experience. On that same visit, we also met Eddie, the manager for the first time and he deserves a special spotlight. Eddie is the kind of person you don’t forget. His professionalism, grace, and sincere attentiveness made a lasting impression. It’s clear he leads by example, and that spirit carries through the entire team. He didn’t just make us feel welcome he made us feel valued. We had such a great time that my boyfriend ended up signing up for their wine club and walked out with a dozen bottles! This past weekend, we found ourselves back in town and of course, made another stop. This time, Rio guided us through the tasting. Energetic, knowledgeable, and full of great recommendations. He made our second visit just as memorable. And yes, Eddie was there again, offering the same warmth and genuine hospitality we’ve come to associate with Sanger. This winery is a gem, not just for its wines but for the people who pour their heart into every guest’s experience. Eddie, thank you for leading such a remarkable team and for consistently creating an environment that keeps us coming back. If you find yourself in the area, do yourself a favor and visit Sanger Family of Wines. Support this wonderful, charming winery I promise you’ll leave with great wine and even better memories.
I absolutely love this place! I’m from Canada and was exploring to find a wine tasting lounge in Solvang and this spot caught my eye immediately. Not only is the service and wine outstanding but the place has the most gorgeous aesthetic and vibe. The boss Eddie was also very kind and hands on with us, friendly and welcoming from the moment we stepped in. I’m glad I saw this spot. 10/10.
Wow. That’s truly the best way to describe our entire experience. Coming from San Francisco, we decided to stop in for some wine tasting, and from the moment we arrived, Eddie was absolutely amazing. His warmth, knowledge, and enthusiasm made us feel instantly welcome and comfortable. The ambiance was beautiful, with cozy fires and even blankets for the chillier evenings, such a thoughtful touch. The wines themselves were wonderful, but what truly made the visit unforgettable was Eddie’s charisma, passion, and attentiveness. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough. We’ll definitely be coming back with more family and friends next time. 10/10 experience!
We came into their tasting room a few months ago but never had the chance to write a review. There were several tasting rooms in Solvang, but we opted for this one as it was close to where we were staying. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We were greeted by two good-looking gentlemen, and one guided us to our seats. We did the wine tasting as well as the balsamic vinegar and the olive oils. The wines were great, but the star of the show, to us anyway, was the vinegar and the olive oils. We walked out with several bottles. We would love to go back and get some more!
The atmosphere was amazing we had a window seat that super comfortable and allowed us to watch the musicians outside. Outside looked quite nice as well and had fire pits at the tables! Our server Del was kind, knowledgeable and really made us feel welcome and special, even though the staff was all quite busy. Eddie and Selena were also helpful and kind. The wines, olive oils and cheese plate was quite delicious. I can't wait to return on my next visit up.
Absolutely incredible winery and tasting room! Eddy provided the best service! The fire-pit and exceptional wine made it a perfect date night.
If you're planning a trip to Solvang, do yourself a favor and make The Sanger Family of Wines your first stop. I cannot say enough good things about our experience here. It was, without exaggeration, the highlight of my birthday weekend. I've been coming to Sanger every time I visit Solvang, and it's always a must for me. The wines are consistently outstanding, and the tasting room atmosphere is pristine. Elegant yet welcoming. But this visit was on another level. Our group of nine showed up without a reservation, and instead of turning us away, we were welcomed with warmth and grace. Eddie, who led our tasting, deserves endless praise. He didn't just pour wine, he created an experience. From his deep knowledge to his thoughtful pacing, he made my birthday feel truly special. It was my first time having Eddie as a guide, and he has set the bar sky-high. As if that weren't enough, we also had the privilege of meeting Bill Sanger himself. Not only is he the owner, but he radiates the passion and heart behind this family of wines. He greeted us like old friends, and it was easy to see how his heritage and vision have shaped this incredible tasting room and the Mediterranean-inspired wines they produce. Every pour told a story, each wine was distinctive, memorable, and beautifully showcased the Central Coast terroir. I've done plenty of tastings up and down California, and I can say with confidence: nothing compares to what we experienced at Sanger Family of Wines. Between the world-class hospitality, the exceptional wines, and the unforgettable personal touches, this is a place I'll be recommending to everyone I know. If you're on the fence about where to taste in Solvang, don't be. This is where tradition, passion, and hospitality converge. Book a tasting, ask for Eddie, and prepare to be blown away.

Had a great tasting here. It’s amazing and I’d highly recommend the patio in the back where you can sit and relax. The canine companion is free :) One of the only spots where you can have cheese handpicked for you.
We love coming here! The first time, we were blown away by the Kempe rosé blends, and the Barbieri blends are consistently wonderful! Paolo and Erin make this a very friendly place to hang out. The bonus for me is the cheeses they have available! You can have a picnic in the back yard. It's our #1 go-to place in Los Olivos!
I've been a member of Barbieri's wine club for over 8 years and recommend their wines and their tasting room in Los Olivos. I prefer to go there on weekdays, when it's quiet, so I can spend time with one or both of the owners talking and learning about their big and bold wines. They also have a nice back patio area which I enjoyed on a day where it would have been too windy elsewhere. Penny, their dog, will usually come around for a pet and then will go off to lie in the sun. A lot of tasting rooms in Los Olivos aren't designed for you to spend much time there. Fortunately, this is not one of those and while they have made changes over the years, it has always remained a great wine tasting room.
Can’t say enough about Barbieri &Kempe! My husband and I usually share tastings (I do all Kempe & he does all Barbieri) and love it all!!! We get the best of both worlds. Delicious flavors and covers all pallets. Love visiting both locations and always get great talk time with the wine maker himself.
Beautiful tasting room located in Los Olivos. Danielle was very helpful in introducing the wines offered and also paired them great with a charcuterie board . They have a great selection of cheeses. Danielle made the wine tasting experience so extravagant she convinced us to become wine members. The music being played was excellent and the tasting room was kept clean.
We got to visit Barbieri & Kempe Wines as part of a wine tasting tour that I planned for my boyfriends birthday and it was an amazing experience. The wines were amazing and our host Paolo was great! He had set up a great charcuterie board and was so knowledgeable and the stories were great. It was truly a great experience and we loved the wine so much that we bought some to bring back home and signed up for the wine club. I love getting my shipments and my family members get so excited when I bring these wines to family dinners. I highly recommend having a wine tasting with them!
Barbieri is one of my must-stops in Los Olivos... if I'm being honest we usually 'brunch' there. :) I found Barbieri at the recommendation of another tasting room, noting they do an all white and rose tasting flight. I'm a huge fan of both and they did not disappoint. Their reds are great too, haven't tried a single wine here that I didn't enjoy. Penny the winery pup will love on you if you are lucky enough to visit when Erin is working. Paolo is a gem with a wealth of information on wine and food and wine pairings, as a Master Sommelier. It's a definitely family affair as we've even had the pleasure of meeting Paolo's son Massimo who was working on one of our visit. Do yourself a favor and be sure to get some cheese and meats to enjoy with your wine, that's my version of 'brunch'! :)
LOVE. LOVE. LOVE this tasting room!! I cannot recommend it enough. Both owners were there when we went and they were so fun and casual when telling us about their wine. Like we were friends! It's so cute there and they even have an adorable patio. Oh- they have amazing cheese, fancy salami, and baguette to go with your wine. We even took a few bottles to go!

Beautiful, welcoming, peaceful church. So kind of them to offer use of their restrooms to anyone and everyone, in a town that seems to have no public restrooms.
Perfect wedding venue, wonderful & welcoming church! My husband & I have been attending St. Mark's the Valley for a few years now, driving up every so often from our home in Santa Barbara to soak in all the goodness SMITV offers. We love the community, and the warm and welcoming "vibes" to people of ALL faiths (or none!). We chose to get married here and we are SO thrilled with our decision! Fr. Scott performed the ceremony and I really appreciated that he got to know us over the course of our engagement (esp. through the pre-marital counseling sessions). Candy Waldron who runs the community kitchen helped us orchestrate our reception BEAUTIFULLY, even when we moved the event inside just a few days before the wedding (due to weather concerns). We just got our sneak peek photos back and had to share them here - it's SUCH a gorgeous place to get married, not to mention a wonderful place to attend services. Photo Credit: Grace Kathryn Photography
Beautiful church & grounds. They do have a public bathroom for visitors of the town. Their rose garden out front is worth a visit!
Going to other churches makes me realize what’s special about St. Mark’s. Good little community, good tastes in liturgy and music.
Such a wonderful and welcoming place. Many community groups use the spaces for free. The rector is smart, loving, welcoming, and caring person and the community is supportive. The choir and organist are wonderful!!
Wonderful campus and welcoming community in the Santa Ynez Valley. Rev. Randel and staff open this facility for daily public use and numerous public events. It is a beautiful, quiet place in a busy, commercial, wine infused, town of Los Olivos.
One of the few places that has public bathrooms in Los Olivos (which has weird rules about that kind of thing). The church itself is nice and the signs are welcoming of all (or no) religions.
The land that this house of worship is on used to be a field that produced crops. You could see Matteo's Tavern from my sister's house. The church is beautiful but I miss the field & view.
